Narrator's POV

Attacks come in as the group hears growling and smashing from outside. Tang, Pigsy, Vee, Draco, Gold, Aphmau, Kirby and Mo cowered in the T.E.A. with Macaque and Ao Bing were both looking around in defensive positions while Monkey King was still meditating. "We're all gonna die. We're all gonna die! The two of us aren't built for the action stuff, Pigsy. We're sidekicks at best and you know it!" Tang shouts and then Ao Bing goes over to Monkey King's meditating state. "Macaque! Help me wake up, Wukong!" Ao Bing said as he and Macaque began trying to wake up Monkey King.

Ao Bing slapped his face a couple of times and Macaque also tried slapping him. When the slapping didn't work, they tried yelling in his ears before Macaque, Ao Bing and Draco all pulled out pots and pans as they started banging them together and then Gold pulled out an airhorn and pressed it as he didn't flinch and even tried pouring ice water on him. 'Geez! Why is this fool so hard to wake up?!' Draco thought to himself and Vee thought the same thing as she shouts "How Is He Not Waking Up From The Noises?!".

Aphmau then exclaims "What are we gonna do?!" as she held both Kirby, Mo and Vee close to her. "Okay, I have an idea. I've been saving this for a special occasion. Everyone, I present the Chaos Ultra Ghost Pepper of Doom! It's so hot, you'll get third-degree burns just from looking at it" Pigsy said as he pulls out a very spicy pepper from his pocket, making the others look horrified from this except Macaque and Ao Bing.

"Uh, are you sure you should be keeping that in your pocket?" Tang asked nervously and then Gold exclaims asking "Where on earth did you get that and why is it in your pocket?!" and Pigsy replied "Even I can't say Gold. Well, if anything's going to wake up Monkey King, it'll be this. Incoming!" and then Pigsy charges forward and shoves the pepper into Monkey King's mouth and his eyes glowed golden as he wakes up in the middle of meditation with the last vision of his companions.

"Stand back, Master! Sun Wukong will handle this demon!" Monkey King says. 'Oh no...' both Macaque and Ao Bing thought to themselves as they turned pale. Monkey King then kicks open the hinges and hops out, looking around for the beast. "Hmm, guess I must have scared it off" Monkey King said and while unknown to him, from above the demon backs off. "Master, it's safe to come out now. You too, Piglet. And you as well Mother" Monkey King said. "Master" Tang said with stars in his eyes. "Piglet?!" Pigsy said in full anger. "Mother?" Aphmau said in confusion while Draco, Gold, Kirby and Vee were shocked.

"Ugh, fine. Zhu Bajie, better?" Monkey King says while Macaque carefully stepped out of the van hoping to not gain any attention, especially from Monkey King. "Pooteetah? Pooteetah?" Kirby sputtered while looking at Macaque, making him go stiff resulting everyone especially Monkey King to know he's here. "Mac!" Monkey King rushes towards him and gives him a tight hug.



'Why are his hugs always so tight?!' Macaque thought as he tried to free himself. "Mac! I'm so happy to see you!" Monkey King said before releasing Macaque from the death hug. "What are you doing here? You're usually by yourself or with Lena! Did Mom finally get you to join in on this adventure?" Monkey King asked, before noticing Ao Bing in the group and then asked in confusion "Ao Bing?! What are you doing here? I thought you were coddling up with your father, did Katara invite you over too?" and that's when he noticed Aphmau, making Monkey King gasp before he exclaimed happily "Momma!" and rushed over and hugs her while his tail was wagging. "Uhm.. Hey, honey" Aphmau said trying to play along. "I don't get to see you as much anymore! You're always either in the Celestial Realm or hanging out with your friends! Not that I mind at all, but still they need to learn to back off once a while" Monkey King said, making everyone raise an eyebrow.

"Uh, Monkey– Uh, Sun Wukong? Who exactly do you think we are?" Tang asked in confusion as everyone except for both Macaque and Ao Bing were confused. "What kind of question is that, Master?" Monkey King asked before gasping as he stopped hugging Aphmau and then grabbed Tang's shoulders and shook him as he said "Unless, Master, you've lost your memory! You have to remember who you are!" and this made Pigsy, Gold, Draco and Vee, who is holding Kirby chuckle at this site while Ao Bing stares at this in disbelief.

