The solution is always within the problem. You just have to look carefully.

Karna felt his blood turn to ice. He felt huge amount of anger for that grandmother of hers. Jealousy surged through his senses, no men would come near his Advika. He have been feeling something for Advika, for the past couple of days. He had finally managed to distinguish between the love for a friend and the romantic love for a partner. Only for him to find that her dearest grandmother had arranged an alliance with someone else. A marriage she wants to get out off.

Why did she not write a letter to him? He would have helped too.

'You were the one who shouted at her in the morning, you idiot! Obviously, she did not want to write a letter to you. She is probably angry and hurt!" said his heart. His mind was blissfully silent, in response. They would help her out, and he would apologize. And perhaps then he can say what's in his heart. But first, they needed to get her out of there. But how? His brain was not working now.

Kunti has been left shocked. What was going on? Advika was going to get married, that also this soon? Her letter said she did not wish to be married at all. Then why were her family forcing her? Surely, if she says no, her decision will be respected? She had heard so much about her from her eldest, that it felt like as if she had known Advika for long. She looked at Karna, to find his ashen face and lost eyes. She had known and understood, when her son had spoken about Advika, so softly and adoringly, that he loves her. But she also knew, that her son and neither Advika had fully realized it, yet. It seems he had finally understood his own feelings.

Yuddhisthir was shaken. Why was someone forced to get married, against her will? That is not Dharma. They way jiji has spoken in the letter, it seems that her brother is against this marriage, as well as herself. How can they solve this situation? Bhima was worried. His Advika jiji is being forced against her will? That also by someone who is not only elder to her, but also family? Yes..family can be evil sometimes, thought Bhima, as he remembered about Shakuni and Duryodhan. He will help his jiji in any way he can!

Arjun looked at Karna and then at Krishna, wondering what these two were thinking so deeply. While his jyesht looked like hell had somehow come on earth, Madhav looked like he was working through a big puzzle. He sighed. He will help Advika jiji, of course. That was not even a question.

'Jiji is supposed to become my bhabhishree! His jyesht's wife! Not some over confident fellow's!' thought Nakul. How was he supposed to win the favourite devar competition, when she is getting stuck in a marriage not meant for her? Nope, he wont let that happen. He had to save his future bhabhishree.

Sahadev looked like he had eaten the food, that he absolutely hated. He simply shook his head, thinking that this family members of Advika jiji had no idea, what was about to hit them! He truly pitied them. His jyesht wont let them live.

Balrama was furious. His sister was being forced! Who dares go against his darling sister's wishes?

Krishna was laughing on the inside at the letter. Mayuri sure knew how to be dramatic. He knew the situation was serious, but this way his jyesht will manage to settle his life. His smile turned mischievous as he started scheming about these two's love life. Someone has to play the cupid here! It's a tough job, after all!

"I don't understand why her wishes are not being respected!" said Kunti, a frown on her beautiful face.

"In normal citizen life, most girls are not asked their opinions, devi. They are told to get married. Their choice was never given any precedence. The right of Swayamvar is only with the royals.Perhaps some of the rich people give their daughter's choice a preference, but most don't.

This society is dominated by Patriarchy, after all. " explained Radha, gently. Her voice sad and dejected.

"That's not right!" exclaimed Kunti. Yuddhisthir looked aghast.

"The society is rarely right maa." said Karna. His eyes was bloodshot and very tired.

" Wait, wait...why are we talking about society all of a sudden? Society talks can be done in bhrata Yuddhisthir's Dharma Sabha! Right now is the time to get jiji out this marriage mess!" said Nakul, his voice utterly exasperated.

"Haa, sahi kaha..How are we going to deal with this mess?" asked Balrama, as he paced on the floor.

"What we need first is information! Let's wait for Avinash first." said Arjun. Bhima and Sahadev nodded in agreement.

In all this talks, Karna and Kanha had been silent. While Karna was listening to the ongoing discussion, Krishna was thinking, how to exchange the marriage proposals.

"I am here." said Avinash, as he opened the door from outside and got in.

"Putra, we need more information to help!" said Kunti, immediately. Avinash looked at all the others. Yuddhisthir and Kunti was eager, Arjun and Balrama was anxious and angry, Krishna was thoughtful, Bhima and Sahadev looked worried, Nakul seemed in a state of worry and annoyed.

