Narrator's POV

It was another regular day at the noodle shop, no orders have been called yet and nothing interesting has happened so far as Rainbow and Lunar are practicing some of their magic, Draco is playing a video game on his phone while both Aphmau and Funneh are going through Aphmau's scrapbook ad they were looking through their old memories photos. "Aww! Looks at this one Funneh. Remember this one, Funneh? It's when we're at the park and we were trying to do leapfrog one time" Aphmau says and points at a picture of her and Funneh together.



Funneh smiles and starts to say "Yeah. Oh, do you remember-" and then was cut off by a very loud crash that was heard outside causing both Rainbow and Draco to fall off the table with Rainbow snapping her eyes open while she screamed a little and then Draco exclaimed "What Was That!?" and everyone except Tang quickly ran outside and saw a huge shadow smoke monster. "What The Heck Is That!?" Rainbow exclaimed while pointing at the smoke monster sounding scared for a moment with the others eyes widen and then Mei shouts "I don't know! But We Better Call Mk and Gold Fast!" and just before Lunar could pull out her phone the smoke monster then all the sudden grabs Lunar and lifts up her.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

Lunar screamed as she's now in the monster's grasp and everyone yells "Lunar!!!" and then Pigsy shouts "Don't worry Lunar! Uncle Pigsy's coming!" and pulls out his spoon before charging at the smoke monster, but immediately gets knocked out. "Pigsy/Uncle Pigsy!!!" both Sandy and Rainbow exclaimed and ran over to check on him, Funneh's eyes were shadowed and then looks at the smoke monster and shouts "Nobody hurts one of my uncles or holds my sisters!" and pulls out her sword and at the same time her outfit transformed into her warrior outfit.

The rest of the Krew glares at it too as they all summoned their weapons along with Aphmau as their clothes changed into their warrior outfits and then they all charged towards the smoke monster and Mei quickly pulls out her phone and calls Mk and Gold.

Meanwhile at Flower Fruit Mountain around the Same Time

"You know, when I found out I was going to be trained by The Monkey King, Great Sage, Equal to Heaven, I had no idea... THAT I'D BE STUCK HERE HAMMERING WALLS 12 HOURS A DAY!" Mk yelled as he throws the hammer away as he was using it to hammer the wall with a mural and asked "Why am I doing this again?!".

Gold was watching him while sitting on the ground as some baby monkeys were on her shoulder or head as they watched. "Ah, so I can make a nice little breakfast nook. Get some light up in here" Monkey King says while laying on his cloud as this made Gold roll her eyes with a giggle and unknown to her Monkey King was eyeing the baby monkeys who are surrounding Gold as the little ones refuse to look at their king. "But I'm meant to be Monkie Kid! Not Construction Boy! How am I supposed to do the hero stuff if I don't know the fighting stuff?!" Mk cried out while Monkey King started spinning his staff and then Monkey King says "Ooohoooh? So... You want to know the 'fighting stuff', huh?" and thrust the staff on the ground as he jumped off his cloud. "Like this?" Monkey King says and then his eyes glowed, he picked up his staff, twirls it before throwing his staff at the wall Mk was hammering and he saw this and quickly ducks down as the staff smashes a hole in the mural. "Huh?" Mk says and when the dust cleared it showed a hole through the mural, surprising Gold while Mk was in awe.

"Whoa. Yes! Exactly like that! I am ready for some awesome!" Mk says excitedly and then with determination and thought to himself 'I also want to impress Aphmau too!' and imagined Aphmau looking at him with hearts in her eyes. "Mk, you are so awesome! I'm madly in love with you!" the imaginary Aphmau says and Gold noticed this and couldn't help but snickered finding it cute on how Mk has a huge crush on Aphmau and then Mk snapped out of his daydream when he heard Monkey King laugh and said "Look, bud. You can't rush this stuff. Umm... You'll get there, you just need practice" and Mk says "But this isn't practice!" and this made Monkey King groan and turns around to look at Mk and says "I'm never going to teach you something you don't need to know, okay?" as this made Mk huff and Gold then gets up and walks up to him and places her hand on his shoulder and says "Don't worry Mk, you'll get there. You might not feel like you can do much now... But that's just because you're not a tree yet. You just hafta give yourself sometime. You're still a seed".

Mk looks at her and blinks before saying "But... I'm not a tree Gold, I'm a person" and this made Gold sigh before explaining what she meant. "What I meant to say is that you must have patience with all things but first of all with yourself. You can't always rush into things, you're still learning and I promise you'll get there, okay?" and this made Mk sigh before giving her a small smile and says "Okay... Thanks Gold" and hugs her causing Gold to smile and hug him back and while Monkey King watches with a soft look on his until he cleared his throat and says "Okay! Now, this priceless, ancient mural is not going to destroy itself! So remember: Step into the strike!" and then Mk's phone rings, pulls it out and saw it's a call from Mei. "Mk! Gold! We really need your help guys!" and she looks back to see the shadow monster as it's currently fighting the Krew and Aphmau, making Gold's eyes widen.

"A monster attacking the city? That's terrible! Dang. Guess I got to go do some boring hero stuff, instead of... this. Okay, bye!" Mk says and quickly runs out of the cave and while Gold uses her magic and teleported to the city and then Monkey King sighs.

Back at Megapolis

Gold was now flying in the air as she has her sword and was in her warrior outfit and saw the smoke monster and then noticed one of its cloth was about to grab Rainbow and quickly shouts "Rainbow, look out!" and lets out a yell while raising her sword and unknown to her the orange/yellow gem amulet that Monkey King gave her glowed and swings her sword sending a flame slash.



