A few hours later..

< HENRY'S POV >

I woke up to beeping and I opened my eyes only to close them due to a bright light.

" Henry! " I heard my girlfriend cry out and a few seconds later there was a weight on me.

I slowly opened my eyes confused and looked around.

" are you okay? " she asked.

" what do you mean? " I asked groaning.

" the neighbors found you " she said and everything started coming back to me.

The being drugged.. the small fight.. the being shot..

Serenity!

I quickly ripped the IV out of my hand and sat up ignoring the pain in my shoulder.

" baby what are you doing? " she asked.

" I need to find my child" I said getting off the bed.

" babe you just got shot! " she said and I looked at her in disbelief.

I need to go see Janessa...

" I need you to take me somewhere " I said seriously.

" sure " she said.

< time skip to when they get there >

We got to the gates and surprisingly there were no guards so I took it as my chance to hop the gate which hurt my whole arm area.

I quickly ran to the door and knocked on it hard for a few seconds.

Eventually someone opened the door and I didn't know who it was but that didn't matter.

" I'm a friend of Janessa's and it's a emergency! " I said and the girl looked at me confused.

" PLEASE! " I yelled and she let me in.

" JANESSA! THERE'S SOMEONE DOWN HERE FOR YOU! " she yelled and walked away.

I quickly grabbed my phone and called her and on the first ring she answered.

" what- " she started.

" come downstairs " I said and hung up.

I was anxious, worried, upset, angry, guilty about all of it.

A few seconds later I saw Janessa quickly coming downstairs and my heart dropped.

She finally looked this way and her eyes wandered around and she ran up to me.

" what's going on? where's serenity? why are you here? " she asked quickly.



Silence.

That's what I was given..

" Answer me " I said seriously.

" they took her " he said and my heart dropped.

" who? " I asked feeling myself panic and he didn't reply.

" ANSWER ME WHO THE FUCK TOOK HER?! " I yelled probably louder than I would think.

" I don't know, some men came to the house and- " he started.

" WHY DID YOU GO THERE?! I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE AFTER YOU DROPPED ME OFF! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU? " I yelled and started crying.

" I know and it's all my fault " He said with tears falling.

" YES IT IS! I KNEW SHE SHOULD'VE STAYED WITH ME! HOW DID THEY GET HER?! " I yelled.

" I went back to get her favorite toy and a gun for protection " he said and i scoffed.

" BUT THAT DOSEN'T EXPLAIN HOW SHE WAS KIDNAPPED!! " I yelled stepping closer to him.

" she was sleeping so I left her in the car and quickly went to get the stuff.. " he said and I looked at him like he said the most stupidest thing in the world because he did.

" I HATE YOU! GET OUT! " I yelled pushing him away.

They heard yelling and started to come out of their rooms looking at each other curiously.

Vanessa had already been downstairs because she opened the door so she slightly listened in.

They walked downstairs and Joseph spoke.

" what's going on? " he asked and Janessa ignored him.

" have you been back to the house? " Janessa asked with her voice breaking.

" cuando la recupere ella vendrá conmigo " she said after he shook his head no. ( when I get her back she will come with me )

" I never wanted to experience this " she said under her breath.

" leave " she said and he looked at her with so much hurt and guilt.

" LEAVE! " she yelled walking to the door and opened it.

He slowly walked to the door and gave her one last look before leaving and she quickly slammed the door.

But her eyes never left the door.

She was in too much shock to process it.

After a few seconds she turned around to see everybody looking at her.

" WHAT? " she yelled and walked up to the stairs and bumped into most of them as she walked by.

When she got to her room she grabbed a pillow, went in her closet and screamed into the pillow.

She didn't hear it but her phone went off with a text.

< UNKNOWN POV >

" Phase 1.. complete " I said as I sent the text.

" AND WILL SOMEBODY SHUT THAT BABY UP?! " I yelled to one of my guards because that child was full on screaming.

She's interrupting my peace.

" well who's fault is that " the voice in my head said.

I took in a deep breath and my phone rang.

" What is it? "

" We just left their house " my daughter said lowly.

" Did you go in? " I asked.

" No but he came out crying so i'm assuming it didn't go well " she said and i nodded although she couldn't see me.

" good now try to convince him " I said and hung up.

Was I wrong for bringing her in this? Maybe.. but she's kind of a sociopath so why not.

" Boss I know we kidnapped her child but how exactly will we get to her? " my guard asked me.

" trick her " I said simply.

" it's not that simple, she'll know something is up.. " he trailed off.

" then what do you suggest? " I asked seriously.

" give her the child back, or you do realize that she'll do anything for her child so if you want her use the child " he said.

" Get out " I said and he quickly left.

That's actually not bad..

OR we can attack their house and catch them off guard.

But do they even know about the child..



I quickly changed my clothes and grabbed a few knives and guns to strap to my body.

I looked at my phone and saw a message from a unknown number.

Unknown Number: A little sooner than you expected right?

I grew angrier and I didn't even think it was possible to.

I grabbed my laptop and quickly left the room but not before making sure everything was put away and locked.

When I got downstairs I saw that some of them were still there but some weren't.

My eyes probably looked bloodshot red but I don't care how they view me- especially when it comes to my daughter.

They looked at me curiously and I glared at them.

" Janessa is everything okay? " jazmine asked.

" Who wants to take me somewhere? " I asked looking at them and ignoring her question.

" Where? " Jeremy asked.

" JUST COME ON! " I yelled at him angrily.

" calm down " he said and I so desperately wanted to kill him.

" HOW COULD YOU TELL ME TO CALM DOWN AT A TIME LIKE THIS?! " I yelled although he doesn't know what's going on.

" I'll find my own damn ride " I said and ran out of the house.

I quickly pulled my phone out of my pocket and called for an Uber- luckily there was one five minutes away.

This is my fault.. and if something happens to her I'll never forgive myself.

I started walking to the gate which took only about a minute and I had to threaten to hurt the guards because they said sperm donor didn't want me leaving.

When I got out out the gate I sat my laptop down and put my hair in a high ponytail before picking my laptop back up.

While i waited i opened my laptop and looked at the security footage from the house.

Okay so a black suv, that doesn't help me at all.

I watched as the person smashed the window and reached in the inside.

I can't clearly see their face but I think it's enough for me to find them off facial recognition.

A horn was honked and I quickly ran to the car.

" thank you " I said quickly and the person hummed in response.

" you're Janessa Riley right? " he asked and started to pull off.

" yes " I said turning off my laptop.

As we drove something felt off so I pulled out the gun from my waist and sat it on the floor that way I could quickly grab it.

It was off because besides us and this other car there was no one else on the street.

The light turned red and we stopped only for random car lights to blind the vision of us from the back.

It's like everything happened so fast..

The sound of glass breaking.

The gunshots.

The pain in my body.

I slowly grabbed my gun and shot back many times only for my gun to get stuck.

I slowly got out and somebody came from behind me and choked me with a wire.

I head butted the person and they groaned and loosened their grip so I pulled it off and elbowed whoever it was in the stomach.

I grabbed my knife and slit his throat which made him fall.

Two more came to me and although my vision started getting blurry I threw the knife at one's neck and pulled my gun out for the other one.

" GET BACK! " I yelled and shot him.

I felt a sharp pain on my shoulder and it seemed like everything started to slow down.

I felt myself fall and the last thing I saw was my vision getting blurry.