Monkey King points at Pigsy as he says "That's Zhu Bajie, the Celestial Swine!" before gesturing Mo as he said "This is Sha Wujing of the Flowing Sands River!" and then he went between Draco and Gold while saying "These two are Lola, the Sun-fire Goddess and Della, the Dragon Princess of the Tianlong Mountains. Also Della you can remove your boy's disguise outfit" and this made Draco stare at him in disbelief while Monkey King goes over to Aphmau and says "This is Lady Irene! The Goddess of Peace; also me and Macaque's Mom".

"Wait, what?!" and then Monkey King says "And you are the Great Monk Tang Sanzang! We're on a journey to deliver sacred texts to the West! I'm your loyal companion, bound to keep you safe from demons who know if they eat you, they'll become immortal! You! Have! To! Remember!" as he shook Tang like a rag doll before Tang said, sounding woozy "Okay, okay, I remember" and then Vee couldn't handle it anymore as she started laughing "Hahaha!!" and giggles as well. "Hm?" Monkey King turned around and saw Vee and Kirby and then he gasped before holding up his 'staff' which was a stick and says "Demons! Don't worry master, I'll protect you!" and this made Vee let out a small shriek and just before Monkey King could do anything someone got in front of her as they said "Wukong, you shouldn't scare my apprentice like that" and everyone was dumbfounded except for Monkey King and Gold as it revealed to be a girl who looks exactly like Draco.



"Huh? Wait, since when did you get an apprentice, Della?" Monkey King asked in confusion while eyeing Vee, who only stared at him. Wanting to change the subject, Macaque said "Uh... Wukong, why don't you look for your staff?" and Monkey King replied "Good idea, Mac!" and then he went off looking for his staff. "Huh?! Draco, is that you?!" Pigsy, Tang, Macaque, Vee, Aphmau and Ao Bing looked at Draco in shock and disbelief that their nephew/friend just transformed into a girl. "Well, actually this is Draca. She is the female version of Draco, but sometimes whenever we need to go undercover for missions or a disguise she pops in" Gold calmly said as if this isn't even shocking to her. "When did that happen?" Vee asked in shock while Gold simply replied "It's a long story that involves Lunar's potions accident".

Then Draco or Draca says "Okay, but can someone explain to me why Monkey King is acting like this?!" and then Macaque starts explaining as he said "Because of the Chaos Ghost Pepper, Wukong thinks we're thousands of years in the past meaning this is when he was on the journey with his companions to the West and based on how he mentioned Lady Irene's name meaning she also joined him on the journey, including the Mighty Five" and then they see Monkey King coming back with a stick thinking it's his staff.

"So this is just the amnesia rules, right? So we bonk him on his dumb head and boom! Back to normal" Pigsy said. "What'd you say, Piglet?" Monkey King asked with a glare. "Piglet?! Oh, that's it!" Pigsy said as he and Monkey King glared at each other down. "Master, just say the word, and this little piggy will be a steamed ham!" Monkey King said and while Tang was trying to calm them down both Aphmau and Vee noticed something as it was about to grab Tang and both shouted "Tang, Watch Out!!" and they quickly rushed towards him and pushed him out of the way just in time for themselves to get grabbed by a tail as it drags them away while their screams echoed and in the process Vee dropped Kirby.

"Girls/No/Pooteetah!!" Ao Bing, Macaque, Kirby, Draca and Gold exclaimed. "The demon! It took our goddess and the girl!!" Monkey King said. "We gotta do something!" Pigsy said and Monkey King says "Exactly! Let's go! Girls, you two stay here!" as he puts the stick behind his back, picks up Mo, gives Gold a quick kiss on the cheek, grabs Ao Bing's arm and then grabs Pigsy with his tail and takes off with Macaque, following after them while Kirby was on his shoulder, leaving a blushing Gold behind and Draca looks at her boyself's sister in amusement.

