I had tucked the sheets of my bedding between the mattress and the bedframe, maybe it was some sort of tick but I liked how neat it looked. Maybe it was some sort of control I needed when everything else in my life was going on high speed. The sound of my bedroom door slamming open made me jolt.

James strolled in, grinning from ear to ear, now dressed in flannel pajama pants and a gray hoodie that looked eerily similar to Ace's. "Soooooo," he drew out the word dramatically, rocking back on his heels, "we've decided we are going on a pajama shopping day since Luca says you need more clothes."

I blinked at him, still processing his words as he suddenly pulled a pair of flannel pants and a hoodie from behind his back, presenting them like they where worth millions. "Here, you can borrow these for now. They're mine, but we figured I'd be the closest in size to you. Though," he paused, eyeing me up and down, "you're kinda small." He turned around giving me the time to change into the clothes, I liked their hoodies and they made me feel safe. Although I'd never admit to that.

I slid into the clothes he handed me, only to realize the waistband of the pants was way too loose. I had to grip them tightly to keep them from slipping down. James scratched the back of his neck, suppressing a laugh as he watched me struggle. "Yeah, okay, maybe we need to use duct tape or something..." Theo, Ace and Arthur walked in my room as if on cue, Arthur stifled a laugh "come here cece" I gave the three of them a glare, earning another chuckle from them before I walked over to Arthur. "When can I remove the boot?" I walked like a duckling with it and I didn't enjoy that "I'll check on your leg tomorrow, mhm" Ace stated. Arthur placed me closer before going down on his knees "I'm not that short" I groaned.

"Yeah right midget, someone is grumpy" Theo laughed before shutting up when he saw my glare. I felt some tugging before the strings of my pants were tied up in a bow "here done" Arthur ruffled my hair before standing up. "Well let's go" James jumped out of the room, running down the stairs. Theo gave me a look and I nodded, he picked me up like a koala.

When I say their garage is massive I mean gigantic, cars were lined up against the walls and my mouth stood open. I heard them chuckle before I was placed in the car, i sat in the middle while James and Theo sat next to me. Ace and Arthur in the front.

The mall was bustling with people, and the noise was overwhelming. I stuck close to Theo as we walked through the entrance, my fingers slightly gripping the sleeve of his jacket. It was massive inside, with bright lights, polished floors, and people rushing in every direction. I tried to take a deep breath, but the anxiety was already settling in. Theo noticed and tucked me closer into his side "you'll be fine" I gave him a small smile before looking at the big shops that lined the mall.

We walked into a big shop, it felt fancy, the clothes were beautiful but it didn't feel like i deserved them. "Look Sabs, sea stars pyjamas!" James ran over to me with the cutest pyjamas I'd had ever seen.

I nodded grabbing them from his hands, Ace chuckled "here I'll hold on to them, have a look around we have the whole day" I gave a small smile before running after James "SABRINA NO RUNNING WITH THE BOOTH!" Yeah right. "Oh! What about these? They have little sharks!" He grinned, holding up a pair covered in neon-colored sharks with toothy smiles. I rolled my eyes, but I couldn't stop the small smile that tugged at my lips. "I think I'll pass on the sharks." I had picked some shirts, hoodies and jeans before we went to the fitting rooms. Theo and Arthur handed me some more clothes they had found.

when I stepped out, looking for my brothers, that I realized something was wrong. They were gone. My stomach twisted uncomfortably as I scanned the store, my heart hammering against my ribs. Maybe they had just moved to another section. Maybe they were still nearby. I took a few steps forward, my breath growing unsteady. People moved past me in blurs, voices echoing around me, but none of them belonged to Theo, Arthur, Ace or James.

My breath turned shallow as I slid down the wall, keeping my knees tightly against my body "Sabs?". I squeezed my eyes shut, it okay they wouldn't leave me, right? "Sabs, open those pretty eyes" the voice called out again. My hands trembled as they were taken away from my eyes. "Sabrina!" Theo's voice. He had crouched down slightly to meet my gaze, his eyes searching mine. "Hey, hey, it's okay. We're right here. We're right here."

I let out a shaky breath, nodding quickly even though my body still felt frozen " I want to g-go, you promised i wouldn't be alone again". Tears streamed down my face, Theo had picked me up cradling me close to his chest. James, tried to lighten the moment. "You had us scared for a second there, sorellina. Thought maybe the pajama sharks got you." That earned a small chuckle out of me. Arthur smacked the back of his head. "Not the time, Jamie." Theo gently placed a hand on my back, guiding me away from the crowd. "Let's get out of here. We'll go home, okay?" I nodded, hiding my face in his chest.

By the time we returned home, my energy was drained. Theo had helped me change in my new pyjamas, but grabbed one of his hoodies. Arguing that it would keep me warmer, I didn't mind. We had sat down in the living room with everyone watching a movie. Bunny was tucked between the blanket and I. Luca stepped inside, his expression worried and his hair disheveled . "Theo told me you got a panic attack today." I swallowed, looking down. "Yeah. But it was nothing. I just...panicked a little." I hid my self in the blankets He sighed, stepping forward before sitting down next to me. His large frame taking in most of the space, big giant. "It's not nothing, piccola. You don't have to act like everything is fine when it's not."

The lump in my throat grew, and before I could stop myself, I felt tears slip down my cheeks for the second time today. I hated crying. I hated feeling weak. But Luca didn't say anything, didn't push me away. Instead, he reached out, pulling me into his arms in a way that made me feel small but safe.

"You're safe here, Sabrina. Always."

I buried my face in his shoulder, letting myself fall apart just a little.
