Forgiveness and Selflessness are the qualities of the possessed. They represent eternal virtue. ( #Quote by Krishna# )

Two days swiftly passed in excitement and anxiety, for the people of Hastinapura. A new dawn. A new beginning. How ironic it is, that the day we think is going to be normal, turns out to be the one of the most crucial day of our life.

Something like that will happen to the people of Hastinapura, who went about the day, the same way, as they do every other day. None of them were aware of the storm coming their way and was neither aware of the rainbow that can lead them away.

Karna finished his normal routine of yoga in front of the Sun to return home and see that his mother is humming happily while she tidied the room.

He smiled at his mother's happiness.

"Radha maa, is anand ke picche koi visshes karan? (Any special reason behind this happiness, Mother?) " asked Karna.

"Haa karan hai na! (Of course there is a reason)Today is the day of the Kala Pradarshan. I am glad you decided to participate! Now I can see my son's warrior skills." said Radha, happily.

Karna hummed in reply. Truthfully, he still did not see the reason behind his participation. But if that made his Radha maa happy, who was he to refuse?

He wondered why Advika wanted him to participate, so badly. He remembered that two days before, she had come from whatever work she had, distracted. She had been fine the next morning, but she had been a bit tensed from then. He had no idea, why she was tensed. He knew that if he asked, she would avoid the topic and refuse to answer.

Advika entered with two plates of food in her hand.

"Kaki, Sakha, bhojan kar lijiye!(Have your food) We have to leave remember! Today is the day!" said she, her face having a sweet excited smile.

Karna smiled. He looked critically, observing her as she spoke with his mother. She did not seemed tensed now. That means whatever matter had been troubling her, had sorted itself out.

He sighed satisfied.

"Putra, is the food not to your liking?" asked Radha, wondering why her son was not eating. Before Karna could reply, Advika said" Are kaki, I think sakha is worried..about the competition you know! I heard some of the Princes will also participate!"

Radha laughed, while Karna glared at her. Advika simply smiled sweetly back at him.

"Aise koi baat nehi hai maa,(There is nothing like that mother) I am not worried. The food is amazing as usual!" said Karna, pacifying his mother.

"Thik hai putra! (Alright son) You finish eating fast..we will leave soon." replied Radha, as she left the two best friends.

Karna looked at Advika who finished eating the last morsel of food from her plate.

"Advika?" called Karna.

" Hmm..." said Advika.

" You are hiding something from me!" said Karna, knowing he was right.

Advika looked back at Karna. She knew he was right. He knew he was right. There was no need to pretend to not know he was taking about.

" Yess!" she affirmed.

" Can you tell me about whatever it is?" asked Karna.

" No, I cannot sakha. It is not my tale." replied Advika.

Karna hummed to acknowledge her response.

" I will know?" questioned Karna.

" You will, very soon!" replied Advika smiling.

Karna relaxed after that affirmation. He got up after he finished eating so he could get ready for the upcoming Kala Pradarshan.

He wondered what the day would bring for him.

Hastinapura had been decorated beautifully for the Kala Pradarshan. The palace was also decorated with flowers and bright clothes.

Rajmata Kunti and Maharani Gandhari had decorated their home as much as they could for the occasion. Both were tensed for different reasons. While Kunti was tensed about finding her eldest, Gandhari was worried about the change she noticed in Dritharashtra, in the past few days, and not only in him but also in her eldest son. Bhishma and Vidur was actually happy and excited to find their Yuvraja. Bhishma wondered what kind of a person was his eldest grand nephew, while Vidur thought about the various plans Shakuni would be making for his new nephew.

Shakuni was anxious to know about this new player in the game of politics, according to him. He had been blindsided by the news of someone elder to both Yuddhisthira and Duryodhan. He wondered how he can play this to his advantage.

Duryodhan was angry, very angry. He did not liked the challenge presented by this new older cousin brother. He deserved the throne, but this person was standing between him and the throne. He already hated him.

