Sleepily, I flutter my eyes open, getting comfy in the bed and wrapping myself arms around the best pillow ever.

Wait. Wait. Wait.

I try to sit up but a pair of strong arms pull be back down. That is not a pillow. That is Niccolo Alvera's chest.

My eyes immediately widen at the thought of cuddling with my target and how my boss would react to that.

Carefully, I slip out of his hold and somehow manage not to wake him up. That stupid pillow bridge did not separate us at all.

As I get out of bed my eyes fall on him. His curly, brown hair looks messy with curls falling on his forehead but somehow it also looks perfect.

Heaving a deep breath, I grab some clothes out of my bag and head to the bathroom. I might as well get ready.

I lock the door before getting undressed and putting on black cargos pants paired with a tight black shirt. My favourite outfit for missions. It makes me look so badass.

I take my hair out of the bun that I put it in last night and tie my hair into a ponytail, leaving some pieces out in the front.

I open the bathroom door to see that he's still fast asleep. I think he's a heavy sleeper, I think to myself with a chuckle.

I take this as my chance to brush my teeth and wash my face. It's so lovely getting ready with no one to brother you.

I enter the bedroom and start digging through my bag quietly and pull out two pistols and one knife. A gun in my right ankle, a knife in my leg and another gun tucked into my waistband.

After seeing Spencer Reid tuck a gun in his ankle that quite literally saved his life, I have to do it now too.

I head to the kitchen to grab a glass of water and almost drop my drink when someone walks in. Pietro. Of course it's him.

"I don't even want to ask how you got in," I mumble, shaking my head at his crazy antics.

"How is he?" Pietro asks. It's pretty sweet how he genuinely cares for Niccolo even though he's an ass.

"His usual moody self aka good," I reply, taking a sip of my water. "Why wouldn't he be?"

"He cares for his sister a lot, you know?" he mutters, taking a seat at the island. "He worked hard all his life to protect her then this happens, Elena gets kidnapped."

Elena. So that's her name. It's pretty.

Niccolo didn't talk about it with me. All I know is that she's kidnapped and... and that's it. I don't even know the people that took her.

"How old is she?" I ask, curious. "Sixteen," he answers and my eyes widen. Poor baby.

I can't imagine being that young and taken. God knows what those people are doing to her right now.

"I know she's cussing them out right now," he chuckles to himself, trying to lighten the mood. "She's like that."

"Must have gotten it from her older brother," I say and he smiles at my words. I can't believe Niccolo is actually an older brother though. He seemed like an only child to me by the way he acts.

"Anyways," he sighs and leans forward with a smirk on his face. "Did Niccolo sleep on the bed with you?"

"No," I quickly disagree, crossing my arms. "He slept on the couch." Well, for like an hour so it's not completely a lie.

He points to the bedroom and the door is halfway open which reveals Niccolo sleeping on the bed and not on the couch. Like that wasn't bad, you can also see that he is shirtless.

"I mean, I slept on the couch," I lie straight through my teeth and he rolls his eyes. Oh, you dumb fuck.

"You can't fool me, principessa," he winks playfully. Okay, but I can pretend to be an assassin and fool you that way so shut your trap.

"Go wake him up," he says as he stand up. "Good luck on that though, he's not a morning person."

Before I could reply, he leaves and I throw my arms up in the air in frustration. You're kidding.

I walk into the bedroom and you know what? Today I'm feeling annoying. So I grab a pillow and I throw it on him.

He raises his hand to rub his eyes and just for fun, I throw another pillow at him. "Smettila!" he yells, grabbing the pillow and throwing at me but I quickly move before it could hit me. {Stop it!}

I know Italian. Okay, that's a bit dramatic. Obviously my boss isn't going to put me on a mission regarding the Italian mafia if I don't speak any Italian.

I'm pretty good with languages. I speak English and Portuguese of course. My dad is Brazilian and I grew up only talking to him in Portuguese. He made me so I'd be able to learn the language.

Besides those, I know French, Russian, and Italian. The thing is, I can pretty much understand Italian but I'm not the best at speaking it unlike the rest.

It's pretty fun though because they all speak Italian around me as if I don't understand them.

"Wake up," I huff, laying down on the couch. "This is your big mission, no?"

He finally gets up and scoffs at me. His abs look even better today. I let my eyes scan his body and I notice a few scars that I didn't see yesterday. Damn.

