It's been a while... (again) let's just get straight into the chapter

--------------------------------------------

Y/N POV

The time had finally come for the test of courage. God, whatever was going to happen within the next hour or so was looking like hell any way you thought about it. The sky had completely gone dark as night had now begun, meaning the test of courage had opened.

Looking around, you notice the Quintuplets apart from Yotsuba were all helping to clean up from the Curry and Rice activity that everyone had just done, they all seemed to distracted by this so you used this as your chance to slip out of their sight.

A group of people were standing a few meters ahead of you, not before letting out a sigh, you walked over to that group.

"So you didn't chicken out after all!" Kaito turned around to your sudden arrival.

"I already told you, I intend to go through with this, let's just go already" you said as you left the group of Kaito and his lackeys as quickly as you came. Kaito was following right behind you as you both lined up to be put into the test.

A few people went before you both, couples mostly but obviously you weren't going with your High-School sweetheart like you wanted to.

Finally you both were let in after some questionable looks from the teacher attending the event.

-------------

There was literally no vibe of anything scary on the entire trail.

"This really sucks" Kaito bluntly said after a few minutes of walking.

"Something we finally agree on"

"Heh" he meekly chuckled.

You both knew what you were about to do, and to be honest, a fight like this should have happened a long time ago.

You hated Kaito, but usually you weren't the type to hold grudges. What you felt towards Kaito couldn't even compare to what you felt towards your Stepfather, he was on an entire different level of hatred, just the mere thought of him made you sick to your stomach but Kaito was just more of a strong disliking if anything.

As you continued to walk past all the shitty decorations you finally arrived at a split pathway. You both stood there for a moment wondering what to do.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! "

A guy in a blonde wig and a clown mask jumped out of the tree above you both. It didn't faze either of you so you both stood there deadpanning the guy until he dropped himself down.

"That was terrible" Kaito put.

"The worst" you agreed.

The boy stood there dumbfounded. But behind you, you could make out the sounds of shuffling in your direction, there was definitely someone sneaking up on you right now. You decided to wait until they got closer, Kaito didn't seem to notice them at all. As the person got right behind you, you quickly spun around to face them before they could get in their jumpscare.

Immediately, you recognized it as Yotsuba, her entire face wrapped in bandages besides some of her trademark hair sticking through, unfortunately however she seemed to already be mid-scare when you turned around so her momentum ended with her crashing past you as you managed to sidestep her, she fell past you but your caught her by wrapping an arm under her stomach and lifting her back up, you made extra sure to not let your arm go any higher...

"Sorry..." Yotsuba nervously laughed.

"Hang on" Fuutaro said, as he took off his mask and revealed himself. "Why are you both together?"

"We're patching up our relationship" Kaito cheerily said. This guy was way too eager to fight. You gave Fuutaro a look of 'don't worry, it'll be fine' and he closed his mouth.

"Do whatever you want, but take this right path, the left leads to a cliff and its pretty dangerous"

"Alright cool, thanks Fuutaro, thanks Yotsuba" you wave to them as you and Kaito continue down the right trail.

Distant screams and crunching of leaves under your feet were all you could hear, there was an immense pressure between you and Kaito now that you seemed to be finally alone.

"Hey" he turned to you.

"What?"

"How about we check out that cliff"

"What? you want a scenic backdrop or something?"

"No, so when I beat you, I can throw you off the cliff!"

"What is this, Tekken?"

He earnestly laughed at that response.

"Relax, it would just be an emptier and quieter spot don't you think?"

"I guess so, let's go" you agreed.

In all honesty, Kaito wasn't a super terrible guy, you were even both friends in the very beginning and this walk honestly kind of made you miss that time somewhat, but times change.

---------------

After sneaking off of the path, you finally find your way to that cliff that Fuutaro mentioned, it was an incredible sight, such an open space and it wasn't too steep. The moonlight was dazzling and illuminated the forest beneath it, too bad this natural beauty was about to be tarnished by two guys punching the living shit out of each other.

"Pretty good spot, don't you think?" Kaito said with a grin on his face.

"Why the hell are you so upbeat, we're not here for a picnic you know"

"Always the downer Y/N, I don't know how those guys tolerate you"

"Don't worry, I'm only like this with you, but there is one thing I'm curious about in all of this"

"And what's that?"

"What happens after this?"

"Whaddya mean?"

"I mean, we punch the snot out of each other for who knows how long, we most likely both get into deep shit with the school and then what? Just go back to how we always are?"

