"I don't think I'll be able to carry this..." I said, staring at the massive metal cauldron in the storage. "I don't even think I'll be able to push it over, let alone roll it outside."

The cauldron in the kitchen was already attached to a complex system of hooks, and there was no way I'd be able to remove it and replace it back, so Rex and I went on a hunt for a different cauldron we could bring to the knight's barracks. We managed to find one sitting in the back of a storage room, but it was massive, and there was no chance either of us would be able to move it ourselves.

"This thing is almost as tall as me!" I said.

"Maybe we should get some help for this?" Rex scratched his head. "I could try to use magic, but I think we'll need a few more people to help, even if I use magic."

"Let's go find someone then," I suggested. "Or a few someones."

We walked to our rooms, knocking on Lionel's and Isaac's doors and explaining the situation. When we went back to the storage, we all stood around the cauldron, considering our options.

"We could all try using wind magic at the same time to lift it." Isaac suggested.

"That's a decent idea," Rex admitted, "But this is pure metal, I don't think our wind magic is at that level yet."

"What about a spell that makes things feel lighter?" Lionel suggested. He paged through his spellbook that he brought along with him. "I know there's something in this book that does that. It's supposed to be for moving cannons and boxes of cannonballs, but it could work for a cauldron too."

"Let's try that first," Rex said.

Lionel placed one palm on the side of the cauldron, the other hand holding open his book, and he repeated the mantra on the pages.

I stared at him in awe as his hand and the entire cauldron was surrounded by a soft, glowing red light. Once he finished speaking, the light faded away.

"Did it work?" I asked.

"It should have," Lionel said. "I've been practicing this kind of magic for a while. Let's try using wind magic now."

The three boys all extended their hands and attempted lifting the cauldron, surrounding it with red and gold wisps of magic.

I am so jealous right now. I need to get Leonard to teach me how to do this at some point.

"It's lifting!" I exclaimed, bending down to look at the legs of the cauldron slowly coming off the ground.

"Alright, let's hurry and take it outside!" Rex said, starting to move towards the door.

I rushed over, holding the double doors open for them as they carefully guided the cauldron out into the hallway.

A/N: Happy New Year to everyone! 2025 is going to be a great time, I can feel it.
