Daniel's POV:

I barely ever got angry and when I did somebody would end up dead. That man would pay for threatening Victor. I was sitting in Victor's office along with him, Antonio and Niccolo. there was a nervous stillness in the room until Salvestro joined with a woman who bowed in front of us. Dad entered behind him. only dad?

"Dad and Lorenzo are with the twins," Dad said before Antonio could ask. As for the twins, I will talk to them afterwards.

"it's you" Victor whined.

"Will you tell us our name this time?" Dad grumbled. they both knew her? I turn to look at Antonio who was also looking at me.

"Sylvie La Croix" she answered with a small smile. French?

" I am the legal advisor to the gang."

"did you trace the call," Antonio asked Salvestro who gave us the area. no wonder he was victors most trusted man.

" the person won't be there now," Sylvie said absentmindedly.

"so we let go of the only lead we have" I sneered.

" no son she is right they would have left the place long ago," Dad said causing me to scowl.

" give her the location" Antonio ordered Salvestro who did as commanded.

she just grinned on seeing the information and turned to look at us." sir give me 24 hrs I will inform you everything about him and his family" she promised.

"so much belief isn't good" I smirked.

" We will see sir," she said and left. What a pompous woman. Why the hell was she a consultant to the finest gang in the world?

"Will she be able to do this Dad? Antonio questioned. Even I had that doubt.

"certainly" Victor said smirking at Dad who reflected his face.

"How do you know her?" As soon as my father had left us alone, I questioned Victor.

He tilted his head a little before responding, "She arrived with a man for the peace proposal and wouldn't reveal who she was. She may not be your cup of tea, but there is no denying her strength."

"So tomorrow morning, along with their soldiers, we depart on the mission." Antonio inquires.

"What happened bro?" I turn to gaze at Niccolo, who had been quiet the entire time after agreeing to Antonio. He responded anxiously."I have a very bad feeling about this." He appeared abnormally pale.

Victor only chuckles, "You are getting old brother," and I had to agree with him.

I smirked and said, "Let's just have fun today; Dad, Uncle, and Grandpa are here in case there's any trouble."

Before being hauled outside by Antonio and Victor, Niccolo only scowled in silence. As soon as I was done chatting with the twins, I would go and join them.

In Enzo's room, I find them both alone. While Armando was trying to read a book he was holding upside down, Enzo was sitting next to him blankly gazing into space. I regret hearing what that scumbag had done to them, but he will be held accountable.

"Well, is there a silent programme here?" I made an effort to brighten the atmosphere. Together, they both leapt to their feet, and Enzo's hand immediately reached for the revolver he was carrying. When they learned it was me, they both sighed.

"Are you both doing okay? I inquired. I was genuinely concerned about them both. They had never informed us what transpired with them there prior to today. I needed to know today.

They both turned their heads away from us while remaining silent.

"Do you want to know what happened there?" Compared to Enzo, who was more like Maximo, Armando was the more reasonable and emotional person.

"If you tell us what you did with that Russian dude, we'll tell you what occurred." Enzo was always the more mischievous sibling.

I just chuckled at his suggested arrangement." fine." I stated, "I killed that man and his entire family," which made Armando cringe and Enzo reach out to his twin, who gave him a $1,000 bill.

"you both bet on me?" I said in disbelief.

"include specifics "How could I ignore Armando's instruction?

"When I found out who hurt you both, Victor and I went to his hiding place. Vic continuously pounded the man while I strangled him. I was engulfed in absolute rage. I started torturing the man after telling him that you two were my brothers and asking him who issued the order. He led me to his group's base, where the men and their leader were having a party.

Vic and I fought through all of the safety precautions since our sole thought was getting payback. The moment the man who had you in custody entered the room where their boss and other men were present, I executed him and his superiors.

I pointed my gun at his wife, who was standing there in complete shock with his blood on her face. She and the other ladies were spared by vic, but I killed every man there and set the place on fire." I spoke rubbing my hands over my face in remembrance of that occurrence.

Enzo quickly stood up and exited the room, slamming the door behind him. There was no question that he would become intoxicated. I turned to face Armando, who was looking at the ground. My heart clenched in agony as he began his narrative.

Armando's POV:

I began my tale feeling dejected. Daniel will blame himself the most once he realises what occurred, I am certain of it. We never discussed them with our family since, as far as I knew, Enzo couldn't stand to talk about it.

