I walked over to push the door open. As soon as the door inched open the sound of music filled my ears and a candle light beamed onto my face. I looked back to Kili who gestured for me to go in, I smiled and walked in. I squeezed through a group of men who were talking. "Sorry, excuse me." I squeaked whilst squeezing past.
It was packed and quite overwhelming. Kili followed close behind me, his hand placed upon my lower back and guided me through the crowded dancers swinging each other around, hand in hand. Up ahead in a corner I spotted an empty table right at the back in the corner of the tavern but to get to it we had to go through or around the people dancing.
"Just go around them." Kili bent over and said into my ear. With Kili behind me we squeezed past and finally made it to the table. The table had used jugs and a plate with crumbs on it that came from the people previous to us. Kili pulled out my wooden chair as I sat into it, as I went to sit down he pushed it in and I was sitting down, Kili went around to his side and sat down.
"It's busy." I said. "It's happy hour, it doesn't surprise me." Kili adjusted himself in his chair. We sat there for a while watching the dancers until a women approached us. She looked very young, 21 at the oldest. She had long curly, dark brown hair, plump lips, dark brown eyes and a mole just above her lip. She was wearing many different layers of red, white and brown fabrics with a dark brown corset. She also had heavy brown boots on her feet. She was holding a tray in her hand and a cloth in the other.
"Well ain't it a treat to have the prince and soon-to-be princess in our tavern. How can I help you tonight, your majesty's?" She said cheerfully with an accent. "Just a mug of ale for me thanks." Kili said taking his hands off the table. The lady turned to me. "I'll have the same." I smiled.
"Okay, I'll have that too you in a jiffy. Until then, let me give your table a wipe down." She took the jug and plate off the table and put it aside. With her cloth she wiped down the table to remove the crumbs and spilt ale. We don't have taverns back in the Shire so this is all a new experience to me. Once she was finished she picked up the tray and walked off.
"Nothing like the Shire." I told myself as I help my hands out in front of the candle on our table to try and heat my freezing hands. The lady came back with our drinks. " 'ere we go. One pint of ale for the prince," she placed the wood mug infront of Kili, he thanked her "And another for the lady. Will that be all for the night?" "Yes, thank you." Kili said. She curtsied and walked off.
Kili and I grabbed our mugs and took a swing. I tensed when the liquid burnt my throat. I felt the bubbles fizz in my mouth and finished with a bitter taste, yet it was nice. I wiped off my ale moustache and bit my lip. For a while we sat, talked, laughed and drank our ale until there was none left. "I'll go get some more." I stood up and grabbed the empty mugs. "Okay, just be careful." He warned. "I will." I made my way to the bar where I squeezed into an empty space between two men. "Two more ales please." The bartender nodded and hurried off to get my drink.
I was waiting for my drinks until a man turned around to me. He seemed about mid twenties, maybe older, he had scruffy brown hair and a small beard, he towered over me by a few inches, I may or may not be standing on a stool but that's beside the point. But I didn't like the looks of him.
"You a'right love?" He said, I could smell the alcohol off him. I cringed at the smell of beer and who knows what else. "Hello." I said awkwardly, I turned back to the bar hoping the bartender will be back soon. "You from 'round here? I ain't seen your pretty face in here before." He went to reach for me but I backed away. "Don't." I warned him. "Ay, don't be so grum'y, try and smile." He reached out to touch me again but I pushed him away. "Hey! Stop it!" He smiled with absent teeth and those that stood where almost rotting "Aw, don't be scared. I ain't gonna hurt-"
"She said stop." Kili. He was behind me, he looked at the man with fury in his eyes. He was close behind me and his fists were clenched. The man's eyes narrowed. "You the boyfriend?" He inched forward. "No, I'm her husband," He stepped forward, I stood behind him "And you have no idea who I am. I am the prince and I could have you killed for ever touching my wife. So don't try me," He slightly lowered his voice "Now what your going to do is that you are going to turn around, leave the tavern, and never go near her again. Got it?"
The man backed away and rolled his shoulders. He cleared his throat looked away and looked back. "This was just a simple misunderstandin'" He said as he backed away from the bar. "I guess it was," Kili was still furious "Now leave." I was surprised at the fire in his eyes. The man sniffed and walked out the tavern with the door slamming behind him.
"Kili I-" Kili turned to me and his whole mood change. His shoulders relaxed and his eyes softened, he held onto my arms. "Are you okay?" He scanned my face. "Yes, I'm fine. Thank you for saving me." "It shouldn't have happened. Do you want to go to our room? I think that's enough for the night." "Yes, that would be nice." I think i've had enough tonight.

We were at the doors of the masters house, Bard's home. This house was by far the largest, it had huge wooden doors, 3 floors and huge stain glass windows. Lake-Town has become unrecognizable. Kili pushed the door open and let me walk in first. It was the lounge room, there was a large fireplace to my right and to my left were walls of bookshelves with a lounge chair in the centre with a large run under it. In front of me were two staircases that met at the bottom. Everything was either made out of wood, some sort of gold or silver.
