Reflections of everything

Daisy decided to stay in night before they leave for the mission, things were on her mind and she wanted to stay focus for the mission.

She was cooking dinner when she got a knock on the door, she was puzzled as she wasn't expecting anyone as in everyone was at Hard Deck. Daisy made her way over to the door, she opened it to find Mickey standing there, with her favorite soda and bouquet of roses.

"Aww Mickey." She said as he handed her the roses. "I heard these was your favorite, also I heard you were alone, I wanted to keep you company." Mickey said which caused her to smile. "Well I appreciate it, I just put dinner in, looks like I got someone to talk to for the evening." Daisy said as she stepped aside for Mickey to step foot in.

"Well when I didn't see you at the Hard Deck, I knew something was up, so I figured." Mickey said. "You come save the day?" Sparrow questioned with a brow rose. "Something like that." Mickey said and she chuckled a bit.

......

They sat on the couch while friends was playing on the television. Daisy couldn't help but think about the conversation that she had with her father once again, Mickey noticed that she was spacing out.

"You alright over there?" Mickey questioned her which snapped her out of it. She sighed a bit, "Not really." Daisy answered. "It's your father... isn't?" He questioned her and she nodded.

"I can't get that conversation that we had out of my head." Daisy said as she sighed. "I don't want that to happened, it's like what happens if I don't come home safely Mickey, my father... he's going to be lost and heartbroken... I can't let him go through that again." Daisy said.

"He won't have to go through that again." Mickey said and she looked over at him. "Daisy, you are one of the best out of all of us... you are going to make it home... believe me." Mickey added. She smiled softly. "At the end of the day, you are always thinking positive and always thinking the best for me." Daisy said with a smile.

"Plus I don't like seeing you stressed out, I will always think the best for people especially you." Mickey said.

This made Daisy's heart flip, for over the past few weeks, Daisy began falling for Mickey, this has never happened to her before, She was always consume with flying that she didn't think she was ever going to find it. Well, now it's right in front of her.

"You alright over there?" Mickey questioned which snapped her out of her daze. "Yeah yeah, things on my mind, not my dad this time something different." Daisy said as she kept eye contact with him.

"Oh, what could that be, if it's alright if I ask." Mickey said.

"Well it's about what my heart wants.... I never chose to listen because of the life of a pilot and never could think I could have it." Daisy said. "Daisy, listen to it." Mickey said.

"Especially when the person is right in front of me." Daisy said as her cheeks tinted to a blush pink. Mickey went quiet for a moment then he shook his head.

"Wait, wait. You?" Mickey asked and she nodded. "And I thought I was going to make myself look stupid." Mickey said which confused Daisy. "What do you..." Daisy was about to questioned. "You, you are what my heart wants, I didn't say anything because not only was terrified but I was afraid I didn't have a chance." Mickey admitted.

She smiled. Silence had filled the room expected friends was playing in the background. Then Mickey looked at Daisy. "Daisy Wolfe, would you.." Mickey was about to ask but Daisy jumped the gun. "Yes... Yes Mickey, I will be your girlfriend." Daisy said with a smile which caused him to smile back. They looked at each other for a moment until the television yelled "PIVOT!" which caused them to giggle.

"Just wait till everybody hears about this." Daisy said. "I heard they been making bets on us." Mickey said and Daisy's eyes widen. "What the..." Daisy said. "I know, I know... but I think they all lost to Phoenix, expect for Payback and Rooster because they was with Phoenix on this one." Mickey said and Daisy shook her head.

"I can't believe they bet on us." Daisy said. "I know, but I think they did this purely for fun." Mickey said. "Yeah, Fun for Phoenix. She came out rich out of this, they should honestly know better not to bet against her." Daisy said and Mickey chuckled. "Honestly." He replied.

She thought back on her dad. "He'll be happy, my dad will." Daisy said with a slight smile as she thought of her dad. "Yeah, I talk to him." Mickey said which Daisy looked at him. "Huh?" Daisy questioned him.

"I went and seen him. We talked, but he did tell me not to hurt you and I told him, I have no plans to." Mickey said which caused Daisy to smile. "Yeah that's my dad for you." Daisy said as she stared at her mom's bracelet. "I'm going to take it that's your mom's?" Mickey asked as he pointed out the bracelet.

"Yeah, my dad gave it to me when I graduated at Top Gun. This is the first time I'm actually wearing it." Daisy admitted. "Maybe you should have it on you, you know as a good luck charm, I know tomorrow is going scary and nerve wracking all at once, maybe you should have that on you for comfort and confidence." Mickey explained.

Daisy smiled. "Yeah." Daisy replied. Then they both looked at the clock and noticed it was getting real late. "It's getting late." Mickey said. "Yeah and we need to get a good night rest." Daisy said as they both got up from the couch and headed to her door. "Thank you for keeping me company." Daisy said. He smiled and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Anytime... I'll see you tomorrow." Mickey said and she smiled.

He went to his car and she looked over to see Natasha in the driveway with her mouth dropped opened. "I KNEW!" She exclaimed. "Yeah yeah, I know you are about to be rich, get in here!" Daisy exclaimed as her and Mickey giggled as he pulled out of the driveway.