Rainbow saw this and quickly ducks down as the attack hits the smoke monster, but it didn't do anything and Funneh saw this and gritted her teeth and says "Damn it! This thing is stronger than I thought!" and opens a small pouch as it was filled with water and she water bends on her hand and then uses it and lay an attack on the smoke monster and at the same time Draco sended out some green energy shards at the smoke monster too.

"Where's Lunar!?" Gold exclaimed and then that's when she saw that the smoke monster had Lunar in its grasps as she was trying to get free and Gold shouts "Lunar!!!" and quickly looks at Rainbow and yells "Rainbow! Try sending an attack so we can help Lunar!" and Rainbow nods while shouting back "Got it!" and motions some wind around her and sends it towards the smoke monster.



Meanwhile with Mk

Mk arrives back to Megapolis on the hoverboard and stands next to Mei and asked "What did I miss?" as the hoverboard crashed into a building and Mei looks at him and asked "Mk, what took you so long? Gold's already here before you!" and Mk quickly says "Sorry, sorry, Monkey King was making me do boring stuff. That the bad guy?" and looks at the ominous purple smoke monster looming over Mk and Mei's heads as it was still busy fighting the Krew and Aphmau. "Yeah! You need to hurry to help the Krew and Aph and save Lunar!" and Mk says "Wait what?" and Mei points up, making Mk look up and saw Lunar in the monster's grasp as she's struggling to break free.

"Okay. Be right back. Here comes-"

"No, wait!"

"Monkie Ki-aaaaaahhhh!" the shadow monster grabbed Mk's leg with its cloth and was thrown back to the ground, Aphmau saw this while fighting with the Krew and shouted "Mk!!!" and then let out a yelp as she was grabbed and Funneh yells "Aph!!" before she and the Krew got grabbed and were thrown to the ground too. "No! Guys!!!!" Lunar shouted worriedly for her siblings and friends as she continued struggling to break free, Mk groans in pain and Mei says "Oh, yeah, we tried that" as Pigsy was in the same position as Mk while groaning in pain and Sandy dropped a cloth on him with anime tears coming down and then the Krew and Aphmau quickly went towards the group with Draco saying "How Are We Supposed To Defeat That Thing And Save Lunar!?" and pointed at the smoke monster, then all the sudden a shadow flies overhead making everyone except Pigsy look up at the source as they saw someone jumping on the building roofs.

Mei squinted her eyes while saying "Is that-" and Mk says "Monkey King?" and this made Gold narrowed her eyes and mutters "There's no way that's him" and realized she was right as the person is not Monkey King, but someone else.

On A Rooftop

A dark furred monkey landed on the rooftop while holding a glowing purple staff as he looks at the monster, he was about to attack the monster until he noticed Lunar in the monster's grasp. He needed to hurry and save the girl, then he started twirling his staff and summoned a shadow like wind at the monster, and once it vanished into smoke it let go of Lunar and she started falling.

"Aaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!" Lunar started screaming while falling and the Krew and Aphmau saw this and screamed in horror "LUNAR!!!!" and Lunar braced for impact but then she felt someone catching her bridal style and opens her eyes and saw a black monkey as he has a feathered red marking across golden eyes and bushy black eyebrows, the black furred monkey landed back on the roof and asked "Hey, you alright?".

He gently placed Lunar down, she looks at her savior and couldn't help but blush a little at him, she had to admit he's very handsome.



"Y-Yeah... I-I'm okay" Lunar answered as the two started into each other's eyes, her purple galaxy eyes staring into his golden eyes and before Lunar could say something she heard Mk's voice "Yes!" and the two turned and saw Mk, Funneh, Gold and Aphmau climbing up as the girls managed to get up while Mk says "Monkey King!" and tries to get up too but falls off the building. "Mk!" Aphmau and Lunar both shouted and ran towards the spot where he was to make sure he was alright while Funneh's eyes widen and Gold sighs and mutters "Idiot" and the black furred monkey was about to leave until Mk reappears in front of him. "That was awesome! I can't thank you enough for saving Lunar!" Mk says until he got a good look at the monkey man. "Ooh... This is awkward. You're not Monkey King" and this made the black furred monkey laugh a little.

"I get that a lot. Monkie Kid, right? And those girls are your friends Aphmau, Funneh, Gold and Lunar. Part of a little group called 'The Krew' right?" He asked and this made Mk, Funneh, Lunar, Gold and Aphmau's eyes widen in surprise as Mk was about to asked "How did you-" and this made the monkey man chuckle and says while pointing at the staff "Your staff kind of gives you away, dude. Not just anyone can wield that thing. And you just told me your friends names too" and this made Gold raised an eyebrow before she cleared her throat before asking with her arms crossed "Um, okay... But, uh, who are you?" as she felt something off about this guy.

The black furred monkey stands up and introduced himself. "Macaque. Actually, the uh... Six-Eared Macaque is, you know, my full name. Well, see ya around Mk, girls" and the black furred monkey known as Macaque started to walk away. "Uh! Can you teach me that awesome thing?!" Mk exclaimed with excitement as he ran in front of Macaque. "Uh, don't you already have a master? I thought Monkey King was training you" Macaque says and then Mk starts to say "Ah, yeah, yeah, no, he-he is-owowow!!!" and then starts yelping in pain as Gold grabbed him by his ear with slight glare as this made Macaque blink in surprise and then Gold looks Macaque and says "Will you excuse us?" and walks away with Mk as Funneh sighs and says "Same old Gold. Sometimes I feel like there are sometimes when she acts like a mom to Mk" and both Lunar and Aphmau nodded while Macaque looked at them.