"Quit it," he mumbles as he heads out of the room, most likely to go shower.

"Don't know what you're talking about!" I yell, loud enough for him to hear me because no way I'd let him get away with thinking I was staring at him.

Guys, I was. But he can't think that.

I hear the shower turn on and I get up to head to the kitchen. I am so hungry. You're always hungry.

On the best possible timing ever, Pietro walks with a box of donuts. Now I definitely don't care how he somehow has the keycard to our room.

"God bless you," I grin as he sets the box down on the island counter. "Yeah, I'm pretty amazing," he sighs dramatically, taking a seat.

I would take what I said back but he brought donuts and I'm hungry so I guess I'll let it slide.

I take a bite of the Nutella covered donut and it's safe to say I'm very happy right now.

"Is he up?" he asks and I nod my head as an reply since my mouth is full because I especially hate, hate, hate when people talk with food in their mouth.

Once I swallow the bite, I speak up. "He wasn't that moody, to be fair," I shrug.

Before he could reply, the bathroom door opens and Niccolo walks out, a white towel wrapped around lowly which reveals his v-line. Water droplets from his hair hit the floor as he continues to walk.

Oh my abs.

"Hey there, cutie," Pietro flirts with a smirk on his face. "How the fuck did your ass get in here?" Niccolo grumbles with his brows furrowed.

"You know you love me," Pietro teases even more but Niccolo just slams the bedroom door shut. Yeah, he definitely isn't a morning person.

I can't help but let out a small laugh at what just happened. It's noted to not speak to him in the mornings.

My thoughts go on pause as Pietro hands me an earpiece and I attach it on. "You're going to be on Niccolo's team during the extraction. It's, you, me, Stefan and Gia."

I nod my head at his words. "I'll meet you guys downstairs," he tells me and I say a quick goodbye before he walks out of the room.

I stay in the kitchen, waiting for Niccolo. To be honest, he's kind of taking a long time. If he takes any longer I might just finish all these donuts.

Finally, after around ten minutes he steps out of the bedroom. "Let's go," is all he says as he heads towards the door.

I quickly get up and leave the hotel room with him. Without thinking, my eyes look up at him. His jaw is locked and his hands are in fists.

I press on the elevator and we wait in silence until I decided to speak up. "Are you good?"

Thats a stupid question. His sister got kidnapped, of course he isn't. I couldn't help but ask though.

In response, all he does is nod his head slightly. We're going to save her, I hope he knows that.

We step into the elevator. Surprisingly, the silence isn't awkward. It's just... I don't know to be honest but not uncomfortable.

I can tell he's worried which is an emotion I never saw from him until now. If I'm thinking about it, this is the most vulnerable I've seen him.

This would have been the perfect chance to take him down yet I didn't tell my boss about this. His sister, the kidnapping, and the extraction.

If he ever found out. I don't even want to think what would happen. I'd just have to lie and say I really never knew until the mission started.

Trust me, I want to take down Niccolo as well. He's one of the top gang criminals in the world, I can't imagine all the pain he's caused to families.

But Elena is only sixteen. I can't just bring her into this. If my team knew about her, the only top priority is getting Niccolo. If Elena got killed by the Russians or if they took her to another location, it wouldn't matter.

It matters to me though. Even if that makes me a bad agent. We're supposed to protect citizens and to my knowledge, Elena isn't a criminal. She doesn't have to pay for her brothers actions.

The elevator doors open to the basement garage where everyone is waiting. We walk up to Pietro who's holding a large blueprint of a building, showing it to Gia and Stefan.

He holds it against one of the cars and Niccolo speaks up to explain the plan that he told us on the plane.

"I already have some men there, checking out the perimeters. There are two entrances, we are going through the one on the north side of the building and the rest are going through the south. We're going to head straight to the basement, team 2 are in charge of clearing the ground floor," he says. "Everyone got it?"

We all nod our heads in response and get into the vehicles which are black SUV's and G-Wagons.

"I'll go with Niccolo," Pietro tells me and I nod my head. It's better that way.

"Guess you're with us," Gia winks. I smile at her words. I really like her. The thing is, once we take Niccolo down, her and Stefan will go along with him.

"Fuck you left me with the deadly duo," Stefan scoffs at Pietro who just shrugs before getting into a car with Niccolo.