Kaito stood and stared at you completely stunned. You take off your jacket and place it on a nearby log.

Kaito seemed to have snapped out of it, and did the same. You both walked towards the centre of the area and stood face to face with each other.

He was taller than you by a few inches so you were looking up at the mountain of a man in front of you. You imagined that from the side it would look the same as when Gohan stared down Super Buu in Dragon Ball Z due to the height difference.

"You know, this reminds me of when we met" Kaito sneered.

"Baseball Club..." you replied, reminiscing on your short time in the Baseball club in your first year.

"I was indestructible before you joined the team. No one could consistently hit my pitches, and I would slam any pitch that came towards me. I was the indisputable best, but that all changed when you joined"

It was true, the first time you had both met was when you joined the Baseball Club. Back then, you both got along pretty well and you were both the standout players of your team. But naturally, like any team, complications began and before the end of the First Year you left the team. In reality, you missed that time of being at the Baseball Club, sports teams just have a good atmosphere and it was nothing like being a substitute for the Basketball team like you were on now.

"We were standing like this, me pitching and you up to bat" Kaito continued.

He seemed to be in the middle of reminiscing your history in the diamond, it was clear he cherished baseball, you did too once upon a time but not so much anymore. Although you have been kind of missing Baseball for a while.

"Y/N! You and I were unstoppable on the same team, we won our games to a good ratio and one of us was always held as the MVP, so why the hell did you ever leave?"

Kaito's fist was clenched by his side and it was visibly shaking from anger, genuine anger for once. "That's what pissed me off the most, you never told us why, you just put in the resignation form and left"

You stood there wide-eyed looking at the emotional behemoth in front of you, this guy was really pouring his heart out in front of you it felt pretty awkward...

"So why Y/N?, why did you quit?"

"You can find that out if you kick my ass, so try your best and try not end up un-conscious" you taunted. You really wanted to get this over with at this point, the intention of reminiscing over your past in baseball didn't exactly thrill you.

"Fine, have it your way" Kaito took a step back and took off his shirt, goddamn this guy was muscular it made you wonder if one of your punches would even damage him at all...

Reciprocating, you also took off your shirt, you were a lot smaller and slimmer than Kaito was but you still had some muscle on your body, not anywhere close to Kaito but enough that showed you at least kept fit.

You both walked in a circle, staring each other down while the moonlight shone up above. Right now, the other Quintuplets were probably heading into the forest but you were both so far off the path that you shouldn't be interrupted by them or anyone in particular.

"Enough Stalling" Kaito said. Simply nodding your head in agreement, you both charged at each other in the centre of the cliff.

Both of you drew back your right fist and launched it at the others face at the same time. The sound when echoed throughout the forest upon your respective fists connection. A punch straight to the face immediately set you both back some as you both staggered back due to the impact.

Getting into an attacking stance, you jumped towards Kaito, you knew you were faster so you planned to use that to your advantage as much as possible.

You threw out a right punch, but as Kaito lifted his arm to block it, you feinted, and instead launched a spinning back heel kick aimed directly as his head. The connection was solid and it knocked him back a few steps but as you recovered he charged straight back at you.

Immediately you realised how tough it was going to be to actually get Kaito into a position where you could take direct advantage.

He grabbed onto your sides and began to throw you, you tried grabbing onto his arms to stay with him but his raw strength was just insane. He shouted as you launched you through the air directly at a tree nearby, you tried to control yourself in the air and stop yourself before you hit the tree but it was to no avail. As a last ditch effort, you locked you fingers together behind your head as you hit the tree to try and reduce the impact to your skull as much as possible.

Your back slid down the tree, as you felt a line of blood creep down your face, it was too slow for it to mean that your head was cracked open but still it seemed to be a head injury none the less. Locking your fingers together as a temporary shield may have just saved you from something much much worse.

Kaito seemed hesitant for a moment before he began walking towards you. Obviously he wasn't trying to kill you as that would just be stupid, but he saw the look in your eyes that spelled out to him that you weren't down for the count just yet.

Propping yourself up, you shake your head to get rid of that now fuzzy feeling, you didn't even wipe the blood dripping down your face. Instead you ran at the walking Kaito which took him by complete surprise.

You landed a devastating gut punch, that made him spit up some blood. You'd put as much weight behind that punch as possible and it seemed to have worked, Kaito recoiled and stumbled back again with a surprised expression plastered on his face from your strength.

