Ashlynn's POV-
With that bullet, it felt like my whole world came crashing down in front of me.
William turned back towards me with a sickly sweet expression and kept the gun away.
"Well, now that we do not have any leverages in the way, let's begin shall we?" He asked in a mocking polite tone.
All I could see was red, my body shaking with anger, pain and guilt.
The last time I felt like this, was when this guy right here tortured my best friend to death and made me watch the entire thing.
I lodged towards William, my fists clenched so tight and my nails digging into the skin hard enough to draw blood, and punched him rapidly.
After a few punches, he grabbed my fist and twisted my arm backwards.
I grabbed his arm from my other hand and twisted it hard enough to dislocate it.
He let out a cry of pain and I kicked him in the ribs.
He fell to the ground and pulled my leg, bringing me to the floor as well.
We both immediately got up. He took out a knife and threw it towards me.
I caught it and threw it right back. He got aside at the last second, causing the knife to greeze his neck and go by.
He ran towards me and kicked my feet from under me, thinking I'd fall.
But I grabbed his shoulder and jumped over them, wrapping my legs around his neck.
I held him in a chokehold for a while, cutting off his air supply and seeing him struggle.
Then I pulled out my hidden knife from my boot and stabbed him in the stomach.
He fell to the floor, breathing heavily and coughing out blood.
"You can't do this. You're too weak." He said slyly while coughing.
I went over and wrapped my arm around his neck from behind and kept my knife on his neck.
"You shouldn't have done that" I whispered to him and sliced his throat.
He fell to the floor, blood pooling out of his throat and stomach.
I would have loved to see him suffer a little more, but I just wanted to kill him at the moment and if I had to wait a moment longer, I swear I would have gone on a killing spree.
I dropped the bloody knife on the floor and ran towards Chris.
All of his clothes were covered in blood and he was laying on the floor, unconscious. At this point I didn't even know if the blood was mine or his.
I dropped to my knees by his side and took his hand. Tears were pooling in my eyes and I let them fall this time.
"Please please don't leave me. I'm so sorry. I'm the worst daughter ever. Please forgive me and come back" I kept muttering repedly, but it sounded more like whimpering.
Tears were flowing out of my eyes like a freaking waterfall, and I just felt broken.
Inside and out.
My whole body hurt and was screaming at me in agony, but it was like I knew the pain was there but couldn't feel it.
All I could feel was the excruciating pain in my chest, the guilt that I couldn't save him, the emptiness and the numbness.
I tightly held onto his hand and sobbed quietly.
I gently put my fingers on his neck, looking for any sort of pulse by any miracle.
Imagine my shock when I actually found it. A very light one, but definitely there.
I traced my hand along his chest, where the bullet wound was and found a very light and thin bullet proof vest.
This BITCH.
I swear if he was concious at the moment, I would have killed him myself for scaring me like that.
I quickly yelled for backup and emergency medical teams into my comms and wrapped as many of his wounds as I could.
But I couldn't do a lot though as I was having a hard time not passing out myself, all the pain and tiredness finally catching up on me.
I heard the door open behind me and immediately straightened up, my hand reaching for my dagger.
Alfie's POV-
Back at the house, the lights went off and everything became dark. Everybody started panicking and dad went out to check what was wrong.
When he found out that nothing was wrong and all the electric connections were just fine, we realised that we were under attack and Lucian activated the emergency alarm.
Everybody started panicking and I tried to calm them down, but I was quite panicked myself.
They all had their guns at the ready, and so did I and Jeremy.
Charlotte started screaming and crying, because of the dark and the guns in everybody's hands, which were visible by the little light coming from the windows.
Please somebody make her shut up before my ears start to bleed.
I wondered where Ashlynn was though. I haden't seen her since the conversation with our cousin William.
Even then, she looked to be a little on the edge and when I put my hand on her shoulder, she immediately tensed up.
I'm not sure why and I haven't seen her since.
I've never had a good feeling about William, but everybody else in the family seems to adore him.
He's grandpa's favourite, Jeremy looks up to him, and dad always uses him as an example of success.
Nobody even knows what his business is. We've asked him a couple of times at our family gatherings and meetings, but it's like he changes the topic or answers something random and moves on to the next conversation.
I personally think that's quite suspicious but can't say anything about it, because I know for a fact that nobody will believe me.
I think Ashlynn might. But then again, she barely knows the guy and doesn't even want to talk to me.
After a few minutes, I noticed a weird smell and soon, everybody passed out.
I woke up and found myself tied, sitting on the ground with many others.
But I couldn't see their faces as we all had a sack like thing covering out faces, with one hole in front of our each eye.
We could see everything clearly but couldn't say anything because of the duct tape covering out mouths.
I looked around, trying to figure out who was in the room.
In the middle of the room, some of our guards and drivers were tied up. Their faces weren't covered and they looked like they'd been in one hell of a fight.
In one corner of the room, three kids were tied down. They looked to be 12-13 and scared shitless.
The people sitting besides me are most probably the whole family.
I don't understand who'd have the guts to kidnap an entire mafia and then just tie them up in a room.
Who could even have done such a thing?
I was thinking about all the possible things when the doors to the room opened and a few guards came inside the room.
When the stepped aside, I saw-
Wait what-
What the fuck-
WILLIAM?
Alright I always had my suspicions about this guy and never liked him, but I didn't know he kidnapped people-
Not to mention the CHILDREN he has tied down-
My eyes widened as he moved to the centre of the room.
He had a sort of smile on his face that villians have in the movies when they think they've won.
Yup, it's official. I'm creeped out.
"You know how you guys have always wanted to know what my real business was?" He began, while walking towards us.
Yeah, this is definitely the whole family.
