Everything was planned out from the beginning as Adalyn made everything unnoticeable and also so it wouldn't lead back to her.

She's been making this plan for a while now and decided why not just do it on the night of the hall.

The hall was very in the underground world. Everyone mafia leader and his or her family must attend to show respect and even the gang leaders. Occasionally, you'll see something occur but the head wanted everyone to be on their best behavior.

Maeve had passed out after the torture. She couldn't handle that much pain and Catherine...well she's dead.

Adalyn didn't feel no type of remorse for doing that to her own mother; her birth giver because honestly she deserved it.

Before delivering the head, Adalyn has type and printed a note and saying how the two were going out and will around late so they could make a grand entrance.

By now, Adalyn was on her way driving back home with her food sitting in the passenger seat. She thought why not but something while she sits there for a while.

She made it safely to the mansion and the guard nods at her before opening the gate, letting her drive her car through.

The others must be home, she thought as the car they left in was not parked back in the garage.

Seeing the boys walked out the house, she looked towards them with a smile as they're eyes warmed at the sight of their sister.

In their minds, they were thinking about how beautiful she looked.

"You look beautiful, Adalyn" Alesandro said to his younger daug hter as he tried not to shed out a tear as this will be the first ball she attended as a family.

~OUTSIDE THE BUILDING~

The limo driver pulled up infront of a very elegant building. Red carpet covered over the stairs going down in a horizontal line as poles were placed on the side with lines being connected so no one was passed through.

Paparizzi was outside aligned, all screaming with their hands out and white flash is being used constantly.

Alessandro took a look at the window with the people outside before sighing saying, "Ok boys, you know how things work here. We show our faces for at least an hour or so before leaving. Adalyn this must be one of your first ball so stick to one of us." He said as they all nodded.

This was not Adalyn first ball at all. She been to several.

The boys all exit the limo first as Alessandro waited by the door and hold out his hands for Adalyn.

The people that was screaming and constantly flashing their lights were anxious to see who would be stepping out of the limo.

Adalyn took ahold of her father hand and step out of the car fixing her dress from behind as he smile at her and they begans to walk.

Some were confused because usually it would be Catherine and Maeve but this time it was someone different.

"Mr.Hernandez...Mr.Hernandez" the random person said as Alessandro face the person raising his eyebrows slightly.

"Yes" he said

"Who May this beautiful lady be to you" he said as cameras continued to flash everywhere wanting to know who was Adalyn seeing they've never seen her before.

"My youngest daughter" he said leaving it at that before walking off with Adalyn, ignoring everyone else questions.

Adalyn was ready to get this over. Everyone had some type of weapon on them if it was supposed to be just a friendly ball but people had enemies. Every mafia or gang related people were invited so it's very important to be cautious.

Entering the two big double doors, the place was filled with people everywhere. It was a gold and black decoration every.

Men couldn't help but looked towards her way as they admire the dress she was wearing.

*3 hours later*

The family decided that they overstayed and left. Luckily no one doesn't to pop anything off tonight.

On the way back home, Armani ask "Mom and Maeve never came. They just had something that's more important than the ball"

"I don't know but whatever it is, it better be good. They miss the once a year where everyone meets up"

Everyone else just shrugged it off since this was a normal thing that the two would do.

Pulling up to the driveway, the boys all got out even Adalyn.

Adalyn was playing it off call as she doesn't won't anyone to suspect anything.

Alessandro unlock the door as everyone piles in ready to get out the suit and dress.

"It's too quiet" one of the boys said as they suspiciously looked around.

"Damien call your mother or Maeve" he said as he grabbed his gun searching around the house.

"One of you come upstairs with me" Niklaus said

"Dad they're not answering, both went to voicemail"

Adalyn looked around before saying, "What's going on" she said with concerned in her voice

"Something don't feel right"

"DADDD LOOK" Armani yelled as he and Niklaus stood inside Maeve room seeing her tied up to the bed. Armani covered his eyes not wanting to see the site of his naked sister

They all ranned upstairs as Adalyn stood by the door.

They check her neck not before untying her first. Niklaus gave her face a light tap to wake as she jump up screaming and crying.

Adalyn looked at her brother attend to Maeve as she stood back there.

Maeve made eye contact with Adalyn as fear rises in her eyes.

Adalyn looked at all her brothers and father before turning her attention back towards Maeve, holding her index finger to her mouth.

Adalyn took out her phone, telling them to deliver the package before putting it away.

"Dad, you want me to go the kit" Adalyn ask panic

"Yea go get it quick" he said as Adalyn rushed off to go get it.

She had to pretend she cares to play it off.

She came back handling it to him as he begins to open.

"Let her rest and she should be good soon" he said as he put everything back up

DING

DING

The house bell ring throughout the whole house.

Dad left the room to get the door. As he opened it, he looked confused not seeing a person before looking down to see a box wrapped up like a percent with a note hanging off of it.

He took the box and sat it on the counter.

"What is that"

"I don't know but it was deliver here" he said as all his children piled up around him wanting to see.

"Mark doing a track now on who could have possible doing it" Damien said as his father nodded.

He took the note before reading it aloud.

Dear Hernandez,

I don't have a problem against you all and I'm not trying to start a war but it's just her that I wanted. Oh and I hope Maeve doing fine, heard she got scratched up a little bit

Alessandro was anxious and so was everyone else after listening to the letter.

Opening the box, they all gasp seeing the cut off head in the box....