"You're a harder hitter than I expected! Guess you really were our ace batter for a reason!" he gasped, regaining his bearings. He wiped his hand over his mouth and looked at the blood smudge that now covered it. A grin started to form on his face.

Holy shit, was it even possible to put this guy down? Strength wise it was a losing battle for you so you decided to switch up the strategy. Light hits, and maybe wear out his stamina.

Launching towards Kaito, you dodge around his incoming punch and land a weak strike to his ribs from the side. He instantly swings his arm around to the side to try and clip your head with it and you almost dodge it but it does end up hitting you a small amount. Any more serious head damage would mean you would instantly be knocked out, being sent flying into a tree earlier was definitely not how you wanted this to go. This dodgy method didn't seem like it was gonna work out well for you.

Back and Forth you and Kaito continued to throw blows, their sounds were echoing throughout the surrounding area but with amount of pure adrenaline in your body it was hard to notice just how loud the sound was.

It felt like forever that you two were just beating the shit out of each other, you were both pretty bloodied, but neither of you showed any signs of slowing down or stopping. Various thoughts were racing through your mind as you felt yourself momentarily slip in and out of consciousness at each punch.

You wondered how the others were doing right now, for some reason it felt like an eternity since you'd seen any of them. Even though you must have seen Fuutaro and Yotsuba not that long ago. Nino was a different case entirely, you had no clue what mood she was in after she stormed off earlier, girls feelings were just too complicated sometimes.

As much as you wanted to be lost in the land of thoughts and dreams right now, there was currently a enormous guy punching away at you so survival instinct was at the front of your mind first and foremost, but you could feel yourself finally beginning to get exhausted but your adrenaline was keeping you in the fight.

Punch after kick after punch after kick, you bodies became bloodied and you couldn't help but have a huge grin on your face, Kaito was no different, if his grin widened any more it looked like it would fall directly off of his face. You were picking up small sounds nearby but it sounded like bush rustling so you paid it no attention, you just kept swinging blow after blow.

"H..."

"..ey!"

"HEY!"

You and Kaito both snapped out of fight mode and immediately turn to the shout that came from a few metres away. Standing before the both of you, with tears in her wide eyes, trembling was none other that Nino.

"Nino..?" you mumbled out, surprised that she was here. The ambition to fight had just been completely drained from your body and all that fatigue hit at once like a raging bull.

"What the hell are you guys doing?" she said as she ran up to you and looked up and down your body, she noticed the blood that had been streaming down your head this entire time.

"Y/N! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" she shouted. Even Kaito looked shocked, neither of you realised how much you'd actually been hitting each other, you were both bloodied and covered in marks.

Nino immediately went into that ultra-caring mode of hers and dug through her pockets to find some tissue. She's Yotsuba's sister so it wasn't a surprised she was even carrying them in the first place. You couldn't help but have a dumb smile on your face.

"Idiot.... what are you smiling about?" she said through her shaky voice, it sounded like she was about to start the waterworks. As she's wiping your face, you pull her into a hug and hold her tight.

You look up at Kaito who seemed to take the hint and he strolls towards his jacket after giving a nod of approval. He puts on his jacket and makes his way into the forest. Before he disappears, he looks back at the both of you and gives you a small hand signal, he tapped his wrist twice and pointed his thumb in the direction out of the forest. You could only assume he wanted to talk later but it wasn't filled with any aggression like all the other times, he looked almost satisfied.

You gave him a nod and then he disappeared into the forest of the night. Watching him leave was a bittersweet mix of emotions, he must have seen something similar the day you left the Baseball team. But right now, there was a beautiful sobbing girl in your arms who was your top priority.

-----------

"Hey Hey, you okay?"

"Idiot..."

Nino released herself off of you. She looked around for a moment, confused as to not seeing Kaito here anymore.

"Where's he?"

"Kaito? he left" you simply put.

"Is that it?"

"Whaddya mean?"

"When I got here you two were beating the hell out of each other and now its all cool?" her tone sounded slightly feisty all of a sudden, back to her usual self in no time it seemed..

"No one said its all flower fields between us but, I don't think our mutual animosity for each other is really there anymore."

"Boys are stupid..." she muttered.

"That we are" you smiled.

"Good thing I found you, you might have both killed each other"

"Speaking of, why are you here anyway?"

Nino hesitated for a moment. "I got split up from Itsuki after she ran away crying at Yotsuba and Uesugi jumping out from behind a tree" she scoffed.

"Thanks for going with her anyway"

"I-It's no big deal" she blushed as she twirled one of her bangs around her finger.

