Jhon said, " Boss, Mr. Johnson broke the engagement, he said his daughter loves someone else and he doesn't want to force her ".

Demon thought for a minute and said, " I don't care about this engagement anymore, but tell him to fulfill his promise, I am not gonna bend there ".

Jhon nodded and left, Demon sat there lost in his thoughts, " Samara, I know you are alive and I will find you, and this time when you come back I will have all the power to protect you ".

He gritted his teeth, his eyes were bloodshot, he muttered, " I will give a very painful death to that bastard who tried to snatch you away from me ".

The emptiness in his heart was killing him, he felt suffocated without Samara around him, and it was getting tough to breathe without her.

The only thing that kept him alive was Samara's confession.

He believed that Samara was still alive and he would bring her back at any cost.

Few, days passed and Demon was discharged from the hospital. Demon didn't go back to the island, Samara's memories were haunting him there.

Jhon and others believed that Samara was dead and that day it was so windy, maybe Samara's body drove away in the fast flow of water.

But Demon was adamant to believe about Samara's death.

Demon ordered Jhon to keep a close eye on Henry, but nothing came out. Henry was usually managing the café given by him.

Jhon wanted to tell Henry about his sister's death, but Demon denied saying he would bring her back.

Jenny kept on asking for Samara's photo but Jhon gave her an excuse that he didn't visit the island so he couldn't click the photo.

Mr. Johnson fulfilled his promise and gave his fifty percent shares to Demon.

Liana was very happy that her dad didn't force her like other businessmen dads to marry someone from business profit, she felt so lucky to have him.

Liana was meeting Henry secretly.

One after other year passed and now it's been three years and many things changed in Demon's life, but only one thing was same as earlier that was Demon's belief that Samara is alive.

Now Demon was the most powerful man in the world, but at the same time, he is the coldest man alive.

He became so handsome that no woman could take off their eyes of him. All the women who saw him once, tried to climb his bed, but Demon never had any interest in them.

Many times his business partners tried to drug him to make him happy to get some business benifits but Demon beared all the pain and ended up in the hospital but never allowed any women to touch him. The next day, the dead body of the person who tried to drug him would be found in a very bad condition, that it was very hard for their family to recognise them.

After some time it was well understood that if anyone tried to play with Demon, their dead body would be found the next day.

Demon had given an official statement that he is married and soon he will introduce his wife to the world.

The whole world was eagerly waiting for the day when Demon will introduce the luckiest girl who has the honour of being the wife of the most powerful and handsome man and the most loyal also.

They wanted to see the beauty who stole the heart of the beast.

Demon never stopped looking for Samara. Jhon felt like he almost looked for her in the whole world, but his boss was not ready to give up.

Demon always wore a ring on which Samara's name was carved.

Jhon felt like earlier he loved Samara but now she has become his obsession. He had surrounded himself with her photos.

Whether it was his home or office, Samara's photos were everywhere on each wall.

It was like he won't be able to breathe if he doesn't see her photos around him.

Now Demon is so powerful that he could easily manipulate the world's economy, and at the same time he was the king of the Mafia.

Jenny met Demon a few times. At first she was very afraid of him, but Demon was very gentle and kind to her thinking she was Samara's best friend and Jhon's wife so she doesn't deserve his cold shoulder.

Slowly Jenny's opinion for Demon changed 360 degree, she felt that Samara is very lucky to have Demon. Demon still hasn't told Henry and Jenny about the incident three years ago, he just said Samara is in his mansion safe and sound.

Although Jenny didn't meet or see Samara for three years, but she was sure Demon would take care of her.

During day time, he kept himself busy with his office work and during night time he would finish his mafia work, he hardly slept in twenty-four hours.

He was not just a dead body, the only difference was that he was breathing , most of the time he would have coffee and cigarettes.

Demon always kept telling himself that Samara was alive and that was the only thing that kept him alive.

Demon always kept a close eye on Henry, because now he started doubting seeing the normal life of Henry. He was living like he never had a sister, which was not like Henry who was very concerned about his sister.

How come he never asked or requested to meet or see Samara in the past three years, this was very surprising to Demon.

Later he got to know that Liana had denied to their engagement because she was in a relationship with Henry.

He didn't mind anyway because his purpose was never to marry Liana. But all these things gave him a strong feeling that whatever happened three years ago was not just a suicide attempt of Samara, it was a pre-planned escape for Samara.

He knew that the last few days Samara was with him, she was upset about something and he never got to know the reason behind her unhappiness.

He always felt that he failed as a husband, he was not able to keep his wife happy.
