ENIOLA
"Do you want me to give you a real kiss?" She smiled slyly at the man gulping below her. He wore his heart on his sleeve.
"I'm sorry. What?" He managed to stutter after looking back and forth from her large eyes to lips.
"A kiss. Last night, I was a bit drunk... Like a tiny bit drunk. This time, I'm completely sober." She smiled widely, clasping her hands behind his neck.
To say she was excited would be an understatement. She had always wondered what kissing him would be like. Just for experimental purposes.
She was used to ending up in bed with the people she made out with. It was all for fun but she knew she felt different for him that she was leaning over.
She had felt different for him all her life and the idiot— the only person she actually cared about— was too oblivious to notice.
What then was one little experimental kiss?
"Why are you overthinking this?" She giggled at his bright pink ears. "I'm not asking you to get married to me. I just want to know what an actual kiss with you would feel like." She explained and he gently brought his hands to hers and unclasped them.
"I don't think we should be doing that right now, Eniola." He answered quietly and sighed, not exactly looking at her.
"But why?" She frowned at his reluctance before pulling away from him to lean on the table.
She could see him visibly relax as she put distance between the two of them.
"I irritate you that much?" She wished she could see what was going on in his head through his steel barricaded eyes. They were impenetrable.
She wanted to know if she really made him uncomfortable.
"Of course not, Princess." He sighed. "I just... have a lot on my mind."
"Why don't you share them with me?" She asked and Tobias just had to sigh again.
"I can't tell you yet. Maybe after court tomorrow?" He suggested and she shook her head hesitantly.
"Still not enough reason why you won't kiss me." His cheeks reddened again.
"Princess..." He laughed nervously and stood up.
"On the forehead then." She decided and he stalled again before agreeing.
He stood in front of her and leaned in, almost cautiously.
"No funny games." He warned, brushing her curly hair away from her face before dropping a small peck on her forehead.
Just do the same on my fucking mouth!
"Now it's my turn." She said once he pulled away. She knew she was definitely not going to give a forehead kiss.
"Alright."
She gently held the back of his neck and dropped a peck on his... forehead. The man was smart. He had moved his head before she tried to pull another fast one on him.
"I said no funny games, Princess." He smiled wistfully putting his unnaturally white teeth on full display. The man had a certain form of purity to his beauty.
She wondered what made him decide to get tattoos, not that she minded. Apart from that, she didn't see him as any different from an angel that was literally kicked out of heaven simply because he was too hot.
"Yeah, I wasn't going to play 'funny games'." She waved it off, already plotting her next move.
She was going to get him to kiss her. She wanted to know if it would be any different from her past experienced lovers and 'experiments'.
"Of course—" He reached over to get his phone that she didn't even know was ringing. "Would you give me a second?" He asked.
"Sure." She watched as he walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind him and she groaned loudly.
Eniola had been in the house for seven consecutive days and she did not feel sick.
She usually would not spend more than two days in solitude before going to have a blast at a party or an expensive club. She wouldn't go more than three days before calling on a lover. Or at least shagging a random decent person.
Kent would be worried about her absence especially after blocking his number. She felt he was becoming too clingy. She preferred most of the people she slept with to go on with the rest of their lives.
She didn't know how to feel about being so restrained to one place.
At least Tobias was with her again. If he had never left, she wouldn't have gotten into such a mess.
She shook her head.
"Nah, it's not his fault."
Varo was right; she fucked up.
Her life was completely different from his and she had grown up with him being the only interested guardian she had.
Tobias was incredibly successful but he had a quiet reputation. With the most public information of him being his full name Tobias Izan Ferna and the name of his company. His address, escapades and wild adventures (if he had any) were unknown to the public eye. The only pictures of him were from some photoshoots and business conferences. He was the ideal role model and human. Not her.
He was risking his private life for her and now everybody would know he was associated with her once he appeared at her trial.
She suddenly felt bad.
He would need to disguise to go out in public like her. The media would be all over his face too. Just like me.
Was she overthinking like him?
Of course not.
He exited the bathroom with a relieved look on his face and she was glad that all was well.
"Good news, huh?" She asked from where she sat and he nodded.
"Yes. I will have a couple of people staying at the new house. A few of them are in New York at the moment." He answered as he dropped on the bed and stretched.
"You know," She started as she stood up from the desk that seemed too far from him and made her way to the bed. She always felt uneasy if she was not physically close to him. "You could stay here with them. I don't mind."
She too dropped on the bed and moved closer to him. Just enough for him to absently run his hand through her hair.
"I know... but having those people, me and Varo included, in your space is a little inconvenient. Even for me." She looked up and watched as his eyes fluttered shut with his hands still feeling through her hair.
He looked so relaxed. A huge contrast from the stuttering mess he was less than 30 minutes ago.
"I really don't mind. It's your house too, you know. I could just go to mine." She whispered softly, not wanting to startle his drifting self.
"I know that, Princess. I just feel it would be better if they had their own space and you still had your privacy." His words slurred and his hands stopped for a while.
"Are you sleeping?" She spoke out quietly and he shook his head.
"I'm just resting my eyes. I have a long week ahead. And probably a long month." The man answered opening his eyes for a moment and shutting it again.
Eniola had not seen anything more adorable. His pink heartshaped lips were so inviting and she couldn't help lifting herself up and pressing her lips against his.
He is going to freak out.
