before you all wonder why the dog's pic. no reason I just found it way too adorable. I am finally going to write in Isabella's pov I missed her a lot.

Isabella's POV:

I heard the news of Antonio getting hurt, my mind was in a state of disbelief. How could this happen? He was one of the most powerful and respected members of the Cosa Nostra. The thought of him being injured in an accident was undoubtedly suspicious and shocking.

Sandy had told me about Sylvie being ordered by Victor and Daniel to gather information on the Russians and Felix. These illegal activities were a part of my life, but I couldn't help feeling detached from them lately. My mind was preoccupied with spending time with my "brothers," even though they were only so in name.

Despite my reluctance to get emotionally attached to them, I couldn't deny the feeling of sadness that overwhelmed me at the thought of Antonio's injury. Something was wrong with me. Perhaps it was because, after meeting them, I realized that I had missed out on so much. Arguments, playtime, and being a child were all foreign to me. I couldn't help but wonder what my life would have been like if my mother hadn't kidnapped me from my family. The hatred I felt for her was indescribable. She didn't deserve to be called a mother.

As I snapped out of my thoughts, Giovanni's voice brought me back to reality. He stopped the car, and I realized that we had arrived at our destination.

"we are here let us collect clothes for Antonio and then return. also, let's take Edward with us he was with victors secretary and his family." I eagerly nodded in agreement, wanting to see Edward, the one brother I had grown to love. He was too young and adorable for me not to care for him.

As I entered Antonio's room, the dark aura that emanated from his room was just like Victor and Daniels's dark lack it gave off a completely negative aura. As I walked towards the wardrobe, the sound of my footsteps echoed through the room, amplifying the eerie silence that filled the air. It was as if the room was holding its breath, waiting for something to happen. I opened his wardrobe which had only black and blue coats and suits no casual wear so I silently took one of the coats and carefully folded it, trying not to disturb the that seemed to inhabit the room. As I reached for the coat, I heard the sound off against the fabric which felt very creepy. I hated it as I couldn't carry any weapon with me in this damn house.

But as I turned to leave, my eyes were drawn to a photo frame on the wall. It was an old frame, with intricate carvings and a faded gold finish. The photo inside was taken when I was just a toddler. I heard my heart thudding in my chest. The sound seemed to fill the room, drowning out everything else.

In the picture, my poor excuse of a mother stood next to a young man with the same eye and hair colour as me. He had his arm casually thrown across my mother's shoulder and was gazing at me lovingly, just like everyone else in the photo. It was undoubtedly my late father. Tears threatened to spill from my eyes, but I held them back. I couldn't help but feel a sense of longing and sadness. I quickly took a photo of the picture before collecting the clothes and heading downstairs.

As I approached, I saw that he was waiting with a man and woman, who I recognized as Salvestro, Victor's right-hand man and one of the higher members of the, along with his wife. They had Edward with them, and the moment he saw me, he ran towards me and jumped into my arms, causing me to chuckle I felt his tiny hands wrap around my neck as he hugged me tightly.

"Bella, he is Victor's junior and friend, Salvestro. You will meet him many times in the future," Giovanni said cryptically, I acknowledged their presence before turning my attention to Edward, who was still in my arms, smiling widely. He looked up at me with his big, innocent eyes, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth in my heart.

"sissy," Edward asked, "what's wrong with Antonio why was grandma crying?"

I looked down at the five-year-old boy and sighed, realizing that I had forgotten to explain the situation to him. "Antonio's not feeling very well," I said, trying to keep my tone gentle. "He's in the hospital so that the doctors can help him get better."

"Will he be okay?" Edward asked, his eyes wide with concern.

"I am sure he is," Gio said, putting a hand on his shoulder.

Edward looked up at us with a solemn expression. "Can we go see him?"

"Sure, come," I said, nodding my head and Gio who went in front.

As we got into the car, I felt a sense of gratitude for 's innocence and his desire to help his brother. I drove to the hospital, with Edward drawing his picture in the back seat.

As we arrived at the hospital, I explained to Edward that we needed to be quiet and careful as we walked through the halls. We made our way to Antonio's room, and I knocked softly on the door before entering.

Antonio smiled weakly as he saw us walk in. "Hey, little man," he said, reaching out to ruffle Edward's hair. "What brings you here?"

"I drew you a picture!" Edward said, holding up his artwork proudly. My brothers took a quick peek at the drawing before turning away to hide their smiles, while Grandpa pursed his lips tightly, trying to suppress his laughter. My uncles and aunts disguised their chuckles as coughs, but I could tell they were thoroughly amused by Edward's artwork.

Antonio smirked and exchanged looks with us before he took the picture and looked at it with a smile. "Wow, this is amazing," he said, admiring Edward's drawing skills. "Thank you so much, buddy."

Grandma commented, "Reminds me, dear, we have a family tradition. What now? I grumbled mentally.

"Oh yeah, we have to have a painting with all of us together love," Dante said smirking

As grandma brought up our family tradition, part of me inwardly sighs at the emotional weight it carries, But another part of me feels the familiar warmth and comfort that comes from being surrounded by loved ones who know nothing about me. how will they feel when they get to know I am betraying them?

"We have to go back as our work is pending, we came only to meet Isabella," Nicollo says, his words laced with regret as he watches my brothers' faces fall with disappointment and reluctance at the thought of the impending separation. They had hoped for more time together. Nicollo's words that they must return to Italy cause a pang of sadness in my heart at the thought of our imminent separation. I see dismay and reluctance spread across my brothers' faces, though they try to hide it, not wanting to dampen the joy of our reunion. They had hoped for more time together.

Tony remarked, attempting to get up, "Ya, we can start getting ready now."

"Certainly not," Victor and Daniel say firmly, their brotherly concern and love for Tony evident in his tone. I can hear the worry etched in their voice.

"Sit down right now," Uncle Lorenzo orders sternly, his voice lined with fatherly protectiveness and care for Tony's wellbeing.

What the hell" when Grandma and the aunties speak in this stern tone, it feels almost scary. Their disapproval and frustration were evident, showing how seriously they take Tony's health and recovery.

"Sit down right now" Uncle Leander and Aunty Luna's commanding voices carry an air of strictness but also deep love and concern. They wanted to ensure Tony listens to reason and does not aggravate his injuries.

"No way. Don't even think about it." - Grandpa's forceful words, though frightening, stem from a place of genuine care and devotion toward his grandson. His desire to keep Tony safe, even from his own stubbornness, shows how precious Tony is to him. His stern demeanour masked the worry he feels for Tony's wellbeing. but thanks to my mafia training I can easily read emotions.

"No way," Tony groans reluctantly as he obeys, probably the love he feels for his family compelling him to listen to their concern for his health.

"Be reasonable, Tony. You're injured, you need to focus on recovering not getting back to work" Armando tried to convince.

"Tony, don't argue with us. We solely have your best interests in mind." Enzo stated.

"So please, put your health first" Tony ignored Grandma's pleas as he turned to me for assistance, confident that I would be heard by everyone. I scowled but followed orders nevertheless.

He grumbled, "I'm not staying in the hospital."

"He's correct. Allow him to be if he feels fine" I tried to help him by speaking. When Tony stood up to go, I could feel Victor and Leo scowling at me, but no one spoke.

"so we leave the day after tomorrow then" Dante finally spoke as we were about to leave the hospital.