Avinash took a seat among them.

"I will explain from the start." said Avinash, as he started to explain his grandmother arranging the proposal, his sister reaction, his mother's fear and worry, the grooms family's character and reputation. After hearing everything, Bhima and Balrama wanted to have a mace fight with Srihar and his son, Yuddhisthir was disturbed, Kunti was distraught, Arjun, Nakul and Sahadev was angry and Krishna was serious. Karna was so furious, that he was very very calm, eerily calm.

"We need a good plan! A good one. We cannot let jiji get married to that scoundrel." said Avinash, his face serious.

"Why don't we simply threaten the guy and his family? Surely, they will back off then!" said Nakul, rubbing his palms together, his eyes had a strange glint in them.

Kunti slapped her forehead. Yuddhisthir shook his head indicating a no.

"We need a permanent solution. Not a temporary one! They will try again. Then the blame will only fall on jiji and Maa." said Avinash, explaining the house dynamics, in a normal family of three to four members.

"Agreed! Kanha, do you have something on your mind? You and Karna have been quite for a while." asked Balrama, trying to calm his anger down.

" My mind has blanked. The only think I can think of is using that man as an archery practice.

The rest of the ideas that is going through my mind, are against moral code. " said Karna, his voice hard.

Kanha and Sahadev snickered, while Arjun nodded seriously. Yuddhisthir tried to hide his smile. Kunti pressed her lips together to hide her own smile. Bhima, Balrama, Nakul agreed. All three of them wanted to have a piece of those man, to teach them a few lessons, with their weapons of course.

" I do have an Idea...but you may not agree." said Kanha.

" What idea?" asked Avinash and Karna, simultaneously. Other's looked towards him curious.

" Well..it is said that the solution is always explained within the problem. I found the solution in the problem." said Kanha, his eyes has a mischievous glint.

"The solution please, kanha. We don't have time for your confusing words." said Balrama, frustrated.

"Thik hai dau. Since you are insisting I will be frank. I believe Mayuri does not want to create trouble for her mother. If this marriage proposal gets broken, then the blame and the frustration of Devi Sunaina, will fall on Mayuri's mother. Devi Sunaina as far as I understood needs a scapegoat, for her displeasure to be shown. Mayuri's father will follow the trend and show his displeasure on his wife. This will cause a general discord in the house. Mayuri won't be living in that house, but her mother will. The breaking of the proposal can cause a long term problem for her mother. Therefore, in keeping all this factors in mind, there is only one solution. We need to find a marriage proposal which is better than the current proposal." said Krishna in one breath. His mind planing various outcomes.

"That is not a bad idea!" " Kya!! "

There came two simultaneous replies to the idea. Karna was fuming. One marriage proposal in exchange of another really? What was Vasudeva thinking? Balrama was thinking the same thing as Karna. Nakul was having similar thoughts to his jyesht. Unless the replacement marriage proposal came from his jyesht, he was not going to agree!, thought Nakul. Yuddhisthir thought it was a sound idea. The others were struck between indecision.

Kunti had similar thoughts to Nakul. She looked at Karna and then at Krishna, who smiled at her. Her eyes widened, before a sweet smile appeared on her face.

"And whose marriage proposal will we bring?" asked Balrama.

"Kyu, jyesht ka! " said Kanha, his tone teasing.

Immediately everyone stared at him. Karna was blinking slowly. His marriage proposal? What? His heart hammered behind his rib cage.

"The Idea has merit. Karna is the Yuvraja of Hastinapur. I am sure if we speak about this to Tatshree, he would agree. Advika might not be a princess, but she is a devputri and was educated and trained by Maharishi Vashistha and Devi Prithvi. Of course, as long as putra Karna and putri Advika has no problem with the alliance." said Kunti, thoughtfully, agreeing.

More she thought about this alliance, the more she wanted Advika as her daughter-in-law. Nakul has a huge smile on his face. The competition stays!! thought Nakul with relief. And jyesht gets his love, while he is at it.

"Are you sure about this?" asked Avinash, a bit skeptical about the marriage proposal of a crown prince landing on his Jiji's lap all of a sudden, even though the said prince had been a friend of his jiji since childhood.

"Of course, we are sure, as long as both the children agrees." said Kunti, with a smile.

"Haa to jyesht, app ka kya rai hai? " asked Kanha teasingly.