Flashback:

I opened my eyes to a very dark room. I had the impression that I was in a cell. I shook my head as I observed Enzo's terrified expression. "Brother?" Relief could be seen on his face the instant he understood I was conscious.

"Where are we?" As I stood up and looked around, I questioned.

Enxo cursed in rage, "That idiot Ivanov kidnapped us. Heck, I was even enraged, but before I could respond, we heard a door click. With arrogance written all over his face, the bastard Ivanov entered the room. I turn to face Enzo, who appeared to be resisting the temptation to beat the man senselessly. even me, brother, even me.

He grinned, "So welcome to my humble abode, D Angelos."

"Why did you take us hostage?" I questioned sternly, keeping Enzo under control by holding him back.

"How about a bargain, boys? I am aware of your deep affection for one another. "He murmured while evilly stroking his hand.

"I promise to free them if you provide me information on your cousin Victor and brother Antonio's mafias."

We both held our tongues.

"If we don't,?" Enzo questioned.

"don't you two love one other, We will torment you both, and we will do it in front of each other. nonetheless, rest certain that we will keep you both alive. Otherwise, how can I pressurise your families? He questioned, mockingly. All his soldiers did was smirk.

Both of our faces lost their colour. He intended to threaten our family by using us. I looked at Enzo, who immediately threw himself on top of Ivanov and started beating him until a guard pulled him away.

Ivanov stood up and wiped the blood from his jaw. "Boy, I told you that you both will pay dearly if you do anything wrong." I went over to my brother and put my hand on his shoulder in an effort to soothe him.

Ivanov only grinned and waved his hand before two guys dragged me away from Enzo and had my bow before the moron. Enzo was securely held by 2 more men who also caught him.

"What do you think about my offer, son?" He asks, his eyebrows elevated.

I spat out, "Rot in hell."

"You will pay for your brother insulting me," I assure you. He gave the order to beat the crap out of me, and his men carried it out.

I was punched by a man who had just approached me, sending my head flying to the side.

I didn't care whether they kicked me, hit me, or attempted to suffocate me. My attention was on my twin, who was essentially pleading with Ivanov. I felt more suffering from hearing my brother's sobs and yells than from being struck.

Ivanov said, smiling, "Enough now." This was amusing to that jerk.

Immediately when they released me, I leaned against the wall with my back against it and put my palm to my head, feeling what I knew to be blood streaming down.

Ivanov said, "Let him go," and his men quickly released their hold on me.

"What do you think of my offer", I said. "I would die first, you bastard," I vowed. He simply laughed before leaving the jail.

Enzo raced to me and knelt in front of me as soon as his men departed. He encircled me in his arms, laid his head on my shoulder, and sobbed. I used to make fun of him for being 2 hours older than him, but I never realised he truly thought of me as his elder brother.

I try to calm him right away and quickly wrap him in my arms safely. As I realise that he believed himself to be accountable, tears well up in my eyes.

I whispered, "It's not your fault," while gently rubbing his back in an effort to reassure him.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. Our brothers will find us and kill Ivanov, especially Grandpa and Cousin Victor," I reassured him.

Little did I realise that it would be too late by the time we finally saw our family after a week.

End of flashback.

"What happened during that week?" nervously asked Daniel.

I hesitated a bit, then said, "The same thing he tortured both of us to get us to beg him." I observed him firmly holding onto his tie. I gently grinned as I embraced him with my hands. He remained cold and stiff until he encircled me with his arms. Out of all of us, he was the coldest and most threatening, yet he also cared the most about us. Daniel swore, "I will make that jerk pay for his actions." I felt a surge of gratitude and admiration for my brother. Despite his tough exterior, he was willing to do whatever it took to protect us and make things right. I knew that with him by our side, we could face any challenge that came our way.

As we stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, I could feel the tension in Daniel's body slowly begin to ease. It was rare for him to show vulnerability, but he knew that he could trust me with his deepest fears and emotions.

I could sense the anger and determination simmering beneath the surface of his calm demeanour. He was not one to back down from a fight, especially when it came to protecting his loved ones. I knew that he would stop at nothing to make the person responsible for our suffering pay for their crimes.

Despite the gravity of the situation, I felt a sense of comfort and security knowing that Daniel had our backs.
