"Under no circumstances, you are to exit the Helicopter, (Y/N)."

I hummed in agreement, fixing my sit position

"I want you to stay with the pilot and don't leave unless it's an emergency."

"Understood, Dr. Kal'tsit." I said before giving back the microphone to Ace

"Good. And Ace, tell Amiya to stay safe out there."

"Roger." Ace answered, "(Y/N), I hope you don't do anything stupid while you're in here."

I shook my head, "Ah ah, I won't do anything, Ace."

"Heh, we'll see about that." Ace scoffed, other operators were looking at us. ...

"Oh yeah! I forgot about you, little girl!" I looked at her brown bunny ears,

"My name is (Y/N), code name is... Yoro..? I prefer being called (Y/N) though." I held my hands up to her

"Oh! It's nice to have you in Rhodes Island, (Y/N)!" She shook my hand, Rhodes even sends in kids to these things?

"I am Amiya, Leader of Rhodes Island, it's nice to meet you!"

"You look surprised, (Y/N)." Ace asked me, "Hasn't Kal'tsit told you?"

"Whuh... But, how..? She's shorter than me!" I said surprised, Amiya looked at me a bit annoyed

"Hey! I am not short!" Amiya puffed up

"A-Ah... S-Sorry... Nice to meet you too, Amiya."

Ace pats my shoulder, "Don't be fooled by her appearance, (Y/N). She's actually a great leader."

I stared at the floor for a while before speaking again, "Well... If Ace says that, then I believe you are a great leader, Amiya." I gave her a thumbs up, She smiled

"Amiya, we're closing into the location, ETA in 30 seconds." The Pilot says

"Alright, everyone, get your gears and prepare for landing!" Amiya told the rest of the operators in the Helicopter, they all took their respective tools and.. Weapons too... Wait..

"Ah, uhm... Amiya..?" I asked concerned, "What mission is this exactly..?"

"Oh, sorry, I forgot to tell you earlier..." Her face went serious, "Our current mission is to.. Retrieve the Doctor." "The Doctor?"

Doctors... As far as I know, they cure and help people who are sick and injured. Not like.. Him.

Speaking of Dr. Money, I bet he's still alive now... Somewhere... "Everyone, standby for clearing!" Amiya declares out to the operators, "(Y/N), it was nice meeting you," The door starts to open,

"Let's talk again sometimes." She waved goodbye as she jumped down from the Helicopter "Ah! Wait..."

"It's fine." Ace pats my shoulder, "It's not that high off the ground." He walked towards the door

"Stay safe in here, alright?"

"..Okay..." I started in awe as the rest of the operators jumped off one by one,

Looking outside, everything was so.. Destroyed. Smokes came from every ruined building, some catching on fire and some collapsed to the ground, maybe caused by some explosion.

"What.. Happened to the buildings..?" I asked the pilot, who was wearing black glasses and his face seems to be covered by clothing to form some sort of mask for his mouth

"Not sure, from what I heard, Reunion has gone on a rampage and is rioting in Chernobog."

"They've gone insane! Fighting the Ursus Military like that!" The other guy beside the pilot said in anger, this time only wearing a beanie

"Riots, huh..." I sat there as the door closed, the Helicopter started elevating, "Are they infected, too?"

"Yeah, they and us ain't so different, but we think differently." Beanie guy said, watching as the sky got more clear.

"I see... Then, what now..?"

"We'll standby near the extraction point, and get them out of here." The Pilot said as the Helicopter maneuvered around the sky

"It might take a while, too. So get comfortable around 'ere." The Beanie guy said as he put his hands behind his head, positioning himself into a more comfortable position "Really..? Well, shucks... Should've brought my bag..." I scoffed in disappointment

This will be a great waiting time.. Goddamnit... Might as well have a look around, later. Time skip "Is this really the nearest to the point.. ?" I asked concerned

"Of course! This way, no danger will get us!" The beanie guy laughed off

"But it's so high up here! You can literally touch the sky!"

Where are we now? On top of a fucking tall building! Holy shit!

"I can see the whole city from here!" I yelled in amazement as I looked over from the ledge

"Aye! Knock it off! You're actin' like a child!" The beanie guy pulled me from the crook of my shirt

"Stay quiet, will ya? Kal'tsit would kill us if we mess up bad!"

"Ow! Jeez, fine! It's been a long time since I got out!"

I sat down on a near crate, they both were either continuing on their own things, the pilot who looked like he was checking the Helicopters engine, and Beanie guy who was chugging down what looks like a water pouch..? Though, he looked like his face were a bit red.

"Kevin! I told you to not drink in the middle of a mission goddamnit!" The pilot yelled at Beanie guy, who was now called Kevin

"Pfft! Why are you so mad about, aye?" Kevin giggled weirdly as they both got into an argument, great.

Well, asides from that, it was still a bit creepy though, the eerie sound of crackling fire and the wind, accompanied by a faint yell from below, though I'm not sure where it specifically came from, it definitely was yelling in pain.

So I sat there and stared at the sky for a while, pondering about the situation right now, whether if it was the best idea if I came here or not. ...