Bhishma watched as the Kala pradarshan time neared. He was standing on the large balcony that jutted out from the tower in the arena. The arena was huge with stands in half moon circle. The half circle started from the left and right of the tower and ended at the huge doors, right in front of the tower at a distance. There was another seating place created for the warriors to sit.

Neither the King or any other royals or princes had arrived. Only Bhishma and Vidur was there as they were in charge of this entire pradarshan.

Already the citizens and warriors had started to arrive. The warriors stood down at the arena, while the audience settled itself among the stands. Some people were still mingling around the arena, talking to others.

Bhishma wondered who was Pandu and Kunti's eldest son among them? Even the spy has described him as divine. He wanted to see him. None of the person who had entered through the gates, looked anything other than ordinary, to him. He was here so soon, for this very reason.

" Did you see him, tatshree? " asked Vidur, a bit excited.

" Nehi (No) Vidur! All of them seem very ordinary warriors." replied Bhishma.

" I hope he comes soon, because it's almost time for the royals to arrive!" said Vidur.

Bhishma did not reply, but looked at the gate. His eyes widened when he saw four figures entering. The elder couple of them immediately went off to the stands. While he watched as the younger couple of the two stopped after entering the gates to converse.

"Vidur! " whispered Bhishma. Vidur looked at his Tatshree and then followed his gaze. His eyes widened.

There on the entrance stood, Karna and Advika. They were speaking about something. The sun rays fell on Karna in such a manner that made his Kundals stand out. He was wearing a simple everyday clothing. He had no armor on himself as he was not going on a war. His angavastra was placed on one shoulder and end of it was held on his other arm. He had his usual ornaments on. It did not look like he was here for participating at all. His bow and arrows was not there as well. Though there were a few daggers hidden within his clothing, not that any one knew, other than Advika. Advika also wore simple clothing. There were two daggers hidden within her clothing as well. While they were in non threatening territory, it was still better to be cautious. They both were experienced warriors, therefore they kept at least one weapon on themselves at all times. Neither felt safe without the additional protection, even at safe places.

Karna and Advika parted after Advika wished him luck and reminded him to not use divine weapons. In reply, he said that he did not think anyone over here possessed the knowledge of said weapons, unless his guru bhrata Drona or Bhishma, wished to fight him. Which according to him was very unlikely. Advika had laughed at that, and went away to join his adopted parents on the stands, leaving him at the arena. None of them wanted to show case the fact they had divine parents at all.

Of course, they had no idea what destiny has planned, do they? Bhishma looked at the lone male standing at the entrance. He had seen him with that female, who went among the stands. Both were different. His experience told him that the male was an excellent warrior and had the capability to be even better. His choice of simple clothing without any armor signified the fact, he was very confident in his skills and in his skin. This was a sign of an extraordinary warrior. Bhishma felt an involuntary smile play on his lips. His instincts told him this man was the one. The Yuvraja. The person about whom the spy spoke about. The eldest of the both Kauravas and Pandavas. He was Kunti's eldest son.

He had not gotten the chance to observing the female. He had a feeling she was different as well. She had moved too quick, for him to observe her properly. Bhishma smiled. He wanted to see what the young man could do. Vidur watched both the male and the women at the entrance. Both had a divine aura to them. His eyes landed on the male's Kundals. The spy has informed about them and so had Kunti Bhabhishree. Perhaps, they can see the kavach too. He observed as both of them parted, wondering who the female was to the male. He watched the male's choice of attire and lack of weapons, wondering how he will perform.

All the warriors settled on the arena, while the talking in the stands died down, as a huge trumpet and drums were blown. The conch shell also joined after a while. Maharaja Dritharashtra and Maharani Gandhari entered. Beside them was Rajmata Kunti. Rajkumari Dushala and Gandhar raj Shakuni was behind them. Following them was the Kauravas except Duryodhan and Dusshasan. The King and Queen sat on their thrones in the open balcony of the tower facing the arena. Rajmata Kunti also sat on her throne beside Dritharashtra. Her throne was a bit higher signifying her status. Dushala sat beside her aunt, while Shakuni had his own throne a bit away from the royal family of Kurus. The Kauravas sat surrounding their Mamashree. Bhishma's throne was in the front near the Balcony edge as he will be the proctor of the matches held in the Kala Pradarshan. Vidur took a seat beside Kunti and Dushala. Guru Drona and Guru Kripa were also there. Both of them sat beside each other near Bhishma.

