Aurora

Aurora woke up to the feeling of something warm wrapped around her stomach. She stretched to ease her limbs of the tension in them and turned around, groaning. Her eyes widened in surprise to see Matteo's face only a few centimeters away from hers.

She backed away in fright but the realization that she had fallen asleep in his bed put her mind at ease. Matteo was still asleep and she was not used to seeing his peaceful face, only knowing the stoic expression he always had. He was sleeping and even during his sleep, he was still a very beautiful person.

How does someone look beautiful even when sleeping?

A small smile slowly crept onto her face as she grazed the side of his face lightly. He looked harmless as he slept, void of any negative feeling or expression plastered on his face. She slid her fingers down to his lips that were slightly parted, gently rubbing the corner of his mouth.

She gulped as she thought about how badly she wanted to lean over, just a few inches for her lips to touch his. She wanted to know how they would feel against hers, how it would feel to be kissed for the first time in her life. She wondered if his lips were soft as she stared intently at them not knowing that they were moving from the dream state she was in.

"Do you like my lips?"

She jumped away from him, startled that she had been caught watching him and touching his face like a creepy person.

"G-good morning." she stuttered as she hid her blushing face under the blanket.

She lowered the blanket to take a look at him when she heard his low chuckle.

"Morning, agnellino. Sleep well?" he asked.

Her insides were melting at the sound of his voice. He was right next to her so he spoke a bit softer, but the grogginess in his voice was what made it even more attractive.

"Mhm." she answered. "I'm sorry for falling asleep in your bed."

"It's fine. Besides-" she yelped as he tightened his grip around her waist and pulled her flush against his body. "I might like having you in my bed."

He nuzzled his face deeper into her neck, meeting the surface of her now very hot flesh. The tip of his nose brushing against her nape made it tickle and she let out a small giggle, with her cheeks set ablaze.

"Matteo?"

"Hmm."

"When were you going to tell me about your birthday?"

He looked up from his laptop and she refused to make eye contact with him. She swung her feet back and forth as she awaited his response.

He sighed. "Cordelia, hmm?"

She gave him a nod.

"I didn't think it was that important." he replied, going back to type on his laptop.

Her mouth hung open in shock. "Of course it is important. It's your birthday, Matteo."

"It never mattered to me. It was just another day on the calendar."

"But you're supposed to celebrate your birthday. It's a day to celebrate your birth. Cordelia said that she throws you a party every year, she must be doing that this year as well."

He sighed. "I never said she needed to do that for me."

Aurora looked at him confused. "Of course she would, she is your sister. She only wants to make your day special out of love."

"That is sweet but really, parties are not my thing."

"She will definitely plan another party for you this year."

"I need to hide then, hmm?" he said with as much sarcasm dripping in his tone. He didn't even bother to look at her as he typed away on his laptop.

She was shocked by how much he really didn't care about his birthday or the fact that his sister goes out of her way to throw him a special party for him. She felt a bit hurt for Cordelia to know that Matteo doesn't appreciate what she has done for him, especially since she is his sister.

If she was Cordelia, she would have done the same for her brother to want to brighten his day. It's a pity Cordelia had a brother who doesn't care about anything and wouldn't even spare a day to appreciate his family. He is taking the things he have for granted and she didn't like it.

She also didn't understand why this man wouldn't want to have a birthday party. He could have at least shown some excitement for his upcoming birthday. Then again, Matteo being excited in a sight that she would die to see.

She shook her head in disappointment.

"What's that pout for, agnellino?" she heard him ask.

She crossed her arms over her chest and didn't bother to look at him, much less answer his question. She was angry at him.

"Aurora?"

She didn't look at him.

"Aurora, I'm not going to ask again." he said, a bit more demanding.

She almost caved in, but decided against it and continued to stare at the floor. For some reason, a childish part of her brought her to this act to disobey him but that was his fault for being mean and not seeing how mean he was. He was supposed to think about how he sister must feel but he couldn't even take that into consideration.

She heard the sound of the chair scraping against the floor as he moved it backwards, indicating that he had gotten out of his seat. Her heart started beating faster with every footstep she heard getting closer to where she was seated, in front of his desk.

His dress shoes were in her view as she continued to look at the floor, questioning why she had ever thought to put up this act of disobedience in the first place.

"Aurora, look at me." he said.

She clutched the hem of her skirt tightly as she continued to look down.

"Look at me." he raised his voice.

She shook her head, it wasn't very visible, her action, but she did it. "You're being inconsiderate and I-"

She gasped as his hand grasped her chin which harshly forced her head to tilt up for her eyes to lock onto his ones. She gulped as she trembled at the raging look on his face.

"Look at me as you say those words." he said, staring at her intently.

She opened her mouth to speak but it seemed that her voice had betrayed her, not leaving her mouth. She had no idea of what progressed this moment to occur between them but deep down in her there was a small tinge of defiance coursing right in her body. She, in some twisted way, liked the way he was when he behaved like this with her.

There was something that she knew was there and hopefully he did too. A strong hidden to the eye pull that she so desperately never wanted to let go of. That fire ignited in her as Matteo's dark gaze burnt holes through those of her green orbs.

He squeezed her jaw, but not enough to hurt her. "Speak to me, Aurora or I swear I will fucking spank it out of you."

Her breath hitched in her throat. The brutality of his words and the weight of his dominance was enough to have her body be caught in flames. They were raw with spits of emotion embed with bad words that she would close her ears to, but it was too much of a delicious effect for her to ignore.

"S-spank?" she stuttered.

"Spank." he repeated. "You are tempting me too much right now, Aurora."

"Why?" she asked.

"For being disobedient. You aren't my sweet girl, now aren't you?" he spoke to her so softly as he caressed her jaw with his thumb.

She quickly nodded her head, disagreeing with his last question. "I am. I'm sorry, Matteo. I'm sorry for not being good."

He clenched his jaw as she apologized to him, and she wondered if she had upset him with her apology.

"Did I upset you?" she asked him. "I didn't mean to. I promise to-"

He released a shaky breath before saying, "Come here."

He nodded his head after he released his hand from her jaw. He walked over towards his chair and he sat back on it, his eyes now focused on her. She swallowed as she slowly rose up from her seat, her head cast down as she walked towards him with tentative steps.

She stood in front of him, looking at him through her lashes as she wondered why he had called her over. He was leaning against the backrest of his chair, his legs spread a bit apart.

"Do you think you're a good girl, Aurora?" he asked her.

She bit her lip, slowly nodding her head. His eyes narrowed at her clearly disliking her lack of words.

"Use your words."

"Yes." she replied softly.

"You will do as I say, yes?"

"Yes."

There was a pause between them. They watched each other, both with equal strong intent of observation. She wanted to read his motive as he planned his next move in his head.

She saw his Adam's apple bob up and down as he gulped.

"Bend over my knee."

I am so sorry for being inactive, I'm a terrible author :(

If this chapter seemed a bit too fast paced then I apologize because I was so in a rush to at least update something for you all.

I promise to make the next chapter way better than this.