"Huhh!" mumbled Karna, in his own world of guilt, apologies, romance and excitement.

"Jyesht to sapna dekhne bhi lag gaye! Jyesht!!! " called Nakul, as he shook his brother by his hand.

Arjun and Krishna snickered. Yuddhisthir and Kunti was chuckling. Balrama was amused while Sahadev and Bhima was laughing.

Karna came out of his world to find everyone smiling at him.

"What?" asked Karna.

"You did not hear? I asked weather you had any problem, with the marriage proposal between Mayuri and you?" asked Krishna, very amused.

"Oh! No I don't have a problem. But this alliance will only go forward if Advika consents too!" said Karna, a bit stern at the end.

"Don't worry about that! Her consent will be included as well. I will go and prepare. Putra Karna and Putra Yuddhisthir, let us head back to the palace, and speak with Tatshree. Putra Arjun will you mind and go and fetch jyesht and jiji, when we reach the palace?" asked Kunti. Arjun nodded agreeing to the job.

"What about us mata?" asked Bhima.

"One of you go and inform this to Subhadra, while the other two run interference. I believe, you understood." said Kunti, her voice serious.

All three nodded, understanding about Shakuni and to an extent Duryodhan. They cannot interfere.

"And us bua?" asked Kanha.

"You are guests. I cannot ask you to do anything. Go explore Hastinapur. Putra Avinash, tell Advika a solution had been found, she need not fear." instructed Kunti. Avinash nodded while Kanha nodded excitedly. Balrama had a feeling he was going to get dragged into some mischief. He massaged his forehead, wondering what his little brother had managed to think up now?

Karna felt surprised at the idea of a proposal, elated that it might be successful and nervous and excited weather Pitamaha Bhishma will agree.

Bhishma sat in his outer chamber, reading a few Kingdom related scrolls. Suddenly, a dwarpal appeared

" Mahamahim, Rajmata Kunti sahit Yuvraja Karna and Rajkumar Yuddhisthir app se milne ki anumati chahte hai! "said the dwarpal. Bhishma looked up from the scroll at the dwarpal's entry. His eyebrows rose wondering what these three needed to speak to him about?

"Anumati hai! " said Bhishma. Kunti, Karna and Yuddhisthir entered. Bhishma stood up at their entry. Kunti bent to take his blessings.

"Kalyan ho! " said Bhishma.

Then both the brothers followed Kunti's example. "Ayushman bhava! " said Bhishma, smiling.

Kunti smiled as her sons were blessed. She felt like she was in a dream. Her eldest son was back. And she gets to plan in his marriage. That was like a dream come true. He accepted her as a mother and his position as the eldest prince as well, which is his birthright. She rather liked Advika. She prayed everything went well for both of therm.

"Kaho Kunti! What is the reason for your visit?" asked Bhishma. "Please wait a moment, tatshree. I asked Arjun to join us along with Jyesht and Jiji. They should be here by now!" said Kunti. As soon as she finished speaking, both Dritharashtra and Gandhari walked in, along with Arjun.

"Pranipat Tatshree " said Dritharashtra and Gandhari. Arjun folded his hands as well.

"Kalyan ho! " blessed Bhishma.

"Speak now Kunti. They are here." said Bhishma.

The three brothers looked among each other, while the elders sat.

"Tatshree, I wish to arranged my eldest son's marriage with Advika." said Kunti, in one breath.

"Prithvi kumari? "asked Gandhari.

"Ji jiji. Tatshree, jyesht? " asked Kunti.

"It would be a profitable match. Both of them are demigods. They are trained by the best teachers as well. And Karna is the eldest. His marriage has to happen first, otherwise his other brothers cannot marry. But why the sudden hurry, putri?" asked Bhishma.

"Wo..tatshree.. I got news that Advika's grandmother is searching for an alliance for her. I don't want to lose Advika, as my daughter-in-law." said Kunti, a bit nervously.

"But Kunti..Karna is a prince. There cannot be anyone one else who contend against a prince." said Maharaja.

"Haa jyesht, but they do not know that we are planning to make Advika our Kulavadu!" said Kunti.

"That is true. How about Kunti and I go with the alliance tomorrow, to Advika's house?" said Gandhari, suggesting her idea.

"Haa, You both go with the gifts, proposals and finalize the dates of the marriage tomorrow. I

believe everyone is in agreement? " said Bhishma.