Bhishma stood up to open and start the Kala pradarshan, but.....A huge gust of wind arrived suddenly.

Guru Parshurama appeared all of a sudden as the wind left as soon as it arrived standing right in the middle of the balcony.

Both Drona and Bhishma's eyes has widened at seeing their teacher. Both looked at each other wondering why he appeared and who gave the invite. When both of them nodded negatively ateach other at the same time, they were very confused. Still propriety demanded they respect their teacher. So they went forward to greet him. Karna wanted to facepalm at his teacher's abrupt arrival. He knew his reason to attend this Kala Pradarshan. How had he even known Karna was participating? Karna nearly groaned. This would be a very troublesome day. He knew it. ( He had no idea how true he was! ) Karna decided he is going to blame Advika for this! She was the one who forced him, after all.

"Pranipat Gurudev! " Both Bhishma and Drona greeted. The other royals also payed their respects.

" Kalyan Ho! " replied Parshurama.

Bhagwan Parshurama knew that his two dear students were very confused at his sudden arrival. He also knew his other absolutely darling of a student was groaning in his mind at his arrival. He chuckled mentally. He was going to have so much fun.

He looked at the arena to see the warriors. His eyes immediately went towards his student Karna. Karna bowed his head subtly at his teacher to pay respect. Parshurama blessed him. He intoned in his mind 'Vijaya bhava'. He wanted to have some fun so he decided to keep the suspense regarding his presence till the end.

"When will the archery competition begin?" asked Parshurama.

" It is the second competition of the day. It's after the spear competition, Gurudev.." said

Bhishma.

" Keep it at last! I will stay till the end." said Parshurama.

" Ji Gurudev." replied both Bhishma and Drona...wondering what was going on. Bhagwan Parshurama sat in front of his students near the balcony edge. He wanted a front row seat after all.

Bhishma and Drona was very worried about their teacher's sudden appearance. He never came without a reason after all. They prayed everything went well.

Kunti did not now why Guru Parshurama was here. But if he was here, it must be a good sign. She was already anxious about her eldest, she did not want to worry more. Maharaja and Maharani simply took it as a good sign and thought perhaps tatshree had invited him. Shakuni's plan went down the drain. He wanted to cast doubts about the unknown Yuvraja's capabilities, but that would not be possible. He did not wish to anger the great Bhagwan Parshurama, who was known for his anger as well as his battle powers. He gritted his teeth in anger and clenched his jaw as another one of his plans crumbled.

The others simply excepted his presence and turned their attention to the Kala pradarshan, that's about to begin. Bhishma blew his white conch.

" I wish to start this ceremony officially by paying respect to the Lord Narayan. I pay my respect to the chief guest, to Bhagwan Parshurama, for gracing us with his presence.

To all the warriors present in the arena, I would like to announce that some of the Princes would participate. During the challenges everyone will be the same. No discrimination will take place, neither will it be tolerated. I now ask the Princes who will be participating to join the rest of the warriors down in the arena." announced Bhishma.

He waited for the princes to join the warriors. The Pandavas spilled in the arena from the side doors in their armor and warrior clothes. They immediately noticed Karna and made a beeline towards him.

While Duryodhan and Dusshasan went exactly opposite to them. Both wondering why the Pandavas decided to go straight towards the stranger at the end. Bhishma's eyebrows rose at the Pandavas action. It seemed to him they already knew about who their eldest brother was, while Bhagwan Parshurama laughed internally.