"Well, why don't we try and find Itsuki together, it'd be pretty suspicious for her to show up without you or the other way around"

"Okay... but what about you, Kaito isn't here anymore either"

.... "Oh yeah, shit you're right"

"Dummy, what would you do without me" she sarcastically teased as she began to make her way back into the forest.

Looking back at the area where you had just had one of the most intense fights of your life, a faint smile appears on your face as you grab your jacket and rush into the forest behind Nino.

------------

Walking around under the moonlight with Nino was a pretty romantic setting in and of itself. As much as your just wanted to pop the confession, your anxieties were still holding you back somewhat and you just couldn't bring yourself to do it.

"What's wrong?" Nino tilted her head and leaned forwards as she kept her gaze on you.

"It's nothing"

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, no worries here ribbons" you chuckled

"You're honestly such a weirdo, grinning like that with blood and injuries all over yourself and now your acting like everything's peachy"

"Well, if you like this weirdo, what does that make you?"

Nino blushed at the sound of that "S-Shut Up, come on we're never going to find Itsuki at this rate" she said as she picked up her pace.

Smiling to yourself like an idiot again, you trailed behind her.

After about 5 minutes of searching, you had pretty much given up hope.

"Hey Y/N, can I ask you something...?" Nino quietly said.

"Sure, go ahead"

"Well..." she was clearly hesitant, like she didn't really want to ask whatever was on her mind.

You grabbed both of her hands, and turn her towards you.

"Huh?" she says in surprise

"Nino, you can ask me anything, I don't mind"

She looked intently into you eyes and opened her mouth...

Suddenly you heard the rustling of bushes again, Nino got frightened and clung onto your arm, pressing herself extremely tight against you, which was a nice recharge.

"Waaaaah, Nino... where'd you go...?"

It was Itsuki, face full of tears walking through the forest all on her lonesome.

"Itsuki!" Nino unfortunately let go of you and ran up to her sister and embraced her in a hug.

"Nino!"

Ah, what a heart warming reunion, too bad you were all still lost in the middle of a forest in the darkness of night but hey, who were you to ruin the mood. You approached both of the girls.

"Y/N!?" Itsuki spat out.

"That is my name last time I checked"

"W-W-Why are you here!?" she stammered.

"It's what I told you about earlier"

Itsuki quickly glanced at Nino and then back to you but before she could continue.

"Hey, that brings it back to what I wanted to ask both of you, but every time I tried to bring it up, fate interrupted me!"

"Nino, what are you talking about?" you asked.

"I'm talking about what did you guys talk about earlier! you guys came outside so much later than the rest"

"Oh that, why? are you jealous?" you said as you walked over and pat her head repeatedly.

"Just answer the question!" she pouted.

"I just told Itsuki what was going to happen between me and Kaito today, or more accurately she pried the information out of me" you replied deadpanning at Itsuki.

"A-and.." Itsuki continued, facing Nino. "I felt bad that you had to come with me even though I know you really wanted to come with Y/N... so he talked me over it, that's all"

"Really?"

"Yes really, what do we gain from lying to you?" you replied.

"Fine, but Itsuki, next time you have a problem just tell me okay?" Nino said as she cupped Itsuki's cheek with her hand.

"mmm" Itsuki hummed in reply.

"Now, with that out of the way, we gotta find our way out of this forest, you guys ready?" you turned and asked the girls.

"Yeah"

"Let's do this"

As confident as they sounded, a sudden screeching noise rung throughout the forest, it was probably a bat or something but both girls clung to each of your arms, their softness providing comfort in your current situation. Well, it was a good situation for you so no use complaining. You proceeded to try and find a way out of the forest with Itsuki and Nino in tow.

------------------

Some Time Later, Back at the Lodge...

"So, he turns into a chainsaw?" Miku tilted her head.

"Yeah, like a Chainsaw/Human hybrid, hence the name Chainsaw Man!" you explained.

"Maybe I'll try it out, Yotsuba have you heard of it?"

"Yeah! It's really good, its all like BRMMMMM, GRRRRRR, ZAAAAAAHH, POWWWWW, VANCE VANCE!" Yotsuba sounded out as she frantically waved her arms around and made a bunch of sound effects.

"A Chainsaw huh? that's really something" Ichika laughed.

You, Miku, Yotsuba and Ichika were all in your room. After you eventually found your way out of the forest, Ichika offered to help fix up some of your wounds for you, so you and her went back to your room but Miku and Yotsuba also tagged along. Fuutaro, Nino and Itsuki were busy elsewhere around the lodge.