"Are we really that bad?" I ask her. "Maybe?" Gia replies and we both start laughing.

We both get in the back of the car so none of us have to be sitting alone while Stefan drives.

I honestly can't believe that they're siblings. I mean by looks, they look pretty similar but they have completely different personalities.

"I heard you and Niccolo slept in the same bed yesterday," she blurts out and my smile drops. So everyone's bloody heard.

Before I could defend myself, Stefan speaks up, "You best hope your ear pieces are on mute, you don't want Niccolo hearing you speak about this shit especially right now."

Thankfully mine is on mute, I only turn it on when the mission starts. I look at Gia and her eyes widen. "Gia!" I exclaim and she bursts out laughing. "I'm joking, it's on mute chill," she jokes.

"So is it true?" Stefan utters. What a hypocrite. I glare at him through the rear view mirror. "Alright, what can I say, I'm curious."

"It's not," I grumble. "And I'm going to fucking kill Pietro for opening his fat ass mouth."

Him buying donuts makes sense now. He wanted to get on my good side because he knew I'd be mad over this. Well, he's not Dexter Morgan.

"Gotta get used to that, Azaria," Gia smiles. "Pietro is an instigator."

So basically what she's saying is that I have another Aaliyah on my hands? Great.

Come to think of it, if he wasn't working for the mafia, they could be good friends.

"Alright, we're almost there so pattern up," Stefan announces. "Both of you."

What I've realised is that he's definitely the more serious sibling. He smiles and laughs but he'd rather not make the jokes. It seems like he wants to keep himself focus all the time, especially when he's around Gia. Maybe to protect her, you know? I'm not sure. I took a Psychology class as it's apart of the academy to learn how to profile targets.

My thoughts stop when I hear the sounds of a gun clocking. I turn to see Gia making sure her gun is good and it reminds me to do the same.

It's safe to say I'm nervous. Yeah, I've been on missions with them before but this one is different. More important.

Stefan parks the car and we all get out, following behind him as he walks slowly through out the trees. Our guns are up, ready to shoot anyone on sight.

Suddenly, Stefan raises his fist indicating got Gia and I to stop in our tracts and that's what we do. Carefully, we scan the area and I sigh a breath of relief once I see that it's just Niccolo and Pietro.

Silently, Niccolo leads to way until we are met with a fence but a few feet behind it is the building that his sister is in. He points at the door we are supposed to enter from and two guards are standing there. Luckily for us, they're on a smoking break; their guns not anywhere close to their hands.

Stefan pulls out his AR, closing one eye as he focuses on the aim. Not even a second later, the two men are dead. Thankfully for us, the gun has a silencer on which kept the gun shots pretty unnoticeable.

Niccolo breaks the lock on the fence with his gun and carefully, we all go through it and enter the building.

First thing that I notice isn't that it's dark and there's no sunlight but a few dimly lit lightbulbs, but it's the strong smell of weed and other narcotics.

My heart drops at the thought of them forcing that down a sixteen year old girl even though I've never met her.

Suddenly, gun shots start firing and that's how we know that the other team has entered; but instead of stopping, Niccolo quickly leads us to the stairs that lead to the basement.

Once we are down there, it's basically a long hallway with many rooms on each side. "There are guards everywhere," Pietro says.

We pause at the end of the steps, thinking of what's the best plan. "Fuck, just shoot them up," Gia suggests and even though it sounds crazy, it's our best option.

"Stefan and Pietro cause a distraction with gunfire but keep pushing towards them. As that's happening, Gia, Azaría and I are going to check the rooms one by one."

We all nod at his plan. After a deep breath, Stefan and Pietro step out and duck under a table that's against the wall and start firing at the guards down the hall.

Two bodies already fall dead and we start moving. I walk into the first room onto the right and my eyes fall onto a man who's crushing up pills and snorting them. What the fuck is going on is this building?

I immediately press onto the trigger but he flips the table, blocking my bullets. He's literally high, Azaría. You can do this shit easily.

I kick the table which pushing him against the wall, keeping him trapped. Right as I was about to shoot him from a top angle, I see a gun pop up above the table and I quickly duck as he fires bullets towards me.

I wait till he needs to reload and once he does, I jump over the table, landing beside him. With one quick swift move, I take the gun from his hand and smack it on his head which causes him to pass out easily.

