'Due to unforeseen circumstances, the senator was brutally murdered yesterday evening around midnight at this location.' The location of the hotel showed up on the screen. 'If anyone has any information please gi-' One turned it off as a picture of the crime scene was shown. It was the following morning. We were all in the boy's room, Ten and I sitting on the ground while the boys sat on their beds. "Well they have no idea who did it," Twelve said. "They could. We need to be careful. We have until 12 so whatever we want then we need to get back here, pack, and leave." My face lit up. "Can we go shopping?" One nodded. "Sure." I stood. "Alright let me go get changed," I said quickly. I caught him smile slightly as I closed the door behind me. Ten followed me into our room. "You're really excited about this," She said smiling a bit. "Well...yeah. We haven't been shopping in forever," I said. She shook her head, smiling. "Are you not excited about this?" "I mean. I've practically lived in a bunker for the last half of a year. I'm not good with social interactions." "Don't worry I'll take care of the actual interactions," I said kindly. "But the dorms back at the bunker are boring. We need to get something to kinda spice them up." She rolled her eyes. "You're not wrong. Come on then." I went into the bathroom and changed into a nicer outfit than my pajamas. It was just some shorts and a t-shirt. Last night hadn't been too cold but I had guessed it was just the night chill. I walked out where the boys were already waiting for us. "Took you long enough," Twelve said. One looked me up and down then smiled a bit. I felt my cheeks warm. "Let's go then," Ten said, obviously oblivious. I nodded and walked out, the others following. I immediately struck up a conversation with Ten.

We made it out of the first store, Ten and I having handed our bags to the boys. I shivered. The air had gotten cold. I felt a sweater fall over my shoulders. "Here, Gaol," One muttered. I stopped walking and put it on over my arms. He stopped beside me but the other two kept walking. "Thanks," I muttered. He shrugged. "I don't want you catching pneumonia." I brought the sleeve of the coat to my nose and breathed in. He raised a brow. "It smells like you." He laughed a bit and shook his head. "Weirdo." I stood on my toes and kissed his cheek. "Thank you for the coat." I finally saw a slight blush on his cheeks but he cleared his throat and didn't look at me. I hesitated, worrying I had over pushed my boundaries. "Err. We should probably go catch up to the others." I moved to leave but he grabbed my arm and pulled me into a fast kiss, quickly pulling away. "I-" "Sorry," he said quietly. He walked away and I ran after him, grabbing his hand tightly. He looked down at me and gave me a small smile. I smiled back at him, my mind warning me already how badly this would end. Mom. Dad. Daniel. Pedro. Amelia. Everyone. Why would he be any different? "Is something wrong? I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that without permission-" "No. It was fine." My mood brightened slightly. "At some point you're going to have to make up for the length of it though," I added mischievously. He leaned down and kissed the top of my head. "Okay," he said quietly. "Look, Gaol, no one can know about this, okay? Not Blade, not Ten, and especially not Three." I nodded. "I won't tell anyone." "Good," he said, squeezing my hand before letting go. I bit my lip as we caught up with the others. "You two good? Twenty One it looks like your face is on fire!" Twelve teased. "It's cold," I whined. "Even with the sweater on?" One teased. I blushed more and didn't look at him. He laughed and rolled his eyes. "We're fine, you two. I just dropped some stuff and she helped me take care of it." Ten gave me a disbelieving look. "Can we go in there?" I begged, pointing to a decor shop. "The dorms are soooo boring we could have something to spice it up." "Alright," Twelve agreed. One groaned. "What are you whining about now?" I asked. He held up the bags he was already holding. "The clothes are bad enough but decoration is going to be heavier." I rolled my eyes and walked towards the store. Ten laughed and ran after me.

We got back to the hotel and saw our truck already waiting for us. The boys were holding a ton of heavy bags and quickly put them in the U-Haul. One nodded. "Up to your rooms. Get your stuff and be down here in half an hour to leave." "Yes sir," Ten and I chimed and she practically pulled me into the building. "What happened between you two?" Ten demanded. "Huh? Nothing!" I squeaked. "Mhm. Fine don't tell." She started packing up her things. "I'll find out eventually I'm sure." I rolled my eyes and started putting things in my bags. We walked out to the truck a minute later and I saw the boys were already ready, One sitting on the top of the shelf. I pursed my lips and got in the truck, sitting below him. Blade walked around the side of the truck. "You four ready to leave?" "Yes sir." The door shut leaving us in darkness.
