Leila glanced outside, while sitting in classroom's feeling bothered for some reason. There was a tight feeling in the pit of her stomach that was making her uncomfortable.
Another minute of hearing her teacher's speech, she discovered that she could no longer pay concentration to him.
Her hand raised without her brain processing.
The teacher paused while others turned to glance at her hand in air.
"I don't feel good. Can I go outside for a bit?" She asked, watching the stress line forming on the teacher's face, although he gave her permission without another second of thought.
She left as fast her legs could take her.
She leaned against the wall in hallway, taking a long deep breath.
"What is this feeling? Why does it feel like something bad is going to happen?" She clenched and unclenched her hands into fists.
She wiped the sweat off her forehead and pulled her phone out. With no reluctance in her move, she gave her brother Angelo a call.
"Leila?" He answered at the second ring.
"I don't feel good, Angelo." She blurted out feeling sweat trickling down her neck.
"What's wrong, Leila? Hang on. I'm on my way." She heard him, though no longer she was in the state to answer him. Because on other side of the hallway, against the wall across her, stood a strange man with a smirk playing on his lips.
The smirk felt so familiar. So dreadful that she trembled under his dark gaze.
****************
On the other side, Angelo rushed out of the warehouse while speaking to Leila who no longer was responding, although the line was working fine.
"Leila!! Speak to me!" He urged, however he again got no reply.
As he approached his car, a loud blast echoed behind him. The tremor was so strong that he collided against the vehicle painfully and heard a crack in his ribs.
Cursing, he looked behind. The warehouse he was in the moment ago was currently burning to ashes. The abnormal heat made him snap out of his daze. He cursed and got inside his car. He had no time to worry about this.
As he settled on driving, he noticed that the call was cut off. He tried calling her again but the number was switched off.
He punched the steering wheel before letting a loud curse out again and called Xavier with the intent to warning his brothers.
Xavier answered, before Angelo could speak, Xavier murmured.
"Try to get to Leila as fast as you can. I have already sent Zach. Don't worry about here. Leave all this to me."
Angelo blurred past the signals without giving single care about the rules. Adrenaline rushed through his veins as he raced through the road.
In the span of five minutes, he found himself in front of Leila's school. Just as another car came skidding across him.
Zach and Angelo got out and watched the students being rushed out of the doors by the police and teachers.
"Mr. Zach and Angelo!" They heard a voice calling out to them.
They looked at their left to see Adriano. He was holding a girl's hand tightly who was nervously staring at the 'scary duo'.
"Fire alarms rang and from what I heard, someone called to warn that a bomb had been planted in the school building. The authorities has evacuated all students but I-"
He hesitated.
"But I searched for Leila everywhere. She is nowhere to be find."
"The fuck did you say?!" Zach scowled.
Julia shivered in fear and clung to Adriano's arm while sweating bullets.
"I'm telling the truth. Her classmates said that she went out of the room and never returned."
The glare and the deadly aura both brothers radiated, terrified Adriano.
Suddenly Zach's phone rang. He picked up to answer Vincent.
"The personal guards that were supposed to be guarding Leila are found unalive. Three cars along with their bodies are parked in the deserted area." Vincent informed.
"That fucker has waged the war officially!"