Kunti's eyes twinkled as her sons went towards a stranger towards the end. She guessed it was their way to let her know who her eldest son was. She looked at the male carefully. Her motherly instincts screamed at her as it recognized her child. Her eldest. Her eyes glistened as she observed the male. The male looked radiant to her even from such a distance. His Kundals glinted in the Sun, which made her heart shudder. His posture screamed danger yet respect. He was not wearing a armor, neither had any weapons on him. She wondered how he was going to participate. She prayed for all her six sons victory.

Karna wondered why five among the seven princes participating came straight towards him. He glanced from the corner of his eye at the people around him. At his right stood a young man with a bow in his hand. At his left stood a man with a spear. Beside the spear man stood another with a mace in his hand. Beside the bow man, stood two twins with a sword and an axe in their hand respectively.

He wondered why he decided to participated again? He was so confused and had no idea how he was going to deal with the princes, whose name he did not even knew. ( Poor Karna! thought Destiny. )

Advika laughed internally at the expression on Karna's face as Guru Parshurama arrived. She was still giggling over the Pandavas reaction at seeing Karna. She knew Karna, her priye sakha, would be very confused. She can't wait till the competition begun.

In Kailash.

" Swami!!! " called an excited Devi Parvati. She took two steps at a time as she approached where her husband was about to meditate. Mahadev wondered what had gotten into his Gauri today.

"Swami! Good you have not started meditating yet." said Mata Parvati. She took a deep breath before she continued. Mahadev felt his eyebrows rise. He still did not understand his wife's sudden excitement.

"Today is Kala Pradarshan! We are watching together! You are not allowed to meditate until it is over" continued Mata Parvati excitedly as she sat beside her husband.

" Kala pradarshan? " repeated Mahadev, very confused. As far as he knew today was a normal day.

"Offo Swami! Karna is participating I want to watch. So will you!" said Mata Parvati, a sweet frown on her face.

"Thik hai priye! (Alright love)We will watch." replied Mahadev. Mata Parvati's face immediately eased into a sweet smile. They both turned to watch the bhulok.

Back In Hastinapura.

"Now the first competition of the Kala pradarshan starts. The first competition is that of the spear.

All the warriors who use the spear as there primary weapon are to remain in the arena, while the rest of the warriors are to go to the warriors stand in the tower. Please proceed." continued Bhishma.

The warriors who did not use spear left the arena and went to the stand. Karna went straight towards a corner which was separated by a huge pillar. He really did not wish to meet anyone else.

The Pandavas looked at each other and followed him. Yuddhisthir stayed back in the arena. When Karna noticed four of the five princes follow him, he nearly groaned aloud at having to socialize. He hated socializing. He was a lone wolf. The only company he preferred was that of his family and Advika. And Advika was as anti social as him, not that she would ever admit. She was a very stubborn person. Nonetheless,he did not wish to offend the princes, but he did wonder what they wanted with him.

"Pranipat!" greeted Arjun.

Karna blinked before replying,"Pranipat."

" I am Arjun, that's bhrata Bhima and those two are Nakul and Sahadev." introduced Arjun. He only knew this way to get both his jyesht name and get to know him.

Karna blinked again, before sighing. He realized they are here to stay. ( How true you are! thought Destiny )

" My name is Karna, Rajkumaro! " replied Karna.

" No! Rajkumar kehne ki avashykta nehi hai.( No! There is no need to call us princes) Please address us by our names." said Arjun, horrified. He did not want to be called Rajkumar by his own eldest brother! That's a horrifying thought.

Karna raised his eyebrows at that but nodded. They were nice, not haughty or rude like he thought. Perhaps they would be good company. The four Pandavas surrounded Karna on both sides. The twins took his left while Arjun and Bhima took his right side. All the children of

Kunti looked at the arena, to watch the first competition. The competition for the weapon of spear was fierce. The challengers were competent and experienced. But at the end Yuddhisthir managed to won. He was not hurt, not by much at least. Just a few scratches here and there. He had a small cut on the biceps.

