"Sister, who are they?" I heard the little girl ask and I looked at where she was pointing.

"That's me and my two bestfriends," I answered with a smile. She nodded while still looking at the picture cautiously.

"This guy is cute like me!" She said cutely while pointing her little index finger at Lake. She let out a cute chuckle before running towards me.

"Sister, sister! I want to meet him!" She said that made me surprise. I tapped her softly.

Should I ask him to come here? I'm sure he is busy with preparing for the Ceremony tomorrow, Nixon is finally going to become an Alpha and Lake as a Beta and.. me as a Female gamma. I didn't have time to find a new replacement because of just wondering inside the forest everytime.

I just decided to mind-link him, who knows? Maybe they're having a break.

"Lake?" I mind-linked him.

"Yes Jewel?" He asked.

"Someone wants to meet you, are you free?" I asked him. He didn't reply and the mind-link was cut off. That guy is really something else.

I can hear paws outside and I also smelt Lake's scent, means he is free. He opened the door with a smile but his eyes widened when he took a look at the little girl.

"Ti-tiana? Is that y-ou?" Lake asked shakily, a tear falling down from his eyes. Both the other woman and the guy looked at each other with confusion.

"Yes, I'm Tiana! But why are crying, brother?" Tiana asked, running towards him and holding his cheeks.

I couldn't even believe it, did he feel the bond of a sibling from her? Oh my goddess!

Lake held her small hands that was placed on his cheeks as more tears began to stream down, and he Immediately hugged her tight.

"You.. You're my sister! Tiana, I miss you. I miss you so so much!" Lake cried while hugging her.

Both the woman and the other guy stood up with shock plastered in their faces. I looked at them with a serious expression before speaking.

"Who are you guys to her?" I asked them with a frown.

"We are her brother and sister." The guy said roughly. I heard a growl from Lake as she stood up and glared at the guy.

"Don't talk to her like that. And how did she become your sister?" Lake asked sternly that made the guy gulp.

"Our parents found her in this forest, wondering around, she was still 1 year old. We were camping that time and our parents decided to adopt her, she has a wristband with her name on it, so we named her after it." The woman replied calmly.

"And you didn't even think of looking for her family?" Lake asked softly with tears in his eyes, but there were different emotions circling inside while he's looking at the woman.

"She was lost in the forest with no other people but us. How could we find her family?" The woman asked with a low frown.

Lake growled, causing them to step back. The bond of a family is also as strong as the bond of a mate. But not that painful to kill you.

"What the.. who are you guys?" The guy asked terrified.

"Lake, Calm down. You're scaring them!" I scolded him and he closed his eyes before calming down, and looking at Tiana to see if she was scared, but instead, an amused expression was plastered on her face.

"Brother, Do it again!" Tiana shouted in glee. A smile formed on Lake's face as he scooped the little girl from the ground.

Lake again made a growl, but this time it was softer while caressing her cheek. Tiana giggled, but what shocked us the most was what she did next.

A soft growl of a wolf also came out of her, oh my goodness! She is still 8! You won't get to have your wolf until you are 11 or above. Unless.. you are gifted by the moon goddess. Lake also have the same surprised expression.

"Was that cute too?" She asked with a bright smile. The woman and the guy was looking at Tiana with widened eyes.

"Yes, very cute." Lake answered with a sweet voice, and he looked at me with a grateful expression. I just smiled back at him.

"Oh, brother? why did you say that I'm your sister? Am I really your sister?" The little girl asked with confusion on her voice.

"Why do you ask?" Lake asked with a soft frown. Tiana looked down while fidgeting with her fingers.

"I just never felt my family as my family, I feel that I'm too far.. I don't know why. But when I saw you in that picture.." She pointed at the picture of the three of us, "I feel something I never felt towards my family, the feeling of my blood pulling me towards you, that's why I asked sister Evera to bring you here." She said.

I almost forgot, A werewolf would always know who his or her family is by just the pull of their blood. They have the same blood, they're blood is being pulled so that's how.

Even if you are still a pup, you will already know what family you belong to. But this little girl is actually too smart.

"Yes, I am your real brother." Lake said and Tiana hugged him tight.

"Tiana.." I heard the woman trailed and Tiana looked at her with a smile.

"Are you going with them or us? Do you want to leave us? How can you leave us?" The woman asked with a soft frown.

"I heard mother and father talking last night, that they are taking me to a contest because I'm too smart. I also found out that they are very greedy of money when I said that I don't want to go to the contest, and they scolded me, and said that I won't get new toys and I won't have to eat desserts.." She said with her eyes glistening with tears and looking down.

"Was that why you ran away?" She asked, her voice getting softer. Tiana nodded.

"Yes, but I know you two are not like them.." She said with a smile.

"Oh my, Tiana. We're sorry in behalf of them. We knew that they were like that, we just didn't think that they would go that far to use you." She apologized softly.

"Can I come with him?" Tiana asked with a hopeful expression. The woman then nodded with a smile.

"And you are coming too." Lake said, looking at the woman, before she could talk.

"What do you mean?" She asked with a frown.

"You are my mate, and you are coming with me." Lake said that made me widen my eyes. So was that why there were alot of emotions swirling inside his eyes when he was looking at her earlier?

"Mate? What do you mean? Are you a mythical creature or something?" She asked with disbelief.

"I'm a werewolf." He revealed that made me shiver. Indeed a moron, How could he say that with another human with us.

"Lake, We have to talk." After saying that, I flicked my finger and stomped my feet before closing my eyes. 'obice prope firmum, firmiter prope, Durum et firmum, Ita fiat fiat.' I said inside my head and the ground shook for 2 seconds.

"Evera, Did you just make a barrier!?" My mother asked with shock.

"I'll explain later, Let me talk to Lake first." I said taking Tiana down and pulling Lake towards the kitchen.

"What were you thinking? Uncovering our secrets infront of another human?" I scolded him. He scratched the back of his head while biting his lower lip.

"I'm sorry, I'll handle it, okay?" He said and I just sighed.

"If you can't handle, you know that I should tell the Alpha, right? I'm following the rules Lake." I told him sternly. He nodded.

"I promise," I nodded at him before walking out of the kitchen with my mother waiting for me.

Lake got out of the kitchen and my mother asked me about what happened. I told her everything and she shook her head in disbelief.

"I hope he'll be able to fix it, You go there and I will finish cooking." She said and I nodded in understanding before walking towards the living room.
