Hello everyone

Sorry for the delay in update. I thought I would be able to update between the exams but it wasn't possible.

As compensation there is double update. Both are longer than my usual chapters. Do check both.

Recap:

Xander's pov:

She gets out of whatever dazzle she was in and takes a step back regaining her blank look. Her look had hardened. She was clenching her jaw trying to control herself. Her knuckles turned white with how strongly she was holding them. She takes another few steps back and turns towards the sound.

Alexia's pov:

I turn towards the sound to see Rosie fallen flat on her face. Everyone looks at Rosie with concern. Not everyone. I saw Matteo, Xander and Xavier's face turn red controlling their laughter. Not that I wasn't doing the same but my face I didn't let any emotion slip on my face.

Those three would be dead if they let out even the smallest of a chuckle. Such a loving father they have. I know those 3 adore Rosie, but you can't help youself from burst out in laughter whenever you see someone fall. Atleast I cannot.

She was just 2 seconds away from wailing her heart-

Nevermind. She started crying...

Silas is going to go crazy with happiness when he hears about this. To bad I didn't record it for him. That guy has some serious issues.

Everyone starts to rush towards Rosie when she starts ugly crying. I look towards all of them huddled around Rosie while Francesco was hugging her calming her down. I shrug my shoulders and walk towards the other open door besides living room.

It leads me to dinning area. The dinning table was filled with food. There were sandwiches, pizza, bruschetta, pastries and spaghetti. There was also a orange juice jar with a few coke bottles besides it.

I always knew I was god's favourite kid.

I literally haven't ate anything since morning. I slept the whole flight and it was fair to say I was ready to kill for some food.

There were 2 house helpers arranging the plates.

"Good evening miss. Are you looking for something?" One of the househelper asks. She was in a beautiful blonde in her early 30's.

"Lexi will be fine. If you don't mind could I have a plate of food?" I ask her politely.

"Just give me a minute, cara. Come sit here." She says pulling a chair for me.

As soon I sit, she serves me my plate with little of everything. As soon as I take my first bite I swear I nearly moaned.

"It is so delicious miss. I would kiss you right now but I don't think your fiance would appreciate it." I say jockingly pointing towards her engagement ring.

Food is the only thing that can make me act out of my character.

"Thankyou cara. And please call me Maria. And my husband Josh works as a driver. I am sure you'll meet him some other time." She says smiling.

I nod back at her. As I continue to eat I couldn't help cursing Devin. Why couldn't he hire her before Deluca's.

I was done with my first plate and I didn't have any shame in grabbing another plate. I am a growing girl I need food. Maria was all over me serving food and I couldn't love her any more. Feed me food and I'll love you forever.

I swear I am going to kidnap her with me whenever I leave from here.

I was busy eating my food when the kitchen door opens and people start to flood in. I turn around to see Francesco, Alessandro, Luca and Elijah entering with Rosie. Elijah had put Rosie hand across his shoulder to support her walk.

"What do you mean you don't know where your sister is? How come you be so irresponsible?" I hear Francesco scold someone.

"I am right here dad." I hear Rosie says back.

"I am not talking about you honey. I was talking about Lexi." Francesco says back a bit softly than earlier.

"What do you mean by Lexi?" Rosie shout. I shiver from unexpected loud noise. That girl can shout.

"Lexi as in your twin sister. Our sister. Dad is talking about her. She just arrived here few minutes ago." Elijah says back smiling.

So much for surprise Elijah.

"What do you mean by she arrived few minutes ago? When did she come? Where is she? Why did she come? " Rosie exclaim in frustration and anger.

I could feel her love from here. Note the sarcasm.

"What do you mean by why. She is our sister. She should have come back to her home a long time ago. She has every right be here." Alessandro says back agitated. I could hear his voice rise a bit.

I appreciate his words but I wanted to point it out to him that this is not my home. I stop myself from saying it. I know when to keep my mouth shut.

"I didn't mean it like that. She is my sister aswell. Why didn't I know about her coming?" She says back softly probably realising she said the wrong thing.

Can't let everyone know that these twin sister are more likely to get on each other's throat every possible time than to actually talk.

"Maybe cause she wanted it to be a surprise?" Elijah says back clearly taken back by her questions.

"Yeah right. Surprise. Ofcouse surprise. Right. I am so happy." She sputtered out words not knowing what to say. I just know that she wants to kill me at this point.

"Are you ohk honey? You sound a bit off." Francesco ask back concerned.

"Yes dad I am just shocked. Sorry for my reaction. You caught me off-guard by saying about her arrival. " Rosie says back in her small voice. I would have literally believed her if I didn't know her. She has her way with her words.

"It alright honey." Francesco goes back to hug her. I roll my eyes at their dramatics and continue eating.

I could hear the door open again and the other 3 come in saying that they didn't find me. I am actually surprised that they didn't realize that I am in the same room. I might not be that visible due to chair but still. I shrug my shoulders and continue eating sandwich.

I had the sandwich halfway in my mouth when someone taps my shoulder. I turn around to see that Luca was the one to tap my shoulders. Everyone was looking at me.

I swallow the food and then address them.

"I am here. Now that introductions are done, do join me for lunch. Sorry I didn't wait for you all." I say neutrally going back to eating.

Everone joins me on the table and start eating. Alessandro and Francesco were sitting at the both ends of table. Alessandeo had Elijah and Luca to his either sides. Francesco had Rosie and Matteo to his either sides. Xavier was besides Rosie and Xander was besides Matteo. I sat leaving 2 seats next to Xander, in the middle for which I was greatful for. I don't think I had it in me to look into Xander's eyes.

Everyone continued dinner with light conversation. Xavier and Matteo tried to include me in their conversation but I kept on giving one word responses. Rosie changed the topic whenever they tried talking with me taking the attention of me. I was actually thankful for that. Elijah asked me somethings about myself but later stopped when he felt that I wasn't in mood for talking. He was silently eating other than interrupting when someone swore. Alessandro and Luca kept talking within themselves about business which I wasn't interested in. Francesco didn't stop trying to talk with me. He was persistent on getting me talk. I mostly tried to cut the conversation short. Throughout the dinner Rosie kept glaring daggers at me, which I ignored as always.

I kept observing everyone.

Xavier and Matteo were like Silas and Romeo but a lot more dumber but sensible version.

Xander was like Roman with 'I'll punch you if you talk to me' face.

Elijah was like Isabella, but he is a lot more overbearing than her but is still not as scary as her. I have seen Bella loose her cool at Romeo and Silas and trust me the didn't had courage to even see her for next whole week. She can be as bad as me when angry.

Luca was just Luca. Silent and observant but the smartest of all. Silent ones are always more dangerous.

Alessandro was back to 'I am the boss' mode. He likes being in control of things. He made sure everyone eat properly. It might seem like he was overbearing brother but I am the same when it comes to my friends. He is similar to me in so many ways.

And lastly Francesco. I don't want to think about it but he is so much like papa. He looked at me with so much love in eyes. Just like a parent should. Just like papa did. But mainly he didn't give up on me just like papa didn't.
