After 3 days...
The morning sun shone brightly as Kanak, now fully recovered from her illness, busied herself with household chores. She changed the bedsheets and gathered the dirty laundry, deciding to wash them by hand.
As she made her way to the well behind the house, Vikram appeared beside her, a gentle smile on his face. "Kanak, main madad kar sakta hoon?" he asked, offering to help her with the laundry.
Kanak smiled, appreciating Vikram's willingness to assist. "Haan, Vikram.jii Aap bucket mein paani bharkar de sakte hain."
Vikram nodded and began to draw water from the well, filling the buckets to the brim. Kanak, meanwhile, added detergent to the water and began to soak the clothes.
As they worked together, the warm sunlight casting a golden glow over the scene, Kanak felt a sense of contentment wash over her.
It was moments like these that she cherished, moments of quiet companionship with the man she was growing to love.
Vikram, too, felt a sense of peace as he worked alongside Kanak. He enjoyed watching her, seeing the way her hair fell in loose waves down her back, the way her eyes sparkled as she smiled.
As they continued with the laundry, their hands touched, and Kanak felt a jolt of electricity run through her body. She looked up to find Vikram's eyes locked on hers, a soft smile playing on his lips._
As they finished washing the clothes, Vikram helped Kanak to rinse them thoroughly. Together, they carried the wet clothes to the clothesline, where Vikram carefully helped Kanak to hang them up to dry.
As they hung the last of the clothes, Vikram turned to Kanak and smiled. "Sab kuch theek hai?" he asked, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
Kanak nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Vikram. "Haan, Vikram. Aapke bina yeh sab kuch mushkil hota."
Vikram's face lit up with a warm smile. "Jii yeh kaam sirf aapki jimmmedari nhi hai kanak. Meri bhi haii.."
Kanak's heart skipped a beat as she met Vikram's gaze. She felt a flutter in her chest, a sense of excitement and happiness that she couldn't ignore.
Vikram's eyes sparkled with amusement as he gazed at Kanak's wet clothes, which clung to her body. "Kanak, aapko kapde change krne chahiye. Aapke kapde bilkul bhig gaye hain."
Kanak's cheeks flushed a deep red as she realized the state of her clothes. She quickly nodded and hurried off to take a bath.
As she emerged from the bathroom, refreshed and clean, Kanak's eyes widened in surprise. Vikram had prepared a delicious meal, and the aroma wafting from the kitchen was tantalizing.
"Vikram, aapne khana banaya?" Kanak asked, her voice filled with gratitude.
Vikram smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Haan, Kanak. Aap khana khao, main tab tak nahata hoon."
Kanak's heart swelled with appreciation for Vikram's thoughtful gesture. She sat down to eat, savoring the flavors of the meal, while Vikram went off to take his bath. The warmth and care that Vikram had shown her made Kanak feel seen and loved, and she couldn't help but feel a deep connection to him._
As Kanak waited for Vikram to finish his bath, she rest her head on the table, her mind wandering to the events of the past few days.
She thought about how Vikram had taken care of her when she was ill, how he had helped her with the household chores, and how he had prepared a delicious meal for her.
As she reflected on these moments, Kanak realized that she had been given a rare opportunity to see Vikram in a different light. She had always known him as a rough and rugged man, but now she was beginning to see a more vulnerable and caring side of him.
Kanak's thoughts turned to her decision to give this relationship a chance. She had been hesitant at first, but now she was starting to feel a sense of hope and optimism. Maybe, just maybe, this marriage could work out after all.
As she drifted off into thought, Kanak felt a sense of peace wash over her. She knew that she still had a long way to go, but for the first time in a long time, she felt like she was on the right path.
Just as Kanak was starting to relax, .... . ... ... ... ...💔
