The end always paves path for a new beginning.

" The plan is good, Jyesht. But do we need to wait, for a week?" asked Bhima, his face a bit sad. Yuddhisthir, Karna, Bhima, Arjun, Nakul and Sahadev were all sitting and finalizing their plans for their dearest Shakuni mamashree.

" Yes Bhima. It's a requirement. We need to drag him into a fall sense of security." said Karna, his voice soft. " Secondly, we do have work to do this week, bhrata Bhima!" pointed out Arjun, a mischievous smirk on his face. " True!" acquiesced Bhima, finally. A glint was present in his eyes. " But Jyesht, your abhishek is tomorrow. Should we do this after you become Yuvraja? Should we not use the plan today itself?" asked Yuddhisthir, a bit worried. " Don't worry so much Yuddhisthir. Everything will be fine. I won't change because I become an Yuvraja. And no one would think that the Yuvraja would even do something like this. It's better to do it after the Yuvraja Abhishek." assured Karna, a sly smile on his face. Yuddhisthir nodded assured. " Jyesht, tell us the final time. What is our work, for this week?" asked Nakul, while Sahadev slapped his forehead. " You asked that for the third time Nakul/ bhrata!" said Sahadev and Arjun simultaneously. Nakul pouted at them. " I am repeating, but this is the final time, alright?" said Karna, his smile soft. Nakul nodded happily, while Bhima and Yuddhisthir was amused and Sahadev, Arjun shook their heads. " Yuddhisthir, your duty is to keep the elders busy, especially mata. Bhima you will keep an eye on Duryodhan, he must stay away from Shakuni. Make him unconscious if you must. Arjun, I need you to get the information from Pitamaha and Kaka Vidur. Nakul, you will make sure all the things we will need, is acquired within the week. Sahadev, you need to scope out his Chamber. Be careful everyone, no one should have any idea. Behave normally all the time. Keep the suspicion away. Have tight alibis. Alright?" explained Karna, the final time. " But jyesht, everyone has work. What will you do, then?" asked Nakul, scratching his head.

Arjun slapped the back of his head. " He can't do anything, murkh! Bhul gaye kya, kal Yuvraja Abhishek hai. He will be busy with court works. That's why he asked us to do the jobs. He will help us when he can, without rousing suspicion." said Arjun, absolutely exasperated at his little brother. " I now understand why you asked the same question thrice. Dhyaan nehi de rahe te aap, bhrata! Kaha kho gaye the? " asked Sahadev, his eyebrow raised. " Nidra mei! It's late, I am going to sleep. Subhratri! " said Nakul, stifling a yawn, while he walked out of the room. " Iska kuch nehi ho sakta! " muttered Arjun, before every brothers left for their own chambers.

The moon shone brightly. It's rays gentle and calming, spreading light amidst the darkness.

A soft smile played on her lips, as she smiled absentmindedly. She was wearing her night clothes. A simple white lahenga. The uttariya hung from her shoulder like a waterfall. It's simple texture, pure and untainted. Her black locks swayed gently, alongside the invisible wind. Her kohl lined doe eyes was glinting with happiness as she watched the owl fly freely in the night sky. Her bangles made soft noises as she moved her arms to rest on the railing of the balcony. Her anklets created music, as they were disturbed. Her soft cheeks, rested on her forearms, as she watched the night sky, filled with glinting stars, and of course, the beauty of the moon.

" The sky sure looks beautiful, today." said a husky voice from behind her. She turned around quickly, as her lips spread into a bright smile. " Aa gaye? I thought you would spend the night with your brothers." said she, her voice melodious and soft.

