Cielos POV

I woke up in a daze and stared at the ceiling until I finally had the strength to get up.

I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth with my eyes barely open.

I took off my clothes and examined my body in the mirror, my neck was red and swollen with two bruises on each side from Nike's grip. My wrists were swollen and red too and I had some left over bruises from what happened that one night.

*Sigh*

If only I knew shit would turn out like this.

I walked downstairs to my mom and Jas cooking breakfast today. Where the fawk did this stud come from forreal man.

"Goodmorning baby" my mom kissed me.

"Why you got on a turtle neck?" She burst out laughing but I just side eyed her.

"Good morning to you too" I said sitting down. I'm still mad tired.

"I can't believe she's leaving so soon" she was telling Jas about how I'll be transferring to a uni in the bay soon.

"I actually wanted to talk to you about that" I said.

"What? Don't tell me you don't wanna go no more." My mom crossed her arms. Nah it's not that... I just think I wanna move sooner than the date we decided on, like next month" I said rubbing my neck.

"Oh my gosh that's so soon though Cielo" she looked like she was thinking.

"I just think it will help me transition better before school starts and then I can find a job and meet people" I said lying out my ass but nah it's kind of true though.

"I don't know.. I need to think about it Cielo" she said.

"I understand, it's soon" I said getting up.

"I'll see y'all later" I said walking out and heading to my stop. Nik's car wasn't in the drive way. But nothing new I guess.
