Narrator's POV

The team is rolling along in the desert. The heat is intense and Sandy has the AC on full blast, but the heat wasn't ceasing and Aphmau, Ally, Funneh, Draco and Lunar are laying on the floor sweating non-stop while both Gold and Spider Queen were fanning themselves as they were sweating too.

"Pooteetah..." Kirby whimpers as he snuggled against Aphmau's neck as he was hot and while Ender whined from the heat as he laid down next to Funneh, who patted his head in comfort. "Here you go, Lotus" Macaque said as he placed a cold towel on Lunar's forehead. "Ah... Thank you Macaque" Lunar thanked him while Syntax comes over with a couple of water bottles and says "Here guys, you all need some water" while he handed them each a water bottle. "It was fortunate Gold managed to pack a lot of water bottles for the trip" Macaque comment and Gold looks at him and says while fanning herself "Well you're always going to have to be prepared on wherever you go next" and then Draco groans before exclaiming while standing up "It's too hot in here!!" and took off both his jacket and shirt, revealing his abs.



Mei noticed this and immediately blushed at the site of her boyfriend's muscular body as this is the first time she's seeing him without his shirt on.



Macaque whistled and said "Been working out, dragon?" and Draco looked at him and replied "I guess, yeah.." and then that's when he heard the sound of a camera and turned around and saw that it was Mei that took the picture and blushed while Macaque snickered and said "Looks like your girlfriend likes what she sees~" and this made Draco blushed bright red and glared at Macaque, who was laughing while Ao Bing rolled his eyes at this. "Are we sure we're going in the right direction?" Sandy asked while looking through the front view mirror and saw the blue lighting in the background before he readjusted the mirror to see how everyone in the back was doing. "Not a clue. All Monkey King said to do was head west, so-" Tang starts to say while Mei went towards the front and then grabs the map as she exclaimed "How did anyone ever get anywhere using these?!" and then Syntax said "Let me see it" and took the map from Mei and while Syntax was looking at the map Monkey King asked while meditating "Yo, blue thing, want to crank up that AC, brother?" and Gold looks at him and says "Sorry, Wukong, but the AC is at its highest set".

"According to the map, we'll be out of this desert in 10 more miles" Syntax said. "Really?!" Everyone exclaimed and Syntax nodded as he replied back "Yes. So, we just need to hang on a little longer" and this made Tang sigh in relief as he said "Oh, thank goodness" and Ally nodded in agreement while drinking her water bottle and then grabs a small bowl, poured some water in it and Ender immediately went over and started drinking it while Kirby went over to Ally and started drinking the water from a straw that Ally just placed in.

"At least someone is being useful unlike a certain monkey that we know" Pigsy said as they all looked at Monkey King, who was pretending to be asleep. "C'mon you guys, Monkey King needs to recharge after his fight with Nezha. He is in no state to waste his time on mere mortals. Especially now that I don't have my powers" Mk said.

"Whoa, he told you that?/Wait, he actually said that?" Pigsy and Lunar both asked and this made Funneh get worried as she hoped that Nezha was okay. "We have a very honest relationship, guys. Besides, that kind of Mystic Monkey meditation requires complete focus, apparently" Mk said and they saw Monkey King scratching his leg. "More like dumping his responsibilities on everyone else as usual" Macaque mumbled and this made Pigsy facepalm, Mei and Gold both sigh, Ally and Lunar had a dotted expression, Draco and Funneh both deadpanned at this, Ao Bing looks at him in disbelief while Spider Queen simply rolled her eyes in annoyance while still fanning herself. "Hey Rainbow as much as I'm gonna regret saying this, but... Can you lighten the mood by telling your jokes?" Gold asked and then suddenly Rainbow said "Did someone fart?" and everyone except Sandy, Tang and Monkey King looked at her as some were looking at her weirdly before Funneh said "Why.. Why would you say that?" and then Rainbow says "'Cause it's smellin' cheesey in here" before holding up a cheese hat that looked like a cookie.

Macaque snickered a bit along with Syntax while Ally giggled before Funneh lifted her head up a bit and said "I'm so sad that's not a cookie hat, it literally looks like a cookie when we bought that for you Rainbow" and the Krew nodded in agreement. "Come on, gang, don't be so glum! We'll roll down that window. Lil' fresh air never hurt-" Sandy started to say while rolling down the window, but since it was so hot that the air can catch anything on fire and Sandy sadly didn't see that coming as he and Mo scream as flames fly in through the window while Sandy exclaimed "That's so much worse!" and he quickly rolls the window back up and Mo quickly stamps out the fire from Sandy's hair. "Papa Sandy! Are you okay?!" Ally asked in concern as she handed him a towel to clean his face. "I'm alright sweetie. I need to make sure not to roll down the window again until we're out of the desert" Sandy said and this made Ally giggle nervously as she said "Definitely!".

