Kanak returned to the village, her heart still heavy with emotion. She entered her home, took a bath, and dressed in a beautiful saree and jewelry provided by the sarpanch's wife. Vikram watched her with a mixture of confusion and curiosity, unsure of what she was planning.

As they prepared for the day, Vikram offered Kanak breakfast, but she declined, explaining that she was fasting for Karwachauth. Vikram's eyes widened in surprise, but he said nothing, instead deciding to fast alongside her.

As the morning wore on, Kanak turned to Vikram with a determined look in her eyes. "Mujhe sarpanch chachi ke ghar jaana hai," she said, her voice firm.

Vikram nodded, still unsure of what Kanak was planning. "Thik hai," he said, and together they walked to the sarpanch's house.

As they approached the house, Vikram couldn't help but wonder what Kanak had in mind. What was she planning to do at the sarpanch's house? And why was she fasting for Karwachauth? The questions swirled in his mind, but he knew he would have to wait and see what Kanak had planned._

Kanak sat in the sarpanch's wife's room, her hands outstretched as a young girl carefully applied intricate mehndi designs to her palms. The pungent smell of henna filled the air as Kanak chatted quietly with the sarpanch's wife.

Meanwhile, in the sitting room, Vikram sat with the sarpanch, who offered him some snacks. Vikram declined, saying he had already eaten breakfast chachi kanak kaha hai...he asked . But the sarpanch's wife chimed in, "Arre, Vikram beta, woh to mehndi lgwa rahi hai!" (Oh, Vikram, she's getting mehndi applied!)

Vikram's curiosity was piqued. He got up from his seat, his eyes scanning the room until they landed on Kanak, sitting serenely with her hands outstretched. He felt a pang in his heart as he realized that she was indeed keeping the fast for him.

Vikram's mind was filled with thoughts. Did she really keep the fast for him? If she's not eating, I won't eat either. He felt a sense of determination wash over him, and he knew that he would stand by Kanak, fasting alongside her if need be._

As Kanak emerged from the sarpanch's home, her hands adorned with intricate mehndi designs, the sarpanch's wife reminded her, "Shaam ko mandir mei aana, wahi wahi sari aurtain vrat kholengi." (Come to the temple in the evening, where all the women will break their fast together.)

Kanak nodded, her eyes sparkling with a hint of excitement. She walked alongside Vikram, her saree rustling softly in the breeze.

As they walked, Kanak's pallu slipped slightly, exposing her shoulder. She tried to adjust it, but her mehndi-adorned hands made it difficult. Vikram hesitated for a moment, his eyes locking onto Kanak's face.

Then, with a gentle touch, Vikram reached out and adjusted Kanak's pallu, covering her shoulder. His fingers brushed against her skin, sending a shiver down her spine.

Kanak's eyes met Vikram's, and for a moment, they just looked at each other. The air was charged with a subtle tension, a sense of intimacy that neither of them could ignore._

Vikram stuttered, "I'm just helping you, no bad intention..." But Kanak just whispered, "I know," and walked inside the home, leaving Vikram feeling a mix of relief and anxiety.

Kanak entered her room and lay down on the bed, closing her eyes to rest. Vikram watched her from the doorway, letting out a sigh of relief that she wasn't crying or upset about him touching her.

Just as Vikram was about to turn away, his phone rang, shrill in the silence. He answered, and his expression darkened as he listened to the caller.

"Kanak's father has joined hands with DSP Sagar," the caller said. "They're searching for Kanak, and once they find her, Sagar plans to marry her."

Vikram's grip on the phone tightened, his mind racing with the implications. He knew he had to protect Kanak at all costs. He looked at Kanak, who was still resting, unaware of the new threat looming over her.
