"Don't get too far away, honey." I heard my father say while drinking his flower tea, I smiled at him.

"Sure, Dad. Thanks for the care." I said, waving my hands and flapping my wings before soaring up the sky while humming.

I looked around to make sure no one was following me, and I Immediately flapped my wings at a fast speed, heading towards the direction of my secret garden.

I used my magic to remove the illusion of my garden and landed inside of it, putting an Illusion in the outside before smiling in relief.

"What did you do with that magic?" I heard someone ask behind me, I turned around, only to widen my eyes and take a step back, looking at the red eyes of the demon.

"S-stay away from me!" I said, since I can't protect myself from him, because demons are more powerful than fairies. And besides, my mother told me they are Ruthless creatures who will never have mercy for anyone they see.

"Calm down, I'm just here to relax." He said, that made me freeze.

"A-are you not gonna kill me? Torture me?" I asked him cautiously, but what surprised me was him laughing his ass off, almost rolling on the ground. Did I say something funny?

"Oh my, you're very funny, why would I kill or torture you? Did you hit your head or something?" He asked, trying to steady his laughter.

"What do you mean? They said demons are ruthless creature—" I was again cut off by his booming laugh, which made me blush. What do I do?

"We only kill if we need to, We are demons, we do devour souls or buy them, but only for the willing and to those who deserves it. And we can't kill fairies, it's against the rule for my father, since fairies are also Immortals. And my father loves your land, and I now know why." He said, sitting back.

"But why are you here instead of looking at everywhere beautiful?" I asked him, calming a bit. He then gave me a warm smile that almost melted me, what's wrong with me?

"Some fairy warriors saw me and tried to catch me but I saw this place and decided to hide, I was also surprised that they didn't see me, I guess there's an Illusion for them. And besides, I'm already looking at someone beautiful." He said, chuckling a little, making me blush. He's.. alright.

"I didn't know that fairies hate demons so much, while we demons adore them because of their greatness for making everything beautiful." He said that made me feel guilty for acting like he was a monster.

"So you guys are not ruthless?" I asked, and I heard him chuckle.

"That's.. a tittle-tattle." He said, smiling mischievously, making me laugh because of his choice of words, he's not bad.

"What's your name?" I said, walking towards him and sitting beside him on the grass.

"Damiello. My name is Damiello." He introduced, lending me his hand, I took it with a smile.

"My name is Eviella.." I said, staring at his eyes while he was staring at mine. Am I falling for a demon? A demon my race and family hate?

After we met, we started to meet with each other inside my secret garden, and I do admit, I am falling in love with him. Everything my mother told us about demons were actually false.

They don't abuse their power, they only use it to do what they need to do and what they are made to do. They are quite friendly if you don't deserve to be devoured by them. funny, right?

"Where are you going?" I froze when I heard my cousin behind me. "At your secret garden again? I realized I can't open it anymore, are you hiding something from me?" I heard him add and I looked at him nervously. He knows about my secret garden, he's the only one.

"What do you mean?" I asked, trying to steady my breath.

"I know you, Eviella. You will never try to steady your breath, and your wings won't shake if you're telling the truth. So tell me what you're hiding." He asked, frowning.

I just sighed, I can't hide anything from my cousin. He knows every secrets of mine, I guess he needs to know this too.

"Okay, fine. Let's go to my Garden." I said, and he gave me a warm smile as I turned around to fly towards the garden while he was following me behind

I removed the Illusion and landed on the grass as he did the same, I then again turned on the Illusion outside.

"Demiello, I'm here." I called out and a fire appeared infront of us, and when it disappeared, Damiello's smiling face greeted me, but it soon turned into a confused expression after he saw my cousin beside me.

"Who's he?" He asked, pointing at Friollo who was frozen with his face pale as snow. You might even think he's a ghost.

"He's my cousin, Friollo." I answered and Damiello gave him a wave and a warm smile. Friollo Immediately held my hand.

"Hi, Uhm.. I want to talk to my cousin first, please excuse us." Friollo said before pulling me away, far enough where Damiello won't hear us, or at least clearly.

"A demon!? Really Eviella!? Are you fvcking insane!?" Friollo asked me, shaking his hands furiously in the air. I then held his shoulders before speaking with a serious expression.

"Listen Friollo, demons are not what you think they are, please give him a chance, my mother would do everything to kill him, and I can't.. I don't think I can handle that. I can't loose him." I said, thinking of Damiello getting killed by my mother scares me.

"You're in love with him, aren't you?" He asked, making me nervous. I just sighed slowly before nodding.

"Yes, I think I fell in love with a demon and I don't think I'll ever regret it. Please, Friollo. You're the only one I can trust." I said, making him sigh. He glanced at Damiello who was playing with a fire then at me.

"Fine, only because I can't hurt your heart. But if he tries to do anything that will hurt you, I'm not having any of it. I never even let a fly get near you." He said that made me smile.

"Thank you, Friollo. I knew I could count on you." I said and he just gave me an assuring smile.

The days went by fine, Friollo and Drayce are now good, Friollo is not scared of him anymore. Damiello also Introduced me to his parents and yeah, they accepted me, but I don't know if my mother will ever accept him.

"Eviella.." I heard Damiello call out for me softly, I hummed in response, looking at him and squeezing his hand. We are now back at my secret garden from hell, where Damiello's family is.

"We met here, you were even very funny at that time, but that was also the time and the day I realized I fell inlove with you. I just looked into your eyes, and it was as if I could see myself hugging, comforting and kissing you passionately. I could see myself loving you endlessly. I don't care if your mother hates us, because my parents loves you. So Eviella, I want to ask you, do you love me too? If you do.. can you be mine?" He asked me that made me tear up and my heart swell from happiness.

I didn't answer him, Instead I crushed my lips with his while wrapping my arms around his neck, I can feel him smile between the kiss and holding my waist.

"I knew this day would come," We broke the kiss when I heard my cousin speak from beside us with a goofy smile. A blushed crept onto my cheeks as Damiello just smiled at him.

"Were you here all this time?" Damiello asked.

"Not really, I just happen to hear your whole speech, and okay, I accept you, but if you ever dare to hurt my cousin, I swear I'll hunt you down." I heard Friollo say which made me smile. But.. our happiness didn't last long.

"How could you do this? You betrayed the Kingdom! You betrayed us! How could you love a monster? A beast? A Demon!?" My mother shout in anger.

"Mom, please! We could change this, We could make peace with them mom. I love him, please! We could work this out!" I cried, begging for my mother.

"No! You should pick! Us or him!?" My mom asked while looking at Damiello disdainfully.

"Then.. I'm sorry. I choose him.." I said, looking down while tears are pouring from my eyes.

"KILL HIM! KILL THE DEMON!" She shouted that made me widen my eyes in horror. No!

"NO!" I shouted, the arrow was about to hit him when I immediately ran to him and hugged him, causing the arrow to hit me until it reached him. It still stabbed both of us.

"Damiello, I love you until our last death.." I said while breathing heavily. Everything was still worth it, at least I am able to hug him until our death.

I saw him smile before crushing his lips into mine softly with full of love and passion.

"I love you too, Eviella, always and forever." He answered between the kiss and our souls left our body at the same time.