Soon Gold lets go of Mk's ear and Mk looks at her and asked "Gold, why did you do that?" and Gold says "Mk, I'm not really sure about this. I really don't trust that guy" and Mk looks at her and says "Come on Gold! This is my chance to do something great and to prove everyone I'm capable!" and this made Gold frown and said "Mk, you're the Monkie Kid. You don't need to prove yourself to anyone and you're great just how you are" but before he could say anything Macaque cuts in the conversation by saying "But you can never have too many teachers, right? I'm sure Monkey King would agree. It's not like he would want to hold you back" and Gold looks at him and slightly glares at him before muttering 'Hold him back he says' and then Mk says "Um... Yeah! Yes, he totally would be cool with it" and then Macaque says while placing a hand on Mk's shoulder "Heh. Alright then" and then leads Mk away from Gold and then she noticed that Macaque touches Mk's back saw that the monkey symbol changes from sweet to sinister on his jacket.

Gold narrowed her eyes and thought to herself 'Okay, there's something wrong with that guy and I don't trust him. I need to keep my guard up' and then Macaque looks at the girls and asked "Oh yeah. Girls, do you wanna train too? I can help train with your weapon of choice and help you learn to use other weapons too" and when Gold says no while Aphmau, Lunar and Funneh hesitated for a moment before saying "Yeah/Sure/Okay" and this made Gold snapped her head at them and said "What!?" and Macaque says "Alright. But before we leave..." and a small portal appeared next to him, his hand went through the portal and his hand ended up in Lunar's room. He grabbed an object that he had left behind as a present for Lunar a while ago, but she didn't seem to notice. He grabbed the object and pulled his hand back and says "Here ya go, cutie" and handed her a necklace with a purple crystal in the middle.



"Wow, it's beautiful!" Lunar says as she inspects the necklace in awe, Funneh and Aphmau looked at the necklace in awe too and Gold didn't want to admit it but it was a pretty necklace. "Wanna put it on?" Macaque asked Lunar, she nods and moves her hair to the side as this made Macaque stare at her neck.

He wanted to leave a mark on her skin, but controlled his urges and goes up to her, puts the necklace around and clipped it together and says "It looks good on you" and Lunar turns around and smiles at him and says "Thanks" as she and the others didn't noticed a dark glow in the purple crystal. "Now, let's get down to the others before they start worrying" Gold says as she and the others went to the ladder and while climbing down Gold looks at Funneh and quickly whispered to her "Funneh, I need you and Aph keep an eye on Mk and Lunar just in case, especially Macaque" and Funneh looked confused before nodding.

The Next Day at Macaque's Dojo

Aphmau, Lunar and Funneh were all sitting down on a bench watching Macaque and Mk sparing each other and then they winced when Mk got tossed like a ragdoll into a set of spears and javelins. "Wow, Macaque is very different than Monkey King when it comes to teaching things" Aphmau whispered to Funneh who nods and whispered back "But, then again Macaque is teaching Mk how to actually fight, so there are some bounds with teaching styles between the two".

Macaque pointed his staff at Mk who looks up at him as Macaque says "Not bad" and Aphmau noticed how he sounded almost disappointed, making her frown a little as Macaque adds "Don't get me wrong, but I was kind of expecting a little more from someone with your power" as this made the three girls frowned. "Hey! Hey, I've got more! I can give way more than that!" Mk says and then sighs and adds "I can do better" and Macaque says "Okay. Maybe show me next time" and then walks up to the girls and says "Alright then, which one of you girls wants to spar me, first?" and the girls looked at each other before Aphmau stands up and says "I guess I'll go first" and gets up as she's wearing a reddish leotard, with a black garment that covers her collar, has a small diamond-shaped opening above her chest, she wears a fingerless glove on her left arm, and around her waist is a black belt and has burgundy and black leggings.



"Alright then, now let's see what you got Aphmau" Macaque says as Aphmau gets a bo staff and both get into position.

Aphmau was having a little trouble at first but was not giving up easily and for some reason she felt a her fighting spirit take over her as she and Macaque began to engage attacks and blocks as the others watch, when Macaque managed to get rid of her staff he grinned thinking he got her, but then Aphmau charged at him and just when Macaque could strike her Aphmau ducks down and gets into position and without looking back she lifted her left leg sending a spear flying up, she looks at it before doing a spin-jump and kicks the spear towards Macaque as he quickly moved as the spear stabbed the ground.

Funneh and Lunar were shocked and in awe by this as they looked at Aphmau and they started clapping and cheering for her while Mk had his mouth agape with a blush on his face, Macaque stared at the spear for a moment before letting out a chuckle and says "Not bad girly. You know for a rookie like you when it comes to staff fighting, you handled it well" and Aphmau gave a small smirk and says "Funneh, your turn" and Funneh nods as she gets up and she's wearing a black long sleeve shirt, light blue short hoodie and dark blue/grey training pants.



