"I'm fine, I'm fine! No need for that!" (Y/N) pushed her hand away, saying no to her.

"A-Are you sure..? Amiya said that you were bleeding a lot earlier..."

"Don't worry, I have uhm.. Oripathy Healing..." (Y/N) said to her, trying to convince her that he is fine.

"Y-You can heal yourself..? Oh, w-wow..." The Medic was amazed by his claim, though she was still skeptical about it.

"Yeah, it's fine. Don't worry about it." He waved it off, clenching his poorly bandaged arm,

"You still have a lot of badly injured ones to treat, It's better if you save your energy for others." He continued

"Uhm.." She nodded slowly, (Y/N) told her politely to go away as he walked to his former boss, Amiya.

"Hey, Amiya. How are you feeling?" He asked casually as he struggled to hide his still bleeding arm in his- ehem, Mostima's coat.

"Ah, Hello, (Y/N). How are your injuries?" Amiya greeted (Y/N) with a soft voice

"Nothing serious, just got shot in the arm earlier." He grinned

"That's.. Still bad."

"Pfft."

They both chuckled a little before settling down.

"...How's the Doctor?" (Y/N) asked as he watched the outside of the window, looking down on the desolate, broken city

"Dokutah..? He's fine, thankfully." Amiya sighed

"Can I meet him real quick? I want to.. Talk to him privately. Y'know, to see what he is like." (Y/N) said quietly to her, as he still remembers what W told her to do, he knows it would be stupid of him to listen to the enemy, but he insisted on keeping his promise.

"You want to meet Dokutah? Of course! Dokutah is currently resting in the next room, you can meet Ace there too!" Amiya told (Y/N)

"Okay, thanks a lot, Amiya." He patted her back, earning a gentle smile from Amiya before venturing out into the hallways, walking to the next room.

'The cell phone... Where is it- Oop, still have it. Thank God.'

Strolling toward the next room, a sudden call was heard from his pocket.

'Ah?'

Pulling the phone out, He inspected the phone screen. It was an unknown number calling.

'Is it W? Oh, of course it is. The phone IS from her after all.' He thought to himself.

Accepting the unknown number's call, (Y/N) was greeted with an eerie giggle from W, as expected.

"Well Well! Hows your day, Doctor~?"

"W, I am still on my way to him, please settle down."

...

"You? I thought you already gave it to him."

"Oh come on. You shot me. Right in the arm."

She laughed, mocking (Y/N).

"Ahaha~ Did it hurt~? I hope it burned like hell~"

'This girl is... Fucking insane.'

"Urgh. Just- hold on? You'll meet the Doctor in a minute."

"Hehe~ Okay oka-"

(Y/N) instantly hung up as soon as W answered him, not wanting to deal with a psychopathic devil.

'When can I go home? This ordeal is making me tired...' He thought to himself, sighing as he arrived at the door.

Opening it slowly, (Y/N) was greeted with a familiar face

"Oh, (Y/N)! You're alive!" Scout stood infront of him as he greeted (Y/N) excitedly

"Ah, that was kind of mean." He said with a bland face

"I'm joking, come on! You want to meet Ace right?" He pushed (Y/N) into the room as he closed the door, they started walking towards an occupied bed, which was probably Ace in it.

"Yeah, and Amiya said that the Doctor is here."

"Oh, he is." He answered with a tinge of anger, "Right in that bedroom, currently with another Medic, he passed out earlier." Scout pointed to another room that was signed "♡Mom♡" with a cardboard box.

"Right..." (Y/N) felt bad a bit after reading the sign, clearly a family had lived here before.

The room was an average Apartement you could find in almost anywhere, it was still messy and dirty, probably because of the impact Catastrophe that hit Chernobog

(Y/N) then saw Ace laying in bed, clenching the bed with his right arm as he quietly stared off into the broken window

Scout decided to break the silence and coughed in his arms, getting the attention of Ace "Ehem. Captain. How are your arms?"

"Scout, does this look fine to you?" Ace answered a bit annoyed at his teams antics,

"I'm fine, yes. But my arm? I got humiliated, Scout!"

"Sorry Captain, but someone wants to meet you now!" Scout awkwardly pushed (Y/N) to the side of the bed, as (Y/N) could do nothing as he also awkwardly greeted Ace with Scout leaving the two with their own talks "Ey there, Ace."

Ace's face was shocked as he quickly looked over to his side, "(Y/N)?! Oh, kiddo. It is you!" He looked relieved to see the young man still alive and well, surprisingly.

"Old man, How you've been? I'm guessing its not the best, eh?" (Y/N) smirked as he could only see Ace being annoyed instantly after he said that.

"Oh, come on, (Y/N). Don't give me that look."