Bhishma, Vidur and Kunti had a proud smile on their faces. Duryodhan and Dusshasan gritted their teeth.

Arjun, Bhima, Nakul and Sahadev were beaming. Karna did not know why, but he felt proud too. He impulsively shot a small smile at Yuddhisthir. The return smile was absolutely blindingly bright. Karna was very amused.. Yuddhisthir did not think his elder brother would smile at him without even knowing him. He smiled back. He walked towards the place where his brothers stood. Nakul immediately went to him to check the wounds.

" I am Yuddhisthir!" he introduced himself.

" Karna." replied his elder brother. He smiled at him and got a return smile back. When Nakul was about to touch the wounds, Karna's voice stopped him.

"Open the armor first, and then wash your hands before touching the wound!"

Nakul nodded as he obeyed. When Yuddhisthir's hands went to remove the armor, a larger hand with long fingers gently swatted his hands away gently.

" Your hands are dirty too! You should not touch a wound by dirty hands, it has a chance of getting infected!" scolded Karna gently.

Arjun, Bhima, Nakul and Sahadev was very pleased.

Yuddhisthir had no idea about what to say. This was the first time he was getting scolded, though gently. He decided to enjoy being pampered.

" Why are you all just looking, help him!" said Karna sternly.

All of them obeyed like obedient children. Karna was very confused. Why were the princes listening to him so easily, and they were obeying as well! He shook his head deciding to take things as they come. If he starts pondering about it, he will never stop! Advika smiled from the distance as she watched the brothers interacting, though a bit hesitantly.

"Why is touching a wound after washing our hands important?" asked Bhima curious.

" The wound no matter how small, has a chance of getting infected. The dust and dirt in our hands can cause swelling and lead to various diseases." explained Karna, his voice soft and gentle.

Karna wondered why he felt so protective of the five princes. By the time, they finished talking Bhishma had already announced the second stage, which is Mace.

Bhima went down. So did Duryodhan and Dusshasan. Karna stood leaning on the railing to watch the ongoing fight. Yuddhisthir stood beside Karna, as Arjun moved to where Bhima was standing. The twins took Karna's left side. Karna glanced at Yuddhisthir to see if he was having any trouble with those wounds. He could have asked, but that would have been tactless and insulting for a warrior.

He wondered why he was feeling so protective of him. All three of them defeated the rest of the competitors very quickly. Karna noticed two of the princes being very aggressive, compared to Bhima.

" Who are those two?" asked Karna.

" They are the two eldest Kauravas. That is Duryodhan while the other one is Dusshasan." replied Yuddhisthir.

"They are being way too aggressive. This is just a competition, not a war." said Karna.

The others noticed the same in the arena. All of them had frowns on their faces as they watched. Soon Bhima defeated Dusshasan.

" Great, it's going to be a melee." said Karna groaning.

" You don't like melee?" asked Nakul curious.

" No. They take too much time. " replied Karna.

Arjuna took advantage of the conversation to ask his own question.

" What is your preferred weapon?"

"Bow." answered Karna, wondering why Arjun was smiling brightly all of a sudden.

" I thought you preferred a sword?" blurted Nakul, before he bit his tongue. The other Pandavas eyes widened behind Karna's back and they glared at him.

"How do you know that?" asked Karna, his brow creating a furrow.

Nakul thought how to get out of the mess he created. His mind stumbled upon an idea.

" I use a sword. I thought you may use one too." replied Nakul, thanking God in his mind. The other Pandavas all sighed out of relief.

Karna knew it was not the entire truth, but did not question the young prince. He did not reply further as he did feel like it. He simply nodded in acknowledgement.

" Look, the melee ended!" said Sahadev.

All of them turned towards the arena to watch both Bhima and Duryodhan announced as the winners of the mace round. Up on the balcony Kunti, Vidur and Bhishma smiled for Bhima proudly, while Dritharashtra, Gandhari and Shakuni was pleased at Duryodhan.