"So, you like using swords Funneh?" Macaque asked and Funneh nods while saying "Yeah, swords are kinda my thing" and he nods while asking "You must have a teacher then, right?" and Funneh nods proudly and says "Yeah! He's probably one of the best weapon fighters I've ever met. Well, to be honest he's my only weapon teacher" and let out a chuckle and gets into position along with Macaque as he brought out a sword and then Funneh asked with a smirk "Are you good with any sword, yourself?" and Macaque smirked back as he says "I've had a few experiences" and Funneh grinned and asked "Have you?" and the two get into stances before they began sword fighting.

Lunar, Aphmau and Mk cheered for Funneh and once Macaque got his sword back and says "Impressive, whoever's your mentor they must've have experience with swords and other weapons as well" and Funneh nods while saying "Yeah, Vulko is an really awesome and cool teacher. He's the best since he's the only weapon trainer I have" as she didn't noticed that Macaque stared at her after saying Vulko but he shook it off, looks at Lunar and then says "Alright cutie, you're turn" and Lunar nods while getting up as she's wearing a purple sleeveless tangzhuang with gold lining and black pants.



He gives her a bo staff and then says "Alright, let's do a few rounds to see what you got Lotus" as this made Lunar blush a little at the nickname and snapping out of it and gets into position along with Macaque.

The first round while they gave each other tips Lunar managed to win the first round as Aphmau and Mk clapped while Funneh gave her a thumbs up with a smile, the second round Macaque and Lunar went a little faster and with more force as Macaque managed to flip Lunar over making him win that round, Lunar quickly gets up and lays an attack on Macaque but he blocked it as Lunar was in position while Macaque was ready for her to make a move then Lunar let out a small yell before she and Macaque exchange fast attacks and blocks again as Lunar was adding force and quickness and using an opportunity Lunar drops to the ground, grabs one of Macaque's leg and brings him down as he let out a small yelp and she pointed the bo staff at him as they both breathe heavily.

"Heh. Nice moves" Macaque says with a flirty smirk, making Lunar raised an eyebrow with slight blush on her face as she says "Right back at ya" and then walks away and then Mk excitedly went up to her and exclaims "Lunar, That Was Amazing! You've Gotta Teach Me That!" and this made Lunar let out a small chuckle before saying "Yeah... No" and Mk started pouting while giving her the puppy eyes and says "Aw, come on Lunar! Please?" and Lunar giggled a little as she said "Still not gonna work Mk! Just go train with Macaque" and for a while Macaque and Mk continued fighting with their staff, Aphmau and Funneh were both sparring each other with their swords and while Lunar was practicing using her staff and was fighting the dummies.

She was sweating non-stop but kept going and when she was catching her breath she felt a hand on her shoulder. "Alright Lotus, that's enough of the staff fighting. Let's have you try using your fists" Macaque says as he handed her some hand wraps and some weight for her wrist, Macaque wrapped Lunar's hands and puts on the weights on her wrist as he leads her to a punching bag. "Now, in this type of training the enemy got rid of your staff and you have nothing to use to fight, so your only option is using physical strength. So, I want you to practice using your fists and legs" Macaque says as he went behind the punching bag to hold it steady. At first, Lunar had a little hard time lifting her hands due to the weights, but that didn't stop her from trying as she punched the bag with all her might over and over again, Funneh and Aphmau saw this and smiled knowing Lunar was doing great but remembered Gold's word as they kept watching while sparring, then Macaque told Lunar to try kicking next and she lifted her legs and started kicking.

A training montage sequence begins as it showed Macaque training Mk, Funneh, Aphmau and Lunar "Stop holding back. Stop trying to be nice. Your first strike should be your last strike. Every time you attack, give it everything you've got. Other people are going to tell you to be patient".

Back at Flower Fruit Mountain

Mk is back at the Shuilian Cave hammering the stubborn wall "Patience and focus! Step into the strike!" Monkey King called out as Gold noticed something about Mk and narrowed her eyes to see that his eyes held frustration and was starting to get concerned for him. "They are slowing you down. You have power inside you. Use it. Take the power and destroy! Remember, you don't use a weapon! You are a weapon!" Mk remembered Macaque's words and then his eyes glowed purple, picks up his staff and throws the staff and destroys the wall in a blast of purple smoke. Gold's eyes widen as her mouth was agape as she was shocked while Monkey King dropped a peach chip as he was in front of the wall, shocked to see it.

"Whoa! How'd you learn to do that?" Monkey King asked and then gasped half offended and shock as he flew down and stopped in front of Mk who's eyes were shadowed as Monkey King cried out "Have you been running around with other mentors?!" and then Mk turns around and says in a slight hollow and emotionless voice "Patience and focus. Isn't that what you said?" as this made Monkey King and Gold's eyes widen at his sudden change. "Look, kid. Using that much power, your body can't handle it" Monkey King said to Mk but he replied back "You just don't like that there's someone who's actually teaching me what I need to know!" and was about to leave until Gold blocked his path with her arms crossed and had a glare on her face and says "Okay Mk, I don't like that attitude of yours and I don't know where that came from! But you have to stop, Wukong is only trying to help you! You can't put too much pressure on yourself, otherwise you can hurt yourself or others!".

But Mk ignores her and walked past her causing Gold to say "Don't you walk away from me while I'm talking to you, Mk!" and Mk replied back "Oh really 'Mom' or what are you going to do send me to my room?" and Gold looked slightly stunned by this before replying "I wish I could" and then Mk turns around and shouted back "Well you can't because you're not my Mom and you're not the others Mom!" and Gold looked at Mk confused before saying "I never said I was" and then Mk snapped "No, but you certainly act like it! You think it's your job to boss everyone around but it's not! You're just a regular girl like the rest of us, so stop acting like you can tell me what to do! I can do whatever I want!".

