Narrator's POV on Flower Fruit Mountain

"Maybe under here?" Mk said as he grunts when he didn't find what he was looking for, he was throwing around pieces of clothing and looking in every nook and cranny in Monkey King's hut as both Sandy and Draco were helping him look around while both Mei and Gold were sitting on the wooden couch and Mei looked over next to her and saw a VR headset. She picked it up before putting it on as Mk lifted up one of the couch's legs, making both Mei and Gold slide to the other side while Gold was looking at something on her computer she brought with her and Fi-Fi ( A/n: the same phoenix from the chapter Revenge of the Spider Queen Pt.3 ) is sitting on Gold's shoulder while looking at her computer curiously.

"Ugh, there's gotta be something.."

"Remind me what it is we're looking for?" Sandy said while looking through a chest and Draco was looking through another one until he found something, pulled it out and was surprised to see it was a fashion magazine with Gold on the front cover.



'How come Monkey King has one of Gold's fashion magazines?' Draco thought to himself ( A/n: Gold is not only a hero and YouTuber in the story, but she's also a fashion magazine model ) and then realization came to him as he had a grin on his face before looking at Gold.



Draco quickly took out his phone and took a picture while Sandy found a yellow cube with red stars on each side, and perked up as he held it in his hand and asked "Is this it?" making Mk teleport over to him, teleports the object into his hand before looking at it and then throws it at the wall shattering it in frustration. "I'm trying to find something that will make me super, super powerful, so I can defeat-" Mk started to say until he paused as he got flashbacks about the incident in Spider Queen's lair, making both Gold and Draco look over at him confused and concerned for their friend when he paused until Mk snapped out of it and said "S-Someone. Anyone! Y'know, to be sure I got what it takes to take on the next big bad!" and at the end stood determined, making Draco blink at this while Gold looked dumbfounded before saying "Not really convinced... But I'll let this one slide" and Sandy asked "I thought Monkey King was training you with remote lessons?" while Mei grabbed a controller and started playing a game.

"Yeah, and I already learned all the different lessons the Monkey King of vacations left for me" Mk said while Sandy took a spot on the couch, startling both Mei and Gold as Mk fiddled with his staff, making it change in size before making it tiny as the staff disappeared into his ear as Mk continued speaking "I don't know, I just, I feel like I'm ready for something bigger. More powerful".

Gold looks at him and smiles a little knowing his heart was in the right place and before she could say anything Fi-Fi flew over to her and placed down a scroll in her lap as he chirped and getting curious, Gold moved her computer to the side, opened the scroll and was surprised to see it was about firebending techniques and forms.



Sandy then hold up a scroll, pulled out his reading glasses and starts reading "A wise warrior leads their enemy into their own destruction. What's that mean?" and then asked while Gold was still looking at the firebending scroll, Mei playing the video game and Draco was looking on his phone and Mk said "It means that I need to be stronger! Be so powerful that it'll be certain to defeat anybody who fights me!" and then Draco came in the conversation as he said "I'm pretty sure that's not what that means Mk" and Gold nods in agreement as she replied while still reading the firebending scroll "Draco's right, it means you need to beat someone at their own game. Draco and I should know because Big Mama taught us when we were younger, since she's our mentor" and then Sandy said "Maybe you need a break, little man. Just kick back for a bit" and Mk looked at him and asked "Uh, did Monkey King ever take breaks?!" and this both Gold and Draco look at him deadpanned expressions and said in unison "Mk... You do realize that Monkey King/Wukong literally took a 500 year break after DBK's imprisonment".

"They're right! He's literally on vacation right now! Plus, he has logged some serious hours on this game" Mei said, directing everyone to the game logo on the TV. "What?" Mk asked as he looked at the screen. "Uh huh, like ten thousand" Mei said.

