Julius's POV

Vera has been a little distant off recent and I had no idea why.

I had a feeling it could be because I had been spending most of my time at work and not with her, so today I planned to get off work early and spend some quality time with my doll.

I got into my car ready to drive home when my phone rang

"Lexi? " I spoke bringing the phone up to my ear

"Come to the hospital.

It's Vera"

My heart started racing as Lexi put down the phone

Was there something wrong with my doll? Was that why she has been distant

I took off to the hospital driving like a maniac not bothering to consider the traffic lights or constant horns from other drivers.

I needed to be with my doll.

Ariving at the hospital I rushed in and met Lexi in front of the room I was told Vera was in.

"What happened!? " I asked panicking

"We were at home She said she was feeling dizzy and I went to get her some water but when I got back she had fainted on the floor"

My heart sank and I was scared out of shitless

"The doctor is in there right-"

The door opened with a small crack and I was allowed in.

I walked in to see Vera sitted up on the hospital bed as her dove eyes stared at me. The doctor stood beside her.

I ran to her and hugged her. Cupping her face in my hands I placed a kiss on her lips

"Are you okay doll? "

"I'm fine"

She gave me a faint smile and my heart relaxed a little

"What she is going through is your fault you know? "

I looked up at the doctor confused

"My fault? "

"Yes your fault

Aren't you the one whose baby she's carrying? "

"Baby-"

My brain had just registered what the doctor said ,as I stared at him a wide smile crept unto his face and I looked at Vera to see the same smile on her face

"I-i'm going to be a father? "

"Yes! " Vera giggled letting tears of joy pour down her cheeks

I lifted her up in my arms twirling her around

"I'm going to be a father!! "

"Yes! "

She giggled in my arms hysterically

"I love you

You have given me the best news ever Thank you so much"

Tears rolled down my cheeks and she wiped them away with her soft and delicate hands.

The hands that would hold our child and children the come. I stared at the woman I loved most in the world

9 months later.......

"We are done with kids! "

"Okay ,okay"

Vera was extra grumpy as we rolled her on the wheel chair. She was going into labour and I was scared if I breath too loud she would rip my head off.

Mother and Lexi were beside us trying their best to calm her down.

I followed her into the delivery room. Helping her in to the bed so the doctor could start the delivery.

She squeezed my hand as she groaned in pain And I froze as reality hit me like a ton of bricks.

"Julius!

I need you to tell me it will be fine"

She looked at me with teary eyes and I came out of my daze and held her hand in mine

"It'll be fine doll

You'll be a great mother"

She started pushing as she screamed

"You can do it doll!

Bring our little angel into this world!

You can do it"

After a lot of grunts and groans there was silence before I heard a baby's cries.

Tears rolled down my cheeks as my baby was wrapped in a blanket and given to Vera who looked like she had just ran a marathon.

She had sweat coating her face and her cheeks were bright red.

"My baby" Tears rolled down her cheeks as she kissed our baby girl's head

We didn't go for a gender reveal wanting it to be a surprise. I wished it would be a girl that he red hair just like my doll and Vera wished it would be a boy with eyes like mine

I stared at my baby girl as Vera craddled her in her arms

"Do you want to hold her Julius? "

"Me?

No I-i don't want to hurt her"

Vera didn't wait for me to finish before she gave our baby girl to me. She was so little and beautiful. She had Vera's facial structure cheeks and lips.

As I stared at her at that moment I knew I would always protect my little girl no matter what. Right then and there I made a vow to be the best dad i could be.

"She has your nose and hair colour"

I stared at my little blondie. She was just like her dad.

"What should we name her? "

I looked at Vera and she smiled

"Delia"

I loved it.

I placed a soft kiss on Vera's forehead, then on her lips

"Thank you so much my doll"

I put my finger in Delia's little hands and she squeezed it. I smiled at her as tears flooded my eyes.

'Now my family was complete'