"Kid, you know there's more to you than just your powers, right?" Pigsy said hoping that Mk would understand what he was saying. "Exactly. I've accepted until I get my staff back, I'm not gonna be the strong one anymore, which is why I'm gonna be... the smart one!" Mk said.



And for some reason Funneh blinked before she busted out laughing and everyone stared at him in disbelief.

"Excuse me?"

"Oh, Mk"

"Seriously, kid?" Macaque said as he pinched between his eyebrows. "Think the heat got to them?" Syntax asked while gesturing the still laughing Funneh and Huntsman, Strong Spider, Aphmau and Spider Queen all nodded. Rainbow then started to wonder how the spider demons weren't burning up, since they were wearing all black. Rainbow got up and handed Syntax a cold towel, but he pushed it away as he said "I'm fine, Rainbow" and Rainbow gave him a look, not convinced and touched his forehead. It was hot!

Rainbow raised an eyebrow and placed the towel on his head, anyways as she said "You're fine huh?" and Syntax was shocked, before looking away as he said with a slight blush "T-Thanks".

Suddenly T.E.A. stopped moving and everyone looked at the thermometer as it showed a picture of the engine has overheated meaning the engine is out of commission, making everyone groan while Gold gasped and quickly got out of the van and opened the engine compartment as smoke was coming out and she said "The radiator!" and quickly gets a container of coolant from inside the van and pours it on the engine before taking off her jacket and tears the sleeve and placed it on the engine before sizzling was heard, making Gold inhale sharply as she said "Hot, hot, hot!" before she continued looking at the engine along with Sandy while the others checked out the desert as Mei, Pigsy, Tang, Huntsman, Syntax and Aphmau all took off their jackets. Macaque removed the top part of his clothes while Ao Bing also did the same thing only as it showed his black sleeveless turtleneck shirt and like before people could clearly see his abs.

Lunar and Funneh's face both turned red, seeing Macaque's upper torso exposed/Ao Bing's abs.

"What's wrong, Lotus? Are you embarrassed to see my muscles?" Macaque teased Lunar, who looked away with her face still red. "N-No..." Lunar stammered. "Then why's your face red?" Macaque asked with a grin. "It's the heat" Lunar said still looking away from Macaque. "Will you quit teasing her? You can clearly see she doesn't like it" Syntax said as he was wearing a tank top and a pair of shorts. Mk comes out from the van and places Monkey King down by a tree for shade and then Mei asked "So, how is meditating going to help him recharge or whatever he's doing?" and Mk replied "I don't know. He's a little sketchy on the details" as he recalls what Monkey King said before he went into meditation.

Flashback

Monkey King was meditating as Mk was trying to get into the position correctly as Monkey King says "Sometimes to find what we lost, we need to begin where we started. Look within ourselves. So I'm gonna do just that and go into some deep meditation. Wake me up some time in the next uh, I don't know, hundred years. 'Kay? Bye!" before he enters his transcendental meditation.

"Wait, what?!" Mk exclaimed.

Flashback Ends

Mk pokes Monkey King while Mei snaps photos of him and then Ally goes to Funneh and asks as she sounded tired and dehydrated "Funneh, can I have some more water?" and Funneh said "Okay, but we've got to try to conserve it" and then she waterbends three small blobs of water out of her pouch and into the mouths of Draco, Ally and Ender. Draco circulates the water in his mouth before swallowing it before asking while pointing at his mouth "We're drinking your bending water?" and he tries to define the taste of the water while smacking his lips. Disgustedly, he exclaims "You got this from that snowy mountain that had dirt everywhere! Ugh!" and then Ally said "It does taste ice dirty" and Ender lets out a sad whine in protest of the water's flavor, after also smacking his lips.

Funneh sadly puts the cork back on her water sack as she said in a sad tone "I'm sorry, it's all we have" and then Draco says while looking forward "Not anymore! Look!" and Funneh looks in the direction Draco's pointing, he walks over to the cactus and cuts off a piece with his dragon sword and Draco happily drinks the fluid that's inside while Ender ran over to him. "Draco, wait! You shouldn't be eating strange plants!" Funneh exclaimed in worry as she and Ally both ran over toward Draco as he and Ender were quenching their thirst with plenty of cactus juice. Draco cuts open another part of the cactus, excitedly offering its content to a skeptic looking Funneh as he said "There's water trapped inside these!" and Funneh backed away from Draco and the cactus as she said "I don't know... I may be silly at times, but not like this".