"Ten Thousand?!" Gold and Draco both exclaimed and then Mk put his hand on his chin, narrowing his eyes as he said "No way Monkey King would've wasted time on this" and this made both Draco and Gold replied "Uh, yeah he would" and then Mk gasped as he exclaimed "Unless... Yes! THIS MUST BE IT!" and grabbed the headset and controller off Mei, making her glare at him and exclaimed "Hey, Mk!" and then Mk said "You said it before Mei, Monkey King isn't going to give me the answers straight" and this made Mei, Draco and Gold said in unison"I/She said that?" and Mk looked at the headset as he said "He must've left me this game for a reason. It has to contain the knowledge to some unbelievably powerful new ability!" and Mei looked at the game cover and said "Or, it's just a cruddy old video game Monkey King likes because his face is on the box" making both Draco and Gold nodded in agreement while they also looked at the game cover too. "Woah, this is amazing. It looks just like Monkey King's house" Mk says and this made Mei, Draco and Gold look at him deadpanned and then Mei said boredly "That's because I haven't turned it on yet" and pressed the button on the side of the headset, turning it on.

Meanwhile with Funneh



In a beautiful valley Funneh was sitting on a cliff while looking down as she had tears coming down her face.



She couldn't stop thinking about what LBD said to her as her words went through her head.

'Along with them being afraid of you. Just a piece of the game you cannot possibly comprehend... Bloodbender'

Funneh snapped out of her thoughts while shaking her head as she continued looking down and thought to herself 'It can't be true... I would never hurt my friends or family' and then she got startled when someone spoke from behind her.

"Funneh?"

Funneh looks over her shoulder and sees Ao Bing standing there with a concerned look on his face.

"Oh... Hey Ao Bing" Funneh said before looking back at the scenery and Ao Bing walks up to her and asked "Can I sit here?" and Funneh only gave a nod before Ao Bing sat down next to her and it was silent for a moment. "What are you doing here, Ao Bing?" Funneh asked breaking the silence and Ao Bing looks at her and said "I actually came to see you" and this made Funneh look at him and raised an eyebrow as she asked "Why?" and Ao Bing says "Well, I noticed you've been acting strange recently and I wanted to see if you were alright" and Funneh sighs and replied "Well... I'm fine" and Ao Bing looked at her before saying "I know you're lying Funneh. You know you can tell me anything" and Funneh looked at him before replying sarcastically "Oh yeah, sure. What do you want to know that I've been doubting myself lately and that I feel like I'm not good enough to protect my friends and family and that the only thing I'll ever give them is pain?!" and then sighs while looking down as Funneh felt like there were more tears as they were threatening to fall down.

Ao Bing looks at her stunned by what she said before getting concerned as he gently cupped Funneh's cheek, making her look at him as he said "That's not true Funneh" and Funneh looked away from him and "You don't know that Ao Bing... Just face it... I'm not good enough and I never will be... I'll just hurt the people who I care about".

"Shut up"

Funneh looked surprised before looking at Ao Bing dumbfounded as she asked "Wait, what?" and Ao Bing said as he sounded serious, but gentle too "Just shut up, you're talking crazy. Just listen to me. You're too good to feel this bad about yourself. I know that, and you should know that" as he stands up while making Funneh also stand up too as he said "You have true courage and a big heart. I've seen you get knocked down so many times before, and every single time, you get up again. That's real strength. And... and you're ten times funnier than any human I know" and this made Funneh wipes her tears away as she laughed a little. "See? See, you know you're amazing. You're smart, and fast, and beautiful" Ao Bing said as he gently grabbed both Funneh's hands and looked at her as she looked back at him before smiling softly and then Ao Bing said "Funneh, you're the most amazing person I've ever met".

Funneh smiled at him and hugs Ao Bing, making him smile softly and hugs her back. After they broke off the hug and then Ao Bing says "Come on, I wanna show you something" and just before they could even take a step they heard a loud crack and that's when they realized something was very wrong as the ground beneath them was collapsing. "Uh, Ao Bing?" Funneh started to say but the ground gave away and they plummet into the huge lake underneath them as they screamed.

