I tighten the gun holster on my thigh and slip my polished gun into it.
I look down at my skin tight black suit. It's breathable and I can move comfortably in it. It came with a matching pair of army boots.
I make sure I haven't forgotten anything before I head to the garage.
Three black Range Rovers are parked side by side.
Christianto walks over to me, his eyes analysing me.
Everyone's ready and equipped for this mission, and they start getting into the cars.
I get into one and see Julia and Pablo already sitting in there so Christianto and I sit opposite them.
The garage doors open and we leave.
'You're equipment is already positioned on the roof of the opposite building.' Julia tells me.
I nod and start bouncing my knee.
Christianto puts a hand on it reassuringly and moves his thumb across it.
************** I'm positioned behind the gun and I take a look through the lens. I can see a bunch of people in this cafe but no Demon man yet.
'We've given you some space, but the building is surrounded.' Dominico says through my earpiece.
'Thanks,' I reply.
'You can do this, just don't think about messing up.' He says. 'Julia and I will be leading you the entire way.'
I don't move from behind the gun, waiting for my perfect moment.
The Demon man comes into my eye view.
'Not yet.' Dominico says.
I take a deep breath and steady my shaking hands. The wind blows through my hair.
The man doesn't stop moving, and he looks around suspiciously.
He finally sits down and I realise that this is the five minute window opening.
'Get ready,' Dominico says.
I cock the gun and close one eye, looking through the lens.
The man kneels down and I wait for him to come back up.
When he does he's holding a baby girl, with blonde hair.
'Shoot now.' Dominico demands.
'I can't,' I reply.
'Dilara we do not have time to waste shoot him now!' He booms through my earpiece.
There's a child.
At that moment a woman with blonde hair walks up to the man and takes her baby from him.
She laughs a little with him, before turning around.
My heart drops.
It can't be.
Mimi.
If that's Mimi, then that baby is her child.
The man gets up and walks out of the window.
'Dilara you fucked up, you missed him.' Dominico snaps.
'I'll fix it,' I reply.
I grab my gun from my thigh holster and pull up my mask.
I walk out of this building and bump into Christianto on the stairway.
'Where are you going?' He asks.
'To finish the job.' I say.
'Dilara stay where you are.' Dominico says.
I take out my earpiece and step on it.
I leave the building and walk into the cafe. My eyes automatically scan the place and land on Mimi and her kid in the corner.
That means someone else might be here too.
I pray that it isn't Adriano.
'Everyone get out of here now.' I command, shooting bullets into the air.
There will be no collateral damage.
People start screaming and run out of the cafe.
'Call the police!' Someone yells.
Mimi eyes scan my face before she grabs her daughter and they immediately leave.
I find the Demon man, and he's coming out of the bathroom.
His eyes analyse me and he glares at me.
'You're a traitor,' I say.
'Shit,' he mutters.
'You betrayed Dominico De'Bardi and were about to rat us out to the Vipers.' I continue.
'I didn't want to get my hands dirty,' he sighs. 'But here we are.'
He reaches for his gun but before he can take it out I shoot him.
He slumps to the floor and his gun slips out of his hand.
I leave the Cafe through the back door and run down an alleyway.
I rip off my mask and take several deep breaths.
It's done, the jobs done and I didn't bump into anyone.
I hear police sirens and gunshots coming from behind me.
I turn around and see a tall muscular man, with black hair and tattoos behind me.
'You've got to be kidding me,' I sigh.
'This is going to be fun.' Adriano says.
I start running through more alleyways. I burst through the back door of a restaurant and run through the kitchen.
Adriano follows me and starts shooting at me. People are screaming everywhere. His bullets ricochet off the pots and pans.
I run far enough and see a door. I try to open it but it's stuck so I kick it and barge into it with my body.
More bullets chase me and I run up a set of spiral stairs.
Adriano chases after me. This game of cat and mouse is getting tiring.
I need to face him, once and for all.
I burst through a door and run into an abandoned rooftop.
Adriano follows me and closes the door behind him.
'Long time no see pazza.' He smirks, his eyes scanning every curve of my suit.
He hasn't changed one bit, except that he's gotten taller and more muscular.
'Aw did you miss me Tinkerbell?' I ask. 'Try not to stare.'
'You've gotten quite the reputation for yourself.' He says.
'Glad to see you've heard about me.' I smile.
'I like to keep tabs on the people I used to know.' He replies.
I narrow my eyes at him.
'This catch up was cute but I have places to be.' I say while walking past him.
He places the barrel of his gun on my chest.
Bring it on.
I swing for his face and he grabs my arm and twists me so my back is pressed against him.
I bash my head into his face and kick his knee so he stumbles to the ground.
'No weapons.' I say throwing both our guns off the side of the building. 'Lets do this old school.'
Adriano lunges to me and I block him. He kicks his leg under my feet and I fall onto my back.
He tries to pin me down but I kick his stomach, making him get off me.
I get up and move my hair from my face.
'You fight like a girl,' Adriano wheezes.
'Believe me if I fought like a girl I'd rip your head off using only my nails.' I snarl.
Adriano runs towards me.
