I woke up with a low groan while massaging my head. What Happened? I looked around the room and immediately remembered what had happened earlier. Drayce..

"You're awake!" I heard Lake's voice shout and I was crushed with a tight hug as tears began to fall from my eyes.

"Drayce.. he's gone.." I sobbed. He's gone.. my mate is gone.

"Shh, it's going to be alright, jewel. Calm down." He soothed me.

"No! He's gone!" I said, sobbing in his embrace. But I do hope he'll come back, I miss him already.

"He'll come back, princess. Don't loose your hope like that." I heard Nixon's voice and I opened my eyes to see him leaning on the wall, beside a door with a plate of food.

"Will he?" I asked with a soft tone, breaking the hug from Lake and staring at Nixon.

"Yes, he will. Now here is a venison steak with mushroom sauce, made by your mom. She said it's one of your favourite cooked deer-" He didn't finish what he said because I squealed and ran towards him, taking the plate.

"I guess it is your favorite.." He said with an amused expression. I just smiled at him before sitting on the small couch that is attached to my bed and began eating the steak. This is so delicious! I hope Drayce is here to taste mom's venison steak..

"If Drayce is here, he'll sure love to eat this!" I said with a smile, but a tear fell from my left eye afterwards. I wiped it away and began eating again. If he were here..

"Like I said, princess. Don't loose your hope." Nixon warned and I nodded, giving him a forced smile. I then heard him sigh.

"Lake and I are gonna give you some space, see you later, Eve." After saying that, they both got out of my room, closing the door softly.

I wiped the tear that again slid down my left eye, I just decided to open my phone to play some games, so I could ignore the pain. But what greeted me is the wallpaper of me and Drayce. Oh damn it!

Tears after another began to fall and I immediately turned the phone off, putting it inside the drawer. I just laid on the bed. Maybe I should just sleep.

I hugged one of my pillows and fell asleep immediately.

"Ta-da!" He said after removing his hands from my eyes. There was a fire that was formed as a heart. It was very beautiful.

"You made this?" I asked with a soft voice, my heart melted by what he did. It is amazing!

"Yes, but not only that.." He said, making me look at him with curiosity. He then showed me two tupper wares.

The other has a marshmello inside while the other has a raw meat of a deer. He was also holding two long roasting stick in his hand.

"My goodness, you're amazing!" I squealed, taking the tupper wares and one of the sticks before running over the fire, feeling nothing.

I sat on the ground while Drayce sat beside me. We both took two marshmallows and a raw meat of a deer before piercing it on the stick.

"Do you like it?" He asked after I took a bite of the roasted meat. I gave him a thumps up.

"Thank you for doing this for me.." I said with a satisfied and joyful smile. He chuckled and kissed my forehead.

"Anything for my queen.."

I woke up with tears in my eyes again, this is the 12th time this 5 months. When is he coming back? I've been dreaming about our memories for 5 months.

I got out of the bed, wore my purple slippers and took a fresh morning bath. I wore a forest green dress with yellow flower designs and went out of the house.

This always had been my routine, to go inside the forest everytime and also stay here until 5 pm. Hoping for the portal to appear and Drayce to get out of it, or I would just go inside no matter how hard it is.

I just kept walking around the borders while looking around for the portal to suddenly appear. I'm his mate, it'll come back for me, right? I don't even know for myself.

"We are already so deep inside the forest, how are we gonna get back!?" I heard a voice of someone. I immediately sniffed the air before widening my eyes. Humans?

"Seriously, we're becoming Jack and Jill, later we will find a witch's dessert house." Said a male.

"Bonehead, it's Hansel and Gretel." This time it was a female and I heard the male groan. She must have hit him.

I was too busy listening to them that I didn't realize them being near me.

"Oh look! A girl!" I heard a cute voice squeal. I widened my eyes when the 3 people were now staring at me. What am I gonna do now?

I saw the girl with a cute voice running towards me, she has dark brown hair and beautiful blue eyes. She is wearing a cute soft blue dress. She looked just like Tiana.

"Hey, are you lost too?" I heard her ask, I gave her a sweet smile.

"What's your name?" I asked her and she smiled brightly.

"I am Tiana!" She said with a happy smile that made me look at her with a surprised expression. Tiana? No, it must be just a coincidence.

"Nice to meet you, I am Evera." I replied, pinching her nose softly as she giggled.

"Excuse me, but you didn't answer the girl's question." The other girl said with a frown. I looked at her and smiled.

"Sorry about that, I live here." I answered. They all looked at each other. We don't live inside the pack house, so it is safe.

"You do? Can you help us somehow? We got lost inside the forest for 2 days. We don't have food and water anymore." The guy beside her ask. I shrugged my shoulders. I'm surprised they survived for 2 days without rogues, the paranormal and other supernatural creatures attacking them.

"Sure.. I guess." I replied, since we are not the type of people to endanger humans, besides, it's not safe for them to be here since there are rogues, bad spirits and wild animals.

I led them towards my house while I'm currently holding on to the little girl's hand. Seriously, this girl really looks like baby Tiana.

You must be wondering who Tiana is, right? Well people, she is actually Lake's lost baby sister. She was still 1 year old when she got lost. It has been 7 years now.

Lake was with me and Nixon, hunting somewhere and their parents were busy with something, that Tiana took it as a chance to wonder off, It was too late when they came back. Tiana was nowhere around the house.

We made a search but we never found her. She was a baby with full of smiles and always curious.

We stopped just outside the house and I led them inside. My mother looked at me with widened eyes before standing up.

"Evera, who are these people?" My mother asked while looking at them.

"They were lost inside the forest and they needed help." I answered and my mother nodded in understanding.

"Well, come in." My mother said and the 3 of them sat down on the couch.

My mother just went to the kitchen to give them some food and refreshments. Well, my mother is still a human, even though she's a witch. Of course, one of our ancestors just became a witch in her own and passed it to the others.

"See, told you, we will find a house, but this time it does not look like a dessert and they are not witches." The guy said with chuckle that made me poke my tongue inside my mouth.

"Are you trying to insult me by mentioning witches?" I heard the girl ask with irritation in her voice. Why would it be an insult to her?

"Calm down sassy bun. I'm not insulting the witches, even though you're just a beginner." I heard the guy said with a little chuckle.

Actually, they are just talking with a low voice, but because of my sensitive werewolf ears, I can hear them.

"Whatever." I heard her say, she's a beginner? So that's why she didn't smell magic or witchery while she also hate people that insults or talks that way about witches.