And then he starts walking away before adding "Oh, do us a favor Gold and stop acting like a mom... Because You're Not My Mom AND YOU NEVER WILL BE!!!" as this left Gold shocked by his outburst and felt hurt while Monkey King looked stunned by what his successor said to Gold, then he looks at Gold worried and noticed she was trying not to cry until she couldn't hold it and Gold dropped on her knees and started crying softly, he gently hugs her while holding her close to him and then noticed something on Mk's jacket as it changed into something sinister, making Monkey King frown at this and didn't know that Gold also saw this.

"I knew it. Mk training with him was a bad idea..." Gold mutters and hoped Monkey King didn't heard her, but unfortunately he did. "Training with who?" he asked making Gold's eyes widen before quickly saying "N-Nothing! It's nothing Wukong" and looks away from him and this made Monkey King frown before saying "Peaches..." and cupped Gold's cheek making her look at him as he had a stern look and asked "Who's teaching bud that move?" and Gold blinked at him before sighing and looked away and says "Mk... He's been training with... someone.... He calls himself the Six-eared Macaque" and turns her attention at Monkey King who had a shocked expression. "... You know him, do you?" Gold asked and while Monkey King only nodded and then Gold mutters "Oh my god" and stands up and pulls out her phone and called someone and waited until it answered.

"Hello?"

"Hey Aph, listen I need you to do me a favor real quick. It's about Mk"

Meanwhile at Mk's Apartment

A knock was heard and Mk opens it and was surprised to Aphmau. "Oh, hey Aph what are you-" Mk started to ask until he was cut off. "Mk, we need to talk now!" Aphmau said with a serious tone, surprising Mk and lets her in, Aphmau noticed he looked very busted up and can see some bruises making her heart ache at this and then Mk asked "What do you want to talk about it?" and Aphmau looks at him with seriousness and concern and starts to say "Mk, I. . ." and then took a deep breath and let it out before saying "I need to talk to you about Macaque. This might sound crazy, but I think you should stop training with him".

This surprised Mk as he asked "What? Why?" and Aphmau what says next make Mk frown "Well, ever since you've been training with Macaque... You've been acting different. You seem more aggravated and you've been pushing us away even me, Funneh and Lunar for a while now and from what Gold told me is that you've been acting different around Monkey King too. So, I think you should stop training with him for your own safety Mk. Please?".

Mk blinked before he looks down at the ground with a glare and both him and Aphmau were unaware that the monkey symbol on Mk's back was glowing dark purple "I see what this is all about" and Aphmau smiled a little thinking he'd understand and starts to say with a sigh of relief "Oh, that's good to hear. I'd knew you under-".

"That the fact is that you don't want me to train!"

Aphmau's eyes widen in shock at his sudden assumption as she said "What?" and Mk looks at her and says "Aph, you know that I need this training more than anything. I need to get stronger so I can defeat DBK and save the world" and Aphmau frowned a little and says "I'm not saying you shouldn't get stronger, but-" and Aphmau got cut off again by Mk exclaiming "But, you're trying to hold me back just like Gold! I'm the Monkie Kid, Aphmau! I'm not gonna let you or anyone stop me from becoming stronger just because your jealous and afraid to get left behind while I become something!" and this made Aphmau glare at him and started getting frustrated and stands up from the chair she saw sitting on.

"Left behind? Left Behind!? For your information Mk, I'm just trying to look out for you because I'm starting to get worried and you're my friend! That's What Friends Do And Are For Mk! Why Is It All The Sudden YOU DON'T WANT YOUR OWN FRIENDS TO LOOK OUT FOR YOU!?" Aphmau yells getting angry and then Mk yelled back "WELL, MAYBE I WOULD BE BETTER OFF WITHOUT FRIENDS LIKE YOU!!!".

Aphmau was shocked by his outburst and what he said as her eyes widen in shock and slightly gasped while taking a step back, she felt her eyes watering and looks down, Mk's eyes widen by what he just did and regretted what he did as he tried to apologize. "A-Aph, I-I didn't mean-" but was cut off by Aphmau raising her hand telling him to stop as she looks at him with a slight glare and tears coming down.



"Fine... You want to keep training with Macaque. Go ahead, I'm not stopping you... And I honestly don't care if you get hurt in the process. But don't say I didn't warn you Mk" Aphmau says as her voice cracked and sounded hollow and walks away as Mk looked like he was ready to break down as he watched his friend/crush opened the door and slammed it while leaving, Mk sat down on his bed and placed his hands on his face with some tears coming down as he muttered "What have I done...". Once Aphmau was outside she immediately started running while heading towards her apartment and while running on the sidewalk some people saw her as she was running with tears coming down as they were wondering why she looked upset for.



Aphmau knew Mk didn't mean it and she also knew that inside her heart she didn't mean to say that to him, she just felt hurt and couldn't be there and she left. She made it to her apartment and opens the door, closed it before ran towards her room and lays on her bed and cried softly.

Meanwhile Back at Macaque's Dojo

After Mk trained and left along with Funneh and Aphmau, leaving both Macaque and Lunar alone. So, Macaque started training Lunar as her progress is growing greatly, she's can lift her arms easily thanks to the weights as she now can land powerful punches and kicks, Macaque was impressed on how much she improved.

