Talulah soon came into my view, slowly walking toward me with her sword

"Are you seriously going to sacrifice your own life for that bunny?" She stomped down on my guts, making me grunt in pain,

"You traitor." "T-Traitor..? The fuck is that supposed to mean.." I struggled to catch my breath as she twisted her foot, "Urgh!"

"Whatever. This is your end now. I will make it as painful as possible."

JAB!

"AAAAAARGH!" She stabbed her sword into my chest, and it slowly boiled my skin, "F-FUCK! IT BURNS!"

"Savor it." Talulah grinned maniacally as she twisted her sword more.

"Hey, Talulah~ Had your fun already~? The other group already left you know~"



"W." Talulah looked at her unamused, "Chase them down, and kill them while you're at it." She handed her my torn-off coat.

W looked at her confused before understanding what she meant,

"Okay, okay~ See you later then~" She waved playfully before jumping up to one of the buildings

"B-Bitch... What are you doing..?!"

"Silence." GRAASH! "URGH!" She stabbed her sword deeper into my chest.

"I'm surprised you're still living despite the situation right now." She moved her sword more into my chest

One of the Reunion members arrived behind her, "T-Talulah! We've got the tower under control now!" He saluted

"Good. We have won then." She pulled her sword back

"Let's go."

"Talulah! What about him!" One of the Reunion members said

"Leave him. He's dead anyway."

The grunts looked at each other before leaving the charred battlefield, leaving me behind as I lay there bleeding, cheering on for their victory.

'Seriously..? I think it wasn't long before I almost had a near-death experience...' (Author Pov) (Y/N) slowly sat up from his blood puddle, checking his wound

'I can't believe that worked...'

How did he live through that? Well, when he was being brutally tortured alive by Talulah, he covered his inside wounds with Originium Rocks so that it didn't damage more of his flesh, though it still has some backfires.

'Shit... Might pass out now, never using that technique again...'

(Y/N) slowly got up shakily, trying his best to not fall again, his mind foggy and numb.

'The fire is still spreading... G-Gotta go meet with the others...'

He slowly limped away from the burning area, going into one of the alleyways to hide.

'Ace... Yeah, he's fine...' (Y/N) chuckled to himself. Meanwhile "A-Ace?! What happened?!" Amiya was shocked by his injuries, with one of his arms gone and both of his legs almost gone.

"Amiya! Ace is badly injured, please get us a Medic!" Scout says panicked as he supported Ace up.

"Amiya.. He..." Ace was breathing heavily.

"Hold still! What happened to you?! M-Medic!"

"(Y/N) GOT ME OUT OF THERE!"

"(Y-Y/N)..? B-But how..."

"I don't know." Ace pinched the bridge of his nose, "But he survived the crash and... Distracted Talulah herself..."

"N-No..." Amiya was shaken by the news, "H-He's fine, right..?" "..." Ace was silent. "..I see..." Amiya's voice was quiet The atmosphere only got gloomier, everyone was already badly injured and some were almost at death's door by now.

Amiya quickly recomposed herself, "Dobermann, how's the situation right now..?"

"A new emergency Helicopter is headed this way, we'll have to wait here until it arrives."

"Alright... Everyone. Please here rest for tonight! We will leave as soon as the Helicopter arrives!"

Amiya orders the Rhodes Island operators, as they were all tired out from the constant battles they went through.

"Amiya." Dobermann pats her back, "What happened to Ace? And, what happened to (Y/N)?"

"He's dead." Ace answered Dobermann

"A-Ace!" Amiya was surprised

"It's true, you've seen how she burnt down everything easily, Amiya." Ace convinced her that (Y/N) was definitely dead. "..." Amiya's face darken more

"Are you okay, Amiya?" The Doctor said, concerned and a bit anxious for the little bunny's condition



"Ah, Dokutah, I'm fine." Amiya reassured Doctor, "Please rest, this might take awhile..."

The Doctor nodded and sat near one of the chairs that were noticeable in the ruined building.

"Amiya, are you sure Talulah isn't going to find us..?" One of the operators said

"It's fine, we won't be found easily." She told him,

"Let's hope Catastrophe won't fall again..." (Y/N Pov) ".. What's your name again?"

"It's Web!"

"Ah."

I said whilst walking beside a devil-horned woman, she was swaying left and right, which was unsettling

Where did she come from? Well, she landed right beside me. Literally.

