The rest of the night was spent happily. And day by day, Drayce and I would hang out with Lake, because Nixon is too busy with learning alpha duties or things and training.

But yeah, sometimes, he would come with us if he is free. At least he makes time for us, it has also been 2 months.

And in that two months, Drayce and I would become closer and closer.

Well, you could say now we are officially comfortable mates. What I meant about that is, I'm officially comfortable with him.

I'm not shy anymore and I would always wake up hugging him without feeling shy or without rushing towards the bathroom.

"That one is shaped as a flower." Drayce said while pointing at the other stars and I looked at them carefully. Indeed it is a flower.

I roamed my eyes around all the glistening sea of stars above us and a smile made it's way to my lips when I made a connection.

"And that's a heart." I said with a smile. Drayce turned his head to look at me after looking at the heart for a few seconds.

He raised his hand and caressed my cheek. We were both lost in each other's eyes.

Our faces started to get closer and I closed my eyes as soon as his soft lips landed on mine. I slowly wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing him back.

This feels so romantic. We are kissing passionately under the sea of stars and the bright moon while seating on a meadow filled with beautiful clean grass.

After breaking the kiss, we placed our forehead against each others.

"Was that your first kiss?" He asked me and I smiled before nodding slowly, without breaking the contract of our foreheads.

"Same to you, my queen." He said with a smile which made me feel so happy inside my heart.

I opened the door and the two of us got inside.

"Mom, We're home!" I shouted as soon as we got inside.

Even though it is already 8 PM, my parents are still awake. It's halloween after all. This is how we celebrate halloween, and we would sleep at 11 PM or 12 AM.

"Oh goodie! I just finished the pumpkin pie." My mother said while wiping her hand with a small towel as soon as we got inside the kitchen. Suddenly, we heard a knock outside the door.

"I'll get the door, you can stay with mom, love." I said before letting go of his hand and walking towards the front door.

I opened the door but there's no one outside that made me frown.

"Are you playing a prank on us? If you are, stop it or you'll regret it." I threatened, before closing the door.

I turned around and was about to walk away when there was another knock on the door. I frowned in annoyance and immediately opened the door.

"Roar!" What greeted me is an Image of two creatures with pointy teeth full of blood and it's eyes were bloody that made me scream so high and my heart race so fast. Moon goddess save me!

I then heard laughter of two men outside that made me stop screaming and a frown made it's way to my face, but my heart was still pounding fast.

Suddenly, the heads of the two creatures were removed by their own hands and what replaced them were the happy-teared faces of frickin' Nixon and dorky Lake.

I heard someone breathing heavily behind me, I turned around and saw my mate breathing heavily while his palm was placed on his chest.

He looked up and widened his eyes before running towards me with a big tight hug. After breaking it, he looked at me up and down.

"Are you alright? What happened?" He asked worriedly. I poked my tongue inside my mouth and looked back at the two men outside with a glare, making Drayce look at them too.

"I'm fine, It's just this jerks jump-scaring me." I said with a glare before stomping towards the kitchen with an annoyed expression.

"You guys almost gave my girlfriend a heart attack!" I heard my mate scold them while I walk inside the kitchen, but I can still hear them.

"We're sorry man, we just wanted to try it, and it was so funny." I heard Lake's voice that made me roll my eyes.

"Still, what if something bad happened? Have you thought of that?" My heart softened and it swelled when I heard my mate's concerned voice.

"What happened back there?" My mother asked with a frown. I took some halloween cookies shaped like a spider before eating it.

"Nixon and Lake made a jump-scare for me." I said with an upset tone.

I don't get scared easily, duh, I'm a Vampire, Werewolf and a Witch. But I have a big fear and dislikes of jump-scares. Good thing I really didn't have a heart attack. You also must be wondering why Nixon and Lake don't know about it.

Well, we never watched horrors that has jump-scares before because my father would watch it first before letting me. That's why they never knew. Of course, even supernatural creatures can get scared. We have emotions too.

And yeah, everyone gets scared of jump-scares, but I have an intense one. The first time I watched a jump-scare with my family, I ended up fainting and brought into the healer. I was sleeping for 1 week and it was because of intense fear.

"Oh my goddess, are you alright?" My mother asked with a concerned tone.

"I'm fine mom." I answered, taking another delicious cookie, but this time it was shaped as a finger.

"No, you're not. I need to teach those boy-" I cut her off.

"Mom, I said I'm fine." I said clearly which made her stop. She just sighed before nodding and walking back to what she was mixing a while ago.

"Hey, Evera. We're sorry-" I heard Nixon say but my mother cut in.

"My goddess, Nixon, you guys almost killed my daughter! Good thing she didn't trigger her phobia much. I'm gonna tell your father about this young man! And you too Lake!" My mother scolded with disappointment on her tone.

"What? Phobia? Oh my goddess, princess I'm so so sorry!" Nixon said guiltily, giving me a tight hug. I felt a tear fall from my left eye and I hugged him back.

"It's fine, Nixon. I'm still alive." I said with a soft chuckle. Nixon broke the hug and shook his head while holding my left cheeks.

"No, we almost put your life in danger." Nixon said with a worried expression that made me roll my eyes. Typical Nixon, always the worried type. They didn't know I have a phobia, So it was fine.

"Well, he's right, jewel. You were almost in danger. We're sorry." Lake cut in with an apologetic expression.

"How about you guys make it up for me with eating creepy cookies!?" I said while holding the bowl of creepy-shaped cookies with strawberry stuffings on it.

They all smiled and took a cookie from the bowl. I looked up at Drayce who is leaning on the wall. Hes got a smile on his face while looking at us.

"Come on, love! Join us." I said, taking a cookie from the bowl and handing it to Drayce. He chuckled before taking the cookie from my hand and taking a bite.

This is my life, and I love it. Even if Me, Nixon and Lake would fight, we would still end up with forgiveness. Even if we have a strong pride towards others, our pride for each other is too weak.

"Where are we even going?" I heard my mate ask which made me chuckle, swinging our hands together while Lake is leading us somewhere.

"To the falls, I want to swim with you guys." Lake said with a wide smile. Damn, this boy loves to swim. Maybe that's why his name is Lake. Great coincidence.

We were just walking when a circle of different colors appeared just beside my mate. My eyes widened when I realized what kind of circle it is.

Purple mixed with red, orange and yellow! The portal towards the shape-shifting dragon realm!

Suddenly, Drayce got sucked inside but I couldn't even get inside, as if it was blocking me. I was still holding on to Drayce' hand that was slowly starting to slip.

"No! Drayce, please hold on!" I screamed, Nixon and Lake also rushed to my side to help when it was already too late. His hands slipped out of mine.

"DRAYCE! NO!"