"Alright, that's enough" Macaque said and Lunar stopped as she sat down on the mat and Macaque handed her a bottle of water. "You, Funneh, Aphmau and Mk have been improving greatly for the last few days. It's a shame both Aphmau and Funneh left already, I wanted to tell that they've been doing well" Macaque says and then Lunar says "Well, we do have a great mentor to thank" as she chugged the water.

"Well, I'm flattered" Macaque said with a hint of redness on his cheeks and then asked "Tell me something Lotus, how long have you had that mark on your arm for?" and this made Lunar look at him confused and asked "My mark?" and looks at her arm and saw a mark with three purple crystals in it.

"Huh? I never noticed I had a mark" Lunar said and then there was silence between the two before Lunar gets up from the floor mat and starts to say while heading towards the door "Well, I better get going. I need to get ready for....for-" but didn't get to finish her sentence as she was about to reach the door handle until her eyes turned lifeless. "Hehehe. I don't think so Lotus" Macaque says and walks up to her and pulls her close to him as he let out a chuckle and cups her cheek while rubbing his thumb on it and says "Once I get rid of both Monkey King and Mk, you'll be all mine~" and then Lunar's eyes closed and Macaque kisses her on the cheek and adds "Not even your sisters, brother or friend will stop me from having you all to myself~".

Later that Day

Mk and Funneh both returned to Macaque's Dojo as Funneh watches Mk practicing his staff and noticed the sinister monkey symbol on Mk's jacket glowed purple just like Gold had told her about as Funneh keeps her guard up and luckily Macaque doesn't know she's acting like nothing is suspicious.

Mk bents down while panting heavily as sweat fall to the ground from his forehead and Funneh goes up to him and asked "You alright, Mk?" and before he could reply Macaque comes up to them and placed a hand on Mk's shoulder and says "You're ready" and both Funneh and Mk looked at him as Mk was trying to catch his breath and asked "Ready for what?" and Macaque says "I found out where it lives".

Somewhere at a Mountain

The smoke monster is standing on top of the mountain as Macaque leads both Mk and Funneh to the mountain as it looked like an abandoned battlefield.

Macaque and Funneh both had made it to the top while Mk was a little behind as Macaque says "The smoke monster is actually an ancient demon. A very, very powerful one. We need to destroy it once and for all! Come on!" and then pushes Mk forward as he managed to get up and this action surprised Funneh. "Wait, what? Last time, I couldn't even hit it" Mk says and Funneh nods while adding "Yeah, and last time me and my siblings managed to hit it. But it didn't do much like as if it had no effect at all" and then Macaque says "Totally. But since then, you've had me teaching you and your friends, You're all stronger now! Don't you feel stronger?" and Mk said "I guess".

Then Funneh looked around while asking "But wait, where's Lunar and Aphmau? I didn't see them at all today" and Funneh noticed Mk's face turned into guilt after Aphmau was mentioned and while Macaque's face turned grim and says "I don't know where Aphmau is. But that's other thing, the smoke monster actually has her in its grasp" and pointed at the demon's clawed hand and there both Funneh and Mk saw an unconscious Lunar. "Lunar!" both Mk and Funneh exclaimed as they were worried for their friend/sister and then Macaque says "If you want to save her, it needs to be now! Before she becomes the demon's bride" and both Funneh and Mk looked at him with a shocked expression on their faces before they nodded. "Remember, you're the weapon! Give it everything you've got!" Macaque says and pushed Mk forward and before Funneh could walk up too Macaque stopped her.

"Shouldn't I help him?" Funneh asked and Macaque only says "You wait, this is Mk's fight" and Funneh nods before looking ahead, Mk took a deep breath before saying "Here...comes...Monkie Kid" while spinning his staff and then launched himself into the sky while Funneh watched with hope in her eyes and slightly prayed Mk will win and unknown to her Macaque had his arms crossed with an evil grin, the smoke monster looks up as Mk uses the staff and lunges toward the smoke monster with a yell. "I Am The Weapon!" Mk shouted as the sinister monkey symbol glows purple again, Mk lets out a yell again as Funneh's eyes slightly widen thinking he's gonna actually land a hit on it. But then, all the sudden something happens that shocks Funneh the smoke monster shrinks itself and in front of Mk was... Macaque as he was holding Lunar in one arm, Mk was in a state of shock and Macaque then punches Mk in the stomach and all of his powers were taken and the monkey logo on Mk's jacket turned back to normal and Mk falls to the ground.

"MK!!!" Funneh exclaimed in horror and runs towards him as she gives Macaque a deadly glare and saw the other Macaque floated down and placed Lunar by a boulder while in his hand is a stone covered in gold energy indicating it's Monkey King's powers.

"You know, you really are a good kid" the second Macaque says while he patted Mk's head and disappears into a shadow on the ground while Funneh holds Mk close while Macaque adds "It's super nice..." and the smoke monster appeared again, Macaque holds the stone before absorbing it within himself making him powerful and then the shockwave blew both Mk and Funneh towards the mountain with the staff launches towards Mk pinning him to the mountain while Funneh hits her head on the mountain making her go unconscious.

"Funneh!!" Mk exclaimed seeing his friend unconscious and Macaque landed down with his eyes glowing purple and then says "Thank you... For giving me all of Monkey King's power" and Mk tried to move, but couldn't and Macaque asked Mk mockingly "Huh? Oh, no~ Can't you hold the magic staff anymore?" and then adds "Well, you know what that means. There really isn't anything special about you" and then Macaque zooms towards Mk and pushed the staff harder against the poor boy and says "You're just some kid with a heavy stick. You don't even have the power to even save your little precious friends and you even hurt two of them!".

