I sit in her favourite park watching the kids play without a care in the world

Remembering the way rose eyes shine seeing kids with big smiles on their face is priceless

I chuckled with the thought of how opposite I am

Even when I was a kid

I didn't feel empathy for others

There was no trace of love in my family

We have everything that a human needs to live comfortably

But we don't have what makes us humans

My father always fed off the fear

He liked the power, liked the superiority

But that stupid man let the money get into his head

He was so immersed in fighting his enemies who tried to take him down that he forget about his wife

She was greedy for money

Cheated on him like a whore

Uh my dearest mother is a monster who killed my dad to have everything he owns

but she forgot she gave birth to a monster who is much worst than her

dad never loved me the only talks we had about were how to be the best in everything

and if I wasn't the best he beated me black and blue until I learned everything

he trained me from a young age showed me how to shoot a gun

But after my mum murdered my dad She locked me in the basement

she beated me with whips and left me in my piss for days whenever I disobey her

but she underestimated me that I couldn't do anything to stop her

I am her blood and kings never back down

working and training everyday

I promised myself that

never again in my life, I would be the one who was weak and powerless

Its either you be the prey or the predator

there is no inbetween

at the right opportunity, I killed her and gained control back

control of my life

control of the properties

There were no regrets ,no nightmares after killing her

For the world I am perfect my life is wonderful I can get anything I want

But nothing made me excited nothing gave me a purpose

Torturing someone gives me the adrenaline rush

But since the moment I saw her

I realised the feeling of warmth slowly taking place

Those eyes

There was no depravity in it, no selfishness

She is like sunshine all excited, silly, and energetic

Her moves are clumsy but so adorable

Everything about her is perfect

Everything I do is for her

she makes me feel more human

she evokes emotion in me no one has

It's like a switch plugged cause since the moment I have met her

All I think about is her

For the first time in my life

I found what I was missing

Soft hands cover my eyes snapping me out of my thoughts

I can never forget the feel of her skin on mine "Who am I" She whispered

"My girlfriend," I said grinning

She kissed my cheeks

"So, tell me why did you call me this late," she said sitting beside me on the bench

"I am going to Paris for a week "

"Hmm," she says intertwining her hands with mine

"When,?" she asks her head resting on my shoulder

I resist the urge to tell her that she should come with me

That I don't want her to be away from me ever

That I just don't want her to be my girlfriend but my wife

But I know she will freak out she needs more time

"An hour later, "I say

She raises her head "hmm okay"

"But you have to " Her phone interrupts me

"a sec "rose says picking her phone

"Hello, "she says

"is it necessary, Can't we wait for a few mins"

"Ugh fine okay." She says talking on the phone

"What happened," I asked her seeing her pouting with an annoyed look on her face

"I have to go "

"Nichole needs me it's urgent," she says a sad look on her face

"I am always with you" I caress her face

" I don't want to go "she murmurs

"Now don't act like a clingy girlfriend and go help your sister" I mocked

"What "She scoffs

"I am the clingy one, "she said raising her eyebrow

"Dante you are the one who can't stay still with your calls and what about you sneaking in my bedroom every night "

"Now don't tell me you don't like that baby girl, "I say shushing her by giving her a sloppy kiss

Her phone rings again

"Ugh I gotta go," she says in a hurry

"Bye, "she says kissing my cheeks

" Take care "she hugged me and I wrapped my arms around her small frame

Only a little force and her skin could break With my one command to my men and everything in her life can be controlled by me

But something stops me

I don't know what but maybe these three words do

I love you

"I love you "she whispers

"I love you, baby girl, "I say kissing her forehead

Rose pov

As soon as I step into my home

I see Leah and Nichole are sitting on the couch

"Rose how are you," Leah says hugging me

"I am cool you?" I replied

"Fine look I have very good news, "she says excitedly

"What, " I ask confused

"We are going to France" Nichole and Leah yell together

"But why all of a sudden," I asked chuckling

"Look I bought three tickets and I thought I should take you both and since the club incident rose and me didn't spend much time together"

The last time I went out with Leah

Things ended bad and misunderstanding happened

I thought Leah was the one who drugged me in the club

But then she told me it was Daniel plot

He gave her the bottle and she handed it to me carelessly

Cause she trusted him

she apologized and told me the truth

I don't think it's her fault that her date was an asshole.

"We can even go to the famous event which will be held there"

" Guys um, "I said but Leah cut me off

"No rose"

"You have to come with us it will be so fun"

" pretty please," Leah says giving me her cute puppy look which I couldn't resist

"Hmm okay" I agree and we all started to pack our bags

I smirk with a idea on mind I am going to surprise you, Dante

It is going to be so much fun