Because they argue so loudly.

"Can you, keep it down!" I shouted at them, they both got startled and stopped yelling at each other

"I know its bad to drink right now, but please.. Uhm... Huh.. "

"Aye? What's wrong, (Y/N)?" Kevin asked "You guys think.. Those are normal..?" I pointed towards a black cloud, which was forming bigger and bigger

"..Catastrophe." Pilot said as he took a step back, "...This is bad.. Really bad." "What..?"

He quickly ran towards the pilot seat, seemingly in a hurry "Hey, what's wrong with it..?"

"You don't know?! They're the things that destroy everything it lands on!" He yelled in panic too, "Pilot! You better hurry up!" He yelled

"Ace, Ace! Ace do you hear me?!" Pilot yelled into the radio, "There is a Catastrophe right above you! I repeat, there is a Catastrophe right above you!"

The radio seemed to only blur out static noises before a fully male voice came over

"Loud and clear, Reunion's got us in a pinch. We're arriving there in 10 minutes!" The voice over the radio said, as more and more statics were heard, before finally cutting off.

"Damnit!" The pilot smalled the radio down in frustration, "You guys! Get on! They're coming to our extraction point, (Y/N) come on!" He yelled louder as the engine started revving up

"Huh?! Oh, right!" I was taken aback from the sudden aggression, but snapped out of it and quickly got in the Helicopter

"Hold on tight! The weather is changing too!" The Pilot says as the Helicopter starts shaking due to the massive gusts of wind

Rumble Rumble

"I-Is that bad?!"

"OF COURSE IT IS! I didn't think it would be much more worse than I expected!" He tries to get ahold of the Helicopters bearings as the wind gets more stronger and stronger.

"H-Holy shit! Pilot! There's a big rock comin' towards us!" Kevin said pointing towards the incoming giant meteor coming towards us. Almost as the size of the Helicopter, the air getting more warmer and warmer.

"Fuck! We're about to crash!"

Practically breathing heavily and panicking from the sight, I tried to use my chains to stop it, only for nothing to come out from my hands

"C'mon! Work, damnit!" I shouted in anger as the rock got closer and closer, still no result.

No good. I have to think of another plan.

"Cooperate with me! Fucking stupid chains!" I pointed at the meteor before opening my palm

Clank!

Got it.

FWOOSH!

Using all of the energy I could've mustered up, I pulled the meteor back from nearby building I used for the chains to grab onto it, missing us completely.

BAM!

"Holy shit! We dodged it! Pilot! We dodged it!" Kevin shook Pilot as he celebrated, "(Y/N), you good buddy?"

Drip.

Are you kidding me.

"P-Pilot! He's bleeding!"

"Urgh.." I staggered, "Don't worry... I'm fine.." I wiped the blood off my nose, "Still, are we there..?"

BOOM!

A sudden explosion occurred below of, followed by a wave of heat, making me wince in pain as I covered my eyes

"Argh! That hurts!"

"T-Thats Ace!" Pilot says as hes breathing more heavily

"GET BACK!" Ace yelled as loud as he could to us from below, "YOU'RE ABOUT TO GET HIT!"

Wha-

BWOOSH!

The Helicopter suddenly went haywire, free-falling from the sky, being hurled by something so hot, it almost melted everything it touched, even me.

"G-Guys..!" I mustered out every energy I could from passing out due to the sudden knockback from something,

...

No response.

Only the burning cockpit was left.

I was the last one in here. (Author Pov) "Kid!" Ace yelled as he held his amputated left arm, "Damnit! We lost our escape helicopter!"

"Amiya! She's closing in on us! What should we do?!"



"Nearl, find another route of escape! We can't let anyone die again!" Amiya prepared her black arts at The Tyrant

"Roger! Everyone! Protect the Doctor from her!" Nearl ordered her team as they started to make a circle around Doctor

"You are persistent, Rhodes." A shadowy figure can be slowly seen from the smokes



"I'm surprised you can go and run this far, but. I'm afraid this is where your story ends." She said as she swiped her sword across the smoke

"Amiya! Go and find a spot to hide! I'll hold her off!" Ace says as he readies himself for combat

"B-But Ace-"

"GO! The Doctors safety is much more important now!" Ace cut her off

"Captain!" Scout yelled at Ace

"You too go! You still have a lot to live for!" He swung his axe

They stepped towards Ace "We ain't leaving you alone, Captain!" The Ranger operator said as they got into a battle stance with their respective weapons.

"Enough." She fired a volley of fireballs towards them, Ace quickly positioned himself infront of the fireballs BAM! "ACE!" Amiya and the rest yelled in worry, the smoke cleared out, and Ace was seen to have parried it with only his Axe.

Talulah only got irritated by this, "Go on, Rhodes. You won't get away this time." She held her hands up as a giant fire was being created, cheering and shouting were heard in the background

"Go get them, Talulah!" One of the Reunion member yelled behind her

"Victory is upon us! Talulah will kill the traitors!" The crowd got more excited

Amiya quickly ran towards Ace and checked on him, "Ace! Ace, Are you okay?!"

