Jaden eyes widen. Marian Satchel?

Who is Marian Satchel? She is an elegant woman that gives his father a soft smile every time he gives her a moment of his time. Elizar watches his 'mother' eats envy when Marian's around.

Marian Satchel always wear her best when meeting Drake. Though Drake never married either her or Elian, Drake still favored Marian a little, atleast thats what Elian says.

Cody is also like her. Cody always look like a real prince in Elizar's eyes. And Cody is a very easy to love child. He looks happy infront of the Duke but when he was not around, Cody looks like a withering child.

"You are lucky." Cody used to say when they were little.

He never understand. But when he grows a bit older, he learns that Cody is not biologically the Duke's son and whatever he does, only Elizar can inherit the title of the Duke. But Cody never hates him. He always been thankful.

"Thanks to the Duke, I can have a happy life. He treated me the same as he treats you, only, ofcourse, he could love you more but that's okay with me. Sadly, Mom doesnt want that. She wants me to be the Duke's real son." Cody used to laugh wryly and helplessly.

"It was her fault."

I told him that one day. Because I can see some wounds increasing under his sleeve day by day.

Cody looks at Elizar with tears in his eyes but he never let it fall. He played it off with his laugh and Elizar let him be. They played together.

It was Cody's 13th birthday that Duke cried carrying Cody's dead body out of the tub. That made Elizar realize that Marian Satchel is a cruel person. To push his son with a good future.....into suicide.

He can still hears Elian giggling as they attend his funeral. "From now on, you will be the only son. That supposedly the right thing from the start."

Elizar feels coldness of his mother laughter for the first time.

Cody's death, Marian Satchel uses it to get closer to the Duke. The Duke is not a foolish man but he thought Marian is whole heartedly heart broken and accompany her. To lose a son, the Duke who loves Cody, thinks if it was him who is just an adopted father can feel the pain then a real mother will be so devastated, so Marian successfully plotted to have a night with the Duke.

Elizar and Elian learned of it the next day thanks to the dark face of the Duke. Duke never let Marian near him again. And thats when Elian got the idea of plotting with aphrodisiac too.

Elizar felt disgusted and the image of a kind, elegant Marian Satchel in his heart shattered. He feels that Marian dirtied Cody's death. His brother's death.

Facing Marian right now makes Elizar...No Jaden repulsive. Why is this woman trying to antagonized them? She should be busy with Cody . Cody only transform in his human form when he reach 5 years old.

"I heard you have an amnesia? It turns out nothing is real coming out from that mouth." Marian grins.

"Leave us alone Marian. What do you want?" Elian glares at her. All his attention is how to let his son escape while buying time.

Marian chuckles. "What's wrong? Trying to think of a way to buy time? Men, get them!"

"Marian Satchel! It was your plot that killed your own son! This has nothing to do with my son, atleast let him go!" Panic, Elian hugs Jaden tightly.

Marian face was twisted in rage. "Has nothing to do?! You, I will kill your son in front of you and send you two's dead body to the duke! Because of you...I can never give birth again...My poor baby...He could have a lot of opportunities...He could do alot more. He shouldn't have died." Marian sobs and her body trembles.

Jaden eyes widen. Because those words are familiar. Those words he keeps saying in his head...While looking at the coffin of Cody. 'Cody, you have a bright future...You shouldnt have died'

"Even in this life...You will never stop using Cody." Jaden feels disgusted. Cody should not experience Marian's 'love'. Any love is better than hers.....then he remembered the other Elian...He wants to laugh.... Cody and Elizar are dead now, thanks yo their mothers. In their next life, they shouldnt be a mother.

He is Jaden.. And Jaden's mom will not be the same as that sorry excuse of a person.

He hoped Cody will have a rebirth too, where he can have a loving mother that will love him unconditionally.

His voice was covered by the Elian's scream and the mermens shout. They were toss in another spacecraft.

Hugging his mother, Jaden looks at Elian's pale face.

"She could have taken me alone instead. She is too cruel. What will she do to you? My poor son. Where is Drake when you need him! Stupid man. It was all his fault." Elian sobs and hugs Jaden tenderly in his arms. Tears falling his eyes. Fearing to see his son's safety the most.

"Mom... You remember Dad?" Jaden smiles. "Is he good to you?" Jaden wants to know. Though they are in a pressing situation, Jaden wants to dream. Of a happy family.

Elian smiles and wipes his tear. He touches Jaden's face that resembles Drake more than his.

"Your father is not the very romantic man. He can anger Mom in one sentence and another. Infuriating me to the core. But he too will say words I want to hear the most. He is a sweet guy." Elian blushes. "We are suppose to get married before you were born. We are so excited to meet you." Another tear slides down from the corner of his eyes to his chin. "But that woman! Marian Satchel!"

Jaden is listening quietly but slowly his eyes stilled. Marian Satchel?

"What's wrong Mom? Are you saying she is behind the pirates scheme?"

Elian rubs his cheek. "Im not sure about the pirates. But the reason why we are in that plane is because of Marian's plot. Marian learns that Clara and I become friends in a tea party. She contacted Clara's husband which is a direct subordonate of her father and threatened him. Clara invited me to her home planet to ride horses and have a simple farm life and I agreed. Clara confessed to me while riding the space craft that Marian wants me to lose you. But Clara is helpless and guilty. Her conscience cant take it and confess everything. She said she will also become a mother and tell her she never told her husband yet. She said she will divorce him." Elian rubs Jaden's head. "I was hurt and shocked. I cant forgive her even if she begs me. I planned to return home the moment we land in the airport. I will never accept anything that will harm you. But we got hijacked in the air and everything happens so fast. She blocked a bullet for me. Asking me to forgive her one last time. It was painful. I...She is pregnant, and she dies for me.....It wasnt even her fault." Elian hugs Jaden.

Jaden pats his back. Jaden is certain. Marian is an evil woman.

Drake crushes the arm rest he was sitting.

"You said their space craft was intercepted in the border of Planet Ash and Planet Ash wants to tell me that you want to escape the responsibility of my Wife and son being taken away?" Drake eyes shines in alarming light

Planet Ash manager trembles. "We...We send our elite men to pursue them but they were very skilled and..... the...."

Drake chuckles loud. "With my power as the Supreme General.....Arrest Planet Ash management and LOCKED THEM ALL UP! UNTIL I DONT SEE MY FAMILY ALIVE, ALL OF YOUR WORTHLESS LIVES HAS TO SUFFER FOR MY SAKE!"

"Wha....You can't...You can't do this Duke!"

All the soldiers in the conference room move and grabs the manager. They are his men but they are from military too. And Drake is on top of the command system.

A new man sat on the chair the manager occupying.

"Reporting to the Duke, I will now put Planet Ash under locked down and return to you with full detail of the incedent report."

Drake cant be bothered with them. "Investigate the management of the Planet Ash. It cant possibly that easy to kidnapped my family wothout help from some scumbags.Show me the coordinates where my family was abducted and their possible route."

"Affirmative."

After sending the location, Drake immediately order to change their destination. He called Duan Fredrist too.

"Duke." A chilly cold voice answered the call.

"Elian was abducted. He was in your route."

"I know." Duan's voice is stiff but it was well controlled. It doesnt seem like he was clutching his mecha's handle so much it has a dent on it now.

Drake eyes widen. This tone...iteans Duan has a visual target?!

"GIVE ME THE LOCATION!"