"Suit yourself. It's very thirst-quenching, though" Draco said while cactus juice drips off his chin and then gives Funneh a big smile like a true salesman.

Suddenly Draco's left eye pupil dilates rapidly as he tries to shake off the feeling by rapidly shaking his head and then he starts to trip while saying in a strange echoing voice "Drink cactus juice. It'll quench ya! Nothing's quenchier. It's the quenchiest!" and he crawls over the ground as a caterpillar before jumping back to the front, pushing his face toward the camera with a big smile. Funneh gives Draco a very uncomfortable look before saying "Okay, I think you've had enough" while she grabs his cactus juice and pours it down on the sand. "Who lit Ally on fire?" Draco asked as Ally looked at him with dot eyes, questionably.



Funneh was about to say something about Draco's comment, but then was distracted by a sound as she looks down to see Ender running around in circles, increasing his speed, before plummeting into the ground, head first. Funneh picks up and cradles the unconscious dog and then Ally asks "Can I get some of that cactus?".

Funneh wrapped her arm around Ally's shoulders and said "I don't think that's a good idea" and that's when Ally realized something as she said "Is it just me or is it awfully quiet?" and Funneh just realized this as she knew that they were never quiet unless they're sleeping or eating. "Hey, there's a big old castle over there" Draco pointed out and this made the Krew, Ao Bing, Macaque, Ally, Syntax, Strong Spider, Huntsman, Aphmau and Spider Queen looked up and saw a junkyard.

'Why is there a junkyard in the desert?' Funneh thought to herself. "I have a feeling that the kid and the gang are there somewhere and why do I have the urge to beat up someone?" Macaque asked and then Ao Bing said "It seems you're not the only one who felt it Sixed-Eared Macaque".

"Come on, we better follow them" Funneh said as she leads Ally away with the rest of the group following after them while Draco stays behind, staring blankly at the sky and Funneh retraces her steps and pulls Draco along by his arms and then he asks in awe "How did we get out here in the middle of the ocean?" and this made Funneh sigh as she muttered "I'm surrounded by idiots.." and then Macaque opened his shadow portal to travel instead of walking through the heat.

Meanwhile at the Junkyard

Mk had lost Mei's dragon sword, the deed to Pigsy's Noodles including everything that the group owned and now Monkey King was part of the fish demon's collection. 'Aaaaaaahhhhh!!! Why do I keep losing?! Oh man, the Krew are literally gonna kill me if they find out Pigsy is no longer the owner of the shop they grew up in!' Mk thought to himself as he was panicking.

"What's going on?" Mk heard Spider Queen's voice as he and everyone else turned around and saw a shadow portal on the ground and came through it was the Krew, Macaque, Ao Bing, Aphmau and the spider goons. "Why is most of everyone's stuff by the fish demon? Macaque asked as he raised an eyebrow and he noticed Monkey king is part of the stuff Mk better on, when he explained about what happened so far and then Macaque started laughing hard as he said "Ahahahahahahahaha!! You made Wukong part of the bet?! Now that's comedy gold!" and this made Ao Bing cough out a laugh and while Macaque was still laughing the fish demon eyed on both Kirby, who was on Aphmau's shoulder and the egg Lunar was holding as it was wrapped in a small yellow blanket.

"Tell me something girls. What's this little creature and that egg?" the fish demon asked as he tried to see them closely, making Kirby squeaked and hid Aphmau's hair while Lunar held the egg close to her as she kicked the demon fish away from them. "Don't even think about it" Aphmau said as she and Lunar both glared at him. 'What should I do now? I literally bet everything that everyone had. All that's left is Lunar's egg, Lady Irene's scroll and...' Mk then thought of what to bet next.

"Wait, I do have one last thing I could wager" Mk said and shakily held up the map to the Rings of Samadhi, making everyone gasped in horror. "Mk, don't be crazy!" Tang shouted. "I agree with the scholar, didn't it take about everything Wukong had in order to get that map?" Macaque asked.

"I bet... the power of friendship!" Mk said, making everyone gave him a dumbfounded look. "What?!" everyone exclaimed and Mk grabs the group and tosses them in the pile. "Mk! Have you lost your mind?!" Aphmau exclaimed and then Ally shouts "Yeah! Are you insane?!" and the fish demon was about to reject the offer, but Mk told him that there's nothing more valuable than friendship and he even told him that the Krew and Aphmau were the descendants of Lady Irene herself and the Mighty Five. Lunar and Funneh both literally had to hold Gold back while making sure she doesn't lose her temper. Mk told the fish demon that there's no way he was gonna lose if his friends were at stake.