'He's right...' Mk thought to himself and glanced at his two unconscious friends and then got a flashback of how he yelled at both Gold and Aphmau, hurting their feelings 'I'm so sorry girls' and looks down. "ENOUGH!" a voice roared as Macaque was suddenly pushed away from Mk and glared to see who it was, Monkey King landed down as he created a crater under him and crossed his arms. "Monkey King!" Mk exclaimed happily relieved to see his mentor, Monkey King side-glanced at Mk and looked angry, making Mk sweatdrop and then noticed Funneh and Lunar were both unconscious and looked concerned. "Monkey King! It's good to see you, bud!" Macaque says sarcastically. "Are you ever going to get sick of living in my shadow? It's time to give back what you stole!" Monkey King said while Macaque's eyebrow twitched. "You are such a gem. It's going to be so satisfying, killing you with your own powers and taking the reincarnation of Lena" Macaque says and then he and Monkey King charged at each other and locked hands before exchanging punches that sended them flying away, before they came back attacking with their clones as Macaque uses his shadow clones and while Monkey King pulled some of his hair, blowed on them and created his clones.

Meanwhile Back with Mk and Funneh

Funneh groans as she started to regain conscious and rubs her head a little and then saw Mk trapped to the wall from his staff. "Mk!" Funneh says and Mk looks at her and was relieved to see his friend had regained back conscious and exclaims "Funneh, you're okay!".

She nods while slowly getting up and stumbles back a bit and she would've fell back down if someone hadn't catched her as they asked "Need a little help?" and Mk snapped his head and saw both Aphmau and Gold as they caught Funneh before she fell.

"Gold! Aphmau! You two came for us!" Mk exclaimed happily to see his two friends, Gold nods while quickly running up to him and says "Don't worry we're gonna you free!" and grabs Mk's staff and starts pulling it trying to free Mk while he pushes forward, Gold grunts in frustration and says "It won't budge!" and both Aphmau and Funneh saw this and quickly ran towards Gold, Aphmau looks around and saw a warrior's sword close to Gold and shouts "Gold, t-that sword! Use the sword!" and Gold saw it, quickly grabs it and starts using it trying to move the staff enough for Mk to get free as Aphmau helps her while Funneh quickly ran to Lunar, grabs her and went back to the others.

Back with the Two Monkeys

After the clones destroyed each other, Macaque lands down on the ground with Monkey King chasing after him as they transformed into various animals while they kept attacking each other.

After getting pushed off by Macaque Monkey King charged at him and goes to punch him only to see a wide eyed 'Gold' in front of him looking at Monkey King in fear and shock, making his eyes widen and hesitates, then she smirked with glowing purple eyes and moves back then a shadow clone punched Monkey King in the guts before 'Gold' came up and punched him in the stomach hard, sending him crashing into multiple walls. Monkey King grunts and groans and unknown to him a shadow clone was behind him and when he tried leaping off the shadow clone grabs him pulling him down and tries holding him back while Monkey King tried to get free until more shadow clones appeared and piled up on him, Monkey King looks up and growls while using his Golden Eyes of Truth to glare at a cackling 'Gold' who transformed back to Macaque.

"Seriously, you fell for that? You really care about Gold, huh?" Macaque said with a grin and then turned his attention to see Mk struggling to break free while Gold and Funneh were tugging the staff and sees Aphmau holding Lunar as she watches in worry.

Gold pulls the sword harder along with Funneh using her strength trying to help but then they both stumbled back a little as Gold dropped the sword and then Mk yells "Girls, Watch Out!!!" and before they could asked what Mk meant until Funneh gets punched from the back by a shadow clone causing her to crash onto the ground with a grunt.

"Funneh!!" Gold exclaimed until she gets round-house kicked in the chest sending Gold to crash into a boulder as let out a yell in pain as she holds her arm. "No!!!" both Aphmau and Mk exclaimed and Aphmau quickly but gently places Lunar by a wall and was about to help Funneh and Gold until a third shadow clone sneaks up behind her and punches her sending flying a little before she slides down on the ground as she groans in pain. "Aph!!!" Mk cried out. Macaque let out a laugh before saying "Sorry, guys. Nothing personal!" and conjures the smoke monster and prepares to finish off Mk.

Aphmau, Funneh and Gold looked up and saw it as they all said in shock "Oh My God..." and while Mk let out a fear-filled scream, Monkey King heard Mk scream and says "Kid!" and struggles again and then a burst of gold comes out and breaks free from the shadows and quickly runs then jumped on his cloud and zoomed towards the group, Macaque laughs evilly before letting out a yell and aiming his fist towards Mk. Aphmau saw this and shouted "No! STOP!!!" and quickly gets up and ran towards Mk as he, Gold and Funneh screamed "Aphmau!!" but she ignored them and gets in front of Mk before letting out a yell and moved her hands in front of her, her eyes glowed white and then a symbol of the Faith of Lady Irene appeared in front of her blocking Macaque's fist.



"If You Want To Hurt Mk, Then You're Gonna Have To Get Through Me First!"

Aphmau grunts while using all her might to try and hold back the giant fist with her shield, Macaque looked shocked by the shield as he recognized the symbol but then grins and says "Alright then. Let's see what you got girly!" and put a little more force as the shield started cracking as Aphmau saw this with her eyes widen and then closes her eyes shut while letting out a yell and at that moment she felt herself getting pushed away and landed on the ground as she heard her shield break.