Meanwhile with Aphmau and Vee

The two were sleeping peacefully until Vee felt something rubbing her head, making her purr a little until she and Aphmau slowly started waking up and saw a pretty woman as she has dark green hair with long side burns and pointed twin buns, she also has a long green ponytail that has two golden hairbands wrapped around it, making it look similar to a scorpion tail and she wears pink lipstick and a large amount of purple eye shadow.



"There, there, sweet little ones" she said.

Both Vee and Aphmau blinked before Aphmau asked with hesitation in her voice "Uh... A-Are you a Demon?" and the woman was a bit taken back.

"What? No! I'm not, I'm... clearly a beautiful queen" she said and both Aphmau and Vee gave her a look before nodding as Vee says "Right..." and the woman noticed this and says "Oh, you two are still afraid? Don't be. I saved you both from the hideous scorpion demon and brought you to my castle" and then Aphmau says "Right, to a lovely scorpion-themed castle..." and this makes the woman chuckle nervously before saying "Ahem! You two must be very hungry, right? I have plenty of food for you two to eat" and this made both Aphmau and Vee look forward and saw tons of food on a table, along with pretty ladies beside it.



Vee and Aphmau both nearly drooled before quickly wiping their mouths. "I guess one bite wouldn't hurt.." Vee says before blushing in embarrassment when she heard her stomach growling and then she started eating along with Aphmau, who looks at the woman as she says "Just don't go getting ideas, Miss" and the woman asked "Whatever do you mean" before she laughs evilly.

Back with the Others

Pigsy, Ao Bing, Macaque, Mo and Kirby were all watching Monkey King scour the lands. "What does this have to do with getting Vee and Ap.. Lady Irene back?" Pigsy asked getting agitated, but Monkey King didn't answer (A/n: They can't say Aphmau since Monkey King won't know who that is. So they had to call Aphmau 'Lady Irene' or for Macaque is 'Mom') and then Pigsy asked "Is this the same sort of garbage you tell Mk instead of talking to him straight?".

"Mk, huh?" Monkey King looked at Pigsy with a confused look. "Of course you don't remember the kid. One day, you are gonna grow up to be a terrible mentor!" Pigsy shouted and this made Monkey King laugh before saying "Ha! Zhu Bajie, can you imagine me teaching someone? Ha!" and laughs again as this made Macaque, Ao Bing and Tang sweatdrop as they thought of one thing.

'You have no idea'

"What about Lady Irene? Didn't you train her?" Pigsy asked.

"Mom? Oh, no. She trained us and is a highly capable warrior. Why do you think we're attached to her? She practically raised me and Macaque as her own and also trained us" Monkey King said.

Macaque felt tears well up in his eyes, but quickly wiped them away, but it didn't go unnoticed by Ao Bing and Monkey King, who went to him and wiped away Macaque's tears. "You always were the crier around Mom. Don't worry Mac, we'll find her. I promise" Monkey King said softly with a smile and then Ao Bing asked "How are we gonna find them, Wukong?" and Monkey King thought for a moment before saying "I know! We need to talk to the Local Tudi" and Macaque turned pale again 'No... Anything but Tudi' and Pigsy said "The local what now?" while Ao Bing, Tang and Kirby were confused and then Monkey King starts calling out the spirit's name.

"Tudi! Tudi, Tudi, Tudi! Tudi, Tudi, Tudi! Tu-di! Tudi!"



Macaque sighed while Ao Bing was dumbfounded before they noticed the ground started to lift up where Pigsy was standing and the dirt pile started to move on its own, resulting both Pigsy and Mo to fall off. Wukong pulled out his stick and pointed at the dirt and popping out from the pile was the mountain-spirit Tudi. "Ah, there you are!" Monkey King said. "Uh... he lives in a hole?" Tang asked.

"Of course, he does. Mountain spirits can live anywhere in nature like the trees, the waters, even in the ground" Macaque said. "Oh, great Tudi, a demon has captured our goddess and we fear for her safety. So you heard of anything like that?" Monkey King asked and Tudi began to explain, but Macaque knew the spirit would also tell his stories as well. "Might as well get comfy, this is gonna take a while" Macaque said to Tang, Ao Bing and Pigsy as he sat down on the floor and the others did the same.