Infront of the fireplace Sigrid was sat in an armchair reading a book. She heard us walking across the wooden floors and looked up. "Oh, it's you two. Da is in his office or I can show you to your room if you like?" "Do you mind showing us the way, don't want to disturb Bard." I said. "Okay, follow me." She closed her book and placed in on the chair. She began to walk up the staircase, we followed.
She walked us through the house, it was amazing. From the carpets on the floor to the paintings hanging on the wall. We were in a corridor with doors on each side. "Here, this is your room. If you need anything Da's office is just down the hall." She pointed down the hall. "Thank you, Sigrid," Kili said "Tell your father I said thanks." Sigrid held her dress and curtsied, I did the same and she walked off. I approached the door and turned the knob.
(Y/N) and Kili's room:
We walked inside and I hopped onto the bed whilst Kili hung his coat over a chair. "It's nice, this place." He said taking off his boots. "It is, Lake-Town has really upgraded, no thanks to you and Bard and the rest of the town." I smiled. "I can tell you it hasn't been easy, especially with you gone. It's been much easier now knowing that you are here." He smirked. "So cheesy, Kili." I chucked. "Yeah well." He shrugged.
Kili began to get changed so I decided to do the same. I reached down for my satchel by the bed. It was only when I picked up my satchel was when I realised I had brought absolutely nothing. I hung my head and sighed. "What is it?" Kili asked as he took off his tunic, so I could see his bare chest. "I forgot to bring any night-ware. Oh God." I face planted myself.
"Here." Kili chucked a piece of clothing at me. I unfolded the clothing and it was a tunic, which i'm sure it was Kili's. "But this is yours." "And? It's not worn I brought an extra one just in case." "I can't wear your tunic." I chucked. But Kili smirked, he turned to me. "You've done it before."
I felt my face get hot. "Fine, you win. I'll wear this." Kili's smirk grew bigger. I sighed as I tried to take off my corset but I couldn't untie the back. "Kili?" My back was facing him. "Yeah?" "I cant untie my corset, can you help me?" I tried to untie the ribbon on the back of my corset but I couldn't undo the knot that I somehow made. "Come here."
I walked over to Kili. I turned so my back was to him and I pulled my hair over my shoulder. Butterflies were in stomach and I could feel myself blush as he untied my corset. I could feel his breath on my neck and I could feel his hands undoing my corset. After what seemed like all eternity of silence and hot breaths he finally finished. "Done."
"Thank you." I slipped off my corset and placed it on a stool at the foot of the bed. I felt a bit insecure to change in-front of Kili but he doesn't seem to mention anything, which made me feel better. I pulled off my dress and I was only in my undergarments.
I turned to grab the tunic but froze when I saw Kili looking at me, his eyes trailing up and down my body. His mouth parted and he looked like he was in another world. I placed a hand on my hip and smirked. "My eyes are up here, your majesty." I pointed to my face. He locked eyes with me and smirked.
I turned around and pulled the tunic over me, it just about reached my thighs, my undergarments could slightly be seen. But as soon as I turned back around Kili was right there. He grabbed my face and placed a hard kiss on my lips, I fell into the kiss and snaked my arms around his neck, he let out a deep groan with made butterflies form in my stomach.
He pulled away and held me by my waist. We starred into each other's eyes, I felt myself burning up. Kili squeezed my waist tighter and his lips trailed down my neck. I placed my hands on his chest as he claimed the crook of my neck with his lips. That's a mark i'll have to hide tomorrow.
I gulped as the butterflies in my stomach were going crazy, his hands trailed up and down my body and came back down to my waist. "(Y/N)." He groaned. "Kili." I barley whispered. My knees buckled when Kili trailed back up to my jawline. Kili noticed my knees buckling so he wrapped his arm down by my thighs and hoisted me up so my legs were wrapped around his torso. Kili locked eyes with me as he placed me onto the bed. He propped himself on-top of me and continued to kiss me. My hands trailed down his bare chest, my fingers outlining each muscle.
It wasn't until Kili's hand snaked up my thigh I knew where this was going. I pulled away and looked up a Kili who's face was inches from mine. "We can't." I whispered. "Why not?" He whispered back with a deep voice. "We just can't, not here. And, to be completely honest, I think Tilda is staying in the room next to us." Kili groaned. "I suppose your right."
He rolled off me and laid down next to me. "Another time." I said whilst I rolled over to Kili. He wrapped an arm around me and held me impossibly close. "If you say so. Goodnight, my love." "Goodnight, Kili." I sat up and placed a soft kiss on his lips. His hand brushed through my hair as he pulled me toward him. I pulled away and pushed a strand of hair off his face. I smiled. "I love you, Kili." "I love you too." My smile grew and I fell back onto the bed with Kili's arm under me. Tangled up in the bedsheets Kili and I fell asleep in each other's arms. The perfect night.
