CHAPTER 6 COOKIES GONE WRONG, S𝚊𝚋𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚊 V𝚒𝚛𝚍𝚒𝚜

The clicking sound of a camera could be heard. Theo woke up from the sound softly moving to the pillow next to him. My eyes opened at the sudden movement.

''aww"' James said while admiring his phone in his hand, his look quickly changed when Theo was glaring at him.

''okay, okay I'll shut up please don't kill me!!'' he screamed while running away from Theo who looked ready to kill. The door slammed open with Luca, Ace and Arthur standing in the middle.

''Stop acting like 5 year olds, your adults for f*cks sake!'' Luca's heavy voice sounded to the little hospital. I flinched but quickly covered it up. ''Sabs, youll have to wear the boot for 4 weeks. Its to make sure the bones will heal properly. For the rest your clear, but please ask for help if something hurts'' Ace spoke after Luca's lecture.

''I will'' I promised, Ace seemed pleased before moving his gaze to James who awkwardly laughed.

''James will stay here, we have business to attend to and you clearly can be left alone without hurting yourself''

''Luca, but you promised me I could go to the next maf.. business meeting'' James whined. I'm not sure what he wanted to say first but all of my brothers looked at him sternly.

''it's not up for discussion'' Luca said as a final before leaving the room with Ace.

''See you soon kiddo'' Theo said while patting my head.

''I'm not kid'' I huffed while trying to glare at him.

''Good try kid, better luck next time'' a small chuckle escaped his lips. He left the room walking after my two eldest brothers. ''So its you and me sorellina'' James smiled mischievously . I did not want to know what he was planning.

''hop on!'' he laughed while showing me his back, I reluctantly did so. I realised my mistake as soon as he started running up the stairs. ''James slow down!'' I screamed, I quickly shut up. I wasn't that loud since before Evan and my mom started abusing me. James didn't care whatsoever and just kept on running down the stairs.

He popped me down on one of the chairs before speaking again ''SOOO... I just thought maybe.. we could bake cookies!'' he screamed the last part a tad harsh but I just couldn't deny after hearing his enthusiasm.

''Alright'' I muttered, this seemed as the starting sign for James. Cause he just started ravishing the kitchen for pots and pans and loads of ingredients. I was drowned in thoughts when I saw flour raining down in the kitchen, James was covered from head to toe in flour, my blonde hair now as well. Arthur decided to walk In at that exact moment, he laughed. James seemed shocked at his brothers laugh ''your truly an idiota Jamie'' Arthur muttered before sitting down next to me.

My body went rigid, Arthur scared me and I couldn't believe he was acting so.. normal. He seemed to notice my fear ''I'm sorry for not properly introducing myself sorellina. I'm Arthur, I should've be nice from the beginning but I was just so afraid of losing my sister again'' I gave him a short not ''Sabrina'' I softly said, he gave me a small smile moving his attention over to our flour covered brother.

James apparently hadn't enough of his game and blew a hand full of flour in our faces. Our faces were covered in flour and if you could see James right now i bet you would be dying of laughter.

''Merda now we can't bake cookies!'' James said in panic.

''You started'' Arthur said while pointing his finger at him.

''Siete due idioti'' I softly murmured, they both looked at me with wide eyes ''you can talk Italian'' James exclaimed, I simply shrugged, wanting the attention gone already.

Arthurs chuckled ''I knew it'' James looked questionably at our older brother ''She didn't look weird at our nicknames, she already understood them''

''alright, get in your PJ's so we can watch a movie'' James shouted before running off for the millionth time, Arthur just laughed before walking up the stairs with me, ignoring the mess we left in the kitchen.

''shouldn't we clean up the kitchen?'' I asked ''don't worry bout it cece''

''Arthur?'' I signed for him to crouch down, he nodded ''thank you for having me here'' I softly whispered into his ear ''its no problem, we love you cece'' he ruffled my hair before walking into his room.

I used the railings to walk down the stairs again, my booth didn't make it easier to walk the stairs up and down.

The smell of popcorn filled the living room filled my nose as I walked in, James and Arthur were already propped up against the pillows a blanket covering them ''Come here piccola'' I smiled before propping myself besides Arthur placing my head on his shoulder. My new family made me feel at peace, I finally had a place to call home. I think.

''I decided to watch tangled'' James said while already stuffing his face full with popcorn.

''blanket?'' Arthur asked while I shivered a bit from the cold ''hmm'' i mumbled. I snuggled closer after he covered me with a soft blanket. I found myself really tired, I didn't even do a lot today. I felt my eyelids close.

I could hear a faint ''sleep well, sorellina'' before the darkness consumed me.