"Well, guess you'll find out today. But not before we have a little fun ofcourse" he smiled creepily.
None of us could respond as we had our mouths taped and hands, legs tied. Or atleast I did, not sure about the others.
William walked over to Charlotte, or atleast I'm guessing it's Charlotte from the multiple bracelets she's wearing.
"Well, let's see if you're any good like you're sister."
Wait what? Sister? Is he talking about Ash?
He grabbed Charlotte's arm and took out a knife from his back pocket and pressed it against her arm. It was hard enough to draw a little blood, but not enough to cause any serious injury.
I heard her muffled screams and crys, and her struggling against the ropes that were tying her down.
Why would he compare her to Ash and then hurt her?
I had a million questions running through my head, while William kept digging the knife deeper, and a few others were struggling against the ropes and chains tying them down and their muffled voices saying to let her go.
"Gosh shut up. You should seriously learn something from your sister" he looked at her, annoyed.
"The death squad will come for you. They hate people like you." Elijah, one of our guards spat angrily.
William looked amused and walked towards him.
"And why would they come for me? They don't even know me little man. They probably have more important stuff to do than save your pathetic assess." He smirked.
Just as he said that, the door burst open again and there stood a guy, he had a good built and was about 6'3 tall.
Beside him stood a girl, rather short, in a uniform as well.
Holy shit I recognise these uniforms.
No fucking way.
The DEATH SQUAD. Holy jesus-
They made a totally badass entry, and after a while the Black Flower started fighting our oh so dear cousin who just kidnapped us.
She immediately ducked while grabbing her partner before William even had a chance to injure them.
Damn she got some reflexes there.
Her voice sounded similar for some reason, but I couldn't place why, my brain still being fuzzy from just waking up.
I've always known that William is a great fighter, but gosh he actually fights better that he shows.
A while later, The Black Flower had him pinned down on the ground, and he looked to be in a shit ton of pain.
Woah I've never seen him loose a fight like- ever-
But William pushed her off and shoved her into the wall and ran out the door in the fastest Speed he could muster.
She got up within a minute- wait that's not healthy. She probably has a concussion or worse as the crash was pretty bad.
But in the process of her getting up, her cracked mask fell off and she cursed under her breath.
She turned and looked around the room, not dwelling on the mask for too long.
That's when I saw her face.
Wha-
WHAT THE FREAKING FUCK.
Wait what-
What even-
How's that possible-
What no-
Ashlynn.
How is that even possible. She's just 16 and- oh my god there is no way in any fucking world out there that my baby sister is THE Black FLOWER.
Ok this is too much. First we get kidnapped by our psychotic insane cousin and then my little sister turns out to be the most feared assassin in the world and a part of the most dangerous and powerful group in the universe.
Yeah no, this better be a dream.
I blink a few times, making sure what I'm seeing is real.
She walked over to the guards and untied them while talking to two of them. Elijah and Ryder.
They responded to her by saying 'boss'. Wow they've been undercover spy's all this time. Man we really need a security upgrade.
She gave them orders just like a Mafia Boss that I just found out she is and told Ryder to get to the medical vans.
She's a Donna at such an early age and a damn good one that is. Dad and all of our siblings look up to the death squad all the time and finding out that our youngest sister is the person we've been afraid for our lives of..... Well it's definitely hard news to digest.
But a part of me feels so proud. So proud that my sister has gained so much respect and success on her own.
She's so young but already independent, fearless and runs a whole damn Mafia all on her own.
This actually explains a lot of things. Like how she knew about us being the Americans, the Spanish, the Black Don.
And how the whole death squad denied his offer when she said no.
I know she doesn't want to talk to me -not that I don't deserve it- but it can't stop me from feeling as proud as I am right now.
After a few minutes, Elijah came back again to get us out, just like Ash told him to.
He untied all of us and everybody looked as stunned as ever.
Charlotte's eyes were red and puffy, and everybody looked like they'd just seen a ghost.
Elijah guided us out towards the exit, but before we left the building, I realised that Ash was still in the building, probably fighting William right now.
Even if she's the Black Flower, she still looked pretty beat up and not very well back there, so she probably needs all the help she can get. She also shouldn't have to fight alone, no matter how much strength she has.
Without a second thought, I sprinted towards the other direction. I heard my Family's yells and shouts for me to come back, but I needed to be there for my sister.
If I need to make things right, might as well start right now.
After walking down a few hallways, I heard faint sobbing coming from behind one of the doors.
I opened the door cautiously and there she was.
She was on the floor, holding the hands of somebody.
Even though her back was to me, I could almost feel her sadness and pain.
I've never seen her show any emotions towards anybody except her friends, and even that is just a smile or a laugh.
But seeing her so...... broken like this, it just breaks my heart and makes me want to hug her and tell her that everything will be alright.
I slowly walked towards her, and her shoulders immediately stiffened, her hand reaching towards her leg, where I'm guessing she had a weapon hidden.
Towards the side, I saw William's dead body on the floor with the throat sliced.
Well damn I guess she's stronger than I imagined her to be.
I quitly walked towards her and took a seat on the ground besides her.
In front of her, layed the body of the man she found in our interrogation rooms. The one she called her father.
He looked pale and severely injured. But if you look closer, Ash looked even more worse.
Several dark spots on her suit could be spotted, indicating blood patches.
Her hands were covered in blood as well and I wasn't even sure about who's blood it was. Not to mention the concussion and internal damages she might have from the fight back there.
Her body seemed to relax a little when she saw it was me, but was still on high alert and I was sure that she'd be ready to take out anybody who tried to sneak up on her.
She looked pail and tired, and for the first time, emotions were visible in her eyes.
But not the ones I would have liked to see.
Her eyes were filled with pain and guilt.