The Next Day

Monkey King was still listening to Tudi's very long explanation about the beast's whereabouts while Macaque, Tang, Pigsy, Ao Bing, Mo and Kirby were sleeping, but were awakened with Monkey King thanking the Tudi by saying "You don't say. Thank you for your knowledge" and then Tang asked "What did he say?" as they started to wake up.

"The demon we seek is... in that castle!"

Monkey King then points to a castle that has been in their view the whole time, Pigsy was pissed.

"Finding that out took all night?!" Pigsy yelled. "No, of course not! This guy's just awesome! So many great stories!" Monkey King said as he started to pull Pigsy, Tang, Ao Bing and Macaque while Mo and Kirby jumped on their shoulders and started heading towards the castle whip the Tudi waves goodbye and disappeared back underground.

"Hey, Mac! Remember we used to play music on our quest? Wanna do it?" Monkey King asked, making Macaque freeze a bit. "I...I forgot my flute" Macaque said, scratching the back of his head.

"Oh, no worries! Here you go!" Monkey King said, pulling out a flute, as he pulled out his guitar.





And then the two monkeys started playing together.

As they played, Tang, Pigsy, Ao Bing, Kirby and Mo had to admit... they sounded amazing. And while unknown to the group, a ghost figure was watching them from afar as it revealed to be the spirit of Lady Irene herself as she had the softest smile on her face as she says "My sons..." before disappearing.

Back with Aphmau and Vee

The two girls were both eating again as the ladies swooned over Vee as they were commenting on how cute and adorable she was, much to Vee's embarrassment.

"So girls, what brings you to this part of the world?" the woman asked. "We're on a quest! Another evil demon is trying to end all life as we know it, so we're looking for three weapons to defeat her" Aphmau said. "Oh my, that sounds dangerous. And what are these weapons you speak of?" the woman asked while taking a drink from a glass cup. "The Elemental Staff of Might, Lady Irene's staff and the Samadhi Fire. We need to find five items for the Elemental Staff of Might along with three rings for the Samadhi Fire. Once we find them, we'll combine them together and get rid of her, once and for all!" Vee explains as a lady wiped her mouth. "My, my. Sounds like you both have a lot on your plate" the woman says.

"Yeah, it's not so good" Aphmau said and then Vee looks at the woman and asks curiously "By the way... My name's Vee and this is my friend Aphmau. What's your name, Miss?" and this made the woman froze and looked down. "I...I don't have one" the woman said and this surprised both Vee and Aphmau by this. "You don't have a name?" Aphmau asked surprised and the woman shook her head and then Vee began to think for a moment before saying "Maybe I can think of a name for you" and this made the woman look at her surprised before Vee says "How about... Hilda?".

"Hil...da? Hmm... I like it" the woman now named Hilda says smiling (A/n: Hilda is now Scorpion Queen's new name) and this made Vee smile brightly at her and then suddenly something crashes through the wall, shocking them and they looked over and saw Monkey King, Ao Bing, Macaque, Tang, Pigsy, Mo and Kirby. "Unhand my Mother, you evil demon! I am Sun Wukong and the goddess is under my protection!" Monkey King said as he points the stick at Hilda as she asked "Protection from what? A beautiful queen?" and laughs a little. "Look, lady, we are not gonna let you eat my friends!" Pigsy said, making Hilda look offended.

"I would never!"

"Oh, really? Then why all the illusions?" Monkey King said as he snapped his fingers and everything surrounding them changed into broken pieces of the wall, the other women turned into scorpions along with the food and then Hilda turned into her true form as she is a pale green demon with pink eyes. The top half of her body is human except for her arms were scorpion claws while the second half was of a scorpion, dark green is used for her abdomen and tail, which has two golden stripes on each end. On each side of her body, she has three legs that are colored purple in the end, like her claws.