A chuckle broke through the air. " Well, not a bad idea. Perhaps, I should go. I am sure Arjun would not mind sharing, or Yuddhisthir." said he, as he turned to leave. A feminine hand held his forearm, stopping him from leaving. " You are a very bad person." said Advika, her lips in a very unhappy frown. " Acha? Kya kiya hai humne? " asked Karna, as he took her hand in his, bringing her to sit on the swing that was placed in their bedroom. " You did not tell me, what you were planning. How could you?" asked Advika, her brown furrowed. Karna turned towards her. " Advika, you and I both know, why I can't tell you now. After the work is done, I promise to sit and tell you the entire thing. Mera vaada raha." said Karna, as he intertwined their fingers. " Okay, at least tell me something I can help with." asked Advika, as she leaned on him. Her head placed on his shoulder. " Hmm...how about you help Yuddhisthir with keeping the elders busy?" said Karna, as he placed his head on top of her. "Okay, when will this revenge be?" asked Advika again, as she played with his fingers. " A week from today. Can I ask something, priye? " asked Karna, as he lifted his head, from on top of hers. Advika hummed in response as she also looked at him. Both turned towards each other. " You could have used your powers to stop the attackers from fleeing, but you did not, why?" asked Karna, his eyes held worry.

" Because I fainted, due to blood loss. And I did not want to reveal my capabilities. My instincts were protesting at the idea and it is better to be underestimated." said Advika, as eyes flitting everywhere rather than looking at him. Two slender fingers lifted her chin, forcing her into looking at his eyes. They stayed like that for a few seconds. His charcoal eyes intense with anger, worry and something else. " I understand. But Advika you must understand this, my greatest fear is loosing you. It was the same fear when we were children and it is the same now. Promise me, that you will use your powers when required, without fearing about the consequences. As long as no undeserving person gets hurt, I don't care. Vaada karo? " asked Karna, his voice nearly pleading. His eyes shone with his fear and latent tears which won't fall. " Vaada kiya, Arya. " answered Advika, as she initiated a hug for the first time.

Karna wrapped his arms around her shoulder as he relaxed, his back resting on the swing. Advika rested snuggled against him, not letting go off him, as her arms were still wrapped around him. Both stayed like that for a few moments. The peace and calm, along with the gentle swaying of the swing, made Advika fall asleep. Her lips pulled into a small smile, as she slept without worries. Karna looked down at her, only to see her asleep. His lips curled into a small smile, before he picked her up. He laid her down on the bed, as he blew the lamps out.

Both joined the realm of dreams, as the moon spread it's light, illuminating their chamber, creating a picturesque scene.

Advika's pov:-

Change is one essence of time that remains constant. From the very start of humanity, till now, change was always there. Change, good or bad, always creates various opportunist people, that take advantage of the situations.

My eyes flickered open, as the sky's showed a transition between black and blue, from night to morning, from a normal life to a royal life. I smiled at the man, beside me. He has always been my strength, without realizing it. Today was truly a precious day. This two months have been crazy. From both of us returning, to the Kala pradarshan, to realization of Karna's birth family, to my almost marriage, our marriage and then the Drupad war. So many things happened, in such a short span of time.

My slim and shorter fingers, combed his shoulder length hair. He sighed in his sleep, though he was probably awake. I still wonder about our relation, truly. We were still friends but we liked each other romantically as well. I am glad that we did not need to hurry our relationship. It would have created so many problems. I am sure of my deficiencies after all. Romance and emotional things are so out of my capabilities. It takes time for me to assimilate all this things. " Don't feel like getting up?" asked a deep, husky voice. I was startled out of my thoughts, by the question. I looked at him only to see him smiling at me, as he still stayed laid down on the bed. I blushed, and removed my fingers. I had not realized he had woken up. A smirk played on his lips, as he looked at me with hooded eyes, his eyebrow raised. He sure is milking this, for what it was. " What?" I asked, wondering what he was thinking. I was still a bit miffed about not helping in the plan, but I understood. Anyway, the end result of whatever they had planned would be fun. I can enjoy that.

" How is your wound?" asked Karna, his voice laced with concern as he sat up on the bed. I also sat up, looking at the wound. " It's fine. The bandage will come off today. The wound is not that bad, really!" said I. He need not worry so much. I am a warrior too, a bit of wound would not hinder me.

Karna nodded thoughtfully. I started to get up from the bed, as he blinked coming out of whatever he was thinking. It was probably about whatever plan they had.

