Hi everyone

Recap:

I believe my girls will finally complete the Deluca family. I think with a small smile on my face.

Alessandro's pov:

Dad has been acting like a kid since he got the news of twins. After mom died dad changed. He gave Lily a chance to be in our life but she also ran away. But when he got to know about the twins death, it was his breaking point.

He suffered from depression but never let anyone know his pain. He went into therapy for 4 years but never told us so that we don't feel responsible to help him. He was always there for us but he never let us be there for him. He believed it was his duty to be there for us nd not tge other way round, no matter how worse his mental health is.

Now everyone other than Matteo is already an adult. He wanted to give us our space. He wantee us to learn from our mistakes. Hence as we grew he stoped interfering in our things unless it concerned our safety. He didn't want to be an overbearing parent who kids grow up to dislike. He just wanted to be our friend with whom we can discuss everything.

There is a reason he didn't give me mafia yet. He felt that if he gives up the mafia title their would be no purpose for him in life. In the past few years he started getting back into his depressing state. None of us knew the reason but all we could do was be with him. He started overworking and avoiding his problems.

And now seeing him smile and laugh makes me happy. All I have ever truely wished was for his happiness. I truely believe that the twins will help him out without even realizing it. Just knowing about them has made him so happy. I can't wait for them to come live with us.

I remember how excited I was for the twins birth. Though I never accepted Lily as my mom but I always had immense respect for her. My 12 year old self was thankful for her beacause she was going to give me my sisters. I remember always following her around so that my sisters will know about my presense. Mom always said that baby can sense if you talk to them. I used to spend hours ranting about my days to Lily's growing stomach when she was asleep. I always promised to protect my sisters. Quite ironic considering I couldn't even see them for first 15 years of their life.

But I promise that I will give them all the love in the world. I will make sure to never let them feel left out.

As soon as we reached New York we rushed to our hotel to freshen up. Around 7:30 we both we ready and we started driving towards the police station.

I would be lieing if I say I am not nervous. I am not sure how would they react. After reaching the front desk we asked them about Officer Pablo. They directed us towards his office. As soon as we entered he started discussing all the legalities. I could see that my father was getting impatient.

"I am sorry to interrupt by is it okay if we meet with the twins first and then proceed with the legalities? " I ask him calmly hiding my inner dilemma. I was not sure what to feel. I was scared, happy, sad, angry, unsure and just confused about everything.

"Sure. However only Rosalie is here. After we informed her about custody situation, she was willing to live with you whenever everything is ready. However Alexia wasn't at home when everything happened. She is not yet aware about situation. I would suggest for us to go to school and meet her there." Officer says.

We soon reach another room with a bed at end. A girl was sitting curled up crying. Dad slowly walks towards her and sits beside her.

"Hey, I am Francesco. Your biological father. " Dad says softly. She looks up at him and gives him a small smile.

"Hi, i am Rosalie. You can call me Rosie." She responds wipping her tears.

Dad motions for me to come ahead and introduce myself. I kneel down on floor maintaining an eye contact.

"Hi, I am Alessandro, your eldest brother. You look so much like Lily." I force myself to talk as softly as possible so that I don't scare her. She was really beautiful. I could feel her flinch slightly at my rough voice but she nods slowly.

"Can I give you a hug?" Dad asks her. And she quickly nods saying a "Yes dad"

I could see the relief on my father's face seeing the acceptance. The officer comes interupting the moment.

"Could one of come with me. It would like get through the legalities. We should leave in an hour so that we can catch up Lexi during her break."

I give him a nod and start following him out.

After an hour we all leave to go to school. Rosie goes with her social worker to freshen up.

"I don't want to sound mean but I would like to prepare you for whatever happens there. I know Lexi would oppose to come live with you. She has a family here besides her mother, which she won't agree to leave. Try to not get hurt when she straight up refuses. She is going to need time to get used to you guys." Officer Pablo says to us.

I noticed that he referred to Alexia as Lexi. I had a feeling he knew her at a lot more personal level than he is trying to show.

"How are you so sure about what would she do?" Dad questions him thinking the same.

"Who would know better than me that how stubborn she is." He says almost sounding as if it physically hurts him to think about her.

"Oh my god, I am not snitching about her to her newly found family. God knows what she would do this time." He murmurs walking away motioning for us to follow him.

Me and dad both look at each other highly amused. This is quite fun to match a grown up police officer afraid about snitching on a kid.

We both follow him with our car. Rosie joins Officer Pablo with her social worker. We give her space trying to not overwelm her.

As soon as we reach school we go towards principal office. Officer Pablo explains him about the situation. He asks Rosie to sit down and makes an announcement for Alexia.

When I heard him announce Alexia Romano I was a bit confused. I looked towards dad and he returns the same look. Both the twins have different last names. It was quite odd but we didn't comment upon it, yet.

10 mins had already passed but their was no sign of Lexi. The principal rolls his eyes and makes another announcement for her. After a while she walks in. I don't think she noticed us but when I saw her face I was left frozen.

She look so much life me and dad. Same eyes.. Same hairs... Same facial features. She was tall aound 5'6. Her expressions were casual but not so welcoming. It was clear that she is not people's person.

She reminded me so much of my younger self. She was just perfect. I was so lost in noticing her face that I didn't hear what they were saying. I zoom back into conversation hearing her words.

"I am extremely sorry Mr. Pablo that I and my friends didn't receive your call. Perhaps I might have blocked your phone number from every person's phone after you tried snitching about me regarding some irrelevant matter to them. " She says to Officer Pablo giving him a fake smile. I give my father a side glance seeing him watching her with fond eyes.

"Kicking my dick is not irrelevant Miss. Romano. My wife was pissed because doctor said that I can't be sexually active for a month." Officer Pablo screams out in frustration. I couldn't control the laughter that left out of my mouth. I could see dad chuckling trying to control his laughter covering his mouth.

"I am extremely sorry Mr. Pablo. I wasn't aware Mrs. Pablo loves your dick more than you. But I'll surely write a written apology to her aswell." she says sarcastically.

Oh my god. This is pure gold. I am in love with this girl. I can't wait to get to know her more. I can already tell she is a troublemaker. She is going to bring all her brothers to their knees for her.

This chapter was bigger than my normal ones.