"Y/N, try and sit a bit more still, unless you want me to get even closer" Ichika teased as she inched closer to you purposefully.

"If you got any closer, we'd probably fuse and as wonderful as I'm sure that'd be, I like my body"

She giggled in response and continued wiping away at your cuts and marks.

"So how was the test of courage for you three, considering I haven't seen you since we all left the rooms earlier"

"Me and Ichika went through without a problem, it wasn't too scary knowing that Yotsuba and Fuutaro were behind it" Miku stated as she took a sip of water.

"Yotsuba what about you?"

"It was really fun! Me and Fuutaro scared a whole bunch of people, I'm just glad you and Nino found Itsuki after she ran off screaming" Yotsuba laughed.

"Yeah she was a crying mess when we ran into her and she was praying for her survival when we were trying to find the way out"

Suddenly you had a realization.

"Wait Yotsuba, shouldn't you be preparing for the bonfire tomorrow, don't you have logs to move or something?"

"Oh shoot, I forgot" Yotsuba said as she jumped up from being seated and jogged for the door.

"Fuutaro's meant to help you with that right? Good Luck using him for his strength" you teased.

"Y/N, I'm sure he'll be fine" Ichika stated as she also stood up.

"Going somewhere?" Miku asked

"mhmm" Ichika stretched out her back. "Yeah, I have some of my own things to take care of, so I'll be heading out with Yotsuba.

They both proceeded to leave the room, leaving just you and Miku left.

"So, what are you gonna do now?" you ask

"What do you mean?"

"Well, right now I gotta be somewhere, someone's waiting for me"

"Nino?"

"Kaito"

"What?" she said in complete shock. "Don't tell me you haven't had enough fighting today..."

"Nah its not that, I think we just need to talk things over man to man to settle our differences, or something like that, I don't really know how it's gonna go"

"Okay then well, good luck"

"You can stay here if you want, here" you say as you reach into one of your bags and fish around for your 3DS. "Here, you can play whatever on this in the meantime"

Miku examined the 3DS carefully. "Clean, Red and in good condition, well done"

"Did you not expect me to? I take care of my consoles and games, manga too"

"I'm sure, one day you'll have to show me your collection"

"It's a promise, alright I'll be back sometime later Miku" You say as you leave the room.

-----------

Thinking of where you were going to even meet Kaito drew blanks in your mind, so you decided to just walk around the lodge and the surrounding area until you ran into him or one of his friends.

The cool night breeze hit your skin as you wandered outside once again, what a night it had been and there was still one more day of this field trip to go, it felt like weeks had already gone by. Other students were hanging out with their friends, couples were snuggling under the moonlight, some teachers were far off into the distance having a much needed smoke break and here you were, about to have a hear to heart with a guy who's face you were punching in a couple of hours ago.

Soon enough, you find Kaito and his group of lackeys throwing stones into a nearby lake. As you approached them, some of the lackeys turned to you.

"Y/N!?"

"What's this guy doing here?"

The all swivelled around one by one like a horde of penguins.

"That's enough." a deeper voice boomed from the back. Kaito stood up and pushed past his lackeys to face you. "Y/N, glad you decided to show"

"Well, at this point we might as well untie all the knots"

"Right, alright boys, fall out" Kaito commanded.

The other guys quietly shuffled back in the direction of the lodge, leaving you and Kaito alone once again.

"Quite a posse you've got there" you said as you sat down on a tree stump.

"Yeah, they really just follow me around, makes me feel like a mob boss or some shit"

You let out a light chuckle. "So, what did you want to talk about?"

"Us."

"Kaito, as flattered as I am I don't swing that way..."

"Not like that ya shithead, besides I know you already have your girlfriend Nino"

"Actually she's not my girlfriend yet..." you trailed off embarrassed.

"What, are ya for real?, why haven't you confessed to her yet, you're sitting on a goldmine!"

Nervously you broke eye contact and gazed at the moons reflection on the lakes water. "I dunno"

"Ya don't know?"

"Yeah, I just can't"

Kaito paused for a moment "Ah, I think I get it now. After all this time it makes sense"

"What does?"

"Y/N, you've got commitment issues don't ya?" he bluntly put.

"What the hell kind of shit are you talking about?"

"You haven't confessed because you're scared to commit, to devote yourself to the fullest, It's the same with the Baseball team, even though you had it in the palm of your hand you just let it go, back then you were scared to commit to the team, and you let yourself get worse grades than you should because you can't devote yourself to getting better grades right?"

