DILARA'S POV: Gabe's body slumps to the floor in front of me.
'You won't be able to find your way out.' Adriano snarls.
'I'll try my luck.' I smirk.
I let him and Vittoria struggle against their binds and walk out of the room, closing the door being me.
Following the nose coming from the open door, I quietly walk up the stairs and make my way onto the main floor.
Making sure no one can see me, I turn a corner and walk down a dark corridor. Cocking the gun I stole from Adriano, I turn another corner and bump into Mimi whose holding a child in her hands.
That must be Rory.
Mimi's mouth drops open at the sight of me and I place my finger to my lips, my eyes begging for her silence.
'Mommy can I pwease get my bwanana,' Rory mutters, rubbing her blue eyes.
'Yeah baby,' Mimi replies.
As I try to make my way past her she grabs my arm, stopping me in my tracks.
Her eyes look worn out as if she's been crying and my heart breaks for her.
'Turn left at the end of this corridor and there's a back door you can leave from,' she says giving me a small smile.
'Thank you,' I whisper.
I start walking away.
'Dilara,' Mimi says stopping me in my tracks.
I don't turn around, but I pause.
'Promise me you'll call.' She says.
A couple minutes pass before I answer her.
'You know I can't do that.' I reply, quietly. 'Go feed your child Mimi, and have a nice life.'
Quietly making my way down the corridor I turn the left and find a back door like mimi said.
I try to open it but it's locked.
I start looking around on the floor for a hidden key and find a crack in the floorboard. It's a loose floorboard.
Pulling it up, I find a key.
'Amateurs,' I mumble.
I quickly unlock the door and make a run for it, any second now they'll find Adriano and Vittoria in the basement and send people out looking for me.
The entire surrounding of this building is just abandoned buildings and sketchy alleyways.
My main priority right now is to get back to the restaurant and find my motorbike.
I need to get home, I can't believe Dominico didn't even send Christianto to look for me.
He didn't send anybody.
I run down more alleyways when the streets start looking familiar I'm able to manoeuvre my way back to the restaurant.
My jet black motorbike is parked right outside.
'Thank god,' I mutter.
My keys are still inside so I turn on the engine and get onto my motorbike, making my way back to base.
My phone is smashed, no one is looking for me and my body is aching.
I speed up as I drive past a police car, making sure to hide my face with my helmet.
It takes me a while to get to the edge of the city and I finally get back to base.
Two security guards stand by the gate.
One of them walks up to me. She has burgundy, curly hair and brown eyes. Her skin is jagged and has many scars on.
'Who are you?' She asks.
'Dilara De'Bardi,' I reply taking off my helmet. 'I'm not in the mood, so let me in.'
'Yes ma'am.' She replies.
She signals to the other guard who opens the gate, letting me drive through.
I park my bike in the garage and make my way to Dominico's office.
I burst into the room and see Christianto sitting in front of him.
Dominico's expression doesn't waver as I sit down in an arm chair in front of him, Christianto on the other hand looks like he's seen a ghost.
I take the gun I stole out of my pocket and play with it.
'As you can see, I've managed to save myself.' I say tonelessly. 'Now I'm sure you're wondering where I've been.'
'We haven't,' Dominico mutters, flicking through paperwork.
'Matter of fact I got kidnapped.' I say propping my feet up on his newly polished, oak desk, earning me a glare.
'By who?' Christianto asks.
'No other than Adriano Giovanni.' I reply.
Dominico looks up from the paper work and take a deep breath of his cigarette.
'Look, you survived, now stop being an attention seeker.' He mutters.
'You didn't send anyone out to look for me.' I snap.
'I thought you were messing about.' He replies.
'I've been gone for four days!' I say through gritted teeth.
'You haven't missed anything.' Dominico's replies.
Christianto sits in silence with his eyes wide.
I get out of my chair and walk to my bedroom.
'That motherfucker!' I snarl, slamming the door to my room.
'Stop being an attention seeker.'
I risked my life on that mission and no one could give two shits.
I yell in frustration and throw the vase that was on my bedside table.
Glass splinters fly everywhere, I pick up more things and throw them.
'I risk my life for them.' I snap, throwing a glass bottle at my mirror, cracking it. 'And this is the fucking thanks I get.'
I scream in frustration.
'All I want is a 'well done,' or a 'I'm proud of you' or even a 'good job'' I snap.
He's supposed to be my Grandfather, he's supposed to support me.
But he doesn't even seem happy to see me alive.
All this frustration and anger makes tears form and roll down my cheeks.
I slump to the floor in the middle of my room and cradle my knees to my chest and put my head down.
I try to make sure my sobs aren't too loud.
Someone walks in and I see Christianto looming over me.
'Hey Di,' he says crouching down next to me. 'What happened here?'
He reaches out to touch me and I move myself away from him.
'Don't talk to me.' I mutter.
'What?' He asks, putting a hand on my shoulder.
'I said don't talk to me!' I yell, pushing him off me. 'Take a goddamn hint!'
'I don't understand why you're so upset.' He says.
'Oh of course, my emotions are completely out of order.' I mutter. 'Now get off me before I stab your eyes out.'
Christianto gets up, closing the door behind him, engulfing me in darkness.