Bhima was grumbling about the shared victory as he came to where his brothers were standing. Yuddhisthir tried to make him understand and he listened but everyone could see he was not pleased. The other pandavas teased him to lighten his sour mood.

"Dukhi kyu ho?(Why are you sad?) You did win." asked Karna.

" It is not a win. I had to share it with him!" replied Bhima, grumbling.

" To Kya hua?(So what?) A win is a win, whether a dual victory or not" said Karna.

" I don't want to share it with him. He is the most vilest creature in the entire planet." said Bhima, finally revealing what was bothering him. Bhima wondered if he was about to be scolded. While Yuddhisthira thought how would his elder brother deal with this. Karna looked at Bhima for a while and then chuckled. Bhima flushed red in embarrassment while the other four looked confused.

" Seriously though, never ever change. This is one of the most precious qualities to have. A pure heart. Not every one is blessed like you." said Karna, a smile playing on his lips, as he sat beside the giant man.

Bhima also had a smile on his face at his jyesht's words. It was true though. Bhima was like a coconut. Hard on the outside and soft on the inside.

Bhima looked at his jyesht who sat beside him, as he spoke sternly. The other four also paid attention.

"But, about the topic of sharing a win with Prince Duryodhan. I would like to say that both of you deserved it. One must always respect their enemy's or rival's strength. You may not like them because of various reason, whether it is politically or their actions or their views, but always respect their power. Only then will you be able to win against them and stop underestimating them. You cannot deny both of you are similar in strength." said Karna.

Bhima thought about his jyesht words. Arjun had a glint in his eyes as he revalued everything he knew. The twins also was in deep thought.

Yuddhisthira smiled gratefully. His elder brother had explained it so well to their brothers. He had tried to tell them that they should not judge so easily. They would have listened and obeyed but would not think about it at all. He felt his posture relax as he thought how his elder brother was already taking over his position of being the head of the family. He decided he was going to enjoy being the younger one for once.

Karna thought whether he had crossed his limits. He did not know why he said that. It was an impulsively decision on his part. He wondered what was going on with him.

" You are right. I never thought about it this was. I never respected his skill. I will try though." said Bhima, a bit thoughtfully. Karna nodded.

Immediately they heard Bhishma announcing the Sword and Axe competition that will be held simultaneously as there were less competitors.

Nakula and Sahadeva looked at each other and then did something that bought a smile on the other Pandavas faces while Karna was shocked. They bent down to touch his feet. Karna blessed them instantly, on a reflex.

" Vijaya bhava." blessed Karna, wondering why the princes took his blessing.

The twins went down to the arena, while Bhima grumbled he was tired. So he was going to take a nap.

Yuddhisthira, Karna and Arjun stood at the railings to watch the upcoming fight in that order. When Nakul and Sahadev won their fights with ease, Karna smiled softly. Both the twins were in sync with each other as if they were two body and a soul. Their victory gained proud looks from Kunti, Bhishma and Vidur. All three were very happy at the continued victory of the Pandavas. Dhritarashtra was sad that only Duryodhan won while Dusshasan lost. Gandhari was happy regardless of who won. Shakuni was disturbed at the gaining popularity of the pandavas among the praja of Hastinapur.

The only fight that was left was that of the bow. This was the most awaited of the fights. Arjun and Karna looked at each other, a small smile on their faces. Bhagwan Parshurama was smiling, which caused startled looks to appear at Bhishma and Drona's faces. Both looked at each other, very confused over why their teacher smiled all of a sudden. While Parshurama was chuckling in his mind over his students confused looks. He wondered how he can make this interesting for Karna. He knew very well that his young student was forced to participate, by his dear friend. He knew the girl Advika was very perceptive. Nonetheless, he knew Karna would be very bored. He had a feeling his student was about to do something that will cause every one's brain to haywire from shock.

Advika felt a sense of foreboding and her senses tingling. Karna was about to do something that was going to be troublesome. Great! she wondered, what was going to happen now. Karna has a small smirk in his face as he reached the arena alongside Arjuna. He was going to have fun. It was the least he could do, after he was forced to participate. Arjuna wondered what was going through his jyesht's mind. He was smirking and had a mischievous look in his eyes.