" Come on, you would be late otherwise." I said as I folded the blankets when he got up. Karna helped with the bed sheets. " You know, the daasis could deal with all of this?" commented Karna, as he spread the sheet, before tucking it properly. " It's relaxing. I like doing it. And neither you nor me, where bought up with multitudes of servants at our beck and call." I replied, shrugging.

It was the truth. I liked doing menial works. I could not do so outside our chamber, because Princess does not do such works. But that does not mean I don't within our space. My chief daasi, Vrina, knows that I like doing this. She makes sure no other dasis know about this. We don't need gossip to spread after all.

" True. I find it relaxing at times as well, especially when there is stress of works." said Karna. " Arya? " I called softly. Karna turned towards her, his look inquiring. " Today is a happy day. Don't stress too much okay? Maharaja Pandu, had already accept you before he died. You have nothing to worry about. You deserve this." said I, looking at him. I squeezed his hands, which was holding tight on to me. He pulled me into a hug, as I rested my cheeks on his chest. His heartbeat was fast, very fast. He truly had been worrying. I tightened the hug. His insecurities might have been dealt with, but that does not mean it does raise it's ugly head once in a while. We might have godly parents, but we were still humans.

" We should get ready. Today will be a tiring day." said Karna, as he looked down at me. I smiled nodding at the suggestion.

Both of us left for freshening up. Today truly would be a tiring day.

The Hastinapur Palace was a beauty in itself. The entire palace was decorated with various precious stones and beautiful carvings that decorated the wide hallways. On top of this due to the Yuvraja Abhishek, the entire palace was cleaned and decorated with expensive clothes, beautiful flowers, strings of pearls and other gems, highlighting their immense wealth.

The Abhishek will be held withing the main entrance chamber, offset to the court chamber. The main chamber was huge and just as much as majestic. It was packed with people. From Brahmins, specifically priests who would perform the ceremony, to various wealthy businessman and other high profiled people of the Kingdom, were also present.

I along with the royal ladies, that is, Badi maa, Maa and Dushala were sitting on the balcony the overlooked the hall. The balcony was for the female members of the royal family and their guests to see any such occasion, without having to stand withing the main hall. We can see everything clearly, and very well. We can also be seen by others standing in the vast room. I would say we have the advantage of getting an aerial view of the proceedings.

Badi maa and Maa sat together on one side, while Dushala and I was on another side. In the middle of the chairs was a small table filled with water, sweets and fruits. Dushala was munching on the sweets currently, as all of us waited for the proceeding to start. I looked around at all the guests, and watched as the priest finished giving his finishing touches. Kakashree Vidur was making sure all the ingredients were present and kept at the right place. The ceremony would start in a few moments.

My gaze and wondered and eyebrow rose at whom I saw. My father and that Srihar. Probably sensing my gaze, Pitashree turned to look up and saw me watching them. He gulped before trying to smile at me, which ended up looking like a grimace. " That does not look like a smile. Isn't that your Pitashree, bhabhishree?" muttered Dushala, leaning to whisper in my ear.

" Yes, I don't even know what that was supposed to be!" I whispered back, wondering what was that about. By the time, my gaze had wondered back at them, they had disappeared. Oh well! Who cared? I don't. Suddenly, my attention was bought to the reality, when trumpets were heard. Tatshree Dritharashtra entered, along with Pitamaha. Shakuni was also present, obviously. Karna and my devars entered next followed by my other 100 devars.

I decided I need to use my ability of sensing emotions. At the first the capability has been overwhelming, but now I am rather used to it. I spread my senses, as I took a deep breath. The prominent positive emotion that dominated the room was elation and it came from the subjects of the Kingdom present within the room. Another emotions that was prominent came from Duryodhan,Dusshasan and Shakuni. Hatred, jealousy and anger- the three jumbled emotions was present within the three. All had the three negative emotions but the intensity for each was different. Like Shakuni, held hatred at it's intensity when he looked at Pitamaha, anger when he looked at my husband. Similarly, Duryodhan projected Jealousy far more than anger, while Dusshasan held anger.

