" can we go to Walgreens or something real quick? " Janessa asked as they were on the way back to the house.

They had all been in four different suvs and in this one it was Joseph, Jeremy, Their Grandpa, Simon, Katherine and Janessa.

" Why? " Joseph asked looking at her through the rear view mirror.

" Be nice.. " Janessa said in her head and took a deep breath.

" because there's something I need from there, please " she said and he made a right instead of going left.

As she stared out the window she couldn't help but to feel nauseous and have stomach cramps.

" this better be my period because if it isn't I'm going to cry " she thought and her phone rang.

She quickly answered it and before she could fully say hello or something rude the person on the other line did.

" we'll be coming for you.. all of you " the unknown voice said and it hung up.

She looked at her phone confused and called the number back only for it not to answer.

" weird ass shit " she thought and continued staring out the window.

When they got to Walgreens she quickly got out and put her hood on.

She turned around to make sure none of them followed her and luckily they didn't so she quickly went to the medicine area.

She searched the aisle until she found what she needed and grabbed three of them.

She walked to the person and she scanned them quickly putting them in the bag.

" congratulations " the lady said.

" um thanks " Janessa said grabbing the bag and put it in her jacket pocket.

She quickly rushed out so she wouldn't have a conversation and got back in the car.

" thank you " she said and Joseph nodded before pulling off.

When they got to the house Janessa quickly ran upstairs before anybody could say anything.

" Murder? " Jeremy asked.

" leave it alone " Katherine said walking away to the stairs.



When I got to my room I locked the door and quickly went to the bathroom.

I'm so glad I have to pee right now.

I grabbed the bag out of my pocket and began the process of elimination.

I got up and washed my hands and my mind wandered off to that call.

Who is " all of you " and how'd they get my number..

I could track the number- duh.

I grabbed my phone and went to my laptop on the bed and unlocked it so I could try to trace it.

There was a knock on the door and I quickly closed my laptop before going to the door.

When I opened it I was surprised to see Jamie.

" murder? you don't look capable of that " he said and I rolled my eyes.

Clearly he's underestimating me.

" aww sucks to be me " I said sarcastically.

" you're not as innocent as you seem are you? " he said which sounded like a question.

I shrugged my shoulders and he folded his arms.

" may I help you? " I asked and he shook his head no.

" well i'm going to go back to checking my emails, have a good night " I said and went to close the door but he stopped it.

" dude " I said angrily.

" I'm sorry " he said and I looked in his eyes- it wasn't as genuine.

" cool " I said and closed the door.

I don't want a fake apology.

< time skip to the next morning >

I woke up to my alarm going off and I quickly turned it off before getting up and going to the bathroom.

I ran my water and my eyes landed on the test that I forgot to check.

Please don't be positive..

I hesitantly grabbed it and turned it around to see one line.

Yes! Thank you god because I didn't plan on giving Serenity a sibling any time soon- sorry if it seems selfish.

When I got out I did my morning routine per usual and put my clothes on.

I grabbed my phone off the desk and looked at the time to see I had like twenty minutes so I put my AirPods in and made sure I had everything before leaving the room.

When I got to the kitchen almost everyone was there- so assuming they normally wake up around this time.

" Good morning " Katherine said and they also started saying it.

" good morning " I said back and went to the refrigerator.

I grabbed some frozen strawberries and pineapple along with pineapple juice and cran mango so that I could make a smoothie.

" Did you sleep well? " Sarah's dad asked and I rolled my eyes.

" yes I did, did you? " I asked and he hummed in response.

A phone rang and I knew it wasn't mine because I was playing music.

" what is it? " sperm donor asked coldly.

" how? " he asked.

" sarò lì tra trenta minuti, continuerò a torturarlo e forse parlerà " he said and I started putting the stuff in the blender. ( I'll be there in thirty minutes, continue to torture him and maybe he'll talk )

" are you done? " i asked turning around and looked at him.

" yes " he said and I started the blender.

" no! why so much noise " Kevin groaned with sunglasses on.

" you'll live " I yelled over the blender and turned my music up.

I guess I'll be there the whole day since I left early.

" hey how come you always wear long sleeves? " Vanessa asked and I ignored her.

Clearly scars and tattoos stupid.

I quickly put my smoothie in the cup and washed the blender cup out before walking out.

I walked in the cafeteria and saw the group from Monday and the Daniela girl waved me over.

I walked over to them and quickly sat down.

" is Amelia not here? " I asked looking beside me.

" no she has a doctors appointment " jace said and i nodded.

" We have a project in social studies and you're me and mason's partner " Daniela said.

" who the arrogant asshole? " I asked sarcastically.

" hey that arrogant asshole is my brother, but sadly I agree with you " Alice said.

" Damn sorry " I said and she waved it off.

" where are your two best friends? " Kara asked.

" they went back home but Stephanie should be back in a few days " I said and they nodded.

" You know what I was thinking- we should form our own small gang " Alice said excitedly.

" what? " Daniela asked.

" we're already part of the underworld.. " Alice said trying to sound convincing.

" I don't know any of you like that so i'll pass on that " I said and stood up.

" where are you going? " Anthony asked.

" to go get food of course " I said giving him a fake smile and walked away.

I don't eat school food because I don't know what's done with it but then again you don't know what's done with fast food either.

You know what- i'm going to just start cooking more often. After all I did forcibly learn.

" JANESSA WAIT! " I heard Sarah yell and I turned around to see her running to me.

" Where are you going? " she asked catching her breath.

" to get food, wanna come? " I asked and she nodded.

" where at? "

" I'll know when I get there " I said and with that we walked out of the cafeteria.

" we have to run " Sarah said and I grew confused.

" what why- " I started and got cut off by a yell.

" HEY! WHERE ARE YOU GIRLS GOING? " the principal yelled.

" that's why " she said and we ran out the door.

" are we not allowed to leave during lunch? " I asked as we ran to my car.

" sometimes but your dad makes sure that the principal tells him everything we do which is weird but oh well " she said trying to catch her breath and we got in the car.

" oh well " I said and quickly turned the car on.

" you're a bad influence at this point " she said jokingly.

" aww that's cute " I said and we pulled off.

We actually ended up getting Taco Bell and we stayed in the parking lot and ate.

This may have my stomach hurting later but eating it now is worth it.
