Leila Lambordi was aware what was it like to be kidnapped. It would not be the first time she was held captive. Though, a sudden feeling of strangeness hit her heart. Her brothers were nowhere near to find her, to save her this time- she thought distressed.
It must have been two days, she had gotten back consciousness just a few hours ago and proceeded to kick and claw at the door, her escape from this small albeit warm room but to no avail. In the end, she got exhausted.
She tried to break the window. Her hands got injured in the process but she did not gain success. She hugged herself, feeling terror chilling her bones. There was really no way- no hope until her brothers could find her. But would they really?
She asked herself as she glanced outside the window to see snow falling.
She was far- far away from home.
****************
"THERE IS FUCKING NOTHING!" Luciano growled breaking the stuff of his room which cost was worth a fortune.
Vincent entered the room. His eyes had dark circles around them. Leila's disappearance and Luciano's anger had been becoming really challenging for him to handle. Whole family was stressed and result was that entire city remained terrorized.
"Calm yourself, Luciano." He approached Luciano, not being bothered by stepping on the glass and crushing it underneath him.
"HOW THE FUCK CAN I?!" Luciano raged with thunderous voice.
"We won't be able to find Leila with you throwing a fit like that."
This seemed to calm him down a little but not entirely.
"This is my fault! F-fuck! My fault, right?! I should have been there with her!"
Vincent felt his heart throb at the sound of guilt in Luciano's voice.
"Stop blaming yourself. It was Leila's decision."
Vincent was sure Leila must have been regretting her decision. But this wasn't important.
All that was important was her safety. They needed to get her back, first to find her and Vincent and Luciano would do that even if they had to go into the deepest part of hell.
*************
Leila felt petrified as the door opened and he entered. She was afraid beyond no extent, knowing that she was alone with him.
"Have a seat, dear Leila. You will get tired standing."
Leila flinched as she didn't find his voice to be soothing. Not with that scary, deadly look in his eyes. His aura was like the one who you know you shouldn't come across with.
"I said sit." He said in a reprimanding tone.
Leila couldn't help herself but drop down on the bed, her fidgeting hands and trembling legs all exposed to him.
"W-what do you want f-from me?" She asked painfully with a stutter.
"Are you sure that you are in the position to ask question?"
She flinched again. His gaze was getting scarier. His gentle smile looked too off.
"I would never hesitate to squeeze your pretty neck until you can't breathe anymore or drag a knife across your throat, you know the convenient method. But first I want to see your precious older brothers suffering. In the same way, your father suffered when I killed your mother."
Leila felt her lips quivering and her hands clenched in tight fists.
"What's wrong? Are you feeling angry? Come, hit me then." He chuckled, enjoying the way as her eyes shone with fury.
On the spur of moment, she lunged at him with a scream only for him to effortlessly smack her across her face, knocking her against the glass table that shattered on the impact. She screamed as few glass shards stabbed into her stomach.
His force of strength resembled something inhumane.
"Tch." Annoyed, he walked up to her and picked her up from the mess before laying her down on her back on the clean floor.
"Running mindlessly in the battle will push to your death. I warned your mother the same thing years ago."
He mercilessly pulled the glass out, not bothering about the blood which flowed out.
Then, he stood up and walked away without sparing another glance to her tears and choked sobs.
Leila whimpered as few minutes later, the door again opened.
She heard footsteps approaching her but her vision had become too dark. She was on the brink of unconsciousness.
She felt a presence beside her and a hand on her forehead.
"Look at what has happened with you, Leila."
The familiar voice rang in her ears like octaves. She couldn't believe it. He can't be here... she thought as the darkness lulled her to dreamless and pained sleep.