I looked away from them, deciding not to sully my mood because they were not happy. I focused on the less negative and focused on the positives. A deep breath fell, as I sighed.

Maa and Badi maa were genuinely happy, while Dushala was excited. Pitamaha was proud and relieved, most probably that there will be a king who will be follow Dharma, than Adharma. My cute devars were very happy. Yuddhisthir was pleased and practically glowing. Bhima also looked proud and energetic. Arjun was smiling brightly, while positivity absolutely came from him like a huge waterfall. Nakul and Sahadev were burning with excitement and energy.

I was curious about the other Kauravas, so focused on them. What I found shocked me. None of them were unhappy, actually. They were pleased, but disappointed too. They most probably wanted their eldest brother to sit on the throne, but they had nothing against Karna, at all. Interesting! Very interesting. As I surveyed the room, I noticed that the ceremony was beginning.

My lips were automatically pulled into a smile as I noticed Karna look at me, his eyes tensed but his posture impeccable. My smile though made him gave me a smile back. I blushed when I notice Arjun say something to him, only for him to shoot an annoyed look back at him. It must have been about me. Must they always tease us?

I looked at maa, only for her to wink at me, causing Dushala to chock on her sweet, and me to blush bright red. I mentally groaned. With this rate, I will be a bright tomato! Maa smiled, unrepentant. I huffed.

" And people wonders where her sons get their mischievousness from?" I whispered to myself. Dushala chocked again and glared at me. It seems like I did not speak very softly as she chocked and Maa simply smiled an innocent smile at us,which I did not buy for a second. After all, this women was the aunt of Kanha, who was the epitome of pranks, and his middle name was mischievousness.

" Bhabhishree! I will die by chocking if this continues." said Dushala, pouting. " Who told you to eat now? The ceremony is starting!" I scolded slightly. She smiled sheepishly, before finishing the sweet she was eating and focused on the ongoing ceremony. I also turned to watch, feeling my eyes starting to water.

As milk was poured on his toned body, the priest started to chant various shlokas. The purification was apparently done, by pouring the milk, that was mixed with saffron. Then water was added. A huge tumbler was now tilted over Arya's head by two priest, while four more continued to chant. This continued for five tumblers. Three filled with milk and two with rose water. My eyes had started to water for a reason. Before being my husband, he was my best and only friend. My childhood friend. I should have realized that such a deep friendship could cultivate into love. I smiled realizing something. I must have been in love with him for a long while, it simply took me to stay away from him to realize that.

Anyway, I was glad that finally he is getting what he deserves. Not the throne, not the crown. No, I am speaking of the family he gained and found, his mother, his brothers, Pitamaha, Tatshree, Badi maa...and so on. This was just a bonus, which I am sure he found to be very unnecessary, but will follow because his dharma say so.

There was a time when he had been so dejected and his spirits were broken, when we were children. There had been times when I had held him, when he had broken down completely, forcing him to release his emotions. Those days he would destroy anything within our cave and then cry.

There had been times when I had broken down, and he had helped me too. Being the rock, that ground me. That gave me the strength and courage to fight. To get up again, to survive so I could live. He and my mother were the two most important people in my life. Now, I have a huge family. Dau, Kanha, Kunti maa, Pitamaha, Badi maa and my five brothers. All of them were precious.

Though I can see divide in the royal family of Hastinapur very clearly. The political web was too strong and too complicated. The spider of course was Shakuni. But I won't let him. I may not be able to protect Pitamaha and Badi maa, but I could protect maa, my brothers and my husband. That was what I will do.

When Arya returned take the vows of being an Yuvraja, I also vowed that I won't let my immediate family fall, not my brothers, not my maa Kunti and definitely not my husband.

A divine presence smiled in Dwarka, as his eyes twinkled. His smile lit the entire world, and happiness spread. " Good decision behena! The earth is the best barrier after all." he muttered.

Pov ends

A week passed.

It was night time. The owl and bat ruled the skies at this time. The moon curiously was passing within the clouds. The stars also twinkled less.

