"Let's move the cauldron onto the campfire first," I said. "That way we don't have to move it while it's filled with water."

The three boys summoned their wind magic again, lifting it up and setting the legs of the cauldron down onto the brick surrounding the campfire.

"Maybe you could try filling up the cauldron with water magic?" I suggested. "No need for a spell that specifically fills up the cauldron, right? Can't you just summon water right on top and drop it into the cauldron?"

"We could try that," Rex said, before lifting his hand and creating an enormous drop of water above the opening of the cauldron.

"Is this enough water?" He asked.

"Uhh, let's try half of that first," I replied, watching the ball of water split in half, one of the halves dropping into the pot with a splash.

I peeked inside the pot and looked at the water level, which filled about 3/4ths of the pot.

"That looks good, I don't think we need any more," I told Rex.

"Alright," he said, then a smirk grew on his face.

He quickly moved the water over me, Lionel, and Isaac, then dropped it on all three of us, soaking our clothes completely.

Rex doubled over in laughter as the rest of us stood there in shock. Lionel was the first to act, creating his own stream of water and firing it at Rex, but Rex dodged to the side, evading the shot.

The boys devolved into a water fight, flinging water at each other and turning the ground into mud.

I stood to the side, watching in amusement, before deciding to go back to my room and change into warmer (and dryer) clothes.

By the time I got back, Commander Landon was standing over them, forcing them to use fire and wind magic to dry up the muddy ground and dry the kindling that was now wet.

"Hello Corvalia," he said, as I walked over.

"Hi Commander Landon!" I replied cheerfully.

"When do you plan on starting the fire?" He asked.

"We can start right now," I said. "Since the water will take a long time to start boiling anyways. Better to start earlier than later."

He nodded, then turned to the boys saying, "You can stop now. Help Corvalia start the fire."

"Yessir!" They all stood up, relief on their faces that the punishment was over.