Now that he sounded it out, it actually made some sense but you'd just never realised it up until now.

"Ya never had a concrete reason for leaving the team, did ya?"

Letting out a sigh of defeat, you had no choice but to give in. "No, I never did. What's the team like now anyway?"

"We pull our weight, but it's not been the same since ya left" he admitted.

You leant back and looked up at the star-filled sky for a brief moment while a thought popped into your mind.

"What if I wanted back in?" you turned to him

"No shit, are ya for real?"

"Maybe, it's been on my mind for a little while I do genuinely miss playing, plus the basketball team fucking sucks in comparison" you laughed.

"True, I can't stand those uptight guys on that team" Kaito said as he laughed with you.

"It's so stupid"

"What is?"

"That we hated each other for so long because of me being an idiot, just two stubborn idiots who don't know how to reach a conclusion and now we're sitting here and talking like there was never any bad blood between us at all"

"I guess you're right, so what now?" he asked.

You stood up and stretched. "Now, we just live our lives, we'll handle the baseball stuff when we're back at school, I wanna enjoy the rest of this trip before then"

"With Nino right?"

"..."

"Ya gonna confess right?"

"..."

Kaito looked at you stunned but laughed it off, before standing up too.

"Well, whatever ya decide to do, no pressure, I'm sure she has it in her to wait if ya aint ready"

"Thanks man"

"No problem, we're not teammates for nothing"

"Not yet anyway, but soon" you smiled.

-------------

After some more small exchanges, you and Kaito parted ways, somehow this had all worked out and your once sworn enemy just became like an old friend once again.

Arriving back at your room, you open to find Nino sitting on your bed by herself, Miku was nowhere to be seen. She turned to face you upon your arrival. She looked super cute.

"Y/N!" Nino exclaimed as you hung up your jacket.

"Yo" you waved as you came and sat next to her.

You gave her a small hug. "The dance is tomorrow, how are you feeling?" she asked

"Nervous, but you're my partner so I have it as good as I could get"

"Dummy, don't be nervous, you can dance better than I can"

"Okay, then how are you feeling about Skiing tomorrow?"

"Skiing?, YOU know how to ski?"

"Why'd you have to emphasise it like that?" she raised her voice.

"It just doesn't seem like your area of expertise, I imagine Yotsuba has a good grip on it though"

"Yeah she does, but I'm no slouch either" she proudly stated.

"I'll see it when I believe it Ribbons"

"By the way" you continued. "What happened to Miku?"

"Miku? oh, I think she went to go and look for Ichika for some reason, I came here hoping to find you"

Just now noticing your 3DS was placed neatly on a desk you had a big sigh of relief, that thing was like a son to you.

"So how did your talk go?"

"Questions on questions tonight huh, how do you even know about that...?"

"Miku told me"

"It went fine, we sorted out our problems"

"Did you fight again?" Nino asked with a more concerned look on her face.

You let out a sigh.

"No, we didn't fight I'm just a smooth talker, you of all people should know that, right?" you smirked.

Nino pouted and flopped backwards onto your bed, cheeks as red as ever like times never change.

"Dummy..."

---------------------------------------------------------

I did it again... another 6 week break. At this point sorry don't even cut it like last time. I don't have an excuse other than I just didn't feel like writing so I didn't.

I tried to make this a slightly longer chapter so sorry if it does seem a bit bloated with stuff, I've gotten a tad rusty on my writing too...

Honestly I got up to the start of the fight 2 days after publishing chapter 18 but just couldn't find a way to write out the fight that felt good so I just left it for weeks on end.

In the time I've been away I've seen a lot of new people come to read the story which I really appreciate so thank you to any one old or new who are still reading!

In other news, I'm going to my first convention this upcoming weekend, so I'm PRAYING that I can get a picture with a Nino cosplayer because that would be the dream, but we'll just have to see and I'll let you guys know If I do.

I also finished the Yakuza series (Besides Like a Dragon) and goddamn Yakuza is such a good series, it's what inspired me to do a fight in the first place in this series.

But, yeah, That's all from me, I know I say I'll try and not leave a huge break again but at this point I don't expect you to trust my word. But in all honesty I'm a lot busier now than when I started writing this series but my goal is still to see it all the way to the end so I hope you can stick with me until then. Chapter 20 is already in the works too.

Next Time, the Conclusion to the Field Trip Arc! (probably)

I'll see you guys then, take care of yourselves guys!
