After denying that he wouldn't have a favourite child a million times, Tobias' actions were the complete opposite the moment Tomiwa Rafaela Fernandez was born.

He was up and at the theatre the moment he had her cry and unlike the last time where he had to keep sitting down because he felt faint, he was the first to hold her. He didn't even pretend to not cry when he had first held the twins. It was waterworks. He had never seen something so little and beautiful.

"Girls are just different, you know?" Alvaro had told him once as he watched his daughter and Eniola sleep.

It was her last night at the hospital and the ex-lawyer could not have been any more right as he patted Tobias' back.

Alvaro had taken a direct flight from New York when he had gotten the text that Eniola was in labour and stayed in the hospital the entire ten hours.

Tobias just laughed, quickly wiping a lone tear from his face again, before putting his hand on the glass.

She was different.

Everybody knew it.

Somehow, the girl had healed something in him. Something he didn't even know was wounded. He often wondered if it was because he lost his mother so suddenly and never really had the bond he wanted with his sister. She had filled that missing part in him the very second her small hand wrapped around his finger and didn't let go.

Tobias had seen Eniola smile at him through his tears before he leaned down to kiss her on the mouth. "You deserve the world, my Queen."

And he meant it.

He had a knack for spoiling her and it was his love language and he didn't miss anything this time. She had insisted she got back to the company half a year later and the first thing he had done was get her her own jet to make her weekly flights easier.

Varo had talked on and on and preached about how it polluted the weather but when it came to Eniola, the world could burn for all he cared.

He still didn't know the right way to propose and they hadn't brought it up for two years. He was definitely going to ask but man, it suddenly became difficult. They had been together for almost ten years but popping the question was intimidating.

He still wanted it though.

"Daddy, my bow!" A small voice beside called his attention and he looked down to see his angel giving him her hair clip.

He took it and like the last time, checked if it was broken.

It wasn't.

She just had a lot of fun taking it off and making him put it back.

"Princess..." his voice was low but he couldn't get himself to chastise her. Never. "You took it off, didn't you?"

Mimi giggled and covered her face with her hands. "I'll never tell!"

He knew that line.

It was something a character from Jake and The Neverland Pirates always said. He thought the cartoon was a little advanced for her but she preferred it because it was all her brothers watched.

Tobias couldn't help but smile, playing into her tricks and clipping her bow again.

She clapped and looked around, her gray eyes wide and curious. "You said we were going to have ice-cream. Where's the ice-cream?!"

He also looked around before nodding.

"I did but you're going to promise me you won't tell mummy and the twins." Eniola would give him another lecture about spoiling her, Mu would say ice-cream caused bad teeth and Yin would raise hell until he got his own ice-cream.

Mimi gave him her hand, trying to separate her pinky finger. "I promise!"

She didn't even understand the concept of a promise.

He linked his with hers and kissed their fingers to seal the promise anyway She did the same too.

"Signed and sealed. Now we can get ice-cream. What flavour do you want?"

She clapped again as she looked at the laminated pictures on the table. "The pink one. The pink one!"

Tobias stood up as she decided.

"The pink is strawberry, Princess. I'll be right back. Don't run off" he said, kissing her forehead before leaving. The counter was right across from them and he could keep an eye on her.

Just like Yin, she could be impulsive and spontaneous.

The first time she crawled, they had searched for her all over the house before finding her sleeping under the table in Luca's favourite room.

He was tempted to put an ankle monitor on her but just settled for taking her almost everywhere with him.

As he ordered two exact sizes of ice cream, he looked over to see her focused on a Rubik's cube she had zero idea on how it worked. It was Yin's but he had forgotten it in the car that morning. She didn't want to part with it.

She immediately dropped it when she saw the small cups in front of her, reaching out for them but was stopped.

"I'm going to have to feed you. Mommy would ki— put me in the corner if you stain your dress," he said and she pouted but said nothing and just opened her mouth.

He pinched her cheek and she frowned. "Gimme ice-cream."

"You're so impatient..." he teased but scooped a toothpaste sized drop and fed her.

She scrunched up her face, her cheeks puffy before she giggled.

"It's cold!" Tomiwa exclaimed and nodded as he took a bit himself.

"Ice-cream is supposed to be cold."

"But mommy says too many cold things is bad," she countered.

"Would you like hot ice cream instead?" he asked curiously, feeding her again as he waited for an answer.

"Not hot hot. Hot cold." Funnily enough, he understood her perfectly.

"So..." Tobias said, watching as she stubbornly hooked the spoon between her teeth. "Warm milk?"

She eventually let go of the spoon and nodded. "Pink warm milk."

He thought about it for a moment.

"See that's not a bad idea," he cheered. "You're so smart, Princess."

For inventing warm milk.

She giggled again.

"I know. Mu always tells me!"

~~~
Tobias opened the door with one hand and protected her head with the other as he stepped into the house, immediately kicking off his shoes.
He had planned to stop by the school for the boys but got a text from Eniola saying she was going to pick them up since he wasn't home. She knew he had gone and broke Tomiwa out of the daycare.
He had a lot of explaining to do.
"Hey baby." He heard her voice first before she appeared in the hallway, still in her white shirt and leather pants.
It looked like she had just gotten back from her office.
"Fuego, you're back early."
She eyed her sleeping child in his arms before folding her arms over her chest. "How was Valencia?"
He also looked at Tomiwa.
"You know damn well..." he said and she rolled her eyes. "Fine, we went to get ice cream. If it does make you feel better, we bought extras too."
She still didn't look impressed but took the bag from him. "I'll put them in the fridge. Set her down for me? And take her dress off too. I don't want her playing around in it when she wakes up."
Tobias nodded as she kissed him on the cheek and left. "I love you."
"I love you too, Tobi!" she yelled from the kitchen.
He adjusted Tomiwa in his arms and went up the stairs, stopping at her room.
He lowered the temperature a bit, knowing how hot the weather had been outside. She preferred when it was cool and couldn't sleep without the AC.
Her bright blue dress had buttons on the back so it was easier to take off without waking her. She only stirred when he tucked her in with a light blanket. He turned on the monitor and promptly left the room.
"So, where'd you go?" He jumped at the sharp voice, turning to see his older twin watching him with disapproval while Casi just stood behind him with the same frown.
"Jesus Christ, Yin. You'll end up waking your sister."
"The door's locked," he pointed out, following behind his father. "Mommy said you went to buy ice-cream without us. Is that true?"
"It is." There was no need to lie.
"Why?" Casi asked, his own tone a lot more gentle and less accusing.
"I wanted ice-cream?" he answered and Alejandro nodded.
"Why would you want ice-cream?"
"Because it's ice cream?"
"I see... But why? Aren't you like 50? Mommy says cold things aren't for old people."
Tobias looked at Alejandro in disbelief.
"Eniola, your son is bullying me again!"
The boy's eyes widened and Tobias just grinned.
He was way above exchanging words with a stubborn seven year old.
"Yinka?" His mother's voice sounded from downstairs. "Come here!"
"I didn't say anything!" he protested.
"Come. Here!"
