I woke up very excited for Halloween!

Every year we find Halloween costumes online and order them, or if you're more crafty then you make yours or edit one you saw online.

Paris has spent the better part of the past few days adding what he calls "the finishing touches" to his costume.

The best part is, none of us know what the others will be til we get dressed and reveal our outfits. Well, other than Silas, seeing as he picked up Birch's costume. He said he's going to be adorable! Now, I can't wait til Birch finally goes trick or treating for the first time!

Pretty soon we settle into watching Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus, Birch said he really wants a kitten like Binx!

Myka ran into the room with his phone raised for a picture and a big witchy black cat squishmallow. Birch looked at it in excitement, I could tell he was bursting with excitement over the toy.

"Here, I got this for you while shopping the other day. I hope you like it." Myka said as he handed Birch the toy with a bright smile on his face.



Birch squelched in excitement and happily excepted the toy and gave Myka a big hug and said, "Thank you! I absolutely love it! I'm gonna name her Luna like the moon!"

Myka took a few photos of Birch with the toy, it was so sweet how much it made him happy.

We laughed and talked for a bit until it was time for me to take Birch upstairs to get ready for Halloween, I just knew tonight was going to be great!



Paris definitely wanted to be a super villain!

We all had such good fun picking out our costumes this year, but I have to say Myka as Barbie had to be my favorite!

But it was so cold outside that it started snowing so Birch had to wear his winter coat and boots that Silas bought him online. We really need to take him for a proper shopping trip soon!

But all in all, the underage boys got to get their bags overflowing with candy and other treats, and some houses even had Jell-O shots for the parents and guardians!

My favorite costume out had to of been an Addams family group of friends, the Wednesday just looked so realistic! And the suit on Gomez was fabulous!

After that we got in and defrosted by the fire with hot chocolate and the last movie of the night, Practical Magic. Birch was asleep pretty fast, still in his pumpkin onesie and his new stuffie Luna.

We had a good Halloween, now all we have to do is hide the candy from the candy stealing gremlin, Roman!