"Fine. Fine! I'm a demon, okay?! You happy?! I just wanted to be a beautiful queen but ugh, 'I'm a demon'" Hilda says as Pigsy was trying to remove the scorpions off of him. Macaque decided to help Pigsy remove the insects while Monkey King was eating a piece of meat with scorpions on him.

"I'm surprised you can eat with all of the scorpions on you" Ao Bing said as he dusted the scorpions off him calmly while Tang dusted the scorpions off him as he was panicking. "Well, it's kinda obvious that I'm gonna win the upcoming fight, so might as well eat something" Monkey King said, as he continued eating. "Guys, wait, wait, wait, wait! Hilda's not gonna hurt anyone! She's not gonna eat us or anyone here! So, let's calm down and-!" but Vee was cut off when Hilda lifted both her and Aphmau to keep them out of the way as they yelp in surprise.

"Listen, we don't want to cause any trouble. Just give us back our goddess and the girl and we'll leav-!" but Macaque was cut off with a hit in the stomach, making him crash into the wall.

"Macaque!" Aphmau and Vee both exclaimed in worry. "No! They can't leave! They must stay! Forever!" Hilda yells. "Don't worry, Mother! Here comes Monkey King!" Monkey King used the stick to attack her, but it was sliced into pieces. "No, my staff" Monkey King looked sad for a minute before looking at Hilda with anger in his eyes, thus the battle between them began. Pigsy, Tang and Ao Bing went over to the girls to check to see if they were okay and realized that Aphmau and Vee were both fine, with no scratches on them.

The battle was getting intense, Macaque got up from the ground after the crash and walked towards them. He was about to say something, but both Aphmau and Vee beat him to it as they both jumped between Monkey King and Hilda as they exclaimed "WAIT!!" and both Hilda and Monkey King stopped. "I get that you're alone, but lying about who you are, forcing people to be your companions is not the answer" Aphmau said as she looks at Hilda with sympathy. "I've been here by myself for so long. I heard Monkey King talk about you being his companions. Well, that's all I ever wanted: Friendship" Hilda says as tears welled up in her eyes. "You can't steal friendship. It's something that's earned" Tang said, coming up to Aphmau and Vee. "He's right. The seven of us are friends because we choose to be" Monkey King said as this surprised Pigsy, Tang and Ao Bing.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, we're friends?" Pigsy asked and then Ao Bing asked with an eyebrow raised "Since when?"

"Of course we are! Everyone needs friends! Can you imagine what I'd be like without friends? I'd probably turn into a really manipulative jerk or something" Monkey King said and laughs while Pigsy, Tang, Macaque and Ao Bing gave him a look.

"Yeah, yeah, but where am I gonna find someone like that?" Hilda asked. "Well... Why don't you come with us?" Vee said. "What?" Hilda asked.

"What?" Everyone asked. "Hey, we need all the help that we can get" Vee says and then Aphmau placed her hand on Vee's and says "She's right. If anything, having an extra set of hands wouldn't hurt, would it?" and this made Monkey King chuckle as he said "That's our Mom. Always know what to say and what to do" and then Aphmau says "One more thing..." before raising her hand as it glowed white along with her eyes as she lifted up Hilda and she turns back into her human form.

"You don't need to hide who you are. We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are" Aphmau says and then Vee walks up to Hilda and grabs both of her hands and says "She's right. I even know what it's like to feel insecure about my appearance" and this made everyone look confused before Vee takes a step back before transforming into her true form as her body becomes a small, chubby serpentine body with two arms and a tail in place of legs. Her face is round with wide eyes and a turned-up nose as she has a catlike mouth in a "W" shape with two small teeth poking out from her bottom jaw with her lower lip being a dark maroon color. She has pale, swamp-green scales with cream-colored spots on her head, tail, underbelly, and the bottom half of her face. There are tufts of navy-blue hair on her head, back, and ears. Her eyes consist of yellow-gold pupils, black irises, and aqua sclera as she has off-white fins on the sides and tip of her tail, along with a dull peacock-blue piercing on the tip.