I immediately leave the room and run down the hallway where I see Niccolo fighting two men. I raise my gun to try get a shot at one of them but it's too risky, I might hit him instead.

He glances at me and his eyes quickly fall onto the door beside me. He doesn't need to say anything. I know what he means.

I kick the door open and my eyes widen when I see a girl with her hands tied up and a piece of tape covering her mouth. A man is standing beside her, gripping onto her arm.

My eyes glance at where they're headed and I see a secret exit that wasn't on the blueprint. If I came even a second later, they would have had the chance to escape with her.

As soon as the man sees me, he raises a knife to Elena's throat. Shit.

"Niccolo, she's in here," I mutter through the earpiece as the guy's smirk grows.

I try to take a step closer but he pushes the knife closer to her skin. "Tsk, tsk, tsk," he warns, his eyes sparkling like this is somewhat fun to him. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, sweetheart."

Catching me by surprise, Elena smashing her foot into the guys shoe causing him to stumble back. I can't help it, but a small smile reaches my face at her actions.

She stumbles into the corner and I don't hesitate to pull my trigger, my gun aimed at him.

What the fuck?

Today's the day my gun decided the jam on me?

He smirks in response. "No guns allowed in this fight, sunshine. Do you think you can still take me on?"

My face cringes at his pout and teasing tone. I fucking hate men.

I throw my gun to the side as he walks up to me. Right when he's about to grab me, I duck down and swing my foot. He falls down on his ass. It takes everything in me not to laugh in his face.

He raises his hand to slash me with the knife but I quickly grab his wrist. Guess I really do have Spider senses, that reaction was way too fast.

I turn his hand so that the knife is now pointing to his face. I'm pushing down while he's trying his hardest to push it away from him. Thinking fast, I knee him in the dick. In that one second of pain and shock, I manage to push the knife fully down, which goes right through his throat.

I stumble back in horror, watching as blood splatters out everywhere. He was a bad man, Azaría. Its okay. I had to do it anyways. It was my life or his.

I get snapped out of my trance once I remember about Elena. Turning around, I run up to her and kneel down. First thing I do is gently rip off the tape on her mouth. My eyes scan her face and what I see breaks my heart a little bit. Her lip is cut and there's a purple bruise on her cheek as well as scratches. There's a huge gash on her thigh and a few small cuts on her arms.

As I untie the rope around her hands, I notice that her eyes are fluttering and it looks like she's going to pass out at any second.

"Hey, Elena," I mutter softly, trying to keep her awake and get her attention on me. "You know, stomping on his foot was a smart move. You definitely didn't get that from your brother."

Despite being in pain, she manages to let out a faint chuckle which makes my lips tilt up into a smile.

"Alright, c'mon, we got to get you home, Elena," I mumble -but more to myself- as I wrap her arm around my shoulder and stand up.

As soon as we take our first step, she stumbles and almost falls down but I quickly catch her. "I know you can do this, okay?" I try to encourage her.

"You're right," she croaks out and lets out a deep breath. We take another step and this time to do it. Slowly, we manage to make it to the secret exit and I can hear her shallow breaths as she tries her hardest.

Right as I was about to open the door, I hear footsteps behinds up. Before I could even turn out, Niccolo is already next to us and throwing Elena's other arm around his shoulder.

"Nico," she mutters and a small smile appears of his lips. "Hey, El," he whispers back.

The nicknames they have for each other, oh my God.

Fuck. Why do I have to be so sensitive about this family shit? Okay, I seriously gotta fix up.

I open the door and we step out. Step by step, we make it to Matteo's G-Wagon. Every time I glanced at him, his eyes were focused on Elena. One minute his eyes would soften, a look I've never seen from him before. But the next minute, I could see the frustration and guilt written all over him, like he blames himself for what's happened to her.

"It's okay," I tell him as I open the back door. He doesn't reply. All he does is shake his head lowly before carefully putting his sister onto the seat.

He didn't ask but I get into the seat next to her in the back to make sure she's okay and stable.

I watch as he goes around the car and gets into the drivers seat. The way he's walking with his head down, his shoulders down, his facial expressions. I've never seen him like this. I never even thought he could be like this... not a mafia leader or killer but a hurt brother who wants to protect his little sister.

"We got her. Azaría and I will be heading to the estate on the hills," I hear him say to our team through the earpiece.

The rest of the car ride goes in silence.
