Third person POV

Vera's eyes fluttered open and she rubbed them a little.

Looking at Julius peacefully sleeping she smiled to herself. Tracing his abs and chest with the tip of her fingers she just took notice of his rose tattoo at his side

"Morning gorgeous"

She tried to pretend like she was asleep but was already caught

"M-morning" Her cheeks turned crimson

"I see you were admiring my tattoo"

"No. I mean yes. It's beautiful"

"I got it five years ago. It was supposed to be a reminder that love and war were the two things in my life hence the rose and the sword but the sword dominated "

Vera just took in the information with a clueless face.

"Vera is Julius here.... "

Aldonis drifted off when he saw them in bed butt ass naked

"Shit! "

Vera panicked and hid her face in Julius's chest and he threw the covers over her properly

"It's not hard to fucking knock!! "

"Sorryyyyy!!! "

He shouted rushing out

Julius looked down and laughed at Vera's bright red face. It was as red as her hair

"It's not funny"

She said sitting up holding the covers to her bare chest. She glared at Julius

"Your right it is not funny. Where are you going? "

Julius pulled Vera back to him holding her even tighter

"Let me go. I wanna help Mrs Juli in the kitchen..... "

She pouted at him

"No your not going anywhere. Just 15 more minutes"

Julius gave her his sad eyes and didn't wait for her response before squeezing her closer to himself not wanting to let go of this moment.

"Julius...... " She whined

"No! " He refused to let her go and his grip only tightened around her waist.

"Oh I wanted to ask if Aldonis was free today"

He looked down at her with a crease in between his brows

"Aldonis Why?"

"Well I wanted to go shopping. For some stuff"

She turned pink looking away

"And you said if I wanted to go out he'll have to come along"

Julius remained silent. His mind drifted to what Cyrus said and whether he liked it or not he had to accept that what Cyrus said was true.

She wasn't safe Julius would die before he would ever let what happened with Ludwick repeat itself

"Julius.. " Vera kept poking him as he came out of his daze

"You can't go"

He saw as the shimmer in her eyes became doll and her face fell

"But why? "

"You just can't. It's not safe"

"Please. But you let me go last time and nothing happened" She nibbled on her lower lip remembering she passed out the last time

"Mhm You passed out"

"But it doesn't mean I will this time"

"C'mon I can't live in fear forever "

"You won't be going Vera End of discussion"

He watched her face fall into an angry pout as she got out of his grip and stood up. He stared at her bare body as she took his shirt and slipped into it.

"Oh come on Don't go all pouty on me"

She ignored him throwing her hair into a messy bun and stumping out while Julius couldn't help but find her little outburst cute, he felt bad for denying his doll what she wanted and thought of a way for her to still go but also be safe.

Vera's POV

I walked into the kitchen to meet Lexi and Selina there, almost done with breakfast.

"Morning ladies"

"Morning.. "

They both answered as I walked opposite then to the fridge

"Oh my gosh" Lexi let out a sharp gasp

"What? " I asked turning to her

"You lost it"

"Lost what? " Selina asked and a crease formed between my brows

"Ugh Virginity girls. She lost her virginity. No wonder she's in his shirt and may I say it looks sexy on you" She squealed and my cheeks went hot.

Just swallow me now mother earth. I felt like running away as my cheeks burned and Lexi continued her squealing

"We're going to be aunties soon" She giggled hysterically while I just stood there burning red like a tomato

"Excuse me ladies" Julius walked in and I went to stand beside Lexi and Selina behind the counter.

"Yes mr husband of the morning"

I slapped Lexi's arm as I kept my eyes trained on the pan in front of me that had pancake sizzling in it.

I was going to avoid Julius's stare as much as I could. I wasn't going to look into his eyes and loose my resssolve.

"May I talk to my wife in private? " I felt his gaze on me but I didn't look up. I tucked loose strands of hair behind my ear, staring down at my own feet.

"Sure sure. We want to be aunties very soon" Selina added, quickly avoided my glare before scurrying off giggling with Lexi.

I took over the pancake in the pan. I flipped it just so I wouldn't seem jobless. I felt arms wrap around my stomach from behind and his head dropped on my shoulder. i sighed dropping the spatula

"You know my shirt looks good on you"

I looked down at the pan still not ready to give in. I really wanted to go shopping and after refusing me he was now trying to be sweet.

"Aren't you supposed to be at work? "

"Yes but.. As the boss you know I can take any day off"

He turned me by my shoulders to face him

"And? "

"And that means I can take a day off such as today to take my doll shopping"

"Really!? "

Julius's POV

I watched as her eyes lit up and a cheeky smile covered her face

"Mhm Really"

"Sure there's no condition this time? "

She looked at me daring me to say yes

"No No condition"

"Thank you! "

She squealed throwing her arms around my neck.

"Now go get ready. I don't mind but I don't think walking around in my t shirt in the mall is appropriate"

She pulled away and pursed her lips at me

"Okay. I'll be back"

She scurried off forgetting her pancake.

I finished making the pancakes and served them on a plate for us. After getting myself ready I set out for her room with the plate.

On walking in my eyes fell on my doll. She was sitted in front of her mirror, combing her hair and I just stood there watching her beautiful face through the mirror until we locked eyes.

Dropping the brush she turned to me standing.

"How do I look? "

I looked at her from head to toe and couldn't help the smirk that crept unto my face



She looked so cute and sexy in her baby pink cropped sweater with skinny white jeans.

"Ravishing" I spoke under my breath and she let out a breathless giggle as a blush claimed her cheeks

She looked at me from head to toe unconsciously and her blush increased

I guess I was looking good as well

Vera's POV

I couldn't help but admire what Julius had on as well



He had on a white polo shirt and ash trousers. The short sleeves of the polo revealed his muscled arms.

My cheeks burned as I found myself checking him out. I found it hard to concentrate on my hair now.

I just turned away and threw my hair into a love braid finishing it off with a little pink bow that went with my top and little gold dangling ear rings

I turned around and bumped into Julius , I looked away trying to hide my crimson face

He raised my jaw up and placed his lips on mine

"Your so adorable hermoso "

My cheeks felt like they were going to fall off at this point. His accent was making me weak in the knees and he just stared down at me.

He knew the effect he had on me very well. I could see the emotions as clear as day in his ash stare.

"Come on"
