I dressed into my black backless dress with a slit on the thigh

Wearing black heels, I get ready to go with Leah

Leah is a good friend of mine she lives in my neighborhood

She insisted I join her in an exclusive club with Daniel her date

Even though I said no that I don't wish to be the third wheel between them she insisted that I need to have some fun

We danced again on the floor while I see some couples making out others dancing crazily

" What the fuck are you doing? Where is Leah?" I said angrily when he didn't remove his hands from my body

a sour expression formed on my face I turned my head to the side

I feel hazy

Why do I feel so tipsy I didn't drink alcohol?

I gulped visibly a feeling of dread filling my senses

I don't want to end up like one of the girls in the newspaper who are assaulted and found dead in the morning

I tried to focus on my surroundings and put past the fog clouding my senses

With all of my strength, I managed to kick him in the nuts when he was distracted to take something out of his pocket

he groaned holding his crouch "You bastard" I yelled

Tears of frustration and helplessness came out of my eyes

I ran fast in the dark panicked

I tripped and fell to the ground

my legs feel too heavy

I leaned on the wall for support feeling out of breath

My eyes wide shut tremors leave from my body

I tried to stand up with the support of the wall

I walked wobbly taking a left turn at the alley

I hide behind a dumpster when I hear loud footsteps and yelling of men

I tried to calm myself

I see a group of men in black ski masks chasing behind a man whose clothes are bloodied and torn his expression full of pain as he tried to run fast holding his leg

Is he shot?

One of the men in the black mask was wearing a suit while the other wore jeans and a shirt

The man in the suit overtook the bloodied men and crashed his head mercilessly on the wall

I gasped covering my mouth

Who are these people?

Where did I get myself stuck?

They are surrounded in the whole area

Oh god please save me I promise I will listen to my parents and be a good girl always

It started raining the drops falling on the ground making the familiar sound which I love which soothes me always

But now it just increases the dread and cold

"Game over you are dead" the man who wore the suit held a gun to the bloodied man's head

"No please please don't I have kids" the wounded man pleaded for his life

"You should have thought about that before betraying boss," he said kicking the man's chest

Before he can plead anymore for his life, I hear three loud gunshots

Thud

the man fell on the ground lying dead

My breath hitched

They killed him they killed him

"Oh my god" I covered my mouth with my hand to not let out any sound

I have to get out of here before they notice me

I walked slowly backward bending my upper body so nobody can notice me

But a loud crunching sound of me stepping on a plastic bottle snapped their heads to mine

They all looked in my direction

Fuck

I ran as fast as I can in the rain my vision blurring my clothes drenched my knees bleeding from the scratches

the only thought on my mind is to get away

what if they catch me?

what if they kill me too like him?

my legs aching wanting to give in but the fear keeps me going

I see the main road as I ran yelling "someone helps me "

Even though the road is isolated and no one is here

I see headlights of the car approaching in my direction blinded by the lights I covered my face with my hands as I hear the loud sound of screeching

I breathe in a shaky gasp as I see the car on the left side of the road

my head paining all my surroundings blurred

I gulped " please, "I said softly when I hear footsteps and I know that they are going to catch me if this stranger doesn't help me

I hear the car door opening

I tried to concentrate to see his face as he stalked towards me but all I see is a tall body wearing dark blue color clothes

He stood right infront of me holding my chin with his hand

I feel a wave of dizziness hit me and I thought I will hit the ground

But his arms catch me supporting me I leaned on him his warmth seeping into my cold shivering body

"Please save me" I whispered trying hard to keep my eyes open the only thing I see is the stranger's blue eyes

He caressed my forehead whispering" don't worry "



"I will keep you safe "I hear him say before my legs give up and everything went dark



I feel him carrying me in his arms

I clutched his jacked tightly feeling safe with him

I feel his warm lips on my forehead whispering "No one can harm you

She succumbed to darkness thinking she is finally safe

but little did she know that

Running from the danger she fell right into the arms of devil