Ace staggered down as Amiya supported him, "Hurk.. I'm fine!" He coughed a few times, "I told you to go..."

"B-But..!"

"LISTEN!" Ace shouted sternly, "Our mission is to protect and bring back Doctor! Whatever happens, you must continue the Mission!" Ace shouted lightly at Amiya as the rest of the Scout team circle in around them "..."

Amiya couldn't respond to his shouts, she only nodded and slowly backed away from Ace, hoping that he would still be okay.

"Now, go. Take Doctor away with you." Ace picked his axe back up and got back up in his combat stance

"P-Please come back safe, Ace..." Amiya said with sadness in her tone as she started jogging towards the route Nearl had found.

"Is that it? You disappoint me." Talulah scoffed at them before firing off a wave of flame towards them FWOOSH!

"G-GAH!" Ace fell down as his lower legs suddenly got cut off by her

"CAPTAIN!" One of the Scout teams tried to go him, only to be blocked by a Reunion member swarming around them.

"Tch! Get out of my way!"

"THEY KEEP ON COMING!" The guard operator said as he slashed the Reunion member

"CAPTAIN!" The Ranged Operator shouted as she shot one of the Reunion members between their eyes, "We can't hold them off for long!"

"Stay close! We have to let Amiya go further away from us!" Ace ordered his team

Talulah only scoffed at his yells and shot a giant Fireball straight to Ace.

"CAPTAIN! LOOK OUT!" The Ranged Operator yelled as the Fireball grew closer and closer to Ace, he was startled by this and braced for impact

CTANK! ...

It hit.

But not at him "Who are you, now?"



(Y/N) gradually appeared from the cloud of dust, his chains completely shutting off her attack

Talulah was surprised to see her attacks completely gone from him.

"(Y/N)! Step back! She's too strong for y-"

Another Fireball was hurled at (Y/N), which he retaliated with another chain bursting from the ground, striking the Fireball.

BOOM!

"You the leader here?" (Y/N) glared down to her as he winced due to the sudden heat increase

"Who are you? I haven't seen you in the group." Talulah pointed her sword at (Y/N)

"Me? It doesn't matter. You're my enemy anyways." (Y/N) said as he got more irritated by her appearance, the surroundings gets hotter and hotter

"(Y/N) GET OUT OF THERE!" Ace yelled at him, "SHES THE LEADER! GET OUT OF HERE NOW!"

"Not until your safe." (Y/N) lifted his hands up

CLANK!

"AARGH!" The Reunion members shouted in pain as a black chain gushed out from their abdomen

"What the?" One of Ace's team stepped back in confusion

Ace looked back, only to see the rest of the hundreds of Reunion Members to be dead, with chains rising up their guts.

"I don't like your vibe, Fire Lady." He pointed at Talulah, "How about you leave?"

"Leave?" Talulah grew more impatient as she turned the area more hotter, flames starting to burst near her, "I have no time to play with you, boy."

"You want it? Come get it, bitch." (Y/N) readied himself for a fight, "Ace, you might want to patch yourself up."

"KID!" Ace shouted at (Y/N), which was ignored

"Captain! We're glad you're safe!" The Medic Operator said, "Hold still, this might sting."

"G-Get him out of there! He's no match for her!" Ace pointed towards (Y/N) as the fire got bigger, completely blocking the way to (Y/N)

"W-We can't do anything! He's stuck inside the fire!" Guard Operator said in panic

"Who is he, Ace?" Meanwhile 'Fuck! This just keeps getting hotter and hotter! I don't want to ditch the coat!' (Y/N) thought to himself as he starts sweating.

"Let's end this quickly, boy." Talulah quickly dashed towards (Y/N)

"Oh shit!" He bursted chains off the ground in front of him, stopping her slash

CLINK!

"Tch."

"Heh, try again." (Y/N) got up to her and punched her in the face, staggering her back

Giving no time for her to get back up, he quickly summoned more chains towards her, intending to strike her

CTANK!

But Talulah recovered and parried his chain strikes completely with her sword, getting more irritated.

She quickly bursted flames from the ground, blinding (Y/N).

'GAH! W-WHAT THE FUCK?!'

GRAASH!

"AARGH!" (Y/N) shouted in pain as a sword stabbed him in the back

"You've tried your best." Talulah twisted her sword, making (Y/N) scream more in agony before kicking him down.

"I thought you could do better. What a shame." She swiped the blood off her sword as she stared at (Y/N)'s lying body on the ground

Pointing her swords at (Y/N), she burned his dead body completely as the crowd cheers got louder. "Now that's out of the wa-" THUMP!

She was quickly cut off by a sudden punch in the gut

"I'm not dead yet, Lady." (Y/N) grinned as Talulah fell back down

"Y-You..." She held her punched area as she gasped for air.

"Heh, learnt that somehow. I'll call it Allusion." (Y/N) snapped his fingers as Talulah was chained back down to the ground

CLANK!

"I'm pretty mad you made me ditch the coat." He pointed down at Talulah as he mocked her