"Sooo... Just 'Web', right..?"

"Mhm!"

"Okay..." I scratched my chin, "Where are you from..?"

"I'm from Rhodes, like you!" She exclaimed excitingly, for some reason.

"Oh, are you lost too?"

She nodded

"Alright, Let's go find the bunny."

We were walking by the ruined streets, fire was evident everywhere, some houses were already burnt to the ground, while others were in critical condition.

I think I also smell a strong stench of.. God knows what.

"Hey, why are you hiding both of your arms behind you?"

"Hmm? What's wrong with that~?" She said as she got uncomfortably close to my face

"Okay jeez." I pushed her face away, "I won't ask again"

She giggled before continuing our walk, "Say, are you new in Rhodes?"

"Hm? Me?" I pointed to myself, "Yeah, I guess you could say that."

"Woow~ Rhodes already has people like you!"

"Yea- Wait, aren't you from Reunion?" I pointed at her

"Me? No no no! I think you mistook me for someone else!"

I hummed, "I mean, you sound familiar... Ah, whatever." 10 Minutes Later Going through ruined piles of concrete and cars, we eventually got out of the small street

FWOOSH

A sudden whizzing of air passed beside me, startling me

"(Y/N)?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH HER!?" Someone yelled behind one of the buildings

Suddenly, W got her guns out, pointed towards where the arrow came from, "Oh? That's not a nice welcome gift, Rhodes~"

"Whuh... What the fuck?!" I was surprised by the grenade launcher she was suddenly wielding

"Lower your weapons, Rhodes~ I have a hostage here~ She smiled crazily, "Although it won't be fun."

"What do you want?!" Dobermann appeared from the building as she yelled, her whip ready in her hands

I was... Confused, at the moment. Rhodes... W... Uh huh... So, I was right.

"Wait, you ARE from Reunion." I face-palmed myself as the situation escalated more.

"Hey, (Y/N)." W whispered to me, "Can you keep this for me?" She handed me a cell phone, which I slowly took

"What for..?" I was confused by her actions, as she was sometimes cheery, and scary. Like right now.

"Just give it to the hooded person, okay? Or do you want blood everywhere?" She smiled

"Woah, jeez. I will." I pocketed the phone, and suddenly got pointed by a gun in the head

"Hey, Rhodes~ You hear me, right~?" She cocked her gun even more into my head, which was scary! Why are all of the girls scary?! Nooo idea.

"Listen to me, and there won't be any more blood spilled here~" She smiled crazily

"Uhm." I stood there, waiting for anyone to save my ass from being killed again

"(Y/N)!" Amiya suddenly sprung behind from the buildings, as more and more operators make their way out, weapons ready

"Ah! If it isn't the Leader! Good timing!"

"You! What do you want?!" Dobermann stood beside Amiya

"Ah, nothing in particular. I want to meet this so-called... Doctor."

Everyone tensed up

"Wha- Ooh, yeah..." I whispered to myself as the situation got more.. Awkward, for me.

"What do you want with Dokutah..?" Amiya cautiously asked

"Hmm~ Just a little talk, nothing else~"

"What was the phone for the-"

BANG!

"ARGH, FUCK!" A bullet logged right into my right arm.

"Keep it quiet now~"

"(Y/N)!" Amiya was now more concerned.

I staggered back down, grunting as I clutched my right arm, trying to stop yet another wound. Again. W giggled devilishly before facing back to Rhodes,

"Come on, now~ It's better if you cooperate with me~"

My mind was.. Pretty numb at this point, losing grip of my surroundings, my senses started to get foggier and foggier as I tried to close my wound. Everything was all mumbled and sickening at this point.

Losing more blood, I struggled to stay awake now, using my last energy to close it as a last resort.

...

Which, surprisingly worked.

'Now that's out of the way... Nevermind, I might ACTUALLY pass out.'

Looking up, I saw W, who was talking to.. The Doctor, I suppose.

Looking besides me, I saw the operators running up to me, seemingly in a panic.

'Ah, well. Guess that's solved...' I chuckled to myself before passing out, hitting the harsh, cold floor.

Feels like... Such a clichè...

GG!! Sorry it took a while, I have been going on a unplanned vacation (forced to go) and surprisingly enjoyed it, sooo. I'm sorry, i couldnt write without my headphones on, My mind is too loud