Soon Ao Bing comes ashore, coughing and Funneh noticed him when she was looking for him as she managed to get out first and was relieved that he was okay as she starts to say while rushing to him as he breathes in and out "Ao Bing? You're alright. I was so worried–" but then Ao Bing cuts her off with a slight smirk and asked teasingly "So worried?" and Funneh tried to act cool with a slight blush on her face as she said "Yeah right. Get over yourself, dragon prince" and then walks off a bit before squeezing the water out of her hair as she adds while looking back at him "There has to be a better way to avoid falling off a cliff, right?" and Ao Bing looks at her and says "Trust me, there is no good way to avoid falling off a cliff" and this made Funneh giggled as she and Ao Bing both quickly dried themselves before they started walking down a path together by the lake.

Ao Bing:🎶I never had this feeling before, she gives me shakes and shivers I can't ignore🎶

🎶And I see that there's more now than just running free🎶

Ao Bing saw a beautiful white flower floating down as he caught it gently and placed the flower in Funneh's hair, who smiled softly at him.

Funneh:🎶I never felt my heart beat so fast🎶

They continued walking on as they stared at the forest's beauty in amazement and in awe.

🎶I'm thinking of him first and of my self last, and how happy I want him to be🎶

Ao Bing:🎶It's amazing, someone in my life, just might be loving me🎶

🎶I didn't know that I could feel this way🎶

Funneh:🎶It's so crazy, something in my life is better than a dream🎶

🎶I didn't know that I could feel this way🎶

Ao Bing:🎶She makes me warm and happy inside🎶

Funneh:🎶He smiles, and I get dizzy and starry-eyed🎶

Ao Bing and Funneh:🎶All these feelings I have, have me asking🎶

Both Funneh and Ao Bing sat down as they stared at the lake, they looked at each other before glancing away with shy smiles on their faces.

Funneh:🎶Can this be love?🎶

Ao Bing:🎶Can this be love?🎶

Funneh and Ao Bing gently placed their feet in the water as they saw some fishes swimming by as they watched with smiles.

Funneh:🎶It's crazy🎶

Ao Bing and Funneh:🎶I can hardly speak, wherever she/he says "Hi"🎶

Ao Bing smiled at the fishes before looking at Funneh, who was smiling at him.

Funneh:🎶I didn't know that I could feel🎶

Ao Bing:🎶I never dreamed that I could feel🎶

Funneh then gets a grin and then splashes water at Ao Bing, who was shocked for a moment before grinning back and then the two started laughing while splashing each other, having fun.

Ao Bing and Funneh:🎶I didn't know that I could feel this…🎶

Funneh slips and was about to fall as Ao Bing quickly caught her as they stared at each other's eyes for a moment and without even thinking it Ao Bing kissed Funneh on the lips again, but after he does his eyes widened at just what he just did and moved back with Funneh looking at him surprised.

Ao Bing and Funneh:🎶Way~🎶

Funneh smiled at him softly before she also gave Ao Bing a peck on the lips without thinking too as he blushed a little at this, the two smiled before leaning their heads against each other's while holding each other close with their eyes closed.

Possibly nothing could ruin their little romantic moment...

Funneh and Ao Bing snapped their eyes open when they heard Funneh's phone ringing, she quickly pulled out her phone and saw it Gold calling. "Hello?" Funneh answered and Gold says through the phone "Hey Funneh! Uh, sorry to interrupt your alone time but... Can you, uh, bring some tools and some wood planks please?".

Funneh blinks.



"What?"

Back at Flower Fruit Mountain

Funneh, Draco, Gold, Mk, Mei and Sandy finished hammering the last planks of wood that Funneh brought to the wall and there were oblivious still holes where the light from outside came through.

"And I think that should about do it!" Draco said proudly and Gold looks at the wall, sweatdrops and says while Fi-Fi was on her left shoulder "Yeah but there's still holes in the wall" and then Funneh placed her hand on her older sister's right shoulder and said "Yeah, but we can always deal with that another, Gold" and Sandy looks at Mk and asked "So did you learn what you needed to?" and then Mk replied "Yeah! That and then some!" before jumping in the middle of the room and poses as he said "You were right Sandy! Sometimes the strongest move isn't always the bestest" while he lifted one of his legs up into the air before hopping backwards and jumped onto the wooden couch, sighing. "It's the bestest at blowing holes through your stuff though!" Sandy said as he, Mei, Draco and Funneh gestures the wall before everyone all started laughing about what Sandy said.