Kunti and Gandhari nodded excitedly, happy to plan a wedding. The first in the new generation.

"Well.." muttered Dritharashtra.

"What is it putra? You do not agree, with my decision?" asked Bhishma, fighting to keep the anger out of his voice. He knew Shakuni must have said something after the Kala pradarshan to Dritharashtra.

"No..no..that's not what I meant. It's just Advika is not a princess. That's what I was wondering, it can cause the prestige of Kuruvansh to go down." Maharaja expressed his doubt.

Karna, Yuddhisthir and Arjun all looked angry. Kunti and Gandhari looked aghast.

"Putra...I don't think any princess is the child of Devi Prithvi. And over that Advika is a blessing to Devi Prithvi, from Mahadev and Mata Parvati. It makes her their child as well. I should say having the eldest daughter-in-law, who is this divine, should be a happy occasion!" said Bhishma, sarcastically.

"Ji Tatshree! " said Dritharashtra, a bit subdued. He had wanted Advika to marry Duryodhan, his son, as Shakuni also wanted. Perhaps, this would be better.

While the elders talked about their wedding plans and preparations, the brothers spoke among each other quietly. "Jyesht, do you think Advika jiji will be happy?" asked Yuddhisthir.

"I have no idea. She is a very independent person, and is free as a bird." said Karna.

"At least she will get out of that vile marriage alliance. I think she will be happy." said Arjun. Yuddhisthir nodded while Karna looked thoughtful. Seeing his eldest brother not paying attention, Arjun let a teasing smile spread on his lips.

"Jyesht, don't start dreaming yet.Jiji has not said yes, yet." teased Arjun.

Karna raised his eyebrow, his cheeks dusted a slight pink. Quickly as lightning, he pinched Arjun.

"Ahh! " yelped Arjun.

The elders looked at the sound, that is Arjun. Yuddhisthir and Karna also looked towards him. Karna had a smirk on his face, while Yuddhisthir stifled his laugh.

"What happened Arjun?" asked Kunti, wondering why her son suddenly yelled.

"Kuch nehi mata." said Arjun, as fast as possible.

Bhishma looked very entertained and amused. He had seen Karna pinching Arjun. What did Arjun say, to get himself pinched? wondered Bhishma.

"Kunti, let the children leave. What will they do in this marriage preparations?" said Gandhari. Kunti nodded and gestured for them to leave.

Advika, on the other hand, wondered where her brother had disappeared off to. It was nearly midday and he have not appeared yet.

Avinash was just walking round the corner, on the street, where his house was located that he clashed with a female girl younger to him, by two to three years. A beautiful girl stood in front of him. Avinash blinked.

"Ila?" asked Avinash.

"Ji? " said Ila.

"What are you doing here?" asked Avinash.

"Wo..I heard Advika jiji was here! I wanted to meet her, but did not get the courage to go inside the house!" said Ila.

Avinash sighed as he looked at her. "That I could see! Come on, we will go meet her." said Avinash, gesturing Ila to come along.

Ila tagged along with Avinash. They both entered the house.

"Arey Putri Ila? What are you doing here?" asked Sunaina in a sugary sweet voice, the moment they entered the house.

"Wo..I came to meet jiji!" said Ila, her voice meek. She was very afraid of Sunaina.

"Arey jiji nehi, Bhabhishree bulao. She is you bhabhi, putri!" said Sunaina, condescendingly.

"Pitamahi, I will take her to meet jiji. Come Ila!" said Avinash quickly, not wanting to hear any more of his grandmother's spiel. Sunaina blinked as both the youngsters left her standing at the courtyard.

Advika looked up, to see her brother and teen girl enter her room.

"Jiji, no need to worry they have a plan." said Avinash immediately as he entered. Advika nodded at him, before looking at the young girl. Ila was looking at her awestruck.

"You won't introduce us, Avinash?" asked Advika.

"Right! Ila this is Jiji, and Jiji this is Ila. She is Ishaan's sister, but unlike her family members she is different." said Avinash.

Advika smiled at her. Ila hesitantly smiled back. Avinash left them to talk. He did not tell his jiji what exactly the plan was. She will get one huge surprise tomorrow, he thought. He simply hoped she agreed and he left the explanation to Rajmata Kunti. He'd prefer any man over that Ishaan. Anyone!