The fish demon agreed and said there's nothing wrong with having a servant or more and then he placed Monty the turtle on the table and covered him with a bowl and started moving them around.

Mk was trying his hardest to concentrate when suddenly he got his gold vision back and now, he knows what to do. "So, where... is... Monty?" the fish demon asked after he finished moving the bowls around. "The one in the middle!" Mk said with confidence. "Oh, so sad, too bad, but you could-" the fish demon starts to say until he gasps when he sees Monty. "What? Impossible! How did you-".

"It's simple, really. You were fooling us the whole time but I, Monkie Kid, delivery boy, somewhat equal to Heaven, saw right through your trick!" Mk said as he pointed under the table while he put his hand under the contraption in the table, making everyone gasped. "You rigged this table so that no matter what plate Monty was under, he would drop out from under it just as your contestant made their choice, which makes you a cheater!" Mk said before an enraged Pigsy, Mei and Tang immediately appeared before the fish demon. He started backing away slowly, but then was blocked by an angry Macaque, Spider Queen, Huntsman, Syntax, Strong Spider, Ally, Ao Bing, the Krew except Draco and a very angry Aphmau, who had a deadly aura surrounding her.



"There are a lot of things I hate, but what I hate the most is... Cheaters!!" Aphmau said in a dark tone, making the fish demon shrink from fright.

"Now, now, now, listen. Uh, we can make a deal! Friends?" the fish demon says nervously and Mei laughs menacingly before saying in a dangerous tone and a grin "We'll make a deal, alright".

Once they got everything back, Mk saw both Lunar and Funneh whispering something to both Macaque and Ao Bing. Once they were done, both Ao Bing and Macaque looked at the fish demon with a smirk/wicked grin as they cracked their knuckles. 'Better start running' everyone thought as they rushed out of the junkyard with Gold carrying the still hallucinated Draco and heard screams.

Soon Funneh made it to the van first as she ran ahead from the group and then she suddenly tripped over something from behind, making her yelp. She falls down and hit her back against the passenger seat that Tang was sitting on and then a letter falls down and landed right next to her as Funneh noticed this. "Huh?" Funneh looked confused as she picked it up and noticed that it looked a couple of years old and started reading it.

Later

Funneh kicked the van door wide open, eyes shadowed with tears running down, clenching her teeth while growling and the paper in her hand as she was clenching her fist tightly. She stomped over to the gang as they noticed her coming over.

"Hey, Funneh. What's-"

SLAP!!!

Tang didn't get the chance to finish speaking as Funneh slapped the life out of Tang, knocking his glasses out in the process as everyone was shocked as they froze and the Krew all exclaimed in shock "Funneh!!" and Tang looked at Funneh with his eyes widened while his cheek turned red.

"Funneh, what the-"

"Why..." a dark tone from Funneh asked as this shocked everyone, since they had never heard Funneh spoke in a dark tone before. "Why... Why... Why Did You Hide This From Us?!" Funneh screamed in anger while throwing the paper at Pigsy, who caught it. Pigsy quickly read it and his eyes widened. She knew... She found out everything.

"W-What do you-"

"You Lied To Me! To Us!! WHY DID YOU HIDE THE TRUTH ABOUT OUR PARENTS?!!" Funneh cried from anger. "Funneh... W-What do you mean?" Rainbow asked in confusion. "You s-said you didn't know why our p-parents left us... You never m-mentioned anything about a l-letter explaining e-everything..." Funneh said as she was shaking.

Tang, Pigsy and Sandy froze as they knew what she meant while the Krew were shocked by this as they looked at their uncles. "I-Is this true...?" Lunar's voice cracked while everyone else was shocked as well. "You found out.." Pigsy said, making Funneh snapped her head towards him.

"You knew... YOU THREE KNEW THIS ENTIRE TIME AND DIDN'T SAY SOMETHING!! WHY?! WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY ANYTHING?!" Funneh screamed in rage. "...We didn't know how to tell you..." Tang said as a flashback came to him.

Flashback

The baby Krew was playing in a baby pen while Tang was talking to Pigsy about the letter that he found in the box.

"After I showed Pigsy the letter that I found in the box, we decided to wait until you were all old enough to enough. So I waited..."

Scene changes to the gang and Krew all happily eating noodles together after defeating DBK when Mk became Monkey King's successor and Tang smiled softly at his nieces and nephew as they were chatting and laughing with both Mei and Mk before pulling out the old letter from his pocket, he frowned and looked at them before he put the letter back in his pocket and continued eating his noodles.

