'Eh? Where am I?' Shin was dizzy, he couldn't even see anything clearly, only able to feel the tight ropes that bounded his legs and hands.Just great, he was kidnapped when he was sleeping, aka his most vulnerable state.

Let's have a little flashback for context.

Shinra, Arthur and Shin were on watch out for any infernals. This was because they were deployed by lieutenant Flam to stay here, right at this location.

'Why is there an infernal mission so early in the morning? I'm tired' Shin thought, constantly yawning which made his two friends sweatdrop.

Then, a man stumbled out of an alleyway, looking supposedly drunk.Both Shin and Shinra saw that there was a someone, wearing the company 1 lieutenant robe, sticking a jar that contained a bug against the man's back, turning him into an infernal. That's the culprit.

"That's the culprit!" Shinra informed Arthur, who was confused but still followed aling Shinra. Shin too followed along, already knowing who it is.

When Shinra, Arthur and Shin had reached the dead end, There were the two lieutenants. Karim and Rekka.

Shin immediately glared at Rekka, making the individual smile at him. While pointing his pointer finger at him, ready to shoot a finger gun attack, Shinra immediately said, "Sorry! It's just that it's not everyday we see Shinjuku!"

And with that, Shin was dragged off by Shinra, along with Arthur.

Shin was back at his room, sound asleep while the other two went on a 'secret mission', going through Karim's room basically.

When Shin is sound asleep, he obviously is not on Earth but in dreamland, so he is basically not even in a state of mind to be aware of anything happening outside.

However, that was his unlucky downfall.

' Damn. The drug is so strong, I can't even properly use any of my skills.' Shin cursed to himself, trying his best to find out where he was. Our protagonist couldn't even move a muscle with how his body was asleep from the drug.

"Good morning, Shinsuke!" A red head, with stars adorned on his eyes exclaimed with a happy aura, pissing Shin off.

"You... You're the culprit." Shin managaged to get out, quickly regretting it as he got a mind-ripping headache soon after.

The man, Rekka, quickly had a serious expression, his smile now gone.

Rekka slowly walked towards Shin, who was struggling to break out of the binds but to no avail.Damn, his long hair was in a mess, and he wasnt even in proper clothes. What a pain.

"I knew it! You knew it was me since day one, didn't you?" Rekka smiled, lifting Shin's chin up with one finger, before suddenly slapping him in the face.

"You fool! Look what you got yourself into! If only you minded your own business!" Rekka laughed, repeatedly beating the immobilized Shin up.

'Keep hitting me. Wake this damn body up!' With that thought, Shin only let out a small smirk.

With his body slowly being awoken, Shin attempts to kick Rekka in the face, to which Rekka had easily stopped.

"You can move? How impressive!" Rekka congratulated excitedly, honestly what a creep.

'Damn it!' Shin repeatedly tried to get out of Rekka's grip, but it was useless.

"The only reason I have not killed you is because I think you have the power to serve the Evangelist! So please don't make me kill you!" Rekka swiftly chopped Shin's neck, making the young man lose his consciousness.

"Y-You ...You bastard..." Shin muttered, before completely getting knocked out.

Tamaki had come back with more children, blushing at the praise Rekka had given her.

That was until she saw Shin's unconscious body.

"Lieutenant! That's company 8's Shinsuke Hitoka! What happened to him?!" Tamaki quickly ran to the handsome man's side, trying to wake the man up.

Before that could happen, Rekka kicked Tamaki away from the unconscious Shin. Rekka slowly picked Shin up bridal style and put him further away from the poor girl. Honestly, if Rekka had to fight Shin, he would've died the first 5 seconds.

Just as Rekka had found a compatible pilot for the infernal bugs, Shin had woken up.

"Damn it... My head hurts." Shin curst out as he casually broke out of his binds with ease.

"Eh?" Shin looked at Rekka, who was kicking Tamaki like she was a ragdoll.

"Palm of judgement." A large hand made of fire comes out of Shin's palms, grabbing Rekka and throwing him across the room, away from Tamaki.

"Yo, you alright?" Shin casually asked, still using his fire to keep the raging Rekka down.

"N-No! But thank you so much!" Tamaki whimpered, trying her best to not cry but failing miserably. She really loved the man, poor girl.

Shin frowned before looking at the sky and sending a fire beam through the ceiling, signalling to Shinra where they were.

"That idiot, can't even hide his presence." Shin frowned slightly, watching as the male had kicked down the ceiling and landed on Rekka with all his might.

"Shinra. I'll release him so, beat him the hell up." Shin flatly said, with a small accomplished smile on his face.

As Shinra nodded, a flying fist if flame came, colliding with his face.

"My stars! That was quite a powerful ability!" The creep (Rekka) exclaimed.

As Shinra and Rekka were fighting, Rekka revealed that Shinra had an adolla burst, whatever that meant, and was the third person the 'Evangelist' was trying to find.

'Hm? The hell is that?' Was all Shin was thinking about, enjoying the fight with some popcorn that he got out if nowhere. Shin and Shinra had duelled before, but all Shin really had to do was keep his constant heat manipulation barrier on and nothing would happen, so he never really thought Shinra had some sort of 'original flame'. All attacks were meaningless before Shin's barrier after all.

Shin was casually eating his popcorn, while blocking occasional flames that would be thrown at Tamaki and his direction with a single hand. He was really living life while his friend was fighting a criminal right Infront of him. That's Shin for you.

"I dont do this type of science." Shin randomly spoke out, confusing Tamaki as she too was eating the popcorn.

As the fight progressed , Shinra gained the upperhand of mobility, hence was able to beat Rekka, though he was exhausted after using up most of his body's oxygen. Now, why doesnt Shin ever get tired? This is because of his rings. The rings kept most of his fire power in them, as using it all in one-go would use a pretty big amount of oxygen. This takes off most of the strain it has on his body, making it so much more easier to produce and control his flames without getting tired at all. Also, have you ever seen Shin use 100% of his firepower before? He simply doesn't need to go through the trouble.

Anyways, back to the fight, Rekka had gotten back up again, which was bad news for the already tired Shinra. But really, he just chanted some random shit about the evangelist or whatever that Shin didn't really care about.

" I will burn all of you together with me!" Rekka starts going full on fire mode, burning up his hands slowly the more fire power he gathered. Shin knew that shit was about to go down.

Before Shin did anything, Karim had already used his super cool (in Shin's eyes) ability to freeze Rekka. Man that guy was crazy.

Rekka was now fully frozen, Karim and the just arrived Lieutenant Li planned on taking their friend out of it back at the company for questioning. However, before either could do that, Rekka had been shot by an unknown arrow, an instant kill.

Shin looked towards the area and back at the two lieutenants.

"Lieutenant Li, Karim! Dodge!" Shin warned with a serious tone.

The lieutenants did just that, avoiding any injury. However, a second attack was shot, taking one of Lieutenant Li's arms as he had protected Karim from the attack.

"Shinra!Put up a smokescreen! Tamaki and Shin! protect the children!" Karim ordered.l, still holding his friend in his arms.

Karim and Tamaki had both used their abilities to let the enemy know their location was exposed, leading to them retreating. Karim had also vowed alliance in working together for the case of the 'evangelist'.

The day had ended with more questions than answers. Just who was the 'evangelist'? What was their goal? And what exactly is the 'Adolla Burst'?
