I walked into my room. It was spacious and yet small at the same time. One side of the room had a full sized mattress, already made up with sheets and a soft looking blanket. My body still aches from the car trip but I was feeling mostly rested so I decided against sleep and saw my bags and been thrown haphazardly into the room. I started unpacking them into a dresser that looked newly built. I also had a desk with a high-tech-looking laptop. I walked over and ran a finger along it. It opened it and it asked for a password. I didn't have on, but moved to pull out my phone to take a picture to remind me to ask Neman later than realized that my phone wasn't in the pocket I usually shoved it into. I checked all my pockets, panicking a bit. I ran out of the room and nearly ran into a girl who paused and smiled. "Hey! Who are you?" "Uh. Alth-Twenty Two. I'm new here. I've gotta go find my phone." "You can't have your phone." I realized the accent and jumped, turning around to see One leaning against his doorframe. "And if you don't mind, I'd like to catch a few hours of sleep before briefing tomorrow." He raised his brows. "So keep it down, Seventeen." "What do you mean I can't have my phone?" I questioned. "Blade's gonna have to replace it for a more secure one. You've got the laptop for any immediate technical needs," Seventeen said cautiously, glancing at One. "We're sorry, One. We'll be quiet." "Good." He walked back into his room, shutting the door. "C'mon. Let me help you out." She walked into my room. I hesitantly followed. "So you're new? You just got here today?" "Y-yes," I said, hesitant at her friendly attitude. Just goes to show how rude everyone else had been. "Are all the people here so rude?" "Who've you met so far?" She asked, sitting in a swivel chair in front of the laptop. "One. Three. Mr. Neman." "You can just call him Blade. Everyone does. And no, you've just met the rudest three people here! I'm Seventeen." She stood and shook my hand. I smiled a bit. "That's reassuring," I said. She sat back down and looked at the computer. "Now let's see. You're number Twenty One. So your password will be SSTWE-ONE. You might want to scribble it down somewhere. It's just SS..." I grabbed a pen and scribbled it down on a paper. "Like Secret Society. Then TWE, like the first letters of Twenty, then a dash and ONE!" I nodded and set it beside the computer. "Someone should've already told you. Sorry about that." "No it's fine. Hey, it's nice to meet someone that's a bit more polite." "I'm glad we're getting another girl on the team! It's just you, me, Three and this other girl, Ten. She's very shy though, doesn't talk much. I think Blade likes men better. He hasn't hired many girls but it might just be because us girls don't usually jump into cars with strangers!" She laughed. I smiled a bit at her energy. "Anyways. I should pro-" there was a knock on the door and I walked over, opening it. "I asked you two to keep it down. We've got to be up at 5:30 tomorrow. Can't you shut up and get some sleep?" I rolled my eyes and shut the door. One opened the door again. "Hey!" He sounded offended. I flipped him off and walked back over to the computer. Seventeen looked astonished. "Umm. Twenty One?" "Yes?" She looked at me then at One. "Nothing. I should probably get to bed." She got up and ran out of the room around One. "Twenty One," One said, obviously frustrated. "Let's get one thing straight. I'm the senior agent here. And I'm not one to deal with other people's Bull-" "And I'm not a push around," I said smiling sweetly at him then sitting on the swivel chair and turning it back to the computer. I heard the door slam and smirked a bit. Hopefully he wouldn't try to mess with me anymore. Because gosh was he annoying. Slightly attractive but-I shook my head to get the thought out of my mind. This wasn't the time for that. I looked at the laptop. It was a just a normal laptop, like the one I had at home. With a sigh, I closed it and stood. I sat on the bed and fell asleep against my own will.

I woke up to a shrill alarm. I immediately jumped out of my bed and popped my head out of the room and saw a few people coming out of their rooms, but they were in uniforms. I spotted Seventeen and ran over. "Do we have something specific we have to wear?" "Yes, it's in your closet. Go get it on, quick." I nodded. She stayed where she was as I ran into my room and saw a uniform that looked similar to the others' uniforms. It had the white numbers Twenty One over the right chest, standing out well against the black uniform. It took me a few minutes to struggle and get it on. I ran out of the room and saw Seventeen still waiting on me. "Come on!" She rushed out of the room and up the stairs. I followed quickly. What a way to start my job here, late on day one. We ran into the briefing room. "Sorry," I breathed. "Sorry, Blade." Seventeen took a seat and Blade, looking annoyed, nodded to the seat at the far end. I sat silently in it. "About time you two. Now we're just missi-" "Sorry, Blade. Didn't hear the alert over the gun shots." He fake saluted the leader and sat in the seat furthest in the semi-circle from me. "Welcome back, One. You know when you should be here. You're setting a bad example for our new agents." "Sorry sir. Y'know how training is." He ran a hand through his hair, sitting back. How long had he been up that he'd already done training I wondered. "I do. We're going to spend most of the morning on group training. You are all to greet our new agent, Twenty One after, or during lunch. Let's get on with it. He walked out of the room and One was the first to follow, then the man with the number Two on his uniform, then Three, throwing me a look, and it continued in number order. I followed behind Twenty. We all walked downstairs and into one of the rooms branching off the kitchen. It seemed like a training room almost like the one I had first seen One in. "Pair up. Let's get training."