Karna was the only standing empty handed, that is, without a bow. Bhishma and Kunti wondered why he did not have a bow. While both Parshurama and Advika wanted to slap their foreheads.

" Where is your bow, yoddha?" asked Bhishma, curious what the radiant man would say.

" I will not require it, yet!" said Karna. His tone confident and at ease. Arjun thought what was his jyesht planning.

The other Pandavas who were watching were baffled. Bhima had woken up at the start of the competition and he was scratching his head at his eldest brother's ploy.

"He is very overconfident." said Kripa, distaste clear in his voice.

Parshurama looked sharply at him. Slight anger clear on his face. Kripa noticed it and bowed his head, a bit cowed at the sage's anger.

Drona was about to agree with Kripa but stayed quite at the face of his Gurudev's anger. Bhishma wondered why his gurudev was all of a sudden angry that also on behalf of the yoddha. But he could not start the fight, not until everyone had there preferred weapon.

" I cannot start the fight, unless everyone has a weapon. It is against warrior code to fight against someone who does not have a weapon to protect himself." said Bhishma. Karna thought for a while, before he shrugged. He outstretched his left hand, a soft white glow appeared. A beautiful dhanush was there. The Vijaya bow, that Bhagwan Parshurama had gifted him.

"Ab? (Now?) " questioned Karna.

Bhishma nodded a bit stunned at the display. Arjun was gaping at his eldest brother, while Karna sent a smile his way. Bhagwan Parshurama smirked at the shocked faces of Kripa and Drona.

"He is confident, not overconfident." said Parshurama. Kripa gulped before nodding. The rest of the audience was in awe, while Advika simply smiled exasperated. Bhishma announced the opening of the bow competition. The challengers were enraged at Karna for his display. While the other wanted to eliminate the prince quickly. They shot arrows at both Arjuna and Karna.

Arjuna replied by shooting his arrows. Karna simply moved swiftly like a playful predator to avoid the arrows, never shooting his own.

A challenger shoot an arrow at Karna when his back was turned. Arjuna was enraged. He was about to shout, when a sight awed him. Karna had turned at the right time to see the arrow moving towards him. It was coming at a fast pace. He won't be able to move, quickly. So he did not move.

His Kavach appeared covering his chest and also moving down his arms. The arrow laid at his feet as it strike the armor. Before anyone could blink he had stretched his bow and launched an arrow right at the hand of the challenger, which made him drop his bow, therefore he was disqualified.

Arjuna moved too as he took the other competitors out of the challenge. The only two who was left was Karna and Arjuna. Both were standing facing each other having no idea what to do. Bhishma had been amazed. When the yoddha's kavach has appeared, he had been left stumped. Kunti wiped her happy tears as she smiled. Her heart felt happy and heavy. A weird but a perfect condition.

While on the other hand Shakuni held an amazed look on his face. He felt a small amount of fear. Duryodhan gulped as he saw his eldest brother. The kauravas were in various state of fear, anger and confusion.

Gandhari was happy for Kunti and Maharaja Dhritarashtra was insecure about the throne and happy about completing his promise.

Parshurama decided he had enough emotion for the day.

"Bhishma." called Parshurama.

Drona shook Bhishma when he did not answer immediately.

"J-i- Gurudev? " stuttered Bhishma, embarrassed at his inattentiveness.

" Ask the two dhanurdhar's to introduce themselves along with their Guru." said Parshurama. Bhishma nodded.

" Warriors, the esteemed warrior sage Bhagwan Parshurama had asked you both to give your introduction and under whose tutelage you had learnt your skills." Arjuna nodded while Karna had a scowl on his face.

"Aap aisa kyu kar rahe hai? (Why are you doing this?) " asked Karna, directly to Parshurama.

Advika slapped her forehead, while everyone looked wide eyed at Karna. Bhishma was about to apologize on behalf of his eldest grand nephew and then he would scold him to apologize as well, when we heard the sound of a chuckle.