She looks up and saw Monkey King was now holding the fist and exclaims "Monkey King!" as she looked up in relief, he turns around and gave her a small smile before looking back and continued holding the fist and then Macaque shouted "COME ON! Show Me The Real Sun Wukong! The Old You Would Have Leveled This Whole Mountain Range To Stop Me! But You're Scared Of Hurting Some Kid And A Couple Of Girls?! PATHETIC!" as he put more force. Seeing his mentor in trouble, Mk struggles to break free from the staff as he says "Come on, staff!" and then gives up as he said "I can't, I'm not strong enough" and then Funneh shouts "Don't You Dare Give Up That Easily, Mk!" and then Aphmau shouts "Funneh's right! You can't give up now! It is not our abilities that show what we truly are... It is our choices!" and then Gold says "You can do it Mk! We believe in you!" and then Monkey King shouts "They're right kid! We're definitely going to have words later, but it's time for the hero stuff!" and then Macaque pushed down harder, making the ground under Monkey King cracked as he was struggling.

"Wukong!" Gold cried out and Mk uses his strength to lift the staff and managed to pull it out as he started to regain his powers back and then remembered Monkey King's words.

"Patience... Focus... STEP INTO THE STRIKE!" Monkey King, Mk, Funneh, Gold and Aphmau all chorused as Mk hurls the staff as it spins up on the smoke monster heading towards Macaque, blasting him away. Mk catches his staff after it came back to him and then the smoke monster explodes as Monkey King quickly runs towards Mk and Gold and grabs them shielding them while Funneh quickly grabs Lunar and runs up to them while Aphmau conjured up a shield protecting the others from the explosion. Once everything cleared up, Monkey King lets go of both Mk and Gold while Aphmau makes the shield disappear as the sky lighting up from the coming sunrise, Funneh looks at Lunar and saw she was still unconscious. "Lunar? Lunar, wake up!" Funneh said shaking her a little but she didn't respond, making Mk, Gold, Aphmau and Funneh all worried and then Monkey King took off the necklace from Lunar and destroyed it.

"Hey, why did you destroy it?" Mk asked and Monkey King says "Because that necklace was actually trying to take over her mind. If I didn't destroy it, then she would've been under his complete control" and this shocked both Aphmau and Funneh while Gold looked furious and looks away while muttering "If I ever see that guy again I'm gonna kill him!" and then Monkey King sighs and says "You did it, bud. You remembered what I told you" as Gold detected the underlying hint of disappointment in his voice.

"I'm sorry" Mk apologized causing the girls to frown a little. "Oh! Oh, you totally should be! I can't believe you two-timed me on your training!" Monkey King said as he looked ticked off, Gold quickly goes up to him and says "Wukong, please calm down" and surprisingly he did calm down a little before giving Mk a stern look on his face. "I just wanted to be good enough. Like you" Mk said while looking down as this surprised Monkey King and the girls. Monkey King sighs and rubbed the back of his neck, then sat down next to Mk and put his arm on Mk's shoulder and says "Hey, your heart's in the right place, kid. We can work on the rest" and then Gold sat down on the other side of Monkey King as he wrapped his tail around her waist.

"So, you'll keep training me?" Mk asked and then Monkey King says "Of course, bud. I've got something special in mind" and then grinned as he leaned on Gold with his head on her shoulder as Gold blushed and both Funneh and Aphmau saw this and smirked and was about to say something until they heard a groan and they all looked at Funneh's arms to see Lunar starting to wake up.

"W-What happened?" Lunar asked and then Aphmau, Funneh, Gold and Mk all exclaimed in relief "Lunar!" as Funneh and Gold both hugged her while Lunar rubs her head and starts to say "What happened? I remembered I was training with Macaque, but then everything went back and that's all I can remember" and Monkey King went up to her and says "Take it easy, okay Lunar?" and Lunar looks at him surprised and asked "Are you Monkey King?" and he smiles and says "Yep" and Lunar smiles while saying "Well, it's nice to meet you" and then Funneh says while helping Lunar up "Come on Lunar. Let's go home" and she nods as Lunar and Funneh started walking and both Aphmau and Gold were about to follow them until Mk called them.

"Aph! Gold, wait!"

They looked at him as Mk had a guilty face while holding his arm and then sighs before saying "Girls, I wanted to say that I'm sorry for snapping at you girls like that. And I know I can't take it back, but will you accept my apology?" and Gold smiled softly at him and says "Don't worry Mk, you didn't know and I accept your apology" and Mk looks at Aphmau hoping she would accept his apology and was getting nervous as Aphmau stares at him, then she smiles and hugs him, surprising Mk as he quickly hugs back and then Aphmau gave Mk a kiss on the cheek and says "Don't worry Mk. I accept your apology" and then walks off catching up with Funneh, Lunar and Gold while Mk's face was bright red with his mouth agape before letting out a dreamily sigh and falls back with a goofy smile and hearts appeared around him as he giggled. Monkey King looked at him before letting out a chuckle while shaking his head and says "You fell for her hard, didn't you?".

Later on Flower Fruit Mountain

Mk does chores back at Monkey King's home and Monkey King watches him while laying on his cloud as Mk says "This is totally going to be one of those 'do the boring, hard chore thing', but secretly, it's 'learn the awesome kung fu secret', right?" and Monkey King stiffs a little before saying with a small sweatdrop "Uh, sure".