Five figures dressed in pure black was waiting inside the chamber. A howl was heard at the distance, as they waited. No ornaments were worn by the five men. All their faces were covered with black clothes. The skin that can still be seen was painted black, so that they can become one with darkness.

A bed can be seen within a huge room. A man in his early fifties can be seen sleeping on the bed. No lamps were lighted. Because the moon was playing hide and seek, natural light was less too.

It was the perfect night for revenge. The five men moved around the entire room and moved all the things out of order slowly, without making an ounce of noise.

" Shakuni! Shakuni!" called a voice that sounded very hoarse.

Shakuni got up immediately and looked around frantically. The five men were literally crowding around his bed, preventing any escape. Shakuni may be a trained warrior, he shined not on the battlefield, but rather on the politics.

" Kon ho tum log? Sipahi! Sipahi! " yelled Shakuni, but no one came. One of the man laughed which sounded very cruel and haunted. " Hum kon hai? Dekh rahe hai? Ye paapi puch raha hai ki hum kon hai? " taunted one of the five man. His voice was also haunted. " K-o-n h-o tum l-o-g?" stuttered Shakuni, in fear. He had no weapons on him, and the guards did not come yet. His rational mind has fled, as his emotions took control. " Hum Yamdutt hai!! " said One of them, voice haunted. " Kya? " asked Shakuni, as he moved back on the bed, hitting the back. The five continued to move even closer to him. Sweat beads rolled down his face and neck. A slimy hand with long nails caressed his cheeks. Shakuni literally was shivering. He looked at the hand with fear and disgust. " Haa! Your death is very near. How sad, that you could not complete your revenge on Devrath. How sad you are failing in every thing you are doing!" said a voice that made Shakuni's skin crawl with disgust and fear, at the pure haunted voice. " So we decided that we will pay you a visit. Do you know, that oil is being boiled in the preparation and celebrations of your upcoming visit to Narak ? The Yamaraj is making preparations for your visit. The Narak vasis are celebrating to receive one of their own." said the man in the middle, his voice clear, but still haunted. It made Shakuni's skin crawl even more and he gulped at the image the man's talks had conjured in his mind. " I am not dying, anytime soon." said Shakuni, trying to brave, though his fear was clear. " Oh you are, in the next two days. The reason we came to give a social visit, was to know how hot do you want the oil ?" asked the man, whose ugly, dirty and long filthy fingers were still caressing his cheek.

" K-y-a? " stuttered Shakuni, as he started to feel faint. " I mean do you want the oil to be boiling, middle temperature or low?" asked one of the men, caressing his other cheeks. " Though I suggest boiling temperature, this skin looks like it can use a bit redness to it, it's so pale. " continued the same man, a wicked look on his face.

Shakuni fainted at the image and the five men looked among each other. One of them tipped a green solution in his mouth. Another kept a letter in plain view. All of them left the chamber, slowly and carefully. When they reached a brightly lit chamber, they smirked.

Advika and Yuddhisthir were waiting for the five to come back, from their excursion.

" Bhabhishree, aap ko lagta hai ye tarkeeb safal hoga? " said Yuddhisthir, breaking the silence.

" Avashiya! Parantu...ye log abhi tak aye kyu nehi? " replied Advika.

" Haa, they should have been back by now!" said Yuddhisthir, as he paced the length of the room. Advika sat on the swing, gently swaying it. Her eyes straying towards the door, after a few minutes.

" We are here! And the plan was successful!" announced Nakul as he entered along with the other four following him. Both Advika and Yuddhisthir looked at them with their eyes wide.

" What are you all wearing? Go and change, before anyone sees you!" said Advika immediately with Yuddhisthir frantically nodding along. The five nodded and again left to change into their night clothes. When they entered all seven of them sat down in the chairs. " The hallucination medicine was administered. The phrase one of the plan is completed." said Sahadev,

Yuddhisthir's eyes had a hard glint as he smiled, which screamed innocence. Bhima rubbed his hands together. Arjun's smile screamed mischievous. Nakul and Sahadev grinned were strikingly similar, which caused unease.

Karna smirked while Advika leaned on him, her lips smiling a serene smile.