Parshurama laughed at the indigent tone in his young student's voice. According to Parshurama, Karna looked like a cat bristling in anger, a rather cute one too. (Of course, no one should know about that! )

Bhishma was amazed. He had never heard him laugh before.Smile yes, laugh no. Drona and Kripa had no idea how to take the sudden turn in the events. Parshurama decided to pity the onlookers who had no idea. All the royals looked confused and a bit panicked too. Kunti felt faint. Why did her eldest son wants to die, before she could even meet him properly? She prayed everything went well.

"Ask them, it will be clear." said Parshurama to Bhishma.

Bhishma nodded at the warriors. Karna looked at Arjuna, who was still looking wide eyed.

"Tum pehle bollo! (You go ahead first!) " said Karna. Arjuna nodded.

" I am Arjuna, one of the sons of the late Maharaja Pandu and Maharani Kunti. I learnt under Gurudev Dronacharya, alongside my brothers and cousins." introduced Arjuna. Karna sighed. Before he can open his mouth, Parshurama interrupted,

"Tell the entire truth. Including both your gurus. " said Parshurama. Karna scowled at him, before nodding resigned to his fate. Advika tried not to giggle. Though she was very unsuccessful.

"I am Radhay Karna. I have various names, which I am in no mood to tell. I do not know my real parents. I was saved by two people, who are also my adopted parents. Radha maa and Adiratha Pitashree. My gurus are Bhagwan Parshurama and Dev guru Brihaspati." Karna introduced himself.

Arjuna blinked and Bhishma and Drona was stumped. The other royals had a gob smacked impression on their faces.Parshurama was smiling widely as he looked at Karna, who glared at him...very annoyed at his teacher. After a while, Kunti beamed widely. She would meet with his adopted parents and thank them for caring for him when she could not. Shakuni gulped. He now understood why was Bhagwan Parshurama here. Kripa and Drona also got why Parshurama was angry on behalf of him. Drona looked at his student Arjuna and his guru bhrata Karna, who was the eldest of the royal princes, wondering who would win. Bhishma asked the warriors to battle it out in an all out fight, in a very dazed tone. He was still digesting the fact his grand nephew had the same gurus as him.

"Ruko (Wait) Bhishma." ordered Parshurama.

He looked at Karna and then said " Putra Karna! I know you are bored and don't want to participate in the first place. Perhaps this will be a challenge for you. I ask you to not use any of your divine weapons or arrows. You will not use your other divine abilities either. Not even your armor. You can use only the normal arrows. Nothing else!" said Parshurama.

Bhishma and Drona's eyes widened. How will Karna fight, when more than half his options limited? Karna on the other hand smiled excitedly. Now he was challenged.

Arjuna wondered if his eldest brother had gone mad, when he saw the excited smile on his lips.

"Ji Gurudev! " answered Karna happily as he closed his eyes and willed the armor to melt back in his skin. Parshurama shook his head fondly. The battle royal began. It was a fierce fight between the two. Karna was having fun after a while. Arjuna was amazed at his brother's skills. He knew his jyesht was an experienced warrior.

To see that, his eldest brother in his element was as beautiful, as it was terrifying. Karna saw the mark of an exceptional warrior in Arjuna. He would be a terrifying warrior one day. He smiled, a sudden pride was spreading within him. He decided he needed his fight now, before he lost the upper hand. He shot an arrow at Arjuna's hand which was holding the bow, while Arjuna's arrow grazed his arm, Giving a small wound. As Arjuna's bow fell from his hands, huge cries of victory were heard from the stands. Karna came towards Arjuna. Arjuna was happy and perhaps a bit disappointed with himself.

" You will be one of the greatest archer of all times! You just need a bit of experience. " said Karna, as he bought him in a hug.

" Dhanyavad (Thank you)" said Arjuna, a soft and happy smile spreading on his face. Advika smiled happily as the brothers hugged.