"I knew Funneh didn't like talking about them and I didn't want to ruin your happiness... So I decided not to say anything until I thought you were ready to know..."

Tang looked back at the Krew and smiled at them.

Flashback Ends

Tang finished telling the story as he had his eyes closed while looking down while everyone was stunned and shocked by this. "I knew if I told you and the Krew, you all would shut down. As much as I wanted to tell you all... I-I couldn't. I'm so sorry Funneh... I hope you could-" Tang starts to say while reaching out to Funneh, but she slapped his hand away and glared at him. "I wish my parents were here instead of you!" Funneh spat out with venom in her voice, making Tang's eyes filled with tears.

Funneh then started walking away from the group and then Mk rushed over to her and grabbed her by the shoulder and started to say while trying to calm her down "Funneh, that was too far. Look, I know you're upset but you didn't have to-".

But Funneh couldn't hear him as she heard muffles and then suddenly something snapped...

"SHUT UP!!" Funneh yelled before turning around and raised her hand, then suddenly Mk writhes in pain as he screamed while Funneh bloodbend him from the ground and into the air as if she was in a trance blind rage. "Mk/Kid/Monkey boy!!!" everyone screamed in shock and horror by this and then suddenly when hearing Mk screaming in pain made Funneh snapped out of her trance before she stopped, making Mk fall to the ground in the process. "Kid!!" Monkey King exclaimed as he quickly ran to him and helped him up while whimpering in pain from Funneh's sudden action.

Funneh's eyes widened as they were filled with fear and horror as she realized what she had just done before she remembered what LBD told her.



"Just a piece of the game you cannot possibly comprehend... Bloodbender"

"I-I-I...I-" Funneh covered her mouth as she slowly started backing away from everyone while her blue aura started glowing and glitching for some reason. "Funneh. Calm down. It was an accident. Calm do-" but Ao Bing was cut off when Funneh's aura created a small blast of wind, making Ao Bing step back with his eyes widen and while Funneh looked at Pigsy, Tang and Sandy with teary eyes and a betrayed look. "I'm sorry... I can't... I just need to be alone..." Funneh said before shooting up into the air. "FUNNEH!!" everyone yelled while Ally stared up in the air before tears started to form in her eyes along with Aphmau and Gold. Ao Bing also stares at the sky before looking down with his eyes shadowed and while Tang covered his mouth as he fell to his knees, crying.

"It'sallmyfaultIt'sallmyfaultIt'sallmyfault!" he cried.

"Tang! It's not your fault. Whatever happened in the past was just an unfortunate accident" Pigsy said as he patted Tang's shoulder. "But did you hear what she said? She said she wished her parents were here instead of me... She saw me... I...I can't believe I lost one of my nieces" Tang cried. Nobody said anything as they all stood in silence before Lunar went to Tang and hugged him tightly along with the rest of the Krew and then Ender went over and whined as he wanted Funneh.

Ally starts crying and then is pulled into a hug by Aphmau as she is silently crying, Ao Bing looked away as a single tear came down and suddenly Lunar felt movement in her bag and opens it and noticed that the egg was moving. "Guys, the egg's moving!" Lunar said and everyone gathered around just in time for the egg to hatch and then a purplish black colored snake with a white face and light purple underbelly comes out as its eyes are purple, has cat like ears, a tongue like that of a snake and also has a teal ball at the end of its tail.



"Whoa..." everyone said in awe and Mei pulled out her phone and took a picture. "A snake-shifter" Lunar mutters and then the snake-shifter looks at Lunar before floating towards her and snuggled against Lunar's cheek, making her giggle a little before saying "I'm gonna call you Stringbean".

Meanwhile Somewhere Else

Funneh landed somewhere in a forest as it was raining as she started running while she couldn't stop crying, but continued running without a care until she stopped at the edge of a cliff and Funneh had so many emotions flowing through her. She was hurt, confused and felt betrayed that she let out a loud agony scream that can be heard for miles.

Funneh continued sobbing before calming down for a moment as she wiped away her tears and says to herself "What am I supposed to do?" and then suddenly she put a little pressure on her left foot, making Funneh slip as she gasped and tried to grab the edge but since it was slippery she couldn't. Funneh screamed before falling down to a mini forest of dead trees as she got herself caught all tangled up in a bunch of vines, she groans and tried to free herself. "No! Not now!!" Funneh exclaimed to herself and tried moving forward, but unknown to her one of the vines was attached to a rock and when Funneh pulled forward a little more with force the rock was flunged and hit her at the back of head, making her gasped from the pain as a ringing sound was heard and while her vision was a little bit blurry, Funneh managed to see that someone was coming towards her before darkness took over.