"Sorry, sorry. Just wanted to see how you're doing. You were literally cut off!" (Y/N) grabbed a nearby chair as he sat down

"Right, but I'm more worried about YOU, kid! Did you know who you were facing off against?! that was their Leader!"

"Yeah, and I beaten her easily."

...

"YOU WHAT?!" Ace was shocked, how could he not? Talulah was a force to be reckoned with. Even he couldn't stop her raging fire.

"Well, not really... I escaped before I could've possibly died."

"..."

Nevermind, Ace wasn't impressed now. More like he was annoyed

"Seriously. Stop joking around."

"Pfft. Right, right..." (Y/N) snickered as he continued having a conversation with Ace, mostly asking about his conditions and their own problems, it was a nice time that (Y/N) really enjoyed.

"How are you gonna work again, Ace? Are you gonna get retired man?" (Y/N) asked concerned.

Well, mostly concerned because he hasn't seen Ace in his full combat capabilities. He really wanted to see the Elite Operators in action! Sadly, not today.

"Ah, no. Hopefully Kal'tsit has a solution to this... problem." He assured (Y/N) as he waved it off ! A sudden call was heard from (Y/N)'s pocket, cutting off the talk of the two

"A call? At this time? Did you get a girl already?" Ace teased (Y/N)

(Y/N) scoffed and annoyed by the call, pulling the phone out of his pocket as he got up from his chair, "Nah, its not even mine. I've been planning to return it..."

"Oh? You steal now?"

"Very funny, Ace."

Ace chuckled as he sees (Y/N) frustrated as he fumbled around with the phone, seemingly trying to shut it up.

"Well, as much as I want to continue our talk, I gotta go and meet Doctor now..."

"Alright, alright. Talk to you later, then?" Ace held his fist up

"Sure! Have a good day!" (Y/N) responded as he fist bumped Ace, making the two laugh before (Y/N) walked away from Ace as he waved goodbye.

'Next... Meet the Doctor...' He sighed, walking to the door, still looking at the sign.

'..Maybe they're safe... Yeah, think positive.'

(Y/N) knocked on the door, not to be rude by suddenly slamming it open.

"Ah?! A-Ace, hold on!" A feminine voice was heard at the other side of the door as a sound of fumbling could be heard.

"Are you the medic? I'm coming in, sorry." (Y/N) opened the door wide open.

...

"Where's the Doctor?"

Both of the girls looked in confusion, (Y/N) was still confused.

"..Isn't that the suit Doctor wore?" He pointed towards the white haired woman



(She's wearing the suit in here, okay? And no, it's not Lappland)

And that's when (Y/N) realized-

'That's the Doctor...'

'Wait-'

'I thought you were a man?!' (Y/N) thought to himself as he was shocked, did Amiya gave her the wrong information?

"Huh? Who are you?" Doctor asked him as she fixed her messy suit

'I must be trippin.'

"Wha- Huh? Oh yeah, hey Doctor. Can we talk real quick?" (Y/N) scratched his head as he was still confused.

"Uh huh, who are you? I think I remember seeing your coat somewhere..." Doctor slowly got up as she walked towards (Y/N)

"Be careful, Doctor! You just woke up!" The Medic looked at her worried

"I'm fine," She answered the Medic, "Although, you are not fine, are you?" She looked at (Y/N) squinting her eyes

"Huh?"

"...Nevermind, so. What business do you have with me? Sorry, Amiya told me I had amnesia.."

"Amnesia? Oh, don't worry. I don't have a grudge against you!" He lightly laughed it off as he brought the phone to her,

"It's just that someone wants to talk to you, privately."

Doctor was confused as she looked at the phone, and you guessed it. An unknown number was calling.

"..Who?" She looked at (Y/N) wary

"An old friend of yours..? It would be great if you tell her something."

Doctor thought to herself a moment before nodding and taking the phone, "Sure, give me some room to talk"

(Y/N) gladly agreed and he left the room with the Medic, which was still in a daze

"..."

"Hey, didn't Amiya said Doctor was a man? Why is she a full grown woman now?" (Y/N) asked the Medic

"Eh? I'm not sure... No one has ever seen Doctors face..." She answered him

"I see... Oh, spider on your shoulde- wait, Tim?"

"EEP!" She yelp as she started slapping her shoulder

"NO DON'T KILL IT!"

Later that day, Tim has been successfully saved from a spider-hating medic. (Y/N) has finally gained a new partner, Tim.

Sorry for the big ass delay, I have been playing Terraria and the Calamity Mod with my gf as of late (thats why the title is an obvious inspiration LOL). plus my messed up sleep schedule and food schedule (I wake up at night, drink coffee, wait until its morning and then proceed to starve and complain about my decisions, only to do it again the next day)