Everyone was shocked and amazed by Vee's true form (A/n: Vee hasn't shown everyone who she really was, since she wasn't ready and only Funneh knows) and then Vee says "I'm a basilisk, and technically, I... I shouldn't exist. But... It doesn't matter where you came from, what matters is who you choose to be" and it was silent before unexpectedly... Hilda hugs Vee, much to her shock as Hilda whispers almost sounding like she was ready to cry "Thank you..." and Vee smiles before hugging her back as well.

Everyone else smiled softly at this scene before Aphmau asks "Shall we get going, then?".

Back at T.E.A.

Once they got back to the van, Monkey King was going through the bushes to find his staff while Macaque sat down on the ground, feeling exhausted. He began telling Gold and Draca what went on their quest and Vee even showed them her true form, much to their shock and amazement. "We can't leave him like this. I think he's getting worse!" Tang said to Pigsy as they saw Monkey King pull out another stick from the bushes as he said "Oh, here's my staff!" and the tip of it breaks. "I don't know, I'm starting to like him" Pigsy said and then Tang looked up and saw a big rock on a cliff. "Amnesia rules. I'm gonna find something to bonk him on the head!" Tang said before dashing off. "Don't just–" Pigsy starts to say before sighing. "Well, me and Draca are gonna go to sleep" Gold says with a yawn as she, Draca, Aphmau and Vee went inside the van.

Then Pigsy sees Tang's book that he dropped, he picks it up and opens it as he looks through a few chapters about Monkey King's journey with his companions from a thousand years ago and while Ao Bing also looks at it too before staring softly at the picture of Katara.



Monkey King popped from behind and took the book out of Pigsy's hands as he said "Hmm, you know, they really got your face just right. Super on model!" as he looked through the pages. "Yeah... so hey, uh, listen. I guess I just wanted to say before you turn back to... Maybe you ain't so bad for the kid after all. Just do me a favor huh? Keep him safe, alright? When we get the three rings of Samadhi.." Pigsy said.

"Four rings" Monkey King said, making Pigsy, Macaque, Ao Bing and Hilda surprised by the new information. "Four?! Wukong, what do you mean four rings?!" Macaque asked. "Well... She didn't want me to tell you, but-" Monkey King was about to say something when a giant boulder fell on top of him. The backdoor of T.E.A. was immediately slammed open with Gold exclaiming "What was that?!" and then she, Draca, Vee and Aphmau ran outside. "Did it work?!" Tang yelled from the top of the hill. "Tang! What are you doing?!" Pigsy shouted and Tang rushed back down from the mountain while saying as he was catching his breath "What? You're the one who said to hit him in the head" and this made Hilda yelled "I don't think he meant kill him!" and still confused Draca asked "Seriously, what is going on?!" and then Macaque says while dusting off some dirt off him "Relax, it'll take more than that to kill him".

"He's seven time immortal, remember?" Ao Bing said and then the boulder started to crack and Monkey King broke out of the rock, he got into a battle stance before coughing out streams of flames from the Chaos Ghost Pepper. "Hey, what-why is my mouth so hot?" Monkey King asked and then Tang ran towards him and hugs him, crying. "Hey, why are you hugging me? Also why does Draco boy look like a girl?" Monkey King asked, making Draca blushed in embarrassment.

"Oh, it worked! You got your memories back! Pigsy gave you a pepper. I-I told him not to and I thought you were..." Tang started to explain everything that happened. After Tang was done explaining, they drove off east to find the others with Pigsy driving as he, Macaque and Ao Bing couldn't stop thinking about what Monkey King said.

"Just do me a favor, huh? Keep him safe, alright? When we get the three Rings of Samadhi"

"Four rings"

"Four?! Wukong, what do you mean four rings?!"

Macaque and Ao Bing looked at each other before Macaque looked away as he was in deep thought.

'Four rings? What are you hiding, Wukong? And does this have something to do with... Mom?' Macaque thought as he glanced at Monkey King and glared at him. Next to him is the ghostly figure of Lady Irene as she was sitting next to him and sighs sadly before saying "I'm sorry my son, but you will know the truth sooner or later... Just keep the girl safe.." as she vanished. Macaque's ear twitched as he looked next to him...but saw nothing. Monkey King looks at the page of him and his companions before closing the book.
